It was the next day and Fluttershy was talking to the others about what happened yesterday.

"All I did was hand Twilight a bunny. Then I ponied up." Fluttershy explained.

"I just don't get it. Rarity's magic came out when she made us outfits. Pinkie's when she fixed the party and now Fluttershy." Sunset Shimmer pondered.

"And then Twilight's pendant thingy just pulled the magic right out of me. I couldn't even stand up." Fluttershy stated.

"Like me at the party!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Or me right before we met Twilight!" Rarity added

"So she's stealing magic?" Sunset said.

"I don't know. She doesn't seem like the magic-stealin' type." Applejack admitted.

"Yeah, but she had something to do with closing the portal. If her pendant can pull in magic, maybe it stole the portal, too."  Sunset said.

"How?" Fluttershy asked.

"I don't know. And the pony or person or princess who could help me figure this out is completely unreachable now." Sunset replied.

"Which is too bad, because Twilight knows everything about magic and portals and magical portals and portable magics!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"Well we know a certain friend who can solve something like this." Sonic stated while he winked at Christian.

"For now, let's just focus on beating the Shadowbolts. And as long as this event puts me in a playing field, I don't think we've got anything to worry about." Rainbow Dash boasted.

"Oh, it puts you on a playin' field, alright." Applejack gasped. Looking in front of them, they saw a giant motocross track, a smaller track inside of it, and what looked like an obstacle course leading to an archery section.

"Am I the only one who thinks this is overkill?" Sunset asked.

"You think?! I'm not complaining, but this looks like something a certain egg-shaped scientist would put in an event called the Friendship Games." Christian stated.

"I don't suppose you made motocross outfits." Applejack said to Rarity.

"Oh, don't be ridiculous. Of course I did!" Rarity replied while pulling out motocross suits. Just then, a device could be heard coming from Sonic's backpack. As Sonic reached inside it, he pulled out a giant yellow tablet and pressed the call button, putting a yellow fox on the screen.

"Tails! Long time no see buddy." Sonic chuckled.

"Sonic, this is no time for games, and who are those six behind you?" Tails asked pointing behind him.

"Give me one sec." Sonic said as he pressed a button, making a hologram of the two tailed fox.

"Allow me to introduce our new friends, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer." Sonic announced as he pointed to each one of them. "And before you ask, yes they know I'm a hedgehog and no, I'm pretty sure we're in a different world." Sonic chuckled.

"Tails, what's going on?" Christian asked.

"Um, did you tell them about Eggman?" Tails asked.

"You mean egg shaped scientist that builds freaky robots and always loses to you guys? Yes we know." Rainbow Dash replied.

"Well then you all might want to be prepared to meet him in person." Tails sighed.

"What!?" all of them yelled.

"Eggman knocked me out and went through the portal. I don't know how far he's gotten in his plan or what he's doing, but it can't be good." Tails went on.

"Great. Add that to other things Christian, the girls and I have to fix." Sonic sighed.

"Wait, what do you mean other things you guys have to fix." Tails asked.

"Well... It goes something like this." Sonic said as he sat down and explained everything that happened in their world up to this point.

"I can't come over do to the fact that Eggman somehow disabled the portal after he crossed over." Tails sighed.

"Its okay, there was nothing you could have done. Anyways, Christian and I are going to go help CHS win the games and restore the lost magic, then we'll go pay that egghead a visit." Sonic chuckled.

"Okay, see you on the flip side Sonic!" Tails exclaimed as he signed off.

(Cue Sweet Mountain - Act 1 - Sonic Colors Music Extended)

As the bleachers were filled with both schools, everyone who qualified to move on to the second round ran on to the field to get into position.

"Welcome, everyone to the Friendship Games Tricross Relay! In this event, our qualifying competitors will face off in archery, speed skating, and finally, motocross." Candace announced. "So if the competitors are ready..." Candace said as she blew an air horn, signaling Fluttershy and Sour Sweet to start the archery section. "Each competitor must hit a bullseye before their teammates can start the next leg of the relay." Candace announced. As Sour Sweet made it over the mud pit, she fired three arows at once, all hitting the moving target and one of them hit the bullseye, signaling Twilight to go. Fluttershy meanwhile was having trouble firing arrows as they just dropped on the ground. As Twilight jumped the firsst hay barrel, she tripped and fell on her face as Sour Sweet growled at her from a distance. As Twilight got to the rope swing over the mud pit, she almost fell in and was trying to keep her balance on the edge of the platform. Fluttershy lined up her shot with the target, closed her eyes, held her breath, and shot. The arrow hit a direct bullseye and Futtershy signaled for Applejack to go. As Twilight regained her balance, she started firing arrows, all missing the moving targets. As Applejack made it to the platform, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and shot her arrow, hitting a bullseye. A green light then went off on CHS' side, signaling Rarity and Pinkie Pie to start the staking track.

