“Ok keep eyes open folks for hostiles. Oh any possible candidates for a caravan wagon for Daisy when you reconed the area?” I asked.

“Nope not that was in any decent shape most if not all look like they suffered a crash most likely due to the fact that there were probably quite a few wagons in the air at the time of Cloudsdails destruction.” Storm said.

I nodded. “Ditzy said she was on the outskirts of Cloudsdail when she got ghoulified. There was bound to be a lot of pegasi and ponies off to work going by the city when the zebra megaspell hit. Still hard to believe that this happened to Equestria not even sure what truly happened how everything fell apart. Equestria was a land of harmony. Whatever truly happened between the three tribes I hope it can be repaired and trust restored between them I for one do not have any problems with Earth or unicorns There my fellow ponies ones I have sworn to protect. Equipment that was to go to the base was stored there was going to be shipped out the night the bombs fell so it’s possible that the equipment is still there if it is then it is important to recover that gear. I can’t explain everything Daisy just know that there is a reason for this trip to the MAW hub.” I said.

“I see Well I hope that the rangers haven't gotten what you're after from what I know they looked at most of the Hubs there. If there was anything important there then it’s possible that it was taken by the rangers if they even made it to the MAW hub.” Daisy said.

“Alright we will plan accordingly what about Tenpony anything we should know I would rather be aware of things instead of going in blind.” I said.

“Well The security is pretty tight only one entrance to Tenpony is available no ground entrance you need to go to the Four Star station at Tenpony to get in they will ask you what your business is at Tenpony is than to get in you must give up turn in all ammo no exceptions weapons are ok but no ammo you can buy rubber bullets from the security office should you feel the need to have ammo. All ammo will be returned to you upon leaving the tower. Tenpony is not the best place but they're trying to survive just like everywhere else rules are very very strict took my girls 3 years to just get citizenship in the Tower your word will mean little to nothing there caravans don’t have the easiest time there. We might be able to Salvage something at a later time from the wagons but we would need to have the proper equipment to do so.” I said getting nods from all three of my friends.

For the Last Celestia time I am not enclave I am Commander Cloud Striker of the Equestrian Airguard I am escorting a trade Caravan to Tenpony Tower in Manehattan you can ask Daisy herself who is the leader of the caravan that my friend and I rescued near New Appleloosa from a raider ambush and offered to escort them to Tenpony due to the fact that all but one guard and the caravan’s surviving owner was all that was left of the caravan we recovered their merchandise and are escorting them to Tenpony Either let us pass or at least point us to the pony or individuals in charge so we can speak without having weapons drawn on each other I rather resolve this without bloodshed.” I expelled my breath in a huff tapping a hoof in irritation.

Storm what do we have left in the stored medical supplies?” I asked.

“Magic laced bandages mostly we have three healing and one extra strength restoration potion. Besides the whats in our medical injection systems is stuff we can’t afford to trade or sell.” She said.

I looked at Gawd noticed the magical energy shotgun she had holstered causing me to raise my eyebrow. “Well we can offer you what we can you have wounded looks like a battle was fought not long ago, but maybe I can offer you another service as well your weapon looks like it could use some TLC I could repair and possibly enhance it if your interested no charge for repairs Ask Misty sometime I fixed her Shotgun with no problems. It is up to you though.” I said.

I walked in picked up my tools and got to work sitting well within sight of Gawd I checked the type of power pack was conventional spark batteries. Carefully I looked at the components seeing that the barrel was slightly damaged from wear and tear I looked closer. I set the weapon down got up went to a side compartment returned with the same type barrel I swapped the barrel cleaned and realigned the focuser lens tuned the power system put it back together slid the spark pack back in place closed it checked the alignment then hoofed it back to Gawd with a smile.

“There we go barrel was warping and needed to be replaced power system needed slight repairs focusing lens was out of alignment and needed cleaning. It should function better now and with the repairs to the power system the spark battery should last a little longer other then that was in decent shape.” I said.

While I was fixing Gawds weapon Storm was haggling with a pony over the medical supplies got 150 caps for the bandages and 150 for the three healing potions and 100 for the extra strength restoration potion netting us 300 caps.

“Well that wipes us out of medical supplies.” Storm said.

I gave a nod of understanding. “So Gawd are we free to pass through I would like to make it at least as near as possible to Manehattan.” I asked.

“Well I can ask Littlepip and her companions if you can pass R-7 is there’s now they got Defences going up to defend this location.” Gawd said.

The name made my ears perk up. “Littlepip is there a pegasus by the name of Calamity with her?” I asked.

Gawd nodded. “They did a service for me as payment I gave them R-7 as there home or base.” Gawd said then asked “Why?”

Commander Storm Wing we wish to speak to you.” I said again removing my helmet.

I sighed Calamity Do you know the history of the war do you know the Equestrian Airguard insignia?” I asked getting a nod from him.

“What about the SPP do they have access to them or the central hub?” I asked.

“The normal towers from what I understand little access but central SPP control hub is still unavailable no pony can gain access to it from what I understand.” Calamity said.

As for the question you asked about 150 are available and there meant for the elite of the elite all power armor took the looks of the mk 2 mk one and one B’s got overhauled slightly improved armoring and power systems updated I could assist you Lt. with your Nova Serge Rifles from the looks of it your Battle Saddle is the same design and flexibility as your Co’s capable of multiple weapons to be mounted and interchangeable yet your rifles are taking 4 of your slots. I could combine them so that they only take one slot on each side instead of two slots freeing you up to have more of a selection of weapons. Calamity said.

“Another thing I should mention that Armor is for High ranking enclave officers. As well as special missions and you must be cleared to use said armors before hoof.” Calamity said.

“Ok that can be important to know and from what you said about one hundred and fifty of this armor was made is it possible that more could have been made since?” I asked.

He nodded. “Provided the material was found to make the spell matrixes for that armor then yes more could be made, After all 100 were made after the magaspells fell.” Calamity said getting a nod from me.

Calamity walked over to me examined the armors systems. “Eeyup what aye thought you're rifle wasn’t hooked into the armors onboard weapon power supply If yea give me a moment I can correct that you should have at least 30 shots before the armor will recharge the weapon power you must be using Spark cells for your nova serge rifle Ma’am.” He said I nodded. “I only got 2 cells I have it only as a backup weapon Storm uses them as her primary weapons. Our armor also comes equipped with Wingblades something I insisted we have and was never incorporated into the design as far as I was made aware.” I said getting a nod from Calamity.

He made an adjustment here and a notice popped up on my hud weapon power indicator display showed that a weapon was connected and fully charged. I looked and the serge rifle was charged up I immediately deactivated the weapon and engaged the safety.

Calamity burst out laughing. “Didn’t know the weapon power was engaged, and charged the weapon you should know have an indicator that popped up on the hud that is labeled weapon power and charge indicator.” He said. I nodded.

“Storm Wing that power bar is for the onboard weapon power system Make sure you apply the safety and lock it down when he hooks your rifles into the power or you will have charged weapons ready to fire.” I said getting a Yes Ma’am from her.

Storm released her Nova serge Rifles so Calamity could modife them only took 30 minutes for him to do so and hook them up into Storms armors weapon power system unlike with mine storm had with the assistance of Calamity applied the safety.

