Chapter 8: Generosity Badge

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

For once in his life, things had actually gone exactly as he had planned.

The minute Brad stepped off the S.S. Zepplin, he had a straight shot towards Manehattan City, battling a couple trainers along the way for the experience and rushing to the pokémon center after some cock-sucker decided to poison Steenee. Then, again, as he predicted, he pressed his luck with the local Nurse Redheart, got rejected and made his way back outside into probably the most bustling metropolis in the entire Equestria region. Large buildings that housed the most prestigious businesses lined the streets with people rushing to get to their destinations, creating huge traffic jams on both the sidewalks as well as the streets.

“Taxi!” a woman suddenly shouted behind him, rushing up to the side of the street and being immediately passed up for another customer. Still, though, she continued to wave her arms anxiously, trying to get the attention of any of the cars approaching just for every single one to pass by, leaving her walking around anxiously as she checked her watch. “Oh, no! Ohhhh, no, no, no, no, no!”

Under normal circumstances, this would probably be the perfect time for Brad to walk away and leave other people to deal with their own problems, but once he began turning the corner, he received a swift smack in the back of the head from the pokémon on his shoulder. “Ouch! What the cock was that for?”

“Mel la metta!” his companion said angrily, pointing back towards the girl on the street.

The woman had a light amber skin with a short cyan hairstyle, complete with a red flower sticking out of the hairpin on the back of her head. She seemed so sweet and innocent, the exact kind of person that most others would immediately pass over, either due to a lack of respect for the weak or genuinely because she seemed to lack that much presence. It seemed like Meloetta was the only creature in the whole city who actually wanted to help her out, but Brad didn’t really see anything he could do to make things any easier for her.

“What do you want me to do? Have her get on my back while I carry her to wherever she needs to go?”

With an annoyed expression plastered on her face, however, Meloetta immediately picked Brad up in a psychic field, carrying him over to the street corner while he wiggled in the air to break free. The minute Meloetta set him down, however, Brad completely froze up, making the woman beside him turn her head momentarily before turning back towards the traffic, waving her arms frantically. Again, another car passed her by, making it suddenly clear what Brad had to do, despite how condescending it made him feel.

“Ugh… TAXI!” he shouted, causing the next cab driving by to screech to a halt right in front of them. The woman turned her head again, both with surprise that he had managed to get a ride so easily as well as a hint of envy that she had to wait for yet another cab to come by. To her surprise, however, Brad grabbed hold of the passenger's door and opened it sideways, allowing the woman the perfect entryway into the taxi. “Here. It’s all yours.”

“Oh, no! I couldn’t!” she exclaimed. “You were the one he stopped for. You should--”

“I literally have no use for one of these. I just called it over for you, just because… you know… you looked like you could use one or whatever.”

Brad was trying his hardest not to come off as insulting, especially after seeing how angry Manehattan citizens could be after the slightest provocation, but rather than getting angry, the woman smiled softly. “Thank you so much! That was very generous of you. Actually, if you’re headed somewhere, you can ride with me. I’ll pay for the both of us.”

“Uhh, I guess I’m going to be heading to the gym at some point.”

The woman’s eyes went wide. “The Manehattan City gym? Hop on in. I’m headed over there right now.”

“Whoa, really? Sweet!”

The two of them then ducked their heads and climbed into the back of the taxi along with the psychic pokémon, making their way towards the center of the city. “I’m Coco Pommel, by the way,” she said, extending her hand across her body, which Brad quickly shook. “I’m sorry, but I don’t think I caught your name.”

“Oh, I like to go by ‘Flash’, but people nowadays have just been calling me by my first name, Brad. Brad Sentry.”

“Hmm… Flash Sentry, then? Don’t worry. I’ll be sure to call you what you prefer to go by.”

“Thanks, Coco. What are you headed to the gym for? You challenging the gym leader too, I’m assuming?”

Coco quickly shook her head. “Oh, no! I could never be a pokémon trainer! You see, the gym leader is new in town, and she mainly just works at the gym so that she can pay rent in this city. You would not believe the cost of living around here.”

“That would explain why everyone is so pissy all the time, but I’d believe it. So, that still doesn’t explain why you’re headed over there in the first place. Are you like her landlord or something?”

“Oh, no! I work with her in a textile company in upper Manehattan. I’m just coming by to collect her samples so she doesn’t end up losing her internship. She’s been up all night working on them, and she’s always been so thoughtful towards everyone around her. It was the least I could do to pick up her things for her.”

Brad then swung his arms behind his head, leaning back as comfortably as he could in the otherwise cramped vehicle. “You know, I had a friend back home who was looking to get into the textile business. She was waiting to hear back from an internship in Manehattan herself, but I left before she heard anything.”

“Oh, really? Where are you from?”

“Canterlot City.”

