Chapter 12: Stargazing

Stargazing

Rainbow and I were thinking about something to do at night. We were in her living room, white all over and fluffy too.

"How about......bowling?" I said.

"Nah. Too late," She replied.

"I know! Stargazing." She smiled.

"Okay." We walked outside and slowly descended to the ground, wings out. We touched ground and were about to begin walking when...

"Good Evening, Rainbow Dash." We turned to see Princess Luna of all ponies looking at us. "Who's your friend?"

"I'm Green. Nice to meet you, Luna," I said.

"How did you know I like formal greetings? We've never met."

"Twilight told me everything, Princess of the Night." Rainbow chuckled. "Anyway, I'm actually Rainbow's Boyfriend." Luna smiled.

"Congratulations. I wish you two the best. I meant to ask...Where are you off to at this late hour?"

"We're going stargazing," I said. Luna smiled.

"May I join you?" Rainbow shrugged. I nodded. "Thank you." We began to walk.

"I assume being royal doesn't give you any time for stargazing?" I asked.

"Usually, I can stargaze, but I feel it's better to stargaze in calm towns, not Canterlot, towns like Ponyville. I don't know why. It's just so...peaceful."

"I was going to say more awesome," Rainbow replied. Luna laughed. I kissed Rainbow.

"Well I find it calm, thank you. It clears my mind of all the Twilight Saga and Justin Beiber hate," I said. They laughed.

"Agreed, their terrible," Rainbow said.

"Hello there." We looked down to see Pipsqueak looking up at us. "Where are you three headed, then?" He asked.

"Stargazing," I answered.

"Can I come?" He asked.

"Sure. Follow us," Rainbow said as we continued to trot around Ponyville. Though not as lively as Canterlot, I preferred it that way. The lights in the windows and the colorful architecture gave a sense of peace only Ponyville can provide.

"How about here?" I pointed to a grassy hill overlooking a star-filled sky.

"Sure," Dashie said. We walked over and laid down. "Makes you wanna take a nap, but gets you to stay awake by having a lot of stars."

"That's deep," I said. She then came up and kissed me. After that, we watched the night sky for a long while before we had to depart to go home for sleep. We said our goodbyes, went our separate ways and went back home. It was relaxing to spend time just looking at the stars.