“Strange If Storm’s weapons have always been the nova serge rifles they should have been tied already into the armors weapon power system.” Calamity said.

“I can answer that question. When I got the armor The weapons were not attached to the saddle only the missile pads were I chose to go the energy weapon rout as my primary weapons Cloud Striker chose to go conventional with a nova serge rifle as back up specially ordered her weapons to be for pegasus use each was designed to be pegasus friendly even that massive sniper she has.” Storm Wing said.

“I believe in taking prisoners instead of turning them into glowing piles of ash plus I’m a sniper I wasn’t going to not have a sniper rifle.” I said when Calamity looked at me funny.

He burst into laughter again. I joined him as did Storm Wing.

“Calamity we need to pass through to head for Manehattan can we get clearance to pass?” I asked.

“Aye will need to ask Littlepip she’s working on setting up a turret array was planning I believe on going back to that sky convoy with the turrets and salvaging them for this place.” Calamity said.

“We can help with that if you need a means to move said turrets here.” I said looking at Calamity.

“Would be a good sign that we are not your enemies but friends willing to help.” I said getting a nod in agreement from Storm.

“Well that would be surely helpful.” Calamity said.

“Well If you would be kind enough to walk with us we do not want to have a problem. At the entrance to R-7.” I said getting a nod from Calamity.

We exited the tortoise Misty Saluting me I returned the Salute with a shake of the head. “Been reading the manual haven’t you.” I asked getting a sheepish nod from Misty.

“Hook up Misty we are moving into R-7 for the moment when we get there we going to move things to the tortoise for a salvage operation to help Calamity and party with a project there doing.” I said.

“Oh before that happens Calamity You may see things from the supply wagon that could be useful know this nothing at this time is up for sale It is not all mine and is spoken for already from what I understand.” I looked at Misty getting a nod.

“Yes most of what is in the supply wagon is from the caravan I was guarding before joining up and is supplies for Tenpony.” Misty said getting a nod from Calamity.

“Let’s move the stuff from the Supply wagon To the tortoise before we go into R-7 that way we can offer the use of the supply wagon to salvage what is needed plus it was modified so it can be pulled through the sky like the tortoise just has wheels instead of floats Like the Tortoise.” I said.

Misty and Storm Nods in agreement. We made short work of transfering everything over to the tortoise.

“That was a lot of gear you moved over I could tell the Caravans brahman packs a lot of weapons and ammo boxes.” Calamity said.

“Would you deny me the right to arm ponies who wish to assist me in helping the wasteland Calamity?” I asked.

“Eenope That I wouldn’t although would you be willing to sell some ammo to help. Littlepip and myself went through almost all our ammo in the conflict at Shattered Hoof down the road. Littlepip’s Little Macintosh isn’t easy finding ammo for.” Calamity said.

“Littlepip has Little Macintosh Applejacks .45 cal Revolver?” I asked Shock evident in my voice.

“From what she told me. She was checking out Ironshod Firearms and found it in a display case with some ammo and a message played when she opened it the weapon was in great condition she wasn’t going to let it collect dust and not used. Who ever put it in the gun in that display case kept his word to keep it safe.” Calamity said I nodded.

“That would have been Braborn Aj’s cousin. Aj sent him Little Mac to him as a sign of peace to mend fences.” I said.

We walked with Calamity the short way to R-7. As we reached what could be the center of the little outpost the ponies around paused tence. “It’s alright folks there not enclave.” Calamity said.

“Who are you scarry friends Calamity?” A voice of a mare asked.

“Velvet Remedy I would like to introduce ye to Commander Cloud Striker and Lt. Commander Storm Wing of the Equestrian Airguard.” Calamity said. Then said to us. “And Cloud Striker Storm Wing this is Velvet Remedy of stable 2 she along with Littlepip who is also from Stable 2 have been out here for about a week almost 2. Velvet they are passing through escorting a trade caravan who lost there brahman a two headed cow. To Tenpony Tower in Manehattan and is offering to assist us with Littlepips little project for R-7.” Calamity said.

“Charmed.” Velvet said nodding.

“Would the Caravan happen to have Medical supplies by chance?” Velvet asked.

“Sorry Miss Velvet we are out of medical supplies last was sold to Gawd’s ponies so we could even talk to Calamity.” I said as I took off my helmet.

“All we have left is what's in our armors.” I said.

Velvet sighed. “Well guess we will have to resupply somewhere or get supplies at least Medical aid was rendered to who needs it.” Velvet said.

My ears shot up and so did my Eyes. “You just sounded like an old friend of mine and from what I heard under Calamity’s breath is true you helped raiders somepony I have learned cant be reasoned with and often or not will kill you given the chance.” I said.

“Oh and who would that have been.” Velvet asked.

“Fluttershy Ministry Mare of Peace.” I said.

Now it was Velvets turn to go wide eyed. “You knew Fluttershy?” Velvet asked and I couldn’t help but laugh at what could be considered a Fangasm.

She was a little gray unicorn with a solid brown mane and tail with emerald green eyes. In a holster along her barding was Little Macintosh.

“So you're the Stable Dweller I have heard about.” I said getting a facehoof from Littlepip and a laugh from Calamity.

“Oh for Buck sakes Don’t call me that I’m already having a hard enough time with the knowledge that I am on the Radio as it is.” Littlepip wined.

I just raised my eyebrow. “I take it your not use to attention and from the looks of your barding you're a technician not to mention your cutie mark is a pipbuck. I was told that you were in the process of planning defences for this and I am sorry Train wreck turned outpost turned home.” I said.

Littlepip gave a deadpan stare. “Yes I am I used some turrets a few days ago to buy us some time to get away from a hoard of feral ghouls to build a turret array to protect Junction R-7 when we are away.” Littlepip said.

I nodded. “Good Idea I can help you move the turrets here and even assist in setting it up if you like by using our supply wagon I pointed at the Armored wagon attached to the tortoise. I can Fly you to the turrets land a safe distance away so you can deactivate them before I approach.” I said.

Littlepip paled a little.

Velvet sighed. “Last time were in a wagon being pulled in the air the landing was rough.” Velvet said.

“Hey Aye can’t help it That I got shot in the wing.” Calamity said.

It was at that time that I did notice that Calamity’s wing was in bandages.

“Do not worry About that the wagon is armored and is capable of flight plus I am in power armor and am a trained Shadow Bolt not much can take me down.” I said.

“On a side note can you look at our pipbucks after we get back from getting that turret array you wish to build they have been in a stasis like state for 200 years and could possibly need to be checked I have tools in the tortoise for such but never had the technical knowledge to work on them. I know Power Armor repair and maintenance and a few other skills but other than that Nope.” I said.

“Also if you let me see Little Macintosh I can check him out do some maintenance on him and I owe it to Aj to make sure if he’s being used again that he won't fail his owner.” I said.

That got a shocked expression on Littlepip’s face as she looked at the gun in question.

“How do you know about Little Macintosh?” Littlepip asked.

I smiled. “I knew his original owner the one that gave that gun to Brabern. Be honored Littlepip you have there one of the most powerful guns ever created of its class. Applejack herself put a lot of love into that gun.” I said.