"And Canterlot is off to an early lead!" Candace announced. As Twilight continued to miss the target, CHS was getting points for every lap.

"Well, that's just fantastic!" Sour Sweet sourly growled.

"I'm sure glad I don't go to Crystal Prep." Fluttershy whispered.

"You said it." Applejack sighed.

"If CPA can't hit another bullseye soon, they'll be out of this race." Candace announced.

"You're really bad at this!" Sugarcoat yelled out from the motocross section. Sunset, Rainbow, Sonic, and Christian, who all were in the motocross section, angrily glared at Sugarcoat.

"Ugh! I can't take anymore!" Applejack yelled out as she handed Fluttershy her bow and walked over to Twilight. "Ya have to stop aimin' at the target." the cowgirl told Twilight.

"Oh, that makes perfect sense! Don't aim at the target! Thanks so much!" Sour Sweetie sarcastically said in a sweet tone.

"Ya have to stop aimin' at where the target is an' aim at where the target's gonna be." Applejack continued.

"Yeah! Definitely take advice from the person you're competing against!" Sour Sweet said sweetly, then sounded like a sour tone. Applejack groaned at this.

(Cue Sonic Vs. Metal Sonic Prologue at 02:51)

"Do you wanna hit the bullseye or not?" Applejack sternly asked. Twilight nodded her head in response. "Then trust me. Take a deep breath." Applejack instructed as Twilight did what she was told. "And let the arrow go... riiiiight.... now!" Applejack exclaimed as she motioned to fire. As the arrow fired, tension filled the air as it flew towards the target. As the arrow hit the target, Twilight looked at the target to see the arrow hit a direct bullseye. The light for Crystal prep went green as the team took off and the  crowd cheered.

"Yeah! That's my girl!" Spike shouted as he came up to hug Twilight. Sour Sweet slowly backed away from Twilight, Applejack, and Spike as they celebrated. As Applejack was about to high-five Twilight, the purple skinned girl hugged the cowgirl.

"See? I was tellin' ya the truth." Applejack calmly said as she grew pony ears and her hair extended. As they ended the hug, Twilight's device suddenly started floating as it started sucking the magic out of Applejack. " Eh... what... are... you... doing?!" Applejack groaned as the magic was forced out of her body.

" I don't know!" Twilight frantically replied as she closed the device and Applejack fell with a thud. Twilight stumbled backwards and tripped over Spike as her device fell off her neck and into the roller skating track, causing a purple explosion of mist to expell out of it. As this happend, small portals started appearing in the air.

(End Sonic Vs. Metal Sonic Prologue)

"Canterlot only has two laps to go! But it looks like Crystal Prep is making up for lost time!" Candance announced. As Crystal Prep caught up to CHS, they passed them and knocked the Twilight's device to the other side of the course as Twilight ran across to grab it. As she made it, a green vine like tentacle popped out of a portal and started attacking her.

"Come on!" Rarity yelled to Pinkie as she extended her leg. Pinkie grabbed her leg as they used a slingshot maneuver to get Pinkie Pie past CA's students and in first.

"What a finish!" Candace exclaimed as the race ended with CHS in first.

(Cue Green Hill - Modern (Fast) (OST Version) - Sonic Generations Music Extended)

As the racers were singled by the green light, everyone sped off on their motorcycles as they dropped down onto the track.

"Huh, music out of nowhere? Sonic, care to explain that?" Sunset yelled over the engine sounds.

"Happens at set times in my world for what we call "Zones." Sonic explained.

"In our opinion, it gets us pumped up during our adventures!" Christian exclaimed.

"What are you complaining about Sunset? This rock music is fitting to this event and totally makes it 20% cooler!" Rainbow Dash yelled as they continued racing. As Twilight tried to grab her device, she was pulled back by the green monster coming from the portal. "Awesome!" Rainbow Dash cried out as she jumped over the large pit full of water. As the others made it over the jump and past the next turn, a large weed like monster appeared in front of the racers and attempted to attack them. Rainbow Dash barley managed to get past one by going under it while one two of the Crystal Prep students weren't so lucky as their vehicles were swallowed by the monsters. As Sonic approached with Christian, they both nodded at each other as they jumped off their bikes and preformed a roll attack through the vines, chopping through them in seconds. the crowd gasped at the sight of the monster vines coming through the portal and the two boys dashing through the monsters. As Sunset approached the monster, she rode under it, but fell off her bike and skidded to a stop. Another Crystal Prep student was knocked off the track and they ran away as the last one rode over one and landed in front of Rainbow Dash. Looking backwards, Rainbow, Christian, and Sonic saw Sunset about to be swallowed by the monster. Making a sharp one hundred eighty degree turn, they all raced back to save her. Sonic and Christian were stopped as they were being grabbed and squeezed by multiple weeds. As they struggled, they suddenly smirked at the plants as they grabbed each others hands as broke out of their grasp as they started bouncing from one weed to the next as they looked like one giant sphere of energy surrounded by a blue and purple aura respectively. As Sunset shook her head and was about to stand back up, she saw one of the giant plants above her about to swallow her whole. Just as it started its strike, Rainbow came at the last second and grabbed Sunset.

