Double posties!

We started walking down the pathway, only for a familiar silhouette to begin following us, getting closer as we progressed. The silhouette then paused, as if confused “Hello?” The familiar voice said “Who's there?”

“Greetings, Sans.” I called, idly putting Frisk down. “It has been a long time.”

Sans gasped “D-dad? But… you were stuck in the void, this is the wrong timeline, and… wait…” He looked to Toriel before whispering in my ear holes “What is Tori doing here, she never leaves the ruins with Frisk! I’ve seen the timelines, nothing good ever comes of this!”

“I have a plan.” I whispered back. “Do not worry, this is a very new timeline, it will be alright, for now, how about we go get your brother?”

Sans nodded warily “Hope you know what you're doing…” he then looked to Frisk “Wanna go get a bite to eat kid? I think Grillbys is open, and I think that Goat-geaous lady over there needs some new clothes.”

Toriel blushed “Oh my, well aren’t you the flatterer?” She then paused “Hey! You must be the knock knock jokes guy!”

“You three have fun. I will come for you after retrieving Papyrus.” I said, walking into the next area.

The bridge was easy to cross, as the bars were too wide apart to bar entry. I then came upon Sans’s post, to which I saw Papyrus waiting impatiently “Bah, where is that lazybones! I swear, if I, the great Papyrus wasn’t here to check up on him, he’d freeze in the snow.”

“Papyrus, that is no way to talk about your brother.” I called with mock scolding, smiling.

Papyrus gasped and turned to me “Father? Nyeh! It is you! Oh, father I have missed you so!” I simply gave him a warm smile, holding my arms out for a hug. Papyrus tackled me and hugged me eagerly “Nyeheheh! I have missed you so much! Where have you been? Every time I would ask, Sans would go to Grillby’s and get drunk on ketchup!”

“I have been… away, getting help.” I said, carefully picking my words. “The humans are next to no more on the surface, there's a new, much nicer, race above, and they have provided me with the means to help us break the barrier and free everyone.”

Papyrus looked ecstatic “That means I don’t have to hunt humans anymore?! Nyeheheh! I can report to Undyne that my job is complete, without getting her upset or hurting anyone!”

“Tell her to get Alphys and meet us at the Capital, Papyrus, and go with them, we will meet you there.” I instructed.

Papyrus nodded ecstatically and ran to get Undyne, making sure his cape fluttered dramatically as he ran “Nyeheheh!”

Greg then appeared behind me “Gaster, we have a problem.”

“What is it?” I asked.

Greg sighed “From what I gathered, a powerful chaos being named Discord is about to break free on the surface, he is essentially a lv 14 chaos based monster. I don’t know how he’ll effect the monsters, maybe I could fight him, keep him busy until he can be sealed again?”

“Please, do so, I need to ‘break the barrier’ for the monsters down here and revive the Prince correctly, when I am done I will come to assist you… I am now glad I did not truly break it on the surface, only make it keep things out instead, it will buy me time.” I said, a thoughtful frown on my face.

Greg nodded “I can probably handle him, I have fought his female counterpart back in my dimension. Just letting you know, I don’t want any of my new allies people getting hurt from me not doing my due diligence.” he then disappeared again.

I smiled, teleporting to Grillby’s before walking in. I looked around a little, before finding that Sans and Toriel were sitting at a booth with Frisk. They were laughing merrily, Sans telling joke after joke as the entire room positively died laughing. Sans saw me and smiled “Oh, hey dad, what’s up?”

“It is time to go.” I said simply. “It is almost ready, do you know a… shortcut, to the capital, son?”

Sans grinned “Who do you think you’re talking to?” He then had his eye flare to life as we were suddenly standing in the capitals throne room, everyone in the bar and every resident of Snowdin with us. “That good?”

“Yes, thank you son.” I said, smiling. “I sense Asgore in the other room, you all wait here and I will come back when it is time.” I said, turning and walking out of the back of the throne room, before pausing in the archway. “Actually, Frisk, would you like to come?”

Frisk nodded eagerly “Yes! I wanna be there!”

She followed me to the throne room to find Greg talking to Asgore “You’ll want to create as many magical barriers guarding this area as possible, if I fail for whatever reason, we cannot allow Discord to influence your people, he will turn them into creatures of Hate and Anti-Magic, purely caustic beings.”

“Hello, King, Greg.” I said, smiling, leading Frisk here with my red hand held in theirs.

Greg turned to me and smiled with a concerned look on his face “You ready for this, old man? Cause we have a chaos god to fight… and I can’t bring my siblings here to help. He’s still recovering from the last fight.”

“Of course.” I said, before turning to Asgore. “King, may I have the SOULs to help me in this endeavour?” I requested.

