Jibanyan and Twilight's team of Yo-kai all ran towards Felycan, weapons and fists drawn for a battle. They had seen that Twilight was more cat than pony now, and if they didn't act fast, they would be without someone to lead them, and Felycan would possibly even retreat with them all to take over more of Equestria.

Roughraff and Coughkoff teamed up when attacking the giant cat. Roughraff gave Felycan a number of punches in the belly before launching a powerful kick that sent her flying right onto Coughkoff's body. She yelped and hissed as loud as she could and leapt up into the wall, crashing into it and then plummeting to the ground.

"Hurry... up... everyone!" Twilight gritted her teeth and fought back the pain as her tail turned into a thin cat's tail. "I can't fight back this inspiriting curse for much longer!"

The team all nodded and gathered energy for their soultimates one at a time. The first was Noway, who made circular motions with his arms once he had enough power.

"NO WAY THROUGH!" Noway cried out, plopping himself on the ground while pushing both of his arms out and blinding Felycan with a powerful burst of light. The light hypnotized Felycan, and its' sights were only set on him instead of the rest of the team. "I'll draw its' attacks. You finish it off!"

Roughraff clapped both of its' hands together, did a somersault into the air, and slammed them both into Felycan's face, throwing her to a crowd of ponies. The Boss Yo-kai crashed into the wall, fazing through the crowd as she was sent flying.

"You'll stay down if you know what's good for you." Roughraff channeled his soultimate too, turned his back to Felycan, and cast an intimidating glare at her. "STARE DOWN!"

"Uggh..." Felycan looked at Roughraff's gaze and punched the ground with her claw. She was beginning to have seconds thoughts as she let the ability of the move weaken her power. Shaking her head, she growled and bared her fangs at the team. "Enough of this! It's time that I take you all down a peg!"

"Oh nyo you don't!" Jibanyan scurried in as Felycan began to collect her own energy for a soultimate. The small cat leapt onto Felycan's face and gave her two scratches, causing her to scream and throw Jibanyan against Twilight with a swipe of her paw.

Twilight felt Jibanyan crash into her, and she felt herself succumbing to the curse even more now. Her wings and horn had vanished, and she was left using her mouth to direct the team. Claws grew out from her paws, her dialogue had been reduced down to purrs and meows, and her eyes became more cat-like, with the pupils becoming thinner and thinner as the purple part of her eyes engorged to take up the whole socket.

"TWILIGHT! NO!" Whisper watched as the transformation stopped, and Twilight stopped resisting Felycan's power. He watched her stand up, drop the Yo-Kai Watch onto the floor, and walk away to be with the other cats.

"Twilight..." Jibanyan could only watch as Twilight began meowing. She had been lost like the rest of the town, and now the Yo-kai were without someone to guide them. He hung his head and gazed down at his paws, letting a small tear slip. "I couldn't do it..."

"Gyahahahahahahaha! The weak little horse is now gone forever!" Felycan laughed as she watched Twilight embrace her feline side and play with a ball of yarn. "And now that that's taken care off, let's finish off her little comrades!" Felycan finished gathering energy for her soultimate and leapt up high into the air, extending her claws even more as she looked to flatten the Yo-kai that Twilight had befriended. "CAT-ASTROPHIC CAT-APULT!"

Jibanyan could only watch as Felycan flattened all of the Yo-kai that were currently out, turning them all into hovering flames, dicatating that they had been defeated in battle. With its' confidence dampened, he could barely even find the courage to stand up as Buhu, Dimmy, and Manjimutt were dragged back into combat due to the Yo-Kai Watch still being active.

"I'm sorry, Whisper." Jibanyan slowly looked up at Whisper and let another tear slip. "I couldn't save Twilight in time, and nyow she's a cat like all the others." He hung his head once again and didn't even bother to look at the rest of the fight. "Guess I really am the runt of the litter..."

"Jibanyan." Whisper laid his arm on the cat's shoulder. "Sticks, stones, and trucks may break your bones, but names will never hurt you. Who cares what Felycan thinks about you?"