"Dash, you saved me!" she exclaimed.

"I wasn't about to let my friend become plant food." Rainbow chuckled as she glowed a bright blue. Stopping and getting off her bike while her pulled her helmet off, she grew pony ears, her hair extended to look like a tail, and she grew wings on her back. Seeing this, Principal Cinch glared at Celestia only for her to shrug her shoulders.

"Is everyone okay?" Sonic asked.

"I'm fine, thanks to Dash here." Sunset replied.

"We can still win this!" Rainbow Dash yelled. Sunset then got on Rainbows motorcycle and sped off with Rainbow following to take out any weeds.

(Cue Rival Battle - Metal Sonic (Stardust Speedway Bad Future JP) - Sonic Generations Music Extended)

Sonic and Christian were about to follow when a bright yellow light charged at Sonic, causing him to jump out of the way. As the light dimmed, a blue metal hedgehog looking robot appeared.

"Metal, you really need to work on different entrances." Sonic chuckled. The robot only replied with beeps and whirling gears.

"So, still not much of a talker." Christian laughed. Metal sharpened his claws at this point and charged a blue light from his chest. Sonic knew what he was planning and quickly looked towards the crowd.

"Everyone! Get down, quick!" Sonic yelled out as Metal fired his chest laser. This decimated half of the bleachers, but lucky, everyone got out of the way just in time. "Oh that's it!" Sonic angrily shouted as he started pulling off his Humanizer.

"Sonic, don't! You know what will happen if they see you. Utter chaos will come as everyone will drive us away!" Christian warned Sonic.

"If I don't do this, no one will be left to drive us away!" Sonic shouted as he finish pulling the golden ring shaped Humanizer. A white light filled the sky as Sonic transformed back to his normal hedgehog self. Everyone gasped at the sight and some even hid under the bleachers. "Metal, you're going straight back to the drawling board after we send you to the scrap heap!" Sonic yelled as seven multi-colored emeralds circled the two as they started floating.

"Super Sonic!" both of them yelled as they were engulfed by a bright yellow light. Sonic's quills were pointed upward as his fur was a golden yellow and his eyes were ruby red. Christian's hair was also pointed up and a golden yellow along with his eyes turning a ruby red. The one main difference was that he now had hedgehog ears looking similar to Sonic's on his head instead off his normal ears. Metal went up to swipe at both of them, only to have no impact whatsoever. The robot continued until he charged a laser at them and firing it instantly. When the smoke cleared, everyone was shocked to see that the two were perfectly fine from the pointblank energy blast. They both quickly boosted into Metal as he flew back and was smashed into the ground. Sonic then nodded to Christian as they both shouted "You're finished!" as they flew up into the sky and came down as two bright golden lights and destroyed Metal with two well placed Super Sonic Eagles.

As Twilight and Spike tried to take the device back, Rainbow attacked the weeds one by one by ramming them into the ground. Super Sonic and Super Christian came to help fend off the rest along side Rainbow Dash as the last two remaining racers were on the final straightaway to the finish. Sunset crossed the finish line less than a second in front of Crystal Prep's student.

"Canterlot wins!" Candace shouted as the Canterlot students cheered. Cinch gave a glare at the girls and the now super powered boys as Candace gave an announcement. "Attention, students, please proceed to the gym." she spoke over the speakers. Twilight then finaly managed to grab the device and shut it, closing the portals and destroying all the monsters.

(Cue Cutscene 3 - Sonic Generations Music Extended )

"Is everybody all right?" Sunset asked.

"Better than alright! We won!" Rainbow yelled.

"Is that all you really care about!?" Super Sonic yelled from behind them as both of them walked forward.

"Sonic's right. Yeah, we won, but somebody could've been seriously hurt. The magic is going haywire and I have no idea how to fix it!" Sunset yelled.

"Um, excuse me, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I just wanted to learn about the strange energy coming from your school. I didn't know that it was magic or... how it works." Twilight apologized.

