"I can't believe our world's Twilight goes to Crystal Prep!" Rarity complained.

"You're saying that Twilight's gonna play against us? She'd never do that!" Rainbow Dash angrily yelled.

"Our Twilight wouldn't." Fluttershy whispered.

"Our Twilight is a princess in Equestria and an expert in friendship magic! And if she was here, we'd have already figured out why magic is randomly popping up during pep rallies and costume changes." Sunset angrily complained as she took a deep breath. "Sorry. I'm just frustrated that I haven't heard back from her." she went on.

"She's a princess in Equestria. Probably got problems of her own to deal with." Applejack replied.

"We certainly can't expect her to drop everything and pop through the portal whenever. Especially if it's to deal with something as minor as a few random pony-ups." Rarity stated.

"But they aren't minor! Magic came into this world when I stole Twilight's crown. It's taken a lot for me to earn everyone's trust. If we have to forfeit the games because I can't think of a way to keep it under control..." Sunset trailed off.

"Oh, Sunset, I'm sure you'll be able to figure things out." Fluttershy sympathized as she patted Sunset on the back.

"You're the one who helped us understand what was goin' on with the sirens. Remember?" Applejack reminded her.

"I guess. But Twilight was the one who really figured out what we needed to defeat them." Sunset admitted.

"But don't you remember, darling? What we needed to defeat them was you." Rarity said.

"All right." Sunset sighed. Everyone cheered except Sunset cheered.

"Come on, guys! Let's see if we can find any info about the events and come up with a strategy. You comin', Sunset?" Rainbow Dash asked as they started towards the door.

" I'll... catch up with you guys in a bit. Still no reply." Sunset sighed. As she walked out, she saw Sonic on some cardboard break dancing and everyone was around him.

"Go! Go! Sonic!" everyone cheered as he finished up. The moment he finish, the kids from Crystal Prep started hitting him with stones.

"Look! CHS' brand new student is now the newest student to be pelted with rocks." one of the Crystal Prep students said.

"Well, talk about rude. The girls weren't kidding when they said that they had to gloat." Sonic scoffed in a cocky demeanor to Christian. Sunset sighed and walked toward the statue.

(Cue Sonic Adventure Event #2)

"Maybe there's another way I could reach her." Sunset said. "Hey, let go!" she yelled as the statue started sucking in a red mist through the portal to the other side. Sonic and Christian immediately ran towards the statue where Sunset fell with a thud. On the other side, Sci-Twi closed her device as she fell down as well.

"What did you do?!" Sunset asked.

"Look kid, Christian and I may be new here, but we know when something's messed up." Sonic angrily shot at Sci-Twi. Just then, her device went off again and it was pointing towards the blue hedgehog's backpack.

"Twilight, you have to check in with the others." Candace said. As Twilight ran over, Sunset checked on the portal which no longer worked.

"Where's the portal? Where's the portal?!" she grunts while her hands pressed against the portal.

"No sweat, leave it to me." Sonic said as he pulled out a green gem from his backpack. "Chaos Control!" he yelled out. He waited a few seconds and nothing happened. "Seriously, the Chaos Emeralds can't open the portal?! Sonic yelled as he turned into a blue ball and charged at the statue, only to land back on the ground after colliding with it. "Well I'm out of ideas." he sadly admitted.

When they met with the others, Sonic explained what happened with the portal, and what the Chaos Emeralds were and what they could do.

"What do ya mean the portal's gone?" Applejack asked.

"I mean it's gone. It's closed. It's not there anymore!" Sunset exclaimed.

"We were there, and not even the emeralds work on it, which can literally bring people back to life!" Christian shouted.

"How'd that happen?" Rainbow Dash asked.

" I don't know. But it has something to do with that Twilight." Sonic said. while pointing to her as Sci-Twi bumped into balloons and other people.

"What in tarnation is she up to?" Applejack asked.

"Leave this to me." Sunset said as she walked up to Sci-Twi. "Twilight, what have you been up to?" she asked in a stern tone. This caught Sci-Twi by surprise as she started stuttering.

"Me? Oh, I was just, uh—".

"Who wants to know ?!" Indigo Zap called out.

"Um, we do." Rainbow Dash shot back.

"All right, everyone. Let's not get too competitive before the games even start." Applejack said trying to break up the fight.

"The games aren't really competitive since we've never lost." Sugarcoat boasted.

"That's not a very nice thing to say." Fluttershy whispered.

"Sorry, sweetie, but these games aren't about being nice." Sunny Flare taunted.

"Well, you might use a little tact." Rarity added.