Littlepip’s, Velvets and Calamity’s Jaws dropped when I said that.

I walked over and closed Littlepip’s mouth. “I take it you are shocked that I would know of little Macintosh I also guess that you started to put the pieces together Littlepip the three apples on the bit was Applejacks Cutie mark I would love to do some maintenance on him for you plus I have something for you.” I said motioning for her to come with me.

Littlepip Velvet and Calamity followed me I looked over my shoulder and Giggled as all of them were following me.

I walked into the tortoises compartment rummaged around for a moment came back out with 150 ammo shelf boxes marked .45 cal and hoofed them over to Littlepip. “A gift from me to you Littlepip consider it as a thank you. I do not have any weapons that use that type of ammo so it is yours to have.” I said with a smile as I held my hoof out With hesitation she drew Little Mac and hoofed him over I took him with respect. “It is good to see that you survived Little Mac lets give you a check up so you can continue to help out there.” I said to Little Mac as I began to clean him and check him out. I couldn’t help but giggle at the looks on the faces around me.

Storm just sighed “Really Cj you're talking to Little Mac like you would talk to a pony getting a check up.” Storm said.

I looked at Storm “Storm Chaser I will be respectful of the namesake given to this gun.” I said with a fire in my eyes.
“This gun was named After Big Mac Storm Applejack put a lot of love into this gun and named him after her brother Big Macintosh.” I said with steel in my voice.

Storm looked at the ground. “I know CJ I know.” she said with tears in her eyes

I sighed Pulling Storm Chaser into a hug. “Shh Storm I know you were a close friend to Big Mac and his death still hurts you to this day. So yes I am paying respects to Little Macintosh and honoring Big Mac at the same time Little Mac can still help Littlepip out.” I said giving a strong bear hug to my friend.

“Sorry about that everypony Little Mac was treated just like a pony by Aj Storm Wing was very close to Big Macintosh. When he died She nearly lost it took her 6 months to return to duty and took a lot of talking on my part to help Storm through it. Bringing that all up again was to remind her that Little Mac has a job to do.” I said while holding Storm close.

“Hes ready Littlepip he needed a good cleaning and slight toon up other than that he’s in good shape and I’m happy to see him again so Is Storm just give us a moment and we can go get them turrets Littlepip.” I said as Littlepip levitated Little Mac and reupholstered him giving us a nod before leaving.

“Sorry Storm for yelling at you like that I was just paying my respects. It's not like you to crack like that are you okey? I asked.

“Sorry Cj I do not know what happened back there I don’t know why I snapped like that.” Storm Chaser said.

“Everything will be alright. We just have to keep it together.” I said giving my friend a kiss on the forehead.

“If you do need to talk I’m here for you Stormy. You know this.” I said.

She nodded as we separated. “You know We both have been on edge lately we probably need to relieve some stress blow off some steam.” I said with a smirk.

Storm Wing laughed. “Can’t do that Ma’am that would be a major violation of the no fraternization of military conduct.” Said my friend.

“Now there is the Storm Chaser I know.” I said Laughing.

We left the tortoise and rejoined the others. “Sorry about that everypony.” Storm said.

They just smiled and accepted the Apology I disconnected the supply wagon from the tortoise and hooked myself into the horness. “Shouldn’t be gone too long girls.” I said to Daisy Misty and Storm. Keep watch when I get back we will eat and I’ll cook.” I said getting a cheer from Storm and Misty.

I just shook my head and laughed as I spread my wings and took off after Littlepip was in the wagon.

I flew in the direction of Cloudsdail remembering the location of the turret convoy Storm told me about 15 minutes later I touched down Lightly. “Thank you for Flying Cloud Striker airservices we hoped you enjoyed your flight step lightly as you exit the wagon.” I said getting a giggle from Littlepip.

We were quiet for awhile. Littlepip was the one to break the silence. “So what’s your story?” She asked me.

I looked at her for a moment contemplating. “Where to begin as I said before I’m a military officer of the Equestrian Airguard. Myself and my Wingmare woke up 4 days ago to see that everything that we knew was gone and that Equestria was a wasteland. The day we set out I heard a broadcast and learned that Slavery was going on and that somepony had rescued slaves from Appleloosa but perished supposedly by going over a cliff in a speeding train. I assisted a caravan and am now escorting them to Tenpony Tower well I first escorted them to New Appleloosa reuniting with my old friend Ditzy Doo got the wasteland survival guide she wrote and did a lot of business with her the next day My actions were reported by that buck on the radio I panicked a little I have to admit now I am on my way to Tenpony Tower to speak to this buck got an appointment and everything Oh and Storm and I are the only survivors of the base we were located stationed at. Everypony I know whether it was family friends loved ones are gone the only one I had left that I knew at the time was Storm WIng she’s my best friend my only family I have.” I said as we loaded up the turrets. After Littlepip got back in the wagon I strapped myself in and took off heading back to Junction R-7.

We touched down 15 minutes later and offloaded the turrets. “Ok Cloud Striker Storm WIng let me see them.” Littlepip said.

We laughed as we presented our pipbucks to Littlepip. “What at least I can do this and they won’t shoot at me.” She said with a smirk. That just made us laugh even harder.

“Hmm. Littlepip looked puzzled. I do not think I’ve seen this model before.” Littlepip said.

“Well they are Military models they have a built in Broadcaster and a few enhancements that your 3000 model doesn't have but is has the capability with peripherals. Ours interfaces with our armors and allows us to access just about any terminal. Improved hacking capability and enhanced EFS.” I said getting a whistle from Littlepip.

Littlepip pulled her tools out and began checking our pipbucks out she was surprised at how well the little leg worn device was operating she secured them to our forelegs saying “There in good shape should be running smoother now too.” Littlepip said.

“Thank you Littlepip Join us for a bite to eat then we really have to get going.” I said.

They nodded in agreement of food so I went to gather the ingredients for a vegetable stew. I whistled a Sweetie Belle song and was shocked when Velvet began to sing the song I was Whistling. I paused with ladle in hoof and looked at Velvet. Littlepip noticed my look of confusion. “She’s a direct descendant of Sweetie Belle’s and has the talent to boot.” Littlepip said.

“Well I’ll be I knew Sweetie Belle was the overmare of stable 2 but never thought that I would meet one of her Descendants. You do your Grand mare proud Velvet do not let anypony tell you that you can’t sing.” I said when she finished the song clapping my hooves in aplaus. Storm Joining me. Velvet had a light blush on her face. “Thank You Cloud Striker.” Velvet said.

I finished fixing the food Storm getting bowls and spoons out for everypony. I smiled as I waited for them to take a bite Storm Wing also seemed to want to see their reaction as well.

Littlepip Velvet Remedy and Calamity all took a bite and there eyes widened and a mule of delight came from their mouths as they ate the food I couldn’t help but Giggle.

“Where did you learn to cook?” Velvet and Littlepip asked.

“From a pony dear to me I’ll don’t know what happened to her and it frustrates me that Everything I knew and everypony I knew are gone. I have my talents. I have my secrets and a good friend. I have my purpose and honor and my loyalty to Equestria of the past and now I will not forget my oath I swore the day I joyed the guard to protect Equestria.” I said with a sigh.

