Twilight Sparkle is thrown into utter derailment as she, Luna, and Cadence are shocked to find out from Celestia that King Sombra was never killed and was sealed away, far from anyone's reach. But now that he's escaped, he's coming after Twilight and her friends.

Twilight Sparkle, newly crowned as Princess of Friendship, is the main target on his list. She was the pony who thwarted his plans to conquer the Crystal Empire a second time. But for his revenge he plans to take her and make her his queen, bringing her to the dark side. The Mane 6 who are shocked to find out the terrible news are forced into hiding by the princesses and are ordered to stay there until the danger has passed.

Even though the princesses were prepared for the worse, even terrible things were to happen. King Sombra was to kill the Mane six one by one, leaving the elements of harmony useless against him. And the fact that he wanted the Princess of Friendship as his bride was the smart thing, for she was the one able to control it.

Can Twilight and the other Princesses stop King Sombra ? Or will Twilight cease to exist on the forces of good and light ?
