A Universal Lesson
The smell of autumn coming to an end. The school year has brought us all into a state of hating it so much right now, but fillies of Ponyville are always excited to go to school. Cherilee always makes class fun without being so dull and boring like many teachers before her. The students aren't much different. They are as lively as always. Today being special has gotten them rustled up for a guest appearance.
"Settle down, my little ponies. Now, we have two guests today to help explain the solar system. Give a big welcome to Twilight and Green!" said Cherilee. Tiara, Spoon, Twist, Pipsqueak, Snips and Snails and The CMC looked to the door. It opened to Twilight walking in before...
"Hey kids, who's ready for a planetary adventure?" I shouted as I also walked in, carrying a box on my back.
"Yes...We are here to teach you about the planets as Cherilee said," Twilight replied. Everypony was interested, except Tiara and Spoon.
"It just so happens I have a song for this to make learning the planets not so dull, right Twilight?" I said, bumping her for a response.
"Of course!" she said. "Gather round and we will begin." Music started playing. It sounded like this:
Here's how it went:
The Sun's a hot star,
Mercury's hot, too.
Venus is the brightest,
Earth's home to me and you.
Mars is the red one,
And Jupiter's really wide.
Saturn's got those icy rings,
And Uranus spins on its side.
Neptune's really windy,
And Pluto's really small.
Well we wanted to name the planets,
And now we've named them all.
"Now it's your turn," said Twilight.
"Alright, Twi," responded Applebloom.
"No sweat," said Scootaloo as Tiara and Spoon went "pff."
"Let's do it," I said as the Music started up again.
The Sun's a hot star,
Mercury's hot, too.
Venus is the brightest,
Earth's home to me and you.
Mars is the red one,
And Jupiter's really wide.
Saturn's got those icy rings,
And Uranus spins on its side.
Neptune's really windy,
And Pluto's really small.
Well we wanted to name the planets,
And now we've named them all.
"Though that was...not that cool, it wasn't boring," said Tiara.
"Yeah, Not that boring," said Spoon.
"Where did you hear this song?" asked Snips.
"I remembered it from a show I watched when I was your age," I replied.
"That was fun," said Snails.
"Not as awesome as Rainbow Dash, but still cool," said Scootaloo.
"It just so happens I'm her boyfriend, so I'll try to live up to her 'Awesomeness'," I said. Scootaloo moved closer to me and whispered "AWESOME" in my ear.
"But, were not even done yet. Follow us!" Twilight said as we all went outside to see Pinkie bouncing around.
"This can't be good," said Tiara. Pinkie suddenly appeared behind her.
"I totally promise this will be totally fun!" she shouted as she and Spoon leaped in the air and landed in their spots. Spoon simply made a "she's insane" face and looked in front. The three of us got ready as different music played:

It went like this:
Yakko: Everybody lives on a street in a city
Or a village or a town for what it's worth.
And they're all inside a country which is part of a continent
That sits upon a planet known as Earth.
And the Earth is a ball full of oceans and some mountains
Which is out there spinning silently in space.
And living on that Earth are the plants and the animals
And also the entire human race.
It's a great big universe
And we're all really puny
We're just tiny little specks
About the size of Mickey Rooney.
It's big and black and inky
And we are small and dinky
It's a big universe and we're not.
And we're part of a vast interplanetary system
Stretching seven hundred billion miles long.
With nine planets and a sun; we think the Earth's the only one
That has life on it, although we could be wrong.
Across the interstellar voids are a billion asteroids
Including meteors and Halley's Comet too.
And there's over fifty moons floating out there like balloons
In a panoramic trillion-mile view.
And still it's all a speck amid a hundred billion stars
In a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
It's sixty thousand trillion miles from one end to the other
And still that's just a fraction of the way.
'Cause there's a hundred billion galaxies that stretch across the sky
Filled with constellations, planets, moons and stars.
And still the universe extends to a place that never ends
Which is maybe just inside a little jar!
It's a great big universe
And we're all really puny
We're just tiny little specks
About the size of Mickey Rooney.
* Though we don't know how it got here
* We're an important part here
* It's a big universe and it's ours!
"Long, but cool," said Scootaloo.
"Very nice indeed," Twilight said, sounding like the Princesses.
"If you would like to ask a question, feel free," I said as Pipsqueak, Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle gathered around me. "Wait...uh...Crusaders? I have something for you," I said as I gave Applebloom a flyer. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle gathered around. Applebloom read it aloud:
"Having trouble finding your special talent?" They nodded. "Come to the Talent Show in Ponyville Square this........as it will be a little different than other talent shows because it will help find your talent. Crusaders, This is a chance to find our talents!" Applebloom said as they giggled in delight. "Thanks, Green," they said.
"It was nothing," I replied.
"That was very nice of you, Green," said Twilight. I tried not to blush, but it failed.
Ding-Dong!
"All right, My little ponies, say thank you to our guests," Cherilee said as they all thanked us. They then all headed back in class, the CMC more excited than ever. I laughed.
"What's so funny?" Twilight asked. I hopped into the air and started to fly.
"Come to the Talent Show to find out," I said, taking off for home. "Now it....begins."
DUN DUN DUN!