Suddenly, though, Coco’s bright smile turned around completely, leaving her furrowing her eyebrows as if he had said something weird. “Did… you just say Canterlot City?”

“Yeah. What? What did I do? I’m legitimately confused this time.”

“Oh, nothing. It’s just… what was the name of that friend of yours?”

“Rarity. Why?”

Coco just continued to stare at Brad even longer, making him even more uncomfortable, especially since she wouldn’t tell him what the heck he had said that was wrong. Once the car stopped, however, the cab driver said, “Here we are. Rarity’s gym. That’ll be forty-four bits, please.”

That’s when all the gears began to click into place, making Brad raise his eyebrows at Coco, who seemed to nod in agreement before he could even ask her the question. “Yep,” she said, reaching into her purse for the cab fare. “The cost of living here is that expensive.”

Brad quickly followed her out of the cab, too shocked to fully comprehend that he knew yet another gym leader, but as he followed behind the woman in front of him, he didn’t even know what to ask. Instead, Coco just walked straight into the gym like she had been there hundreds of times, barely allowing Brad to look up and see the columns of marble stretching up to the sky like an old government building. Then, upon reaching the doorway, he silently made his way in, almost hiding behind Coco as she made her way forward with a jubilance in her steps.

“Gym Leader Rarityyyy!” she called. “I’m here to pick up those fabrics for yoouuu!”

Then, rushing out of a doorway in the back, a woman appeared wearing a white and blue crystallized dress, seemingly trying to carry twenty things at once. There was no doubt that if anything, Coco had underexaggerated how much work Rarity did outside of her internship, making him admire the gym leader even more than he had before. Back home, Rarity was always his favorite tail to chase, both because she was single-handedly the hottest girl at CHS as well as the fact that she was a legitimately exquisite woman. She was generous, she had prestigious goals, she wanted to be the best not to prove anything to anyone, but because she honestly loved the thrill of pushing past her personal limits. Now here she was, doing two jobs while trying to support herself in one of the most cutthroat cities imaginable, cutting back on sleep just to make deadlines for her friend to pick up the next morning.

“Terribly sorry, Miss Pommel!” she exclaimed, holding all of the fabrics in her arms, which were stacked so high that she could barely see three steps in front of her. “Thank you again for doing this for me. I can’t imagine how I’d be able to handle losing my internship all because of some silly fabric. Also, you know there’s no need to refer to me as ‘Gym Leader’ Rarity. Just Rarity is fine with me.”

“I know,” Coco replied, taking the textiles into her own arms. “We had that conversation around the same time as when I told you that you didn’t need to refer to me as ‘Miss Pommel,’ remember? But I really just said that for your friend here.”

“My frie…”

Finally, once the fabrics were out of Rarity’s hands, she was at last able to see beyond the few feet in front of her to make eye contact with a blue-haired teenager, making her jaw drop slightly. Rarity seemed to shake her head in disbelief, much similar to how Brad had reacted when he learned that his old butt buddy had become the gym leader to Manehattan City. Then, with a small laugh, she made her way over to the doorway, passing by the intricate crystal design of the gym in order to leap into Brad’s arms, hugging him with all her might.

“Ohhh! I didn’t expect to see you here!” she said with joy. “Then again, I guess this is something that I should just learn to expect from time to time, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, no kidding. You’re a gym leader now? How’d you make that happen?”

“Well, a woman has her charms,” she added with a wink. “Plus, it doesn’t hurt when I have five friends from high school who also became gym leaders. I hope you don’t think that you surprising me here makes me any less furious about you leaving Canterlot City out of nowhere without so much as a ‘goodbye,’ though.”

Brad’s eyes went wide as he suddenly remembered a key detail that he had completely forgotten about, making Rarity tap her foot while sweat dripped violently down Brad’s neck. “Yeah… about that… Did you know I’m a pokémon trainer now?”

Rarity immediately reeled her head back, somehow even more surprised than she was before. “No! You haven’t told me! Since when?”

“That’s… kinda why I left Canterlot City in the first place. Isn’t that right, Meloetta?”

Then, lifting herself off of Brad’s shoulders, Meloetta flipped in the air with a feminine twirl. “La metta!”

“Oh, aren’t you just the cutest little thing!” Rarity cried, playfully pinching Meloetta’s cheek. “Well, that’s so wonderful to hear! Now, I don’t mean to be rude, but if you’ve come for the normal soiree that I’ve actually missed more than you could possibly imagine, it must wait until later. I have far too much work ahead of me for a fifteen minute break right now, though I do hope that you’ll come to challenge me to an official battle once your pokémon are at a high enough level. Tata!~”

“That’s… actually why I’m here. I’ve already won the other badges.”

Rarity had already made it halfway back to her workroom when she froze on the spot, turning around slowly with suspicion on her face. “What other badges have you won?”