“The wasteland has a way of destroying a ponies Ideals.” Littlepip said.

I looked at her. “ I understand that. It is why I will never forget the ponies I fight for I may have failed the ponies under my command when all 200 died 17 years ago because they were trapped They even said in there last message to not blame myself. If I had instructed the base to revive me should a failure accor they would be here today as well. I failed but I will not let it get me down I will not Dishonor their memory.” I took a drink looking at Misty. “I honored the final request of one of my ponies. I found a pony to fill her roll who joined my unit. Gave them her armor as she requested and her weapons.” I said smiling at Misty. “They will serve her well and go a long way in helping to protect ponies I can not change the past, but I hope to give a brighter future for all. Equestria needs ponies like you Littlepip, Calamity and Velvet Remedy. You give me hope that not all is lost. I am just a pony I make mistakes from time to time I have to let the light inside shine true A good friend of mine once said To know what you are capable of is to understand yourself. Staying true to yourself and you will never go wrong.” I said.

“Anyway We should get our stuff repacked in the supply wagon that way we have access to the communications equipment in the tortoise.” Said Storm Wing I nodded in agreement.

We quickly transferred everything that was in the supply wagon back with no questions about the equipment or the weapons. “Alright Everypony ready to go?” I asked.

I got nods from all of my companions. “Alright final check make sure everything is secured for travel we got a long road ahead of us if we want to make it as close as possible to Manehattan we will need to get going.” I said with a smile before putting on my helmet then looked at Littlepip and friends. “It was nice to meet you Littlepip Velvet and Calamity. Thank you for the Information Calamity I needed to know what was going on with the pegasi or what they they were not assisting down here. You provided me with a lot to think about, but I still need information. I have a feeling that something is about to happen. I can’t put my hoof on it.” I said with a sigh.

“Redeye is up to something he runs the slaver army that attacked Shattered Hoof Gawd lead the ponies of shattered hoof to victory with our assistance my first day I left the stable I was captured by Slavers we were at the bridge into PonyVille one of the Slavers mentioned lets see what the toll is this time but they were killed by the Raiders. I freed my fellow Unicorn only to have one slavers double barrel shotgun to my head and them demanding my canteens and saddlebags I was shocked but I grabbed up the Combat shotgun one of the Raiders had and we had a stand off he backed down and I was pinned down by a sniper made it to one of the buildings and rested for the Night I was given advice assistance by somepony named Watcher from a Sprite bot so I went to the Library in PonyVille walked into Pony hell I saved 5 ponies including Ditzy Doo. My first time Meeting Calamity was not the best He shot me nearly killed me because I was in scavenged cobbled together raider armor, I awoke in New Appleloosa healthy did a job for them learned how to do heavy lifting and set my sights on Old Appleloosa to free the slaves and follow a lead I had on Velvets location.” Littlepip said.

“So Redeye hmmm. Take it hes the buck that sometimes speaks through the sprite bots broadcasts.” I asked getting a nod from Littlepip.

I nodded “From what you told me there is definitely somethings going to blow sooner than later. Keep your ears and eyes up out there Littlepip I wasn’t Lying when I said ponies need a pony like you Look around you at the ponies around you can see it in there eyes in the way they move they have hope that things are looking up for them You have inspired hope in them don’t ever lose that hope Littlepip hold onto it don’t let it go everypony needs somepony you need your friends and they need you I bet not one of them has ever thought what it would be like without you in their lives.” I said with a giggle at the face Littlepip was making.

“Anyway we should get going.” I said.

“You know flying there from here you could possibly be there in Two hours well at least the outskirts.” Calamity said.

I looked at him then looked at the others in my group. “Ok girls what you think should we fly? I’m not going to deny that it would be quicker.” I said

“Well would be the first time and we could test the connection for the supply wagon to the tortoise see how it holds up in flight.” Storm said.

I raised a hoof in thought. “No if we're going to fly to the outskirts you and I will take the tortoise and supply wagon to be on the safe side. That way if we do come under attack we won't lose the wagon we designed that connector to pull the wagon not for combat we can make modifications later for better control maybe dock for the supply wagon for pulling while in flight.” I said.

“So what you gals want to do Fly or make our way like we have been?” I asked.

“Lets at least give it a shot.” All three said.

“Alright Storm strap into the wagons Harness I’ll fly the tortoise.” I said getting a nod from Storm.

I checked the harness was secured Strapped myself into the tortoises harness. “Ok Misty keep an ear out for any transmission I do not want to be surprised by Enclave patrols Daisy you're on weapons just in case keep com’s on speaker so Daisy can hear Misty keep the hatch sealed.” I said.

“YES MA’AM!” they replied all at the same time I burst out laughing along with Littlepip Velvet and Calamity.

“I hope you three will be safe out there Take care and we hope to meet again.” I said before taking off. Storm Wing was right behind me with the supply wagon Misty and Daisy where in the tortoise I heard the weapons charge up. “Daisy are you familiarizing yourself with the weapons system?” I asked.

“Yes ma’am sorry if I surprised you needed to know how to activate and target it is different than using Artillery emplacements we have a few at bucklen cross the steel rangers citadel I had to learn how to use them didn’t have the targeting talismans to have them auto emplacements like the turret array that Littlepip wants to set up if we knew about that convey the turrets were apart of Littlepip would not have found them.” Daisy said sadly.

“Storm Keep an eye out for wagons or skywagons that can be converted into a decent size cart to pull supplies I intend to keep my promise to Daisy to provide her with a means should she choose to of getting the caravan back up and running.” I said getting an affirmative from Storm.

Half an hour into our flight I spotted what looked like a parking or dealer for wagons and skywagons. “Look alive ponies looks like we might have what we are looking for just up ahead prepare for landing.” I said.

“Understood.” Misty and Daisy said. “I see it Ma’am If I remember right this should be a rest stop between Shattered Hoof Correction Facility and Manehattan Would be a good place to set up camp for the night looks like the only way to it is to fly the ramps have collapsed so no way in unless you can fly.” Storm said.

“Yeah I think it would be a good Idea to stop for the night at least we are closer to Manehattan now plus it could give us sometime to check out lot for the best we can provide for Daisy needs.” I said.

“Thank You I wouldn’t want to leave my girls with no means to operate a trade caravan it all depends on what they say after we get there.” Daisy said.

“I understand Daisy we will be making one stop before hitting Tenpony though It is more a check we have supplies to pick up at this location. If it is intact we will have supplies that would be beneficial to all of us. Including you Daisy should you decide to join the unit I have to rebuild.” I said as we landed.

We went about setting up camp. “Storm can we put the tents up?” I asked.

“We should be able to Ma’am want me to put the tents up?” She asked.

“Yes I would like to have a cot to lay on tonight not the harsh road surface last time I did that Woke up with Sore and stiff wings like i hadn't gotten a good night sleep in a day or too.” I said getting a snicker from Storm.

“Can it Storm I can’t help it.” I said instantly.

