3rd person Jacob

Jacob and Ethan have been best friends for 6 years and it all started when they met at the US Army boot camp at 21 years old they met in the cafetiere while Jacob was getting picked on by a group of guys, Ethan couldn't stand the sight so he stood up for Jacob only to get a bloody nose and a couple of bruises here and there as Ethan was more of a shoot first ask questions later type of guy. ever since then they where the best of buds, all way's looking out for each others backs and never letting each other down. In boot camp Jacob took up arms in demolition's, while Ethan was rather good with assault rifles both of them made it to the top of there classes in about 17 weeks. After finishing boot camp they did some Army work for the US Army, and 6 years later the 75th Rangers Regiment was looking for 20 new recruit's so Jacob kindly took the liberty of signing them both up thus beginning there 61 day combat leadership course. Once all of there training was done they sate around and did nothing but get to meet everyone in there squad. about 7 weeks after there training it was time for them to take there team of 5 men to go on a mission in Mosul in northern Iraq where the presumed commanding officer for ISIS was hiding. While preparing for the mission Jacob forged a unlikely friendship with Noah one of there squad members but what was so unlikely about this friendship was that they where completely different in every way for example Noah grew up with no father while Jacob grew up without a mother. The two's friendship thrived in the week's they spent together, eventually Ethan began to get closer to Noah getting to know what he told Jacob about himself.

Jacob, Ethan, Tomas, Noah and William was the team that was sent out to kill the commanding officer. Tomas specialized in light machine guns and rocket launchers with his SAW he could mow down infantry, Noah was the eyes above with his 50.cal sniper and his long range training he could take out almost anything, William had a Mk-16 SCAR and a grenade launcher attachment as well as training in grenades and assault rifles which made him perfect for assaulting rooms and taking out light vehicles, Jacob had a bag full of C-4, M18 claymore's and TM-46 anti-tank mines as well as a M16 rifle, Ethan had flash bangs and a HK G36 with extended magazines.

It took 3 weeks to prepare for a simple paradrop into Mosul and because of the lateness of the plan ISIS was ready for them to strike. When they all got on the A400M and they left for there destination which would only take 11 and a half hours. After 11 and 20 minutes the team was prepped for jumping out of the A400M.

"Dude you think you can do this?" Ethan asked with a concerned look on his face for Jacob.

"Yeah man....I got this." Jacob with a VERY worried look on his face

"Well okay.......WE JUMP IN FIVE!"

The minutes passed quickly as the team awaited the instructions from Ethan who was the squad leader. After about five minutes Ethan gave the order to jump at first Jacob was against the idea but knew there was no turning back so he jumped with Noah for reassurance. When the squad landed they had heavy fire from incoming infantry but Tomas made quick work of them allowing the team to enter the south side of the city. At first there was resistance from the local population but the team cared little for there bickering and moved on to a industrial zone located 5 block's north-east, before entering the team was given orders from Ethan.

"Noah and Tomas you take the high ground in the car park on the corner just down the street, William and Jacob your with me." Ethan said with a stern tone. After Ethan gave the orders Noah and Tomas made there way over to the car park while Ethan, Jacob and William made there way into the industrial zone to meet with a American spy that had been hiding out in Mosul for month's now. When Ethan, Jacob and William found the spy they made him tell them where to find there target so they could complete there mission quickly and get out of the city without further disruption.

"Where is he?"

"He is meant to be hiding out in Bab Jadeed a vegetable market to the north-east of here."

"Thank you kindly." Ethan said before turning to William and Jacob

"Okay William go tell Noah and Tomas to meet us at Al Sawaf." Ethan said before William ran off to inform the others.

After a short walk to Al Sawaf Ethan and Jacob set up shop to await the rest of the team before heading to the vegetable market. William was first to arrive followed shortly by Tomas and Noah.

"Okay so we are here." Ethan pointed at a map of Mosul that he found in a draw of a desk.

"And we have to get to here." Ethan then pointed at the vegetable market.

"So what's the plan? head on assault? Flanking maneuver?" Noah asked

"Me and Tomas will take the front to try and draw out as many as possible while Jacob and William take the back ally and blow a hole in the wall at the back of the market and Noah uses the High Ground from the hotel complex across the street to provide support." Ethan giving the team there orders. Before they went Jacob wanted to talk to Noah and Ethan and make sure that he would get out alive.

"Ethan, Noah promise me you guys will make it out I can't stand to loose more than what I have already lost." Jacob said in a sad tone

"Don't you worry little bro we will make it out wait and see." Ethan said reassuring Jacob. Jacob always hated it when Ethan called him 'little' he was only two months older than him and still he had the gut to do that in front of other people. Noah on the other had was a couple years older than Jacob and Ethan but he still looked up to Ethan for knowledge and wisdom a couple of things Ethan didn't have.

When everyone was in position the assault started with guns blazing from Ethan and Tomas and shots from Noah every now and then. While all this was going down Jacob and William where getting ready to blow the wall with C-4 until they where ambushed by a group that was heading towards Ethan and Tomas.

"ARE YOU DONE WITH THE C-4 YET!?" William asked Jacob in his half panicking state while hiding behind a bunch of pots and barrels.

"NOT YET JUST GIVE ME ANOTHER COUPLE OF SECONDS.......UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BLOWN TO SHREDS!?" Jacob said to William.

"JUST HURRY UP OR ELSE THESE GUY'S ARE GOING TO TARE ME A NEW ONE!"

"THERE WE GOT THIRTY SECONDS LETS GO!" Jacob informed William.

"OKAY.......I SHOOT YOU DUCK AND RUN FOR THE BUILDING OVER THERE!" William told Jacob only for Jacob to give a quick node. There plan went into motion quickly as William shot in random directions to cover Jacob. After Jacob was at the building door he gestured to William to come over while Jacob covers him but it was too late as the C-4 went off killing the enemy squad and William but Jacob couldn't morn over William's death as Tomas and Ethan needed him to flank the position. Jacob was on his way through the market to get to Ethan and Tomas's position when he stumbled upon a desk with documents and file's for the ISIS military. A couple of minute's past as Jacob tried to put as much as he could into his backpack before the shooting stopped. Jacob tried to radio Ethan or Noah but nether of them where responsive. Jacob assumed the worst only for the radio to make a faint cough. It was Ethan he was alive but then Jacob heard what sounded like a railgun from a movie and then silence fell upon the radio once more.

"If you are hearing this then show yourself American! Or we will be forced to kill your friend here!" A Arabic voice came from the radio. Then the sound of a shove from the radio came.

"Jacob if your there its me Noah......please don't come out of hiding.....there going to kill me anyway!" Noah's voice came out of the radio. Jacob thought about it for a second before opening his mouth to talk.

"I'm in the market next to a desk of file's and documents." Jacob said putting a couple claymores down not really thinking about his actions. And that's when he heard the railgun fire again.

"find him and kill him!" The Arabic voice came from the radio once again. Jacob took a couple of seconds to register what had just happened. By this point he was dead there was no way out of this so he just accepted it and at that very moment he could hear the railgun charge up to fire. Then for a second Jacob could feel the power of the railgun hit his back as he fell forward only to meet with air. Jacob opened his eyes to find nothing, it was pitch black there was no wind no nothing he was falling that was the only thing he was sure about. Then after a couple of seconds Jacob sore a light up ahead of him he was falling strait at it. As he got closer and closer he could see white marble flooring? Then with a big THUMP as he was out on the cold white marble tiles.