“All of them,” Brad replied, opening his jacket to reveal the magic badge, kindness badge, honesty badge, laughter badge and loyalty badge, shining as brilliantly as the crystal chandeliers that decorated the gym’s interior. “Rarity, I officially challenge you to a pokémon battle, and once I beat you, I’m going to the Pokémon League!"

“Darling, surely you’re joking,” she said, now turning back towards the battlefield. “Although I am impressed that you have managed to collect five badges already, you do realize that you need eight gym badges in total to enter the Pokémon League, right? How long have you been a trainer, exactly? Three weeks? A month?

Rarity’s words were getting colder and colder, piercing deeper with every sentence she spoke. “Yeah, it hasn’t been long, but I didn’t just get these badges out of pity, you know! I earned them. My pokémon earned them. Now we want to battle you for the generosity badge, and when we win, we’ll just need two more badges to enter the Pokémon League.”

“Why, though?” Again, Brad was caught off guard by her icy, insinuating questions, losing his confidence by the second despite how tough he was trying to act. “You’ve never even spoken about the Pokémon League before just a couple weeks ago. Now you’re actually trying to go? Brad, not even I would stand a chance in those levels of battles, and I’ve been battling with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy for as long as I can remember.”

Suddenly, Brad's smile was gone. “...Are you going to accept my challenge or not?”

Just then, Rarity must have realized how much her words had insulted her friend and quickly bowed her head. “I’m sorry if I came off a bit blunt, Flash. I have no right to judge another trainer’s ambitions, especially since I’m still trying to work on my own. Now, you want a gym battle? You’ll get one! Oh, and Miss Pommel, I know I’ve been asking a lot of you already, but would you be able to judge our match?” Rarity then looked back and smirked. “This shouldn’t take long.”

“Absolutely!” her friend said, setting the fabrics down and rushing over to the referee’s box as Brad and Rarity made their way to their own respective areas on the battlefield. “Are both trainers ready?” The two of them looked back at each other, nodded, and turned their attention back to the referee. “Challenger Flash vs. Gym Leader Rarity! Begin!”

Brad then motioned towards the gym leader with a bow, saying, “Ladies first,” as if he wasn’t trying to find out Rarity’s typing first before he sent out the wrong pokémon.

Rarity, however, with a smug smile, pulled a pokéball from the belt on her sparkling dress and threw it into the arena without a moment of hesitation. “Alright, then. We’ll use three pokémon a side. Glaceon! Go!” Then, once the white light stemming from the pokéball finally dissipated, a light blue dog with icy shards for ears appeared, barking ferociously at the challenger.

“Glaaaaay!”

Brad then took a moment to consider the possibilities of Glaceon having a second typing, but if it didn’t, that would mean Rarity used ice-types, which went perfectly with the feel of her gym. This, unfortunately, would be yet another battle where Steenee would be useless, which left Meloetta, Lopunny and Gardevoir to take care of the three pokémon she would be using. At the same time, though, he was pretty sure he knew how to battle against ice-types, and turning his cap around, he flung a pokéball into the air, shouting, “Lopunny! I choose you!”

“Lop loooop!” she cried before even landing down onto the stage, officially beginning the match.

“Ohhhh, look at that adorable little bunny!” Rarity cooed. “If I weren’t an ice-type gym leader, I would scoop you up in a heartbeat!”

“That reminds me. What made you choose ice-types in the first place?”

The gym leader grinned, twirling around in her dress, making the fabric sparkle in the gym’s light. “Do I even need to explain that one? Just look at how beauuuutiful my glaceon is. It’s like all ice-types were born specifically to look magnificent!”

Brad chuckled, not really too surprised knowing Rarity’s personality, but even though he had missed that side of her more than probably anyone from high school, he still had a badge to earn. “I figured as much. Should I go first or should I allow you to have the first move?”

“Gentlemen first,” Rarity replied with a bow.

“Works for me! Lopunny! High jump kick!”

“Sand attack, Glaceon!”

As soon as Lopunny jumped into the air, the pokémon on the other side started digging up frost from the crystallic ground, creating a pile of icy dust by its side. Then, once Lopunny raised her leg up to attack, descending down onto the gym leader’s pokémon, Glaceon got behind the pile of dust and kicked backwards, sending a billow of dust into Lopunny’s eyes, making her reflexively change her path. Finally, as Lopunny rubbed her eyes with her paws, she collided into the ground, hurting herself in the process.

“Lopunny! Are you OK?”

“Ha! After a fall like that, even if she does get up, I doubt she would be OK. Glaceon, use blizzard!”

“Lopunny! Get up! Use high jump kick again!”