"What do you mean by that?" Jibanyan watched the three remaining Yo-kai get swatted away effortlessly by Felycan. "I wanted to save Twilight before she became a cat, but nyow look at her!" He thrusted both of his arms towards Twilight, who was licking her legs and coughing up hairballs. "What's the point of even fighting anymore?"

"Don't you see? You're letting yourself believe that all hope is lost." Whisper gave Jibanyan a gentle rub on the belly. "Just because Twilight is a cat now, that doesn't mean that Felycan is undefeatable, right?

"Look. The Yo-kai that she made friends with are still fighting hard, even when she's not there to lead them." Whisper showed Buhu, Dimmy, and Manjimutt escape the next wave of attacks and hit Felycan afterwards. "This is your chance to prove that you're the better cat. Sure, she may be bigger, but that doesn't mean she's technically stronger."

"She's a Boss Yo-kai, Whisper. Boss Yo-kai have been undefeated for as long as we've been dead," Jibanyan deadpanned.

"So what about that?! You have heart, Jibanyan." Whisper gave him a getle poke where the heart would be on a regular cat. "You might be small, but you know what they say; the big things always come in the smallest packages," he saw Jibanyan smiling. "Now go out there and de-claw that kitty!"

"Thanks, Whisper." Jibanyan gave a slow nod before he leapt back onto his feet and looked back at Felycan with more confidence. "I'll be sure nyot to fail this time!"

"You're all really starting to annoy me!" Felycan snarled as it felt Manjimutt bite and scratch its' back. It ripped off a piece of flesh, revealing a spot gushing with white slime. "GRRAGH! GET OFF OF ME!" Felycan hurled Manjimutt to the wall and pinned him down, ready to eat him whole. "ANY LAST WORDS, MANGY MUTT?!"

"First of all, it's Manjimutt. All one word and pronounced with a 'J' and an 'I' instead of 'G' and 'Y'." He raised his paw. "And second of all, you're just about done."

"PAWS OF FURY!" Jibanyan leapt up at the bleeding area where Manjimutt had bitten in and focused his attack. He jabbed both of his paws forward at breakneck speeds that were too fast to keep up with, bombarding the cut with lightning-fast scratches, making the giant cat screech out at the top of its' lungs, grab onto its' back, and topple over onto it, with Jibanyan barely dodging out of the way.

"NYOOOOO! HOW COULD I POSSIBLY BE DEFEATED BY SUCH RATS?!" Felycan roared as she started to expel a purple mist. "THIS IS A CATASTROPHE OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!" the mist got bigger and bigger, slowly but surely enveloping Felycan. "UGGH... I'M NOT FELINE TOO GOOD..."

"Enough with the cat puns, Felycan!" Whisper shouted, waving his hands crazily. "Honestly. After all the times I heard Mckraken saying 'squidding', 'calamarity', and such things about 'octopying' the human world, I at least expect you to die with some dignity!"

"THIS... AIN'T... OVER, WHISPER!" Felycan breathed heavily, gnashing out at the ghost. "I MAY HAVE FALLEN, BUT SO SOON SHALL YOUR BELOVED TWILIGHT SPARKLE AND HER KIND. THE KING WILL DESCEND UPON THIS WORLD, AND DRAG THAT LITTLE HORSE INTO ETERNAL SUFFERING, BEFORE DEMOLISHING HER PUNY WORLD! MEEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWW!" The mist got bigger and bigger, taking Felycan entirely.

The purple clouds got bigger and bigger until finally, streams of light poured out from them. There were cracks revealing more light before a massive explosion engulfed Town Hall, doing no structural damage, but flooding the area in a wave of blue energy, causing Jibanyan, Whisper, and the other Yo-kai to shield their faces with their appendages until it died down.

"Is it over?" Jibanyan asked as the air around them grew calmer with the disappearance of Felycan.