“Ma’am Yes Ma’am.” Storm said snapping to attention in a salute. I just stared at her for a moment. “At ease.” I said Storm relaxed a bit. “Sorry CJ I know that you have a hard time with that particular issue.” Storm said.

“It might be fruitless endeavor ma’am. The Steel Rangers hit most of the Ministry hubs in Manehattan stripping them of anything salvageable. From what I understand there was only two they couldn’t get one is Tenpony the other was never told to me.” Daisy said.

I growled. “They have better not have messed with that hub.” I said.

“We shall find out when we get there in the morning.” Storm said as she set the tents up.

When my tent was up I got the cot out and set it up and sighed. “Misty your first watch Storm next I’ll take the last watch for the night. I do not want to be disturbed for a little bit Need to take care of something personal.” I said getting nods from all.

I closed the tent flap got out of my armor looking at the state my wings where in and sighed again with a grown. I began to preen my wings remembering a time when my mother preened me when I was but a little filly it was a happy memory one I always cherished. It would always bring a smile to my face. I sighed as I finished preening my wings feeling lonely but the memory of that first time always brought a smile to my face I would not dishonor the memory of a day I had sex for the first time. I exited the tent to gasps from my friends yes i considered Daisy and Misty as friends.

I paused with eyebrow raised. “What do I have something on my face?” I asked confused.

“No but I think this might have been the first time they have seen yeah without the armor CJ they were not there for your speech when you got out of your armor for Silver Bell.” Storm said.

“Oh..” I said before bursting into giggles. “Sorry girls been awhile plus I need some alone time to take care of something that Storm’s going need to do as well.” I said as I fluffed my wings.

Storm Wing Laughed. “Yes I know my wings are probably a mess we can’t really preen in armor can we. You and I are close friends the only way we can preen in armor is to have somepony do it for you.” Storm said and I nodded. “You're like a Sister to me Storm and I consider you my only family in this hell that has become of Equestria I don’t think either of us wishes to move that relationship into that area. Not saying I wouldn’t should it happen but you know what I mean.” I said getting a nod from Storm. “We have been friends for a long time Cloudy Joy ever since Basic training we have been. We know each other pretty well but moving our relationship into the intimacy isn’t something I would want to do if it happens it happens but until then should it happen its not an option.” Storm said getting a nod of agreement.

“Well Ma’am I can say this you're absolutely beautiful.” Misty said getting me to sputter which got her to giggle.

I sighed “Ok I probably deserved that. I have to say this though I am not looking for a relationship of the intimate kind my last one ended when my lover died with our potential mate at Littlehorn. I took their deaths hard it took me a few months to pull it together Rainbow Dash helped me suggested I enlist and join her in her ministry I did it gave me something to be proud of. I met Storm Chaser in basic we been friends ever since. She stayed with me became my team before the power armors were created Snipers were a two pony unit consisting of a spotter and the sniper Storm was my spotter we were a unit took down quite a few enemies. I wasn’t proud of taking the lives of our enemies. I never liked killing but was defending my home so no pony would have to feel the pain I had suffered. She died before anything formal could be arranged between us or the stallion we had our eyes on.” I said a sad smile on my face. “Matter of fact when I was preening I remembered my first time with my lover she was a very close fillyfriend we grow up together she surprised me one day when I was flying caused me to crash she offered to help me with my wings since she was at fault for the state they were in was also the day I learned of how sensitive my wings were and that I was into mares as well as stallions.” I blushed when I revealed that to Daisy and Misty.

Still blushing as they looked at me. “Lets just say when she preened my left wing left me panting her preening of my right wing left me wanting more I returned the favor two fold one then lead to another and we became lovers you will get no more details.” I said blushing.

Storm Wing Just burst out laughing with a massive blush on her face. “Yeap that does tend to happen with sensitive wings and mares that like mares. Although you wanting to form a herd I have a hard time believing.” She said.

“What you do not believe me..?” I said as i turned around walked back into the tent got the old photo of my lover and the stallion we were thinking of on our first date. Walking back out I shoved the photo at my friend… “There is my only remaining picture of my lover and our prospect for a herd.” I said Slightly put off, “I finally tell you something Only one other pony ever knew and I’m called a liar.” I said in a huff.

“Wow wow wow I never called you a liar CJ I just never pictured you in a herd that’s all.” Storm said hastily. “So she was your only pony you have been intimate with the way you are reacting to my tease tells me that.” Storm Wing said.

I sighed. “Yes Storm Chaser she was my one and only lover and I miss her deeply we were talking about formalizing it getting married and settling down was even going to ask him if he would like to form a herd with us we never got to it our schedules didn’t allow it was going to visit her and him the Saturday after the littlehorn massacre but you know how that ended up. I lost both of them that day and it nearly broke me. Rainbow helped me and I went to basic and met you.” I said.

“So you like both mares and stallions.” Misty said.

“Yes I do it does happen not sure how it is these days but back before and during the war there were quite a few mare couples and some herds mare to stallion ration was high in favor of a filly being born so there were more mares than stallions so a stallion had the option of having more than one mare as a mate they could form a herd with more than one mare normally when that happens it’s the mares who approach the stallion in question and ask if he wanted to join them in the formation of a herd. My mare and I were going to ask him if he would like to form a herd with us but they died before we could and it broke my heart to lose my lover and potential lover.” I said. Getting a nod from Storm Wing. “That it is ma’am.” She said in a quiet voice.

“Anyway Storm the tent is open now your more then welcome to go for your own moment alone to preen.” I said with a small smile getting a nod of thanks as she goes and does just that.

While Storm Chaser was indisposed I pulled out some of the leftovers and reheated them. “Alright everypony Soups on Hot and ready to eat. Its leftovers but still good.” I said.

Daisy and Misty got a bowl as I waited to speak to Storm Chaser. Five minutes later my friend came out of the tent also out of her armor I couldn’t help it but Smile. “You know I don’t think I’ve seen you out of that armor in sometime kind of miss my spotter.” I said getting a smile from her.

“Those were difficult days weren't they CJ?” Storm said. “That they were my friend that they were get yourself something to eat Storm chow’s up. I replied.

Misty and Daisy paused in there eating to look at the unarmored Storm Chaser. I giggled at their reactions.

“My my my. If I didn’t know better I’d say they never seen an unarmored Pegasus before well a mare that is.” I said with a giggle getting a giggle from Storm as well.

“In my defence Pegasi mares are exsodic around these parts only pegasi Ive ever met were stallions.” Misty said.

“Really I said and how many pegasi have you met besides me, Storm and Calamity. I asked.

“Well there is Radar in Friendship city then Calamity then you two.” Misty replied.

“Ah. so you met a total of four pegasi two mares and two stallions.” I said getting a nod from Misty.
“Same here but I’ve only met three.” Daisy said.

“Well we are not much different from you sept we don’t have a horn and we have wings besides that we are like any other mare.” I said.

“That maybe ma’am but how many mares have such a quick on switch.” Daisy asked.

Storm and I couldn’t help but laugh. “Then you have no clue I could say something but it’s not my place and wouldn’t be fare to the mare in question.” I said getting a blush from Misty.

Daisy looked at Misty. “Oh come on deary I guess it’s only fair you did ask a personal question of are pegasi mares about their wings.” Daisy said.

