“War War never changes It’s never easy it’s not fun You see the ponies you love or care for Die before your eyes I have lost everypony I loved, my friends, my family, Ponies I am sworn to protect, I served Under Rainbow Dash I was one of the First of the Air Guard to get to test out the Pegasi Power armor even had a hand in helping Rainbow Dash and Lady Rarity design it the Power Armor Project was to give the Pegasi the same kind of equipment as the Steel Ranger Power Armor. The design of the armor was to have the same protection as the Steel Ranger armor yet be light and agile for a pegasus to wear without causing problems while in flight and still allow them to cloud walk or even us clouds as a means to strike with Air Guard Rangers are sniper teams. Enchantments placed on Weapons and other equipment to lighten the armors overall weight were incorporated into the Design when activated the armor wouldnt way more then a pegasus and still allow them the use of their innate magic Yet be as strong as the best armor protection available that being the Steel Ranger Armor Developed by the Ministry of Wartime Technology Under the direction of AppleJack Apple sister of the Hero Big Macintosh with some help from Applejack for she also realized that we needed good armor as well helped with the Arcane spell matrix that powered the armor giving us E.F.S ( Eyes Forward Sparkle for those of you who might not know what that means.) Stable Tech even helped with the Development with also allowing SATS ( Stable Tech Arcane Targeting Spell. ) to be integrated as well which gave us an advantage in a tough situation after the completion of the armor and subsequent testing of the armor it was incredible how easy it was to move in the armor its onboard medical system was another thing M.W.T. contributed to the project As i was saying I was one of the First in the Air Guard to get the new armor after it passed and was put into production altho when not active or if its spell matrix where to crash the Pegasus in the armor would not be able to move until the armor was brought back online but in such cases there is an emergency release function to allow the pegasus to escape there downed armor.I am Commander Cloud Striker and This is my Story.

Omega Protocols are in effect all Personnel report to Evacuation stations Support and assist in evacuations. I heard over the Com channel also getting cease and desist and recall order from Pegasus command to drop everything and close the up the sky’s Cloudsdial has been destroyed and pegasi were abandoning their posts I refused to run I went to my Evacuation station as directed by Equestria command I was posted to help evacuate command and military personnel in stable 155 My best Friend Storm Wing also stayed behind with me We had a duty to uphold I was proud of my Friend and wing mate for staying behind and not fleeing with her Tail tucked between her legs like so many of are fellow Pegasi. I can understand in a lot of ways why they ran the resistance to pegasi fighting in the war had increased greatly in the last 6 months. Storm Wing and I arrived at our post and begin to assist in strapping and securing things that needed to be secured escorting personnel to their stasis pods. Storm Wing and I were the only pegasi here. Our armored was a Midnight blue color My battle Saddle consisted of one long range Anti Machine rifle .50 cal a Nova Surge rifle as back up and a 7.0 mm minigun. I also had a Missile launcher Storm Wing’s was equipped with Four Nova serge Rifles as well as a missile launcher I believed in taking prisoners if need be I do have an Magic energy pistol but I dislike using it I followed Rainbow Dash in that regard but anyway I’m getting off track. I approached the duty officer and reported that The Equipment has been secured and locked down. ( On a side note I’m glad i was a High ranking officer of this base. ) I will be explain that a little later. The officer saluted me saying Commander Glad to see you Please proceed to your pods we just got word that Manehatten was hit as well as Marapony and Canterlot is under a shield protection getting reported strikes by Zebra missiles evacuation is underway The Princesses are keeping the Shield up to protect and give time to evacuate. “Very well Make sure you get to your pod and make sure everypony is accounted for.” I said.

“Yes Ma’am.” He replied as he saluted me and i Returned the salute.

“Let’s go Storm I hope we won't be in stasis for too long.” I said to my wing mate.

“I know what you mean CJ” she replied with a smirk.

I laughed “Come now Storm you know I prefer to be addressed by call sign when on duty.” I said as i Giggled.

“I Know Cloudy Joy I know but still you're my best friend and commanding officer I hope everything works out in the end but if not Its been an honor to serve with you ma’am.” Storm Chaser said.”

“Same to You my friend.” I replied as she got into her pod that we were placed next to each other.

I watched my friend Enter her stasis pod and getting a good seal I did a few final checks including the Lockers at the end of our capsules For when we exited stasis it they held everything we needed to survive out there including ammo for are weapon loadout we had food and survival and repair kits to maintain our gear and equipment Including Two Delta Class military issued Pipbucks that would link with our armor to work the ground based EFS system our suits EFS was designed with Pegasi in mind so was more suited to air combat then ground the pipbuck would augment the suits EFS system to work with ground as well as giving us a comunication sweet that would allow us to communicate long distances utilizing equestria broadcast towers and allow us to hack into most computer systems should we need it. After confirmation that all personnel were in stasis I placed the facility in lockdown placing my pod for a 1 minute delay to make sure seal was good climbed into my pod and sighed in relief when i got the confirmation of a clean seal. Little did I know at the time that I would be in stasis for 200 years or that I would one of two who survived out of 200 personnel.