"Looks like it." Whisper watched as the inspiring flames vanished off of Twilight Sparkle and the other cat-ified ponies. Slowly but surely, the same lights that changed them before were now turning them back into ponies. "Without Felycan to control the inspirits, all of the ponies in Ponyville are back to being equine instead of feline. No offense, right?"

"Nyone taken. They're their own species. That big bully had nyo right to make them her own kind." Jibanyan crossed her paws and watched everyone come back to their senses once they reverted back to their pony selves.

"Uggh... Where am I?" Rarity scratched her head as she walked away from the nearby scratching post and looked around at the other cats being turned back into ponies. "And why do I smell like tuna?"

"Ohh... I get it now! Felycan! Feline lycanthrope! That's brilliant!" Pinkie Pie bounced on her tail when she returned to normal. "I would've called it a were-kitty, but I'm not the one naming these things here."

"What are you talking about, Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash asked as her wings grew back and she flew over to her.

"Some really big cat Yo-kai turned us all into cute little kitties for the night!" Pinkie threw her arms out, tossing confetti as she did. "Twilight managed to come to the rescue and save us from that CATastrophe." She giggled.

"You know what? I'm done." Whisper flew off into the town. "I cannot deal with these cat jokes any longer! I'm done! I'm glad that Felycan is dead and that we can all move on with our lives!" He mumbled and complained as he went all the way back to Twilight's castle.

Twilight was the last to revert back to being a pony. Her paws turned back into hooves, her tail back to a wide and flowing horse tail, and her face lost the whiskers and replaced the black nose for a muzzle. Her eyes changed back to normal, and her wings and horns grew back after that. She flew down to collect her Yo-Kai Watch and slip it back onto her hoof.

"Everyone?" Twilight Sparkle gathered the attention of all of the townsponies who had changed back as well and were unsure as to what was going on. "In case you don't know what just happened, you were all sleepwalking and dreaming about cat stuff," she lied. "Just get back to your beds and try to get a good night's sleep, alright?"

As much as the other ponies wanted to try and argue with her, they couldn't help but yawn and droop their eyes. They had been awake as cats for a few hours, and all they wanted was to sleep tightly. They slowly walked out with their children behind them, leaving the rest of Twilight's friends and the Yo-kai.

"I had to lie to them. It was the only way they'd be able to understand." Twilight walked up to her friends. "With all of the Yo-kai happenings that have been plaguing Ponyville recently, I didn't want to overstimulate them and put them on edge." She looked down at her Yo-Kai Watch and saw it reflect in the moonlight. "If they knew that invisible creatures were invading our world and taking control of our bodies, they would panic and cause even more of a disaster than the Yo-kai would."

"I can't even remember what happened to us tonight..." Fluttershy rubbed the ground with one of her rear hooves as she looked at Twilight.

"Even so, I don't really agree with this whole lying thing of yours, Twilight." Applejack found her hat buried in a litter box, cleaned it up, and put it back on her head. "Sooner or later, they'll have to know the truth. And then what would you say?"

"Applejack, please. Twilight's been through an awful lot of stuff tonight trying to save us." Rarity walked next to Twilight and gave her a gentle hug. "I can't imagine that things have been easy for the poor dear, either. She looks absolutely dreadful..."

"If I didn't come to your rescue, Felycan would have kept you all as cats forever." Twilight coughed up one last hairball before she made it disappear with her magic. "But even then, not even I could save you from her dark powers. It was all Jibanyan and the Yo-kai who saved us." Twilight used her watch to show all seven of the Yo-kai that had battled against the Boss Yo-kai. "I think you should all give your gratitude towards them."

"Thanks, everyone." Applejack smiled at the Yo-kai.

"You really saved our skins." Rainbow Dash nodded.

"We would have been in a real mess if you hadn't saved us." Fluttershy herself stepped forward to congratulate the Yo-kai.

"Thank you ever so much, dears," said Rarity. "If you ever need a fitting, be sure to find me. It's the least that I can do."