Right as soon as Lopunny got up, however, a massive flurry of ice and snow rampaged towards her, but right before the attack landed, she got back to her feet and hopped as high as she could, just barely missing the freezing attack. Then, while she was in the air, Lopunny kicked her leg down and came falling directly on top of Glaceon, who was still looking around in an attempt to find the pokémon it had tried to attack. With a harrowing kick to the side, Glaceon was sent flying backwards, skidding across the ground until she came to a halt, making a dusty cloud of frost billow above her.

“Glaceon! Are you alright, darling?”

“After a fall like that?” Brad asked smugly, making Rarity glare in his direction. “No, but for real, Lopunny. I don’t see any reason to change our strategy. One more high jump kick!”

Rarity, however, giggled, making Brad feel as though he had somehow just walked right into one of her traps. “Oh, you don’t need to change your strategy at all, Brad! You just keep doing what you’re doing at we’ll stick to our original plan of attack. Glaceon! Use sand attack one more time!”

“Glaaaay!”

Then, just like before, Glaceon dug up another pile of icy dust, kicking it into the air just as soon as Lopunny had reached the apex of her jump. Brad couldn’t even look at this point, covering his eyes and waiting for the attack to be over as a loud thud echoed throughout the gym. Had Lopunny’s attack landed, or had she crashed again? If she had managed to hit her opponent, that would have sealed the deal against Glaceon, but if she missed again, there would be no way she would get back onto her feet again.

Finally, though, he heard Coco lifting her hand into the air, making his heart beat even faster. “Lopunny is unable to battle! Challenger Flash is now down to two pokémon!”

He couldn’t believe it. Opening his eyes in disbelief, he looked onto the gym floor to find that surely enough, his own pokémon collapsed on the ground, covered in dust from what must have been a successful sand attack. He had always gotten lucky in times like these, but this time, Rarity was folding her arms with a pompous grin on her face, making him feel even angrier.

“Lopunny, return! Gardevoir! Go!” As Brad summoned Lopunny back into her pokéball, he then released his psychic/fairy-type into the arena, which floated coolly above the ground. “OK, Gardevoir. This should be easy. Use moonblast to finish it off!”

“Blizzard, Glaceon!”

With both attacks having been called out, Brad clenched his fist even harder, trying to alleviate his painful impatience as he waited for both pokémon to carry out their orders. There were two things Brad needed to worry about now: whose move would land first, and how successful would a blizzard be against Gardevoir? Again, Brad gripped his palm tighter, but this time, to his astonishment, he actually had the faster pokémon. It seemed like after battling Rainbow Dash that his team would always be slower than his opponent, but as Gardevoir lifted herself into the air, projecting a pink aura in the shape of the moon, she managed to release her attack before Glaceon could send over its cloud of snow, hitting it head on and sending glaceon flying across the gym.

Before Coco even had the chance to lift her arm, Rarity ran over to her badly-damaged pokémon, holding it in her arms while she gave it the best reassuring smile she could. “Glaceon is unable to battle!” Coco called out, lifting her hands towards Rarity’s side of the field. “Gym Leader Rarity is now down to two pokémon!”

With a soft sigh, Rarity then recalled her Glaceon back into its ball, making it glow a bright red before it disappeared completely. Then, standing to her feet and wiping the dust off of her dress, she looked Brad in the eyes with her hands on her hips, standing triumphantly as if she’d already won. “Well, if you’re going to take this seriously, then so am I!” Finally, pulling another pokéball from her designer belt, she threw another pokémon into the arena, shouting, “Frosslass! Show him how it’s done!”

As the pokéball touched down on the crystallic floor, a white light shone out of the ball, revealing a dark purple pokémon seemingly covered by a white veil. “Froslaaaass. Froslaaaass.”

“Wait a second,” Brad said, taking a step back as soon as he realized his sudden disadvantage. “Isn’t that--”

“A ghost pokémon? Yes. You see, if someone like Pinkie Pie can handle ghost-types, I thought I might try the same, especially when there’s an ice-type as gorgeous as this one.”

“Froslaaaass,” it replied with a calm smile, which was a much-needed contrast to how terrifying Pinkie Pie’s ghost-types were, but seeing as how Gardevoir was a psychic-type, he was still just as scared as ever.

With the typing he had on his team, there was no way to hit any of Froslass’s weaknesses, which meant that the only plan he had now was to hit using his strongest moves. “Gardevoir, use another moonblast!”

“This is your chance, Froslass! Use shadow ball!”

Both pokémon then released their attacks as Gardevoir shot a pink ball towards Froslass who shot back with a ball of dark energy, hitting Gardevoir before her own attack landed. Brad was sure that Gardevoir would have lost most of her energy after that one attack, but to his surprise, Gardevoir was able to get up relatively easily, floating up in the air even before Froslass could. In fact, Frosslass seemed to be in a lot of pain, which meant that so long as it didn’t use destiny bond, he would be able to take it out with his next attack.