Misty’s face turned even redder and she squeaked for a moment. “Unicorn horns are sensitive and can be used to pleasure another mare much in the same way as a stallion would but without the end result and from what I have heard never experienced somepony playing or messing with my horn.” Misty squeaked. Daisy laughed.

“Well Daisy I know that Earth pony mares are pretty sensitive around the flank and the cutie marks in particular.” I said with a snicker at the squeak and the blush that got out of her.

“Oh come on girls it’s not like we don’t have things we wouldn’t talk about matter of fact this kind of is normal for me and Storm familiar it’s mare talk mares getting together and talking about things we wouldn’t share with a stallion or at least a stallion who wouldn’t already know about surtan area’s on a mare of their tribe.” I said.

Both Misty and Daisy sighed. “Is it also usual to share intimate details or stories of first times or something?” Daisy asked getting a nod from me. “Well at least amongst good friends at least.” I said.

“I never had anypony.” Misty said with a blush.

“Well there is still plenty of time for you Misty you're still young.” I said.

“Ma’am if it wasn’t for you two being in stasis for two centuries we would be the around the same age.” Misty said. That got me to pause for a moment then burst into a fit of giggles.

One nice thing about wearing my armor sure helps me keep my coat clean.” I said getting some weird looks.

“How many white coated mares do you see in the wasteland can be hard to stay clean out here water that isn’t irritated is to precious to waste on things like bathing unless you have a water talisman to supply fresh clean water with no problems but not everyplace will have such luxuries as a water talisman.” I said with a sigh.

“Yeah we are use to being able to at least shower or bath every day not having access to a hot shower isn’t normal for us except when we are in the field or in battle then we could have many days before a shower is available to us.” Storm said.

“Anyway girls time to turn in Misty keep watch wake up Storm in 5 hours or so let’s get some sleep.” I said getting nods from the others as Misty took up a watch position Storm and I went into our tent she had set up two one for each pair.

“You know Storm I couldn’t help but notice that you were truly checking me out earlier are you that lonely?” I asked.

“I could say the same to you.” Storm replied with a smirk.

“Yes Storm I have not been with a pony in well over a year. I have to admit I am lonely. Have been for awhile.” I said sadly.

“I know Cj I’m only teasing I also know you want foals so do I.” Storm replied.

“Well lets hope we can find some mates that we can be comfortable with. That there is going to be the major thing so far we have not met any stallions that I would say are attractive except maybe one.” I said.

“Talking about Calamity?” Storm asked getting a nod from me.

“Only problem with that I have a feeling he already likes or has eyes on a mare already.” I said getting a nod from Storm.

“True but which one do you think it is Littlepip or Velvet?” Storm asked.

“Most likely its Velvet. Littlepip comes across as being into mares.” I said.

“Oh why you say that?” Storm asked.

“Like you didn’t know that she was checking both of us out.” I said getting an arched eyebrow from Storm. “I hadn’t noticed.” Storm said.

“Thing is Littlepip has a crush on Velvet but that doesn’t stop her from looking. I think she would look even if she was with Velvet.” I said.
“Anyway I’ll admit it you have caught my eye from time to time Storm If it does happen I will not object to it but that will have to be our choice I do not want to force a relationship on you that we both could or would regret we are close friends and I have considered you a sister in fact your the only family I have left even if we are not related.” I said pulling Storm into a hug she returned it with equal strength.

“I’m here for you CJ and I have to say I have felt the same we are a family the unit is our family. We have to support each other and help each other should love come into play between us I will not refuse it but keep in mind we both wish to have foals we are young at heart but older than any stallion out there or mare for that matter.” Storm said getting a nod from me.

“Sleep well my friend.” I said after breaking the hug to put on my armor as Storm did the same. “You too Cj.” Storm replied we layed down to sleep falling to sleep quickly.

“Good Morning.” I said to Daisy when she came out of the tent she shared with Misty.

“Good Morning.” She said while yawning. “Sleep well?” I asked getting a nod from her.

“Breakfast is made help yourself.” I said. Daisy got herself a bowl and began to eat a mmmm. Coming from her lips as she ate the Oatmeal I had prepared for them. I couldn’t help but smile.

“You know that has always been a guilty pleasure of mine hearing how much somepony enjoys my cooking. It isn’t everyday I get to cook even simple things like oatmeal but we will need to watch how much we use of some of the food stuffs we have that right there should last us 5 days of meals if stored in the cooling unit and used for breakfast We have pre-war canned foods for lunch and what’s left of dinner last night Until we resupply.” I said getting a nod of understanding.

“Ma’am can I ask you something?” She asked I gave a nod. “Why does this and the other food you have fixed tast so Celestia damn good.” She asked.

“Well I did tell yeah we woke up in a base right?” getting a nod from her “Well the base had a hydroponics bay when the group was revived 17 years ago the systems began to plant and grow fresh vegetables oats and wheat. That stew I made was made with fresh harvested vegetables and other grown food stuffs from carrots to spices and seasonings.” I said getting wide eyed stare from her.

“That would be something the Steel Rangers would want to have hell everypony in the wasteland would give anything to have access to fresh foods only place so far able to provide fresh foods is Friendship City and even they have to be sparse with it and it isn’t easy to acquire the food stuffs.” Daisy said.
MIsty joined us getting herself a bowl and moaned in enjoyment of the food. “Misty can I ask you are you able to harvest the seeds from the hydroponics you brought to Friendship City?” I asked her.

Misty paused set her spoon down with a frown. “No I was never taught how to only the farmers knew how to with any success Friendship is using the seed store that was available when we packed everything I know how to maintain the equipment even plant but other than that no.” She said with a sigh.

“How much seed is there left?” I asked. “Enough I surmise to last a year maybe more, other than that I couldn’t tell you.” She said. I gave her a nod in thanks for the information.

I got up went over and woke Storm up. “Rise and shine sleepy head. We have a wagon to find for Daisy.” I said.

“Oh how good are you with Levitation Misty?” I asked.

“I’m ok why do you ask?” She asked.

“When we find a cart or wagon suitable to convert into a armored wheeled cart for the caravan we will have to strap it down to the tortoise meaning we will need to lift it levitation could be very useful in helping with that process.” I said getting a nod from Misty. Storm walked out got a bowl and ate quietly. After they all ate I stored the food and we got to looking. 15 minutes later Storm had found the best one out of the lot of skywagons that could be converted it was an older model one without the magical enhancements which was perfect for the type of conversion we were going to be doing wouldn’t want the wagon to go boom. So with Misty’s help we secured it to the tortoise. We knew we had to get on the Celestial line to get to Tenpony so when we got on the line we would do the conversion that way Daisy could check out see how easy it would be to pull.

“Alright everypony let’s pack up and head out.” I said with a smile getting smiles from the others.

Another half hour later we had landed about a block from the hub. “Alright ponies we will approach with caution we might run into security ponytrons or automated defences so keep your eyes open.” I said getting nods from each of them. As we made our approach we found evidence that somepony had at least had a run in with the security system none of the doors were open building was still in lockdown I looked at the terminal. Somepony has tried to hack the system Triggering the droid attack. I connected my pipbuck to the terminal and entered my access code lifting the lockdown for 2 hours we entered the building.

