The Crystal Heart and the Empire was safe from King Sombra and his tyranny, I was now a princess, everything was alright. But that's what I thought until that fateful day when King Sombra was released by a chain reaction in the Crystal Empire, the Crystal Heart shattering by the cry of Princess Flurry Heart. The only princess who knew of Sombra's imprisonment was Celestia until she told us what she had done to SOmbra after the battle. She had imprisoned him in to gigantic crystals of light and love, temporarily keeping him submitted until Flurry Heart shattered the Heart.

My friends and I did all we could to prepare for the worst but for three-hundred moons nothing happened. But that's when Everything went downhill. King Sombra returned, with a new militia of Shadow Ponies and an alliance with the Changelings. Sombra was certain that he could win this battle and for certain he was right. Celestia and the other princesses were imprisoned one by one. I was the only princess left to watch over the ponies of Equestria. But that was when Sombra dawned the truth of my origins. The truth about my father and who he was really, that I was the off-spring of a demon, leading the life of a pony of light and love, when deep down I was cold-hearted and rotten to the core.

I was in for a rude-awakening.