As Brad looked back at Rarity, though, she was biting onto her thumb, completely baffled as to how a direct hit from one of the strongest ghost-type moves could have done so little against a psychic-type pokémon. “Froslass, I’m sorry to offend, but it appears that you only have one more chance to win this battle, and I’m not so sure that a shadow ball will do the trick. With this next attack, give it all you’ve got! Use ice beam and try to freeze his gardevoir!”

“Froooooslaaaaaass!”

“Hang in there, Gardevoir! Don’t let it stop you!”

Froslass then began to open its jaw, creating a blue ball of energy in front of it which broke apart into four cyan beams, all of which hit Gardevoir in a straight-on attack. Gardevoir tried blocking the attack with her arm, but the longer the attack lasted, the more her arm began to turn white, freezing into icy shard along her limbs.

“Now!” Brad shouted. “Finish it off with psychic!”

Then, breaking free from the attack and glowing a bright blue, the ice along Gardevoir’s arms gradually began to melt, allowing her to release one more psychic blast towards her opponent. Froslass squirmed in the air, rattling with pain as the psychic energy ravaged its body until finally, it descended down to the ground, no longer able to move its body. Brad quickly looked over to Coco, just to reaffirm that he had taken a ghost-type headon and won, and after waiting a few moments to make sure herself, the blue-haired girl lifted her arm towards Rarity and announced, “Froslass is unable to battle! Gym Leader Rarity is now down to one pokémon!”

Rarity, though, shook her head, her mouth agape at the seemingly easy victory that she should have had turned out to be the exact opposite of what she’d planned. “I don’t understand!” Rarity exclaimed. “I did everything right!”

“It was a bad matchup,” Coco said, catching both trainers off guard. “Froslass’s strength is its speed. Its special attack and special defense are at a total disadvantage when battling against Gardevoir, whose main skills lie within her special attack and special defense. If you had been battling a pokémon like Golurk, though, Froslass would have been a great choice.”

With a long sigh, Rarity then called back her Froslass, finally giggling at the situation she found herself in. “I guess that means I have no choice but to use a pokémon with high special defense, then. Is that it? Alright, Brad! This is the end of the road for you!” Finally, pulling out her third pokéball, she flew her last pokémon into the arena, shouting, “Cryogonal! I choose you!”

As her final ball landed onto her side of the field, a pokémon made almost completely out of icy diamonds levitated into the air with a loud cry. “Cryoooogonal!”

“Alright, Gardevoir! Same plan as last time! Moon blast!”

Rarity, though, rather than feeling scared began to giggle to herself, covering her mouth as if to hide her rudeness. “I’m sorry, Brad,” she said, “but your pokémon are just too slow. Now, Cryogonal! Freeze-dry!”

“Cry cry cryooooo!”

Suddenly, the air around Gardevoir began to grow cold as she was charging up her attack, and before she had the chance to release her attack, the air completely froze around her, encasing her into a block of ice before shattering when she hit the floor. With glass ice all around her on the floor, Gardevoir remained limp, no longer glowing an aura with her attack having faded altogether. Brad couldn’t believe that its attack had happened as quickly as it did, but by the time he turned his attention towards Coco, her hand was already being lifted in his direction.

“Gardevoir is unable to battle! Challenger Flash is now down to one pokémon!”

Brad sighed in frustration, the air around his breath becoming visible in the cold air within the gym as he pulled out Gardevoir’s pokéball and summoned her back. Since Steenee was weak to ice-types, Meloetta would have to be the one to save them, although he didn’t see how she would be able to do that seeing as how Cryogonal was basically a special-attacking shield. If Brad couldn’t use psychic-type moves on it, what was he supposed to do?

Then, with a smile suddenly creeping in on his face, he turned towards the pokémon on his shoulder and asked, “You ready Meloetta?”

“La mel!” she replied, jumping into the battlefield.

“OK, Rarity. You wanna brag about how much faster your cryogonal is? I’ll let you have one more hit at us before we end this battle!”

“Ooohhhh. Cocky are we?” Rarity asked with a surprised grin. “You heard the man, Cryogonal! Blizzard!”

“Cryoooogonal!”

Then, just like when her glaceon had used the move earlier in the match, a flurry of snow and ice bulldozed towards her, causing her to hold out her arms to shield herself from the attack. Once the attack let up, though, Meloetta seemed to have taken almost no damage at all, smirking at Rarity and her pokémon while brushing off the frost from her arms. The gym leader seemed almost unnerved at how little she had been able to do, looking back and forth between Cryogonal and Meloetta as if it would help her come up with a better strategy.

“Now, Meloetta! Relic song!”

“La, la la la la la, la la la la, la, la la, la la la la la la, la laaaaaaaa!”

