Twilight and Whisper opened up the door to the Town Hall and walked inside, gulping as they heard the noises of cats reverbating through the walls.

The inside of Town Hall was now filled with cat-ified ponies of all different colours, no doubt all of the ponies in the town except for Twilight herself. They were leisurely playing with scratching posts, toy mice, laser pointers, cat nip, and dangling bells. The floors were covered in carpet, and the air stunk of cat urine. There were litter boxes at the end of each walls where the cats could do their business.

Sitting at the very end of the hall, on a throne made out of yarn, was the Boss Yo-kai that had inspirited Twilight's friends. It was much more visible in the light, with its' black fur, gleaming eyes, and sharp claws. It smiled as it watched the cats playing and climbing around the hall, nimbly jumping from one paw-made structure to the next.

"Yes! Yes! That's more like it!" It spoke, again in its' feminine southern accent. "You weren't born to be horsies working on the fields all day. You were truly bred to be feline; cats playing forever in a world where hard work is non-existent!" The giant cat rolled on its' back. "Ahh! I feel like I'm in heaven!"

"YOU!" both Twilight and Whisper shouted at the cat.

"Looks like we have some uninvited guests..." The Boss Yo-kai stood up and walked up to Twilight and Whisper. From a close up angle, the cat was now three times the size of Twilight, and was flashing her a malicious grin. "Why don't you all just shove off? This is our private fun time that you're butting into here."

"Giant cat Yo-kai. You are charged with the kidnapping and unenforced transformation of the ponies of Ponyville." Twilight Sparkle puffed out her chest and showed off her Yo-Kai Watch. "This is your first and only warning. Surrender and release the ponies you've turned into cats, or I'll have to use force."

"Kidnap? I have done nothing of the sort." The cat scoffed and sassily swished its' hips. "I'm simply borrowing these ponies because they spend all of their time working, sobbing, and living a life without rest." It slowly shook its' tail, showing off the cats that it had made. "Look at them all. Playing without a care in the world. And you accuse me of kidnapping? Uggh! Rude."

"You're one to talk, stealing our friends and then getting them to pounce on poor Twilight like that!" Whisper spluttered at the cat.

"Honey, you don't know what it's like to be trapped in a never-ending cycle of work without reward." The cat flicked Whisper away into the wall and watched him splat against it. "Trust me. When I'm done with the both of you, you'll love being cats so much, you'll NEVER want to be ponies or Yo-kai ever again!"

"Is that a threat?" Twilight raised a brow at the giant cat.

"Yes it is, little horsey!" The cat knocked Twilight back too with its' tail. "You're both no match for the master of moggies, the fiendish feline, the champion of cats! You cannot defeat me, Felycan!"

"Diplomacy has failed, Twilight." Whisper recovered from the impact as Twilight got onto her feet again. "You know what to do."

"Understood." Twilight tapped the dome of the Yo-Kai Watch, beginning the transformation. "Yo-Kai Watch EX, activate!"

The Yo-Kai Watch immediately popped out, replacing the bubble dome with the computer screen, and causing the five extra Yo-kai medal slots to appear. The stylus came out as well, which Twilight grabbed with her teeth.

"Battle perimiters met! Summoning Yo-kai!" Twilight pulled out the medals for Buhu, Dimmy, Coughkoff, Roughraff, Manjimutt, and Noway. "Yo-kai fighters! Roll call!" She slammed the medals into the six slots. There was no announcement or song, as the six waves of energy clashed with each other to instantly generate Twilight's team.

"Buhu!"

"Dimmy!"

"Coughkoff!"

"Roughraff!"

"Manjimutt!"

"Noway!"

The six Yo-kai banded together and stood beside Twilight, ready for combat. The portraits and vitals of all six Yo-kai appeared on the screen, which Twilight was able to move freely to set up her frontline and her backrow. She took the stylus out of her mouth and used her magic to hold it in the air.

"A new Yo-Kai Watch, eh?" Felycan glanced over at Twilight's team and her watch. "How impressive. But even that won't be enough to stop me. C'mon! Have a go! I dare you!"