"Yeah! Anyone who saves us from being cat-ponies deserves to have a party in their honour!" Pinkie pulled out her Party Cannon again and fired a barrage of party supplies into the air.

Twilight looked back at Pinkie and her merriment before she came up to Jibanyan. "You especially, Jibanyan," she said. "If you hadn't come in at the last moment and defeated Felycan, I would've been stuck like that for the rest of my life. If there's anything that I can ever do to repay you, just tell me."

"Well... You could give me the power to destroy a truck..." Jibanyan said, causing Twilight's grin to fall in seconds. "I'm just kidding! I'll do that myself. But anyway, I suppose I could give you this." Jibanyan stepped forward, reached into his fur and pulled out a Yo-kai Medal with his picture on it. "If you ever need me in battle, just put this in the Yo-Kai Watch, and I'll be there in nyo time at all!"

"I certainly will, Jibanyan." Twilight sat down and pulled him into a tight hug, with him returning the favour. "Anything for my new friend..."

"Yeah! Friends forever!" Jibanyan purred as Twilight's smile got wider and wider.

"Can we get out of this place now?" Rarity asked, looking around at all of the cat stuff that Felycan had stockpiled. "I want to get back to bed and sleep like a normal pony again. And besides, it is pretty moggy in here..."

"STILL NOT FUNNY!" Whisper cried out from a distance as loud as he could, the noise only being barely audible.

To that, everyone shared a laugh as they began to clean up Town Hall ready for use tomorrow morning. They all carried it out and continued smiling as Jibanyan and the Yo-kai team that Twilight had made were helping out too.

Twilight returned her Yo-Kai Watch to its' normal functionality and looked back at Jibanyan while cleaning away the supplies. As she looked at how he had been bruised, but was still able to carry more than his own weight and help out, she could tell that he was no ordinary Yo-kai. And as she looked at him, she knew, deep down in the corners of her mind, that things were only going to escalate even more from there.

As all of the stuff was cleaned up and Town Hall was locked for the evening, the lights went out, and an eerie black ripple appeared where Felycan had been felled. There was a deep and distorted laugh emanating from it before it faded away into darkness, with Venoct watching from the glass rooftop with his dragon scarf snapping wildly.

"He is coming..." Venoct whispered. "Kyubi was right about one thing. Twilight needs to be ready for this, or it could spell armageddon for our world, the human world, and Equestria..."

Author's Notes:

Just because it's the end of the first Arc of this Yo-Kai Watch crossover, that doesn't mean that it's the end of the story as a whole. Trust me, I have much, MUCH more ideas for future chapters and Yo-kai for Twilight to meet, battle, and befriend.

Oh, and as for Yo-Kai Watch related stuff, they just announced more stuff on Yo-Kai Watch 2 Bony Spirits/Fleshy Souls. Not only will we be seeing the origin of the Yo-Kai Watch, but there will be new story elements, new Yo-kai, and new battle mechanics involved. Further more, there is an ongoing feud between two factions in this new game, led by Arachnus and Toadal Dude.

Unlike the first game, Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls gravitates around Pokemon law in the sense that there are some Yo-kai EXCLUSIVE to one game, while you cannot befriend or find others. For example, Venoct and Kyubi were both befriendable in the first game. In Yo-Kai Watch 2, Venoct is exclusive to Bony Spirits, while Kyubi only appears as a friend in Fleshy Souls. So it's your choice. Do you want Venoct with his endless Soultimates, or do you want Kyubi, who never misses? It's entirely up to you.

In a similar manner, Arachnus is only going to be befriendable in Bony Spirits, while Toadal Dude (I can't stop thinking about how ridiculous and cheesy that name is...) is only befriendable in Fleshy Souls. Just like Venoct and Kyubi, they have their own unique fighting styles and powers, so it might be worth it to see what each of them do and who is the more powerful.

Oh, and here's more for you. Because Felycan is an original Boss Yo-kai, I was debating on whether or not to have this, but I'm gonna put his stats in a later Blog Post, so make sure to check that out, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