“Welcome General Cloud Striker To the Manehattan MoA hub you have been expected you have a message for you on terminal 36 please collect your messages before proceeding.” I looked at my friends in alarm. “General! What the Buck.” I said. Looking at Storm WIng who was just as surprised as I was. I went to the terminal in question inputed my ID and the message began to play.

“Cloudy Joy If you're hearing this then you have awoken from Stasis I hope everything went according to plan and that the base is operational I pushed this through and am promoting you to the rank of General and Storm Wing to the rank of Captain you and Storm are the few loyal pegasi left in the Equestrian Military the rest abandoned Equestria to save their own hides and damn the rest of ponykind. I know you and the ponies under your command wouldn’t abandon like the rest of them Your Orders are to protect and help rebuild Equestria as you know Keep them safe help them recover and help Equestria recover. Why did it have to come to this CJ. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike why the hell did this have to happen Canterlots a complete loss The Littlehorn agent was unleashed inside the Shield the Princesses raised to protect Canterlot for evacuation into the stable. Do not know if they survived or not the shield fell 5 hours ago the fallout has spread Stables are sealed I helped all I could. I’m being hunted even as we speak This Enclave has a price on my head and hired a Merc to bring them me to them Head not need to be attached. The Equipment and gear designated for the base has been stored in the Armory Vault collect it and may Celestia and Luna guide and protect you Cloud Striker Storm WIng you are what is left of the MAW besides myself Stay loyal my friend protect the our citizens help them recover help Equestria recover May Celestia and Luna have mercy on our souls This is Rainbow Dash Ministry mare Signing off.” and with that Rainbow’s last message to me was finished her last orders and my new responsibilities a compartment popped open next to the Terminal.

Inside was my rank insignia and a master key Celestial tier clearance I took both with care and held them close I had tears in my eyes and I sat heavily on my flank. Storm Wing also had something in there her captain’s bars and insignia. Then she pulled me into a tight hug. We wept for a good 15 minutes. I accessing the terminal again I reset the timer to cover the time we used up by the our crying and hearing the message we brought in the Tortoise and Supply wagon we went to the Vault mentioned in Rainbows Message to me. I slid the card in the Vault opened and I just stared. Inside the vault was not just what the manifest said would be there but other equipment 100 Power Armor Mk 2 color Midnight blue with varying weapons another small arsonal and material for the bases manufacturing capabilities and the parts for the raptor training manuals on how to operate a raptor in case things didn’t go accordingly. So that we could train ponies we find to operate and even crew the raptor. “Storm WIng am I dreaming.” I said there was heavy emotion in my voice.

“Ma’am if you're Dreaming So am I.” She said and punched me in the shoulder.

“Owh.” Ok not dreaming. “Rainbow must have had all this ready to be shipped wanting it to all go out at the same time now we have it. We can bring the base to full operation provided we get the personnel.” I said getting a nod from Storm Wing.

“Wait a moment Are you telling me not only is the place you woke up in operational but there is more to it then what you told us.” Daisy said.

I sighed. “Yes Daisy the base is operational it was a built in secret only 6 ponies ever knew it even existed. Your looking at Two of them. Another was the pony in the message the other three where Princesses Celestia Luna and the contractor who built the base. It isn’t just a base either it’s a stable to be precise a ministry of awesome black ops and reconnaissance base. The base has two functions that were approved by the princesses. The 200 ponies I mentioned that didn’t make it were the crew and engineers that that built said raptor that would go on to crew the ship itself upon completion unfortunately it is missing two key components that we now have. No record of this base has was ever recorded to Equestria itself the base doesn’t exist. That is just the outer layer of defence this base has It also has around 3 thousand automatic defence turrets protecting the entrances for this stable unlike any others was designed to have a hangar entrance to launch and land Raptor and thunderheads for repairs and or if need be build them.” again I paused to move some heavy crates into the tortoise the armors had already been loaded munitions stored and put away pipbucks placed in the main cabin. I sighed. “I will not hide this from you anymore Daisy this base can not fall into the hooves of the steel rangers or anypony who would abuse its knowledge and wealth for their own gains or quests for power. Can you see why I never mentioned this to you I have gotten to know you and have a good grasp of your character. You are willing to help and want to help others probably why you run this caravan with your husband it was the only real way you could help at least a little. Then you met me and Storm and we have reawakened that fire in your very soul to want to do more to fulfill the oath you took when you became a knight.I can see it in your eyes Daisy you want to join Me and Storm Wing in our mission to help Equestria probably now more than ever. Also At the base I have Two Steel Ranger armors. I was to have a complete complement of Steel Rangers and only had two that were cleared for the base at the time of its completion. I couldn’t read the expression on her face but the next thing I knew I was tackled in a fierce hug with a crying mare ontop of me.

“I do so want to join you to help Equestria as my Oath demanded.” She said between sobs.

“You have no idea how hard it has been for me to stand by and not be able to help the way I want to be able to. Well I’m sure you can understand you will be giving my life meaning and a purpose again I’ve raised my fillys to be good mares to be helpful to others they make armor for ponies that's their lot in life to be traders and merchants They know I have never been truly happy guarding the caravan runs. I did it mainly because I didn’t want to lose the stallion I loved the father of my foal’s now that he is gone I really didn’t know what to do I failed to protect the stallion I loved and had foals with I do not want to fail my oath too. I will of course speak with my fillys about this as you suggested but No pony is going to get this information from me that you shared just now I am under your command General.” She said with Determination.

“Now that is what I like to see the light that resides in us all the fire of pride and determination I will accept you provided your fillies are awhere that you wish to turn the reins so to speak of the caravan to them and I will assist them with means of defending it. I shall give them Weapons to arm their guards ammunition for said weapons and should need be train ponies to be guards for the caravan itself. Although that could take a little bit of time to accomplish we need to rebuild the unit. That means we need more ponies that feel the same way we do.” I said getting a nod from her.

“Is everything alright out there I heard a thud and some sobbing?” Came Storm Wings voice.

“Everything's alright Captain Just getting tackled by Daisy is all she has that fire burning in her that you and I do I know she’s more than likely going to join us now more than ever now.” I said.

“Why you say that General?” She know’s Storm. She heard you and I talking and kind of cornered me. You know how much I hate some orders but I know the importance of the base is We both have grown to trust Misty and Daisy.” I said.

“Alright Ma’am How much is left we are running out of storage the armors alone took most of the forward compartment Ma’am along with the ammunition and other weapons for the armors we have no storage space left in the forward compartment very well we will need to build the caravan wagon so we can free the needed room in the supply wagon to store the rest of the equipment I will not leave it behind to be pilfered by anypony able to truly hack that terminal.” I said.