Suddenly, as Meloetta began to sing and dance, the microphone by her mouth began to trail down her green hair, turning it a deep brownish red that curled over her head. Meanwhile, her dress began to curl upwards as she clapped her hands, changing her form entirely from a psychic-type to a fighting-type, striking a pirouette in her new appearance. Rarity gasped in awe, communicating to Brad that if she was really this thunderstruck from one move, he would have no problem finishing this off.

Still, though, breaking free from her trance, Rarity shouted, “Cryogonal! Freeze-dry! Quick!”

“Sorry, Rarity, but you’re a little too slow for that. Meloetta! Close combat!”

Finally, in a battle where speed meant everything, Brad once again had the advantage with Meloetta in her new form. Taking off at a speed that rivalled even her froslass, Meloetta raced towards Cryogonal, lifting her arm and swiping it down, nearly causing a crack in the ice-type’s exoskeleton. Rarity’s pokémon didn’t make a sound, remaining still for several moments until it gradually fell backwards onto the ground, its yellow eyes fading into the blackness behind them. Rarity fell to her knees, not even bothering to face the referee whose verdict was already presumed, and just like that, Brad had proven once again just how amazing his team was.

“Cryogonal is unable to battle!” Coco announced. “Challenger Brad is the winner!”

Brad wanted to celebrate just as he had done when he defeated all the other gym leaders in the past, but Rarity was different. She wasn’t rude to him or demeaning to him in the same way the others were. If anything, her concern about him entering the Pokémon League wasn’t about him getting his feelings hurt as much as it was about making sure he was doing it for the right reasons. Her words were starting to make him really think about why he wanted to enter the Pokémon League in the first place, and the honest answer was that he really just wanted to be more like her. “Meloetta! Return!”

Rather than cheering, Brad walked over to Rarity and held out his hand, helping the gym leader up to her feet while using his other hand to return Meloetta to her ball. “I don’t understand!” Rarity said with a baffled expression. “I thought I was making all the right moves!”

“There are no right moves,” Brad replied quietly, pulling her into a hug. “It’s all about having the right team with the right mindset. I think Pinkie Pie taught me that one.”

“Well, Pinkie Pie always was the one who saw things differently, after all.” The two of them then shared a laugh, thinking back on all the ways that Pinkie Pie had used surprise logic on them in the past, and when their chuckles finally began to calm down, the two of them held each other again, bringing each other even closer than before. “I’ve missed you, Flash Sentry.”

Brad laughed again, brushing a piece of Rarity’s hair past her ear. “We’ve only been apart for a couple of weeks.”

“I know, but it feels like forever since we’ve last… er… A-anyway, I should probably--”

Just as Rarity was about to push herself out of Brad’s arms, however, he gripped her tighter, making her stop instantaneously, looking up at him with longing eyes. “You know,” Brad began, “I have to leave Manehattan pretty soon. I don’t know when the next time I’ll be able to see you will be.”

As Rarity took the next few moments to take in Brad’s words, she quietly cleared her throat, turning her attention towards her referee. “Miss Pom--I mean, Coco. I really must thank you for all that you’ve done for me today. I really do owe you a favor for this.”

“Oh, not at all, Rarity!” she replied, picking up the textiles once again. “I guess I should leave you to your own responsibilities now, especially since Miss Polomare will want these fabrics right away.”

“Oh, make sure you take your time, just so you can describe what her face looks like after she’s been waiting all day to receive them.”

“Don’t you worry. I’ll make sure to give you every vivid detail. Good bye!”

“Ciao!” Then, the very instant Coco had made her way out the door, Rarity groaned, slipping her dress straps down her shoulders and making her way out of her outfit. “I must admit, I’m grateful that she helped me so much today, but I thought she would never get the hint.”

Brad hesitantly stepped backwards, making sure to get an eyeful of Rarity’s eye candy as she stepped out of her dress completely, giving him the best view of her enticing cleavage and smooth thighs, barely hidden by her undergarments. “Uhh… Rarity?” Brad began. “You know that--”

“The gym is now closed. I shall return after my lunch break.” As she said those words, she stepped out of her crystal high heels, prancing her way to the gym doors and locking it up. She then pressed her back to the doors, biting down on her lower lip and beckoning Brad over with her finger, making him rush over with a stupid look on his face as he struggled to lift his shirt over his head. Then, once he managed to get his shirt and jacket onto the floor, he planted a hard kiss right on Rarity’s mouth, causing her to reflexively put both of her hands against his cheeks, pulling their kiss in deeper.

Brad, meanwhile, as the kiss was beginning to lean more and more towards Rarity’s control, quickly moved his attention down to his jeans, slipping his belt off and jumping on one foot to get the denim off of his legs. Then, with the two of them down to their underwear, Brad pressed his body against Rarity’s, pushing her back into the wooden door behind her as she pulled the boy in by his neck. If the situation wasn’t enough to make him hard, Rarity’s lips were, gliding along his skin as his member began to poke through his boxers, piercing Rarity between the leg, making her squeeze her thighs together.