Asgore nodded grimly “I guess, we have no need for them, as we are free now…’ he sighed before laughing darkly “All this blood on my hands… for nothing.”

“Think of it this way my king, they will still be used to protect your people.” I said, giving a reassuring smile.

Greg nodded “And I swear, they will not be used in vain.” Greg then was covered in armor from head to toe, seeming to be a weapon in body form, with that same sword in hand.

“Go, I will meet you there when I have the SOULs.” I told Greg.

Greg nodded and disappeared as I heard a massive crash that shook the entire mountain. I frowned, teleporting to the room the SOULs were in, and threw my arm forward, the hands without a corresponding SOUL flying forward and taking one the same color as the circle in their center, before bringing the SOULs back to me, making me glow.

When the glow had faded, I felt… stronger, conjuring a mirror to examine myself in.

Flowey then came up through the ground “Well? Come on, I gotta help fight this Discord guy, right?”

“I did not forget about you, prince.” I said, concentrating. The SOULs around my form dimmed for a second, before glowing brighter than ever, a rainbow colored SOUL appearing in between my hands.

“Here, this should give you almost as much power as I currently have, it is all I could spare without crippling the both of us in the fight, take on your first hyperdeath form with this.” I told the Flower, handing the SOUL to him.

Flowey sent out a vine tendril and grabbed it as he glowed before becoming his hyperdeath self “Ah, feels good to have this without having to fight Frisk.” He then smiled at Frisk “I guess you get the best of both worlds, ey, buddy?”

“Enough talk, we need to take down a chaos being.” I said, turning to Frisk. “You stay here and help keep the monsters stay DETERMINED, alright?”

Frisk nodded and ran back towards the monsters as a second crash was heard, the mountain shaking even harder as I heard an unnatural cry of bloodthirsty rage. And a voice rung in my mind “YOU SHALL NOT HARM THESE PEOPLE! THEY HATH SUFFERED ENOUGH!

“We need to go help him, now.” I stressed, snapping my fingers to teleport us outside, what we saw was a series of burning craters in the mountainside from which the barrier could be seen, and a massive armored Greg , his own body almost half the size of the mountain, was fighting to keep Discord at bay, Fighting for the monsters as he let loose another bloodcurdling roar. “I shall leave naught but dust as thy remains, cur!” He said as he swung his sword at an equally massive Discord.

“It appears our… current size is inadequate for this battle.” I commented, turning to Asriel. “Shall we make this a more… even, battle?”

Asriel nodded before he began to grow larger and larger, eventually matching Greg and Discords size, Greg looked to Asriel “Young prince, do not look into his eyes, he can turn your nature against itself!”

Asriel grunted an affirmative before summoning his chaos sabers and engaging in the battle.

I smirked as I grew to match the others, summoning my hands and staying back. I sent the yellow one forward, it firing off multiple yellow blasts at the chaos beast while he was occupied with my allies.

Discord laughed as he looked to me, the blasts stopping in mid air before turning and returning to me at high speed.

I narrowed my sockets, throwing my hand to the side, the green hand taking that as its cue to summon it’s shield around me, the blasts dissipating harmlessly against it.

Greg held out his hand to Asriel “Care for a tag team attack?”

Asriel nodded “Let’s do it.”

Greg then disappeared with Asriel, appearing right behind Discord as they slashed out with their swords, the two of them dealing MASSIVE damage to the chaos being. “Gaaaaahhhhh!” Discord then slashed out at them with his eagle talons, only for them to not be there as they reappeared at my side.

Greg sighed “I think I’m going to have to finish this… this is going to really hurt...” He then let black tendrils come out of the back of his armor as he went behind Discord again, grabbing him with them and wrapping him up in them until he was wrapped up in an orb of black antimagic energy. The orb then began to shrink, until he was his normal size inside the orb. “Girls! Get the elements!”

Just then, there was a massive explosion of rainbow colored energy as Discord, still being restrained by the slendrils, was turned to stone. Greg then released him and fell to his knees as the harmonic energy washed over him, causing him to cry out in pain as the harmonic energies burned him.

I reacted quickly, sending my hands to him to absorb the harmonic energy from Greg.

Greg shuddered as the pain wracked his body and the armor fell off of him, smoking and melting into his shadow “Guh… I tell ya, being a being who is based in negative emotions does not make harmonic energy feel good…”

Asriel looked to Greg in confusion “You are based in negativity? But you have been nothing but benign.”

Greg grinned “It’s because I have determination, my friend, that I do not submit to my instincts to harvest hatred and fear. You should see me when someone hurts my siblings.”

“Excuse me, but I believe that the ponies are getting… nervous about our current size, we should continue this conversation in our smaller forms.” I commented calmly.

Greg and Asriel nodded, Greg looking quite relieved to get smaller. As he shrunk, his under armour morphed back into his default clothing. He then looked to Mt. Ebott “Think we should let them know it’s safe now?”