"That's okay. Neither do we." Rainbow Dash replied. As Rainbow walked closer, Twilight's device went off again and started sucking the magic out of her.

"Oh, no! Oh, no no no! Not again!" Twilight cried out as Rainbow struggled from the magic loss. After it finished absorbing the magic, Rainbow fell forward and was helped by Sunset.

"I'm sorry! It just started absorbing energy on its own! But I'm not sure how!" Twilight said.

"What do you mean you don't know how?!" Super Christian yelled out as portals started opening around them. As Principal Cinch left the stands, she overheard the others talking and leaned in on the conversation.

"It also causes these corresponding rifts to appear! I don't know how that works either." Twilight went on.

"Is there anything you do know?! Like how to get our magic back?! Or how to fix the portal to Equestria?!" Sunset shouted.

"Equestria?" Twilight pondered.

"You're supposed to be so smart, but did you ever think that you shouldn't be messing around with things you don't understand?!" Sunset continued yelling as she closed the device along with the portal.

"But I wanna understand!" Twilight cried.

"But you don't! And worst of all, you put the lives of my friends in danger!" Sunset finished shouting.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Twilight sobbed as she ran away.

"Twilight, wait!" Spike called out as he ran after her. Rainbow Dash and Super Sonic put a hand on Sunset's shoulders as she snapped out of her anger and felt ashamed of herself for yelling. Principal Cinch smiled at what she saw and heard a voice behind her.

"You can't possibly call that a fair race." Cinch complained.

"Is everyone alright?" Super Sonic asked as he and Super Christian walked over to the principals.

"You! You two did this!" Cinch shouted while pointing her figer at both of them.

"Geez! Simmer down!" Super Christian replied.

"Principal Cinch, we all saw what happened. You can't think CHS had some kind of advantage." Celestia stated.

"Can't I? Even without your trained attack plants, your students have wings and these two are some sort of alien race who can go blond!" Cinch went on.

"Hey! I'm no alien! Heck, I'm human, thank you very much." Super Christian remarked.

"Yes well, you're acquaintance is a giant talking rat!" Cinch complained even further.

"Hey! I'm a hedgehog! And what are you complaining about? We just saved the school from Metal Sonic." Super Sonic shot back.

"We did not need your help, and as a matter of fact, you're prescience has scared away the students, and we should quite possibly remove you two."

"I've had enough! Who do you think you are anyways?!" Super Sonic shouted.

"A principal who can't stand to rebellious pincushions." Cinch shot back.

"You're starting to sound like you're working with Eggman!" Super Christian exclaimed.

"As a matter of fact I am. I hired him a day before Crystal Prep was sent here for the games. And you will not interact with him whatsoever, that's an order." Cinch demanded.

"Fine, we're just glad your all are okay." Super Sonic replied.

"Thank you for saving our students and for helping to stop the portals." Celestia praised the two students.

"No problem, it's what we do!" Super Sonic said as they both gave a thumbs up.

"Well, the race certainly had some... extenuating circumstances. Perhaps we should end the games now and declare a tie." Celestia suggested as the girls walked up to them.

"A tie? Was this your strategy all along? To force us into accepting you as equals? I think not. The games will continue and Crystal Prep will prevail despite your antics and whatever performance-enhancing regimen your students are on." Cinch snarled as she walked away.

"Yeesh! What's her deal?" Super Christian asked.

"And we thought Eggman had a temper." Super Sonic added.

"Now as for you two, do either of you mind giving us any insight on how this all happened?" Principal Luna asked.

"Well, it goes like this." Super Sonic said with a smirk. He told them about who he really is and how he got here.

"Well thank you for the information. Would you like to stay for the rest of the competition?" Celestia asked. Super Sonic and Super Christian were both confused.

"Wait a minute. You're not freaked out about us or our powers?" Super Sonic asked.

"Well I must admit that this is all very strange, but none the less. You did help save the school." Celestia replied.

"Thank you. And by the way, we weren't going to leave the school or the friends we've made here even if you told us to leave. We're sticking around until the very end." Super Sonic stated.

"I'm sorry I couldn't stop all this from happening." Sunset said.

"It's not your fault, Sunset." Celestia replied.

"Isn't it? I should know how to control the magic I brought here. But I don't. I let everyone down. And now Principal Cinch thinks we're cheating." Sunset complained.

"It doesn't matter what Principal Cinch thinks." Principal Celestia stated.

"But it does. The students here at CHS don't just wanna win. They wanna beat Crystal Prep. It isn't gonna count if the other side doesn't really think they lost. Crystal Prep is never gonna believe we won fair and square if there's magic around. And that magic is only around... because of me." Sunset sighed.