"Roughraff! Noway! Coughkoff! You take front!" Twilight organized the icons, causing Buhu, Dimmy, and Manjimutt to turn translucent. "When you get hurt enough, I'll bring in the backrow."

"Got it!" The three Yo-kai nodded and got into fighting stances.

"Oh, it's on now!" Felycan raised its' claws and slashed horizontally with both. The Yo-kai barely had time to dodge, and the second strike ended up dealing them a hit, scratching their faces and leaving marks—except for Noway, who barely felt the attack.

"Now, let's try out a new feature this watch can do..." Twilight tapped on a blue button at the top right corner of the screen, causing a projection of a reticle to appear in front of her. She aimed it at Felycan's right claw and shot out a pin that rooted itself into the Boss Yo-kai, but didn't actually make it flinch in pain. "Team! Focus your attacks on the pinpointed area!"

Immediately after Twilight gave the order, Coughkoff and Roughraff attacked the right claw. Roughraff gave it a powerful punch, while Coughkoff dug its' spiky body into it. The cat might've been tall and fast, but it had no idea what Twilight was doing with her watch, and could not predict where the Yo-kai would attack.

"Not my claw!" Felycan slowly picked out the thorns with its' other paw, leaving an opening for Roughraff and Coughkoff to strike it right in the face. "Gah! Didn't it ever slip your mind to respect your elders?!

"Now you're gonna be in for a world of hurt!" Felycan drove both of its' claws into the three Yo-kai before pulling them out. They barely dodged it, but Noway took the brunt of the attack, once again feeling nothing.

"Noway's a defensive Yo-kai while Roughraff and Coughkoff are physical and spectral fighters." Twilight watched Roughraff deal another punch while Coughkoff shot a torrent of water at the other claw. "What do you think, Whisper? A well-rounded team gets the job done, right?"

"Don't underestimate a Boss Yo-kai, Twilight..." Whisper pointed at Felycan.

"Time for you to forget about yourselves and see what fun's like!" The cat whipped its' tail on the three Yo-kai, casting an inspiriting flame on them all. "Cat-alyst!"

Just like the ponies before it, the three Yo-kai were becoming more feline. Their bodies were transforming into cat bodies, their faces grew whiskers and noses, and they began to purr and meow just like all the other victims.

"Darn it!" Twilight re-organized the pictures, making the first time translucent as they went off to play with the other cats, allowing Buhu, Dimmy, and Manjimutt to become solid and enter the battle. "Buhu! Dimmy! Manjimutt! Your turn!"

"You can count on us, Twilight!" Dimmy slinked into the shadows on the walls and snuck up behind Felycan, as Buhu and Manjimutt approached it.

As Buhu, Dimmy, and Manjimutt attacked Felycan and tried to de-claw the cat, Twilight tapped on a purple button on the bottom left corner of the computer screen. It was a button that allowed her to manually purify the Yo-kai that had been inspirited, and by playing a digital game that differed for each Yo-kai, she was able to remove the inspirits and restore the faded Yo-kai back to normal.

"You know, I'm not really much of a dog person!" Felycan tussled with Manjimutt, throwing him onto his back as she tried to bite into him.

"Well, I'm not much of a cat person either!" Manjimutt scratched at Felycan's face, causing her to groan and stumble backwards against a wall, prompting Dimmy to attack from behind and drive his sword into her neck.

"That's it!" Felycan roared and knocked away the Yo-kai with another swing of the tail. "It's time to let myself out of the bag once and for all!" Stomping up to Twilight, it swished the tail over her body, casting an inspiriting flame on Twilight as she was about to bring the other team back into battle.

"TWILIGHT!" Whisper watched Twilight fall to her knees and feel the inspiriting process begin.

The other Yo-kai gasped as they watched Twilight succumb to the purple flames. It was much slower than usual, but Felycan's powers were having an effect on her.