Just as they were getting to the good part, however, Rarity grabbed Brad by the shoulders and pushed him away, looking up at him with eyes that communicated both arousal and seriousness. “Brad, you must promise me that no matter what happens here, it never leaves this room.”

“Fine, but that just means I won’t tell you about any of the gym leaders that I’ve slept with.”

“...Hold on! What gym leaders have you--Mmmff! Mmmm… Mmm… N-nevermind.”

As soon as Rarity was about to ask a question that she didn’t need to bring up, Brad pressed his lips back to hers, allowing his tongue to travel across hers in between their mouths collapsing together. Then, as things were starting to get a little more heated, Brad took his hands off of Rarity’s waist, moving them instead to lower his boxers as Rarity reached back to unhook her bra, their mouths never once leaving each other’s. Finally, with his clothes all the way off, he grabbed Rarity by the legs just as soon as she got her bra off and pressed their chests together, lifting Rarity into the air as he pressed her back harder into the door behind her. Meanwhile, the feeling of Rarity’s exposed nipples pressing against Brad’s was getting him so excited that he was basically penetrating her already through her panties, causing her to wrap her arms as tightly around his neck as possible. Even with the thin fabric preventing him from entering her insides, though, he continued to press himself in, humping her through her underwear and causing her to break the kiss just long enough to breathe deeply.

“Brad, please… You’re going to leave a mark on my panties.”

In his absolute impatience, however, Brad allowed Rarity back down to the floor just so that he could lower his head, grab Rarity’s underwear with his teeth and slowly slide them down her legs, allowing her to step out one hole at a time. Before he could even get his face back up, though, Rarity stood with her feet shoulder-width apart, spreading her labia for the trainer to see all of her intricate folds along with her pleasure center on top. He missed the taste of Rarity’s natural nectar so much, but he had to hold off for just a little bit, instead electing to rise all the way up to his feet, kissing Rarity passionately again while sticking a finger inside her. Rarity flinched at first, but gradually positioned herself to allow Brad’s finger to find the perfect path to her deepest regions, grabbing Brad’s penis herself and moving her wrist back and forth.

Brad’s back spasmed, feeling the familiar touch of her feminine hands touching him in all the places she knew he loved, causing him to insert a second finger into her vagina, making her breathe passionately in response. Once Brad placed a kiss on Rarity’s neck, however, she stopped completely, releasing feminine gasps with each peck that he made on Rarity’s skin while his fingers became covered in her liquids. Rarity’s hips moved back and forth in a rhythm against Brad’s fingers, rocking her pelvis in a way that brought Brad to all of her sensitive inside areas, leading to another long moan from Rarity’s voice.

Then, Brad took both his mouth and his fingers away from Rarity, causing her to reflexively pull on his neck for him to stimulate her more, but Brad had other ways to give her what she wanted. Turning the two of them around, Brad pressed his back against the wall, lowering his pelvis as if he were on a chair and inviting the naked woman to join him in sitting down. The gym leader fluttered her eyelashes, looking down at Brad’s member and rubbing him gently, gracefully allowing a bit of saliva out of her mouth to cover the top of Brad’s dick, which she then lathered all over. Finally, once Rarity was sure that he was properly lubed up, she stepped over his legs, angled his penis upwards and gradually descended her hips, allowing his phallus to gently penetrate her folds.

Brad immediately grabbed onto Rarity’s bare butt, helping her along as she bounced on top of his lap, knocking her hair back and moaning loudly. Her spine arched as she began to feel the stimulation from Brad’s cock navigating its way deeper, which Brad could feel hugging the length of his dick, wettening his skin to allow himself further. With every bounce Rarity made against his pelvis, he found himself growing stiffer, harder, longer, making himself travel further inside Rarity without even needing to move. Then, spreading her legs wider, Rarity came down as hard as she could, wrapping her arms around Brad’s shoulders as he finally felt the edge of her cervix rubbing against the head of his penis. Rarity must have felt it as well, though, since the moment it made contact, she grinned deviously at her partner, moving her hips around in circles, spreading his precum all over her inside walls.

“Mmmmm, Brad, I’m so horny right now.”

“Prove it,” he replied with a cocky smile, making Rarity reply with a smug grin of her own.

“Aaaahn~! How was that, darling?”

“That was OK and all, but I’m preeeetty sure you can do better than that.”

Rarity put her finger to her mouth, still bouncing her hips against Brad’s as she came up with an idea. “Ohhhhh YES! Mmm fuck me, Brad! AH! Ah, ah, ah, ahhhh!!! Oooooo fuck! AHHHH!”