“It would be wise.” I said, now in my ‘normal’ instead of ‘god’ form. “Besides, you have not yet met Undyne and Alphys, correct?”

Greg nodded “Yeah, I haven’t… Guh, anyone have an unused building, or archway? I need to make a gateway from here to the Deer kingdom, so my wife can handle the diplomatic stuff, luckily Asgore was understanding that I am more the military side of our government.”

“I am sure that you can use something from the RUINs, I imagine its occupants will not be living there much longer.” I said, thinking. “Maybe the first archway where the humans truly entered the Underground?”

Greg nodded “Better idea than what I was thinking. I was going to use a doorway somewhere, maybe Toriels old place.” He then held out his hands to us “Wanna take a shortcut?”

“We should be getting to the monsters, we will meet you in the throne room after you are done making the portal.” I said, idly noticing Asriel was back to his child form.

Greg nodded and was gone in an instant, us now in the throne room, seemingly taken to there by Greg while he was on his way over to the RUINs. I rolled the pinpricks of light that served as my eyes, walking over to Frisk, Asgore and Toriel.

“The situation has been handled.” I told them.

Asgore smiled in relief at seeing us, and even more when he heard our news, he then saw Asriel “S-son? Is that you?”

Toriel looked to Asriel as well, seeming to be so awestruck that she just stood there crying.

Ariel smiled weakly “H-hi mom, hi dad…”

Asgore hugged him tight before breaking down crying “H-how? I saw you die!”

Toriel joined the hug, not even caring about Asgore being there. “I don’t care how it’s possible, I just care that your back with us!”

Frisk then smiled sadly as she looked to me, before she started to sneak away. Curious, I left the family to their happy moment, following Frisk. “You know.” I started conversationally. “There is one more person left to SAVE, if you wish.”

She looked to me curiously “Wh-who? I don’t remember anyone else…” She then looked to me “I don’t think Sans would want me around the other monsters, not with Chara still inside me. It gets hard… hearing her all the time...”

“I can… restore Chara to a previous state.” I started carefully. “But I will need to take some of your DETERMINATION to do so, since Chara is currently attached to your SOUL.”

Frisk looked to me uncertainly “H-how will I know that she won’t try to kill the non-monsters… she was always really protective of them…”

“I will be taking her LV, she will be harmless.” I said. “That is, if she proves to be… untrustworthy, I will only resort to that if taking away the corruption the void has done to her does not work first.”

Frisk nodded “O-ok… do it. I don’t care if it hurts or not. Toriel deserves her children back.”

“This may feel like you are being ripped in two.” I said, summoning the seven hands around Frisk. “Please, attempt not to scream, I do not wish to cause a scene.”

Frisk nodded and I took this as my cue to have the seven hands send ethereal cables the same color as the circle in the center, wrapping around Frisk, and started pulling.

Frisk grunted in pain, but did not scream, it seemed that every drop of determination in her body was being used to help me with this, as if she was dedicating her entire being to saving Chara… this child really is too pure.

I let out a grunt of effort as Frisk flew off to the right, a familiar form flying off to the left, the two crashing into the wall on opposite ends of the room, bringing everyone’s attention to us.

As Frisk coughed from the dust kicked up by her collision, she looked to the wall opposite her and saw… Chara Dreemur.

Chara smiled sadly as she looked to me “I see you removed my hate? You do know that that and my determination was most of what held me together, yeah?”

“You might want to check your SOUL.” I commented, smirking.

Chara looked to her Soul, and saw that it was a light red, not quite pink, but still lighter than Frisks usual blood red of Determination. “Huh… will you look at that…” She then looked to Frisk, and seemed to instantly be overtaken with a feeling of guilt.

I saw where she was looking, taking a glance at Frisk, sending the green hand to help her up. “It was thanks to her… generous donation of DETERMINATION that you may exist without HATE in you, princess.”

Chara chuckled “You know, I always hated being called that, made me feel kind of stuck up, you know? Still… I wonder if Mom and Dad would still accept me? Do I even still count?”

“Well, how about we find out?” I suggested, picking Chara up, their new body weak from just being created, cradling her as I walked towards the trio of goat monsters.

Asgore looked to me and gasped “Ch-chara too? How, Gaster?! How have you managed these absolute miracles?”

“Seven human SOULs is equal to a GOD, my king.” I said, smiling softly. “I simply used that new title to it’s fullest effect.”

It was then that Greg came into the throne room, accompanied by a man in a trench coat with long black hair and green skin, a Deer woman who was stunningly beautiful holding a baby Deer, and a strange creature I did not recognize. Greg smiled and waved to me “Greetings, friends! I have brought some of my people to celebrate your freedom!”