I walked over to one of the terminals in the area that was tied into the mainframe. I logged in called up the commands. I noticed voice commands. “Computer recognize General Cloud Striker.” I said getting a prompt. “Confirmed.” Reinstate lockdown and activate the Defencive emplacements around the entrance to this chamber Give an audio alert to any breach into this facility. Armor Piercing ammo authorized deadly force is authorized This chamber I and my team are in is not to be breached by unauthorized personnel. Pipbuck registration General Cloud Striker. Captain Storm Wing more tags to be registered in 5 minutes. Confirm.” I said. “Confirmed Registration of Pipbuck’s for General Cloud Striker and Captain Storm WIng awaiting for additional tag registration.” The computer said. I walked over to the box with the pipbucks in it opened it pulled two unwrapped Delta pipbucks pulled the protective wrap off signaled for Daisy and Misty to sit before me they did I opened the pipbucks motioned for their left foreleg and placed them there and activated them. Waited for the pipbucks to finish booting up. “Computer register Corporal Misty Sparks and Knight Daisy Streaks pipbucks as authorized personnel.” I said. “Registration confirmed Welcome to the MoA Corporal Misty Sparks Knight Daisy Streaks.” The computer said. “Computer General Cloud Striker, Captain Storm WIng, Corporal Misty Sparks and Knight Daisy Streaks are permitted to leave and enter this chamber no other personnel are authorised should any other be with them without authorisation granted by me are hostile and are to be eliminated. No exceptions Corporal Misty and Knight Daisy are not to be harmed avoid elimination protocol should there not be a clear shot at the unauthorized personnel until a clear shot can be attained confirm directive.” I said.

“Confirmed and will be carried out no unauthorized personnel unless specified by you are to enter the Armory Vault No exceptions Armor Piercing ammunition has been Authorized use of deadly force has been authorized audio alert of security breach to this facility active no breach detected. All security measures activated armor piercing ammo loaded. Lockdown engaged Warning warning warning Facility is on lockdown unauthorized will be dealt with Lethal force authorized armor piercing ammunition authorized, Authorized personnel pipbuck tags registered no further audio warning.” The computer confirmed. With that said and done I looked at everypony and Smiled. “That should by us some time let’s get to work oh and those are your pipbucks you should notice the difference now Misty. Daisy that pipbuck will interface with the power ranger armor you will be getting when we get to base. We still have to stop at Tenpony we have that appointment with him Storm so let’s get this wagon built.” I said they each saluted.

Misty quickly with the help of both me and Storm got the wagon down and flipped over so I can check its balance for the best location for to place the wheels and axle finding it I went to work welding the axle supports in place and sliding the axle into place and will then I placed the resting supports and breaks that can be locked into place to prevent the wagon from rolling away. After everything was secured and wouldn’t go anywhere we flipped the wagon onto its wheels than began to apply the armor plating we gathered completing the wagon I wiped the sweat from my brow. “We will need to check and see if we can fly it not sure where we can access the celestial line The lunar line is not to far from here we can always go to they cross each other.” I said. “Lets see what Dj Pon3 has on the news tonight.” I said as I turn my pipbucks radio to Dj Pon3’s station.
“Good evening, everypony! This is your humble host, DJ Pon3, master of the airwaves. And it’s just about time for me to turn in. But first, the news! Looks like our wasteland crusader from Stable Two is an equal-opportunity savior. From the reports I’m getting, she and her companions helped out a bunch of raiders up at Shattered Hoof from being enslaved and decimated by an attacking slaver army. And then, because you can’t have a cupcake without icing, she killed a dragon! Don’t know if I agree with you on this one, kid. Saving raiders? Some monsters deserve to be enslaved.”

That report got all of our ears to perk up at that report. “Hmmm. So Littlepip and her little group took out a dragon Impressive.” I said. “I’m going to need to get the details next time I see her. That could not have been easy for them to do.” I said.

“Why is that impressive.” Misty asked getting stares from the three of us.

“Misty think of it a dragon is big has hard scales that is pretty much resistant to most ammunition even your shotguns couldn't penetrate its scales my 50 cal can with the right ammo. Normally takes a full wing of 20 pegasi with heavy firepower or one dragon killer raptor to take a dragon out.” I said.

Daisy loaded the new caravan wagon with the caravans goods and we finished packing up the supply wagon the gear and equipment was extensive it was packed tightly so was the tortoise in fact we couldn’t get to the weapons systems for the tortoise. “Wow I hadn’t really take into account just how much equipment was left for us by Rainbow Dash I will never forget her she was my friend and CO.” I said.

“So what do we have to worry about in Manehattan?” I asked.

“Well there are the bloodwings there mutated bats that are really nasty I do not recommend being out after nightfall there nocturnal and are afraid of the light they tend to rest in Dark places during the day. So traveling during the night time is not recommended. They can kill a pony in seconds from a single bite draining them completely dry.” Daisy said.

“Ok night travel is out then anything else we should be aware of?” I asked.

“Well I heard that manticores have been seen around Manehattan. I do not know if that is true or not but want to be prepared for anything.” Daisy said.

“Alright we will rest here and get a start tomorrow we will get to Tenpony after that we can head for the base and I do not care we will fly there so we can offload and resupply.” I said.

Everypony nodded in agreement We had a ate the rest of the stew and went to bed.

When we awoke in the morning we ate some more oatmeal hitched up supply wagon was again hooked to the tortoise since we were going to hoof it to the Lunar line then switch to the Celestia when they intersected. We had a goal to achieve get to Tenpony talk with Dj Pon3 Daisy with her Fillies and then make way to offload and resupply.

“Let’s move out.” I said. Walking over to the terminal I lifted the lockdown we left the building at the outside terminal I re engaged the lockdown and changed the security login access ID so only I could access it should we need we need to return. I turned around after logging off and putting the terminal into sleep mode.

We left the MAW hub and headed for the Lunar lines access point took us thirty minutes to make it. Along the way our EFS’s alerted us to hostile targets. Gunfire was heard we came across a group of ponies engaged with raiders It looked like the scavengers got ambushed we assisted driving the raiders off we stopped to make sure they were ok and to offer to assist they refused so we moved on we got onto the lunar line and as we walked. I started to hum a tune to myself Storm Wing started humming along soon enough Daisy and Misty joined in.

I began to sing.

After singing I had a smile on my face under my helmet Daisy and Misty had smiles and I could tell Storm also had one. We could see the Celestial line and our destination. “Alright let’s see if we can fly that caravan wagon up. I’ll hook myself to it Storm assist me we might have to use the double harness that was designed for this old wagon.” I said getting a Nod from Storm.

After hitching myself up I took a running start and took flight the added armor just couldn’t get it off the ground. So i touched down came to a stop Storm was there and hooked herself in Daisy and Misty waited by the tortoise. We both nodded and got a running start and took off we got of the ground so did the wagon. We landed on the Celestia line. “I’ll go get the tortoise and Daisy when we get back get the supply wagon and I’ll get Misty.” I said getting a nod from Storm.

Landing besides Daisy and Misty I disconnected the Supply wagon opened the hatch. “Hop in Daisy I’ll take you up then go back and get Misty Storm will get the Supply wagon.” I said she nodded and did so I closed the hatch hitched up and took off depositing the tortoise and Daisy unhooked and took off again with Storm dropped down hovered over Misty picking her up she let out a startled squeak and froze. “Relax Misty I won’t drop you.” I said as I flew her up to the tortoise I let Misty down and hooked myself into the harness Daisy hooks herself up to the caravan wagon and began to walk we all followed we stopped to eat.