"Ooh... Here we go! We're gonna have some fun now, kitties!" Felycan clapped her paws as it watched Twilight grit her teeth and stand back up. The power she had cast was working, but Twilight showed great resistance to it. "You're trying to resist the change! That's not fair!"

"Nothing's ever been fair with you involved!" Twilight shouted and took more beast-like breaths as she felt the process begin. "I'm not gonna stop fighting until you're gone for good!"

"Then do it! Change! Become a cat like the others!" Felycan slammed its' paws onto the ground impatiently. "It's the only way you'll be able to live with yourself!"

"Twilight! Please resist!" Whisper watched Twilight's hooves slowly turn into cat paws. "You can't just give up to such a powerful foe like Felycan!"

"I gave up with Gargaros. I'm not about to give up here!" Twilight growled, halting the transformation, but still being cast with the purple flames.

"You have to! You're a cat now, just like everyone else that I've taken!" Felycan came over and whispered into Twilight's ears. "Just think about it. A world where all you'll do is sleep, eat, play, and meow! Won't it be glorious?" she cooed. "And you'll have me to thank for it! The marvellous, magnanimous, miraculous, Felycan!"

"Nyot if I have anything to say about it!" Another voice rang out of nowhere.

A red flash ran through the door and charged up to Felycan, slamming into its' pudgy body and sending it flying against the throne of yarn that it had been sitting on, causing the yarn to scatter everywhere and into the paws of the cat-ified ponies.

When Twilight could make out what was going on, she saw yet another cat. However, it was much different to the ones that she had seen before it. It had a red coat with a small metal necklace, and two tails that were both lit on fire by blue flames. The new cat paled in comparison to Felycan, but it had a determined look on its' face.

"Of all the things I've seen tonight, I've never been more happy to see you..." Whisper looked at the new cat with a wide smile on his face.

"Whisper!" The cat turned around and smiled right back at him. "It's been so long!"

"It certainly has, my old friend." Whisper shook hands with the new Yo-kai and showed him to Twilight. "Twilight. This is Jibanyan. He's a Charming tribe Yo-kai unlike any other."

"I can see that..." Twilight's smile was smaller than Whisper's, as she was still fighting back the inspiriting power of Felycan. Her ears transformed into cat ears as she got a good look at Jibanyan.

"Anyway, what brings you here, Jibanyan?" Whisper asked. "Aren't you supposed to be fighting off trucks to try and prove that girl wrong?"

"The trucks aren't going anywhere, Whisper. I've still got plenty of time to beat them down." Jibanyan made a few air punches before he saw Felycan get back up. "I heard that Felycan was trying to steal my thunder with his cat powers. So I came in as fast as my paws could carry me."

"Uggh. Jibanyan..." Felycan shook its' head and groaned at him. "You always were the runt of the litter, weren't you?"

"Nyot cool, Felycan!" Jibanyan squinted its' eyes. "You've got nyo right to be here! I'm the only REAL cat Yo-kai around here!"

"You? The better cat? Puh-lease." Felycan tipped its' left paw. "Compared to me and that soon to be cat-ified pony over there, you're nothing more than a kitten."

Jibanyan grunted at Felycan's taunts and took up a battle stance.

"But, if you want to humour me with your feeble attempt to try and hurt me, then go right on ahead." Felycan's claws extended out even more. "But I must warn you, it's pretty moggy in here, and with Twilight Sparkle over there not feline so hot, I'd say that you're in a whole mess of trouble, Jibanyan."

"Honestly. And here I thought Mckraken's squid puns were bad..." Whisper facepalmed at Felycan's sentence. "Jibanyan. Go right on ahead and help Twilight's team defeat Felycan."

"Nyo problem, Whisper! You can count on me!" Jibanyan gave Whisper a nod before it charged off towards Felycan with the other Yo-kai that Twilight had befriended.

"Just hurry up, everyone!" Twilight let out a small gasp of air and felt a pain in her stomach as she grew a cat nose and whiskers. "I can feel Felycan's curse getting stronger..."