Not only had Rarity done her job in making Brad even hornier, she had also caused him to pull her off of him completely, pin her down onto the floor and hump her with all the power he had, pressing his lips against hers as he spread her legs. Rarity tried humping him back, but she found herself completely overpowered, feeling her pelvis smacked back down to the floor every time she tried lifting her hips. Their fingers quickly intertwined as tightly as Rarity’s narrow vaginal canals while their tongues turned the passion up a level, not even pressing their lips together as they twirled against each other. Then, pulling his mouth and fingers away from her momentarily, Brad lifted his waist higher, grabbing Rarity by the thighs and spreading her legs as wide as he could get her, making her scream in ecstasy.

He couldn’t believe how close he was to cumming already, even by Rarity’s standards. He wanted to hold out for as long as he possibly could, but her beautiful face complemented by her perfectly round breasts, small nipples, slender waist, tight vagina and feminine voice were all so much that Brad couldn’t stand it. He was heaving in breaths, trying to hold back the feeling in his balls from exploding out of his body, but Rarity must have been able to see how horny she was making him, which in turn, made her even hornier. Suddenly, Rarity’s screams were so loud that her voice was threatening to break from exhaustion with her vagina coating him in just as much wetness as the sweat on their skin, dripping down their bodies as Brad once again pressed his bare chest against Rarity’s.

He knew he couldn’t hold back anymore, and looking back at the gym leader’s face, she seemed to be inviting it. Finally, with a nod, she said, “Do it,” causing Brad to hump her faster than had probably ever done in his life. Once again, Rarity screamed loudly as her insides invited him in deeper until eventually, his cock started throbbing inside her orifice, leaving her to wrap her legs around his waist as the first shot of semen flooded her vagina. Brad was now breathing audibly, grunting in exhaustion as his seed poured further into her womb, coated with her natural lube. Rarity quickly grabbed onto Brad’s shoulders again, digging her nails into his skin as he dug his penis into her womanhood, feeling his balls gripping inside his body and being pushed out his urethra, giving his nerve endings a pleasurable jolt with each pulse.

Finally, though, the two of them felt Brad’s orgasm come to a close, leaving him cumming for a good half a minute before his penis eventually went limp and slipped out of Rarity’s pussy. Then, reaching down to her vulva, she pulled her labia apart and began flexing her abdomen, pushing small trails of semen out of her womb and onto the floor, except for the little bit that dripped right back into her other hole. The sight of Rarity spreading herself again, broadcasting to the world how much white had decorated her insides was almost enough to get Brad hard again, which, to be fair, he would have loved to do again. Unfortunately, though, no matter how enticing the view of Rarity physically digging cum out of her vagina was, he was far too tired to be able to handle a round two… Although he suddenly wanted to stay another night in Manehattan City.

“Sorry about the mess,” Brad said, struggling to get himself back up to his feet. “I should have realized by now that whenever I do it with you, it’s gonna take some extra cleanup.”

“Oh, don’t worry about it,” Rarity replied, shakily pulling herself back up to her feet with the image of semen trailing down her leg and her breasts dangling in the air cementing itself into Brad’s mind. “Anyway, I really should open the gym back up just in case anyone wants to battle me.”

“Oh, shit! The generosity badge!”

Rarity quickly perked up, making her boobs bounce in response (seriously, he needed to visit Manehattan City more often). Then, as Rarity dashed over to her dress, bending over to grab the badge while giving Brad yet another beautiful view of her arched back, round buttcheeks and slightly-parted pussy, she quickly grabbed a badge in the shape of three cyan diamonds. Brad would miss naked Rarity, but at least this badge would always remind him of the beautiful scenes he had experienced firsthand.

“As the gym leader of Manehattan City, I officially bestow upon you the generosity badge.”

“Sick!” Brad exclaimed, picking up his own clothes and adding it to the collection. “Oh, speaking of which, do you know any other places that do gym badges?”

“Hm? Oh, actually, now that you mention it, there’s a gym just beyond the Sierra Neighvada mountains in Las Pegasus. I don’t know who the gym leader is over there, but I do know that they just filled the position.”

By this point, Brad had already pulled his jeans up his legs and was about halfway through getting his shirt over his head. “Las Pegasus, huh? I’ve always wanted to go there.”

This time it was Rarity’s turn to slip her dress over her shoulder, bending over to pick up her panties and slip them up her pelvis one leg at a time. “You will come visit again, right?”

“Well, it is kinda far from--”

“I have my own apartment downtown. I’ll meet you at nine o’clock tonight once I’m done with my internship.”

“Done.”

Brad really didn’t know what he would do until then, but at least he knew that tonight, he would be nailing the hottest girl in Equestria, and tomorrow, he would be on his way to Las Pegasus City. Maybe in just a few more days, he could even be on his way to the Pokémon League. He shivered excitedly at the thought, but that was nothing compared to the feeling of one more night with the beauty of CHS.