"Enough!" Christian shouted. "Now unless you want a spin dash hitting all three of you at mach 4, back off Shadowbolts!" Christian yelled as he started charging purple circle. Sonic quickly got him out of it and pulled him away.

"Hey! What was that about?!" Sonic asked Christian.

"If they want a fight, they're gonna get one." Christian replied.

"You heard Applejack, save it for the games, and let's not show our powers off, it may get CHS disqualified." Sonic said trying to ease Christian's temper.

"Fine" Christian groaned. As Twilight slowly walked away, she bumped into Pinkie Pie.

"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie!" she calmly said.

"Oh, hi. I'm Twilight." she responded.

"I know. You look just like my friend. Her name is Twilight too." Pinkie Pie went on as she shook her hand quickly.

"That's... heh, weird." Twilight nervously chuckled.

"What's that?" Pinkie Pie asked pointing to her device.

"It's sort of a spectrometer. I built it to track EM frequencies, but it can also contain anomalies." Twilight explained. Pinkie Pie stared at her with a smile on her face." It measures things." Twiilight said as she broke the silence.

"Like the party?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Yeah, though it doesn't look like much of a party to me." Twilight sighed.

"I know. Something is definitely missing. Come on!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she quickly dragged Twilight away.

"Hello, everyone! I'd like to take this opportunity to greet all of our visitors from Crystal Prep Academy and welcome them to CHS." Celestia announced.

"What in the world is in these?" Twilight grunted.

"Party cannons, of course!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"And lastly, I would like to recognize the fourteen students that CHS has elected to compete. I don't think we could have chosen a better group to represent the excellence, sportsmanship, and friendship the games stand for." Celestia went on as the girls, Sonic, Christian, and five others were recognized."

Pinkie Pie then quickly changed the food table from fruit to cupcakes, hit the lights, turned on the disco ball, and handed Vinyl Scratch a music disc. As party music started, everyone started mingling. Sonic and Christian then started break dancing in the center of the room as everyone started cheering again.

"Hit it Pinkie!" they both yelled. As she unveiled the party cannons, Twilight had second thoughts.

"Um, are you sure this is a good idea?" Twilight questioned Pinkie Pie.

"Absolutely!" Pinkie yelled. As the fuse went off, confetti and streamers went off everywhere as everyone gathered at the center to party. Pinkie then grew Pony ears and her hair extended to look like a tail. "Ooh, floaty!" she squealed as she started floating. As Twilight got up, her device floated by itself as it pointed to Pinkie Pie and opened to start draining a pink mist from her. As the mist drained, Pinkie fell to the ground. "Aw! Oh. I am party pooped." Pinkie Pie weakly groaned as she leaned on the door beside her. As a little energy escaped the device, it seeped into the cracks of the bleachers and created a small portal that disappeared a few seconds later. As everyone was dancing, Sonic told Christian they could use a low-power spin jump for dancing. As they jumped, they spun fast enough so it looked like a blur, but not fast enough to look like a ball of energy.

Just then, the lights turned back on, the music stopped, and a microphone let out a painful noise to everyone's' ears causing them to cup their ears and Sonic and Christian lost focus and landed on the ground head first.

"Hey! A little rude, don't you think?" Sonic said in a cocky demeanor to Principal Cinch as they walked back to the girls.

"Keep quiet you blue haired annoyance!" Cinch shouted. "Any more outbursts and you will be removed, along with your purple haired acquaintance." she continued. All of the room stared at them and the girls with surprised looks on their faces. " Anyways, I'd like to thank Principal Celestia for her unconventional welcome. It's been four years since the last Friendship Games, but it feels as though nothing has changed. Canterlot High continues to pick its competitors in a popularity contest and Crystal Prep continues to field its top fourteen students. It is a comfort to know that even after so many years of losses, your school remains committed to its ideals, however misguided they may be. I wish you all the best of luck, regardless of the inevitable outcome." Principal Cinch sternly announced.

"Why I aught a Sonic Wind her into the next multiverse." Christian complained as he was pulled back by Applejack and Sunset.

"Simmer down sugar cube, we don't want to lose a participant for CHS." Applejack said.

"Yeah, the last thing we want is a giant all on war at the Friendship Games." Sunset added.

"It's a little late for that." Christian said as he pointed to the giant crowd giving off angry looks to one another.

"Oh." Pinkie Pie groaned.

"I'm sorry, Pinkie. I thought your party additions were really swell." Applejack said.

"They definitely broke the ice." Fluttershy said trying to comfort her.

"Yes. If only that Principal Cinch hadn't frozen it again." Rarity groaned.

"Yeah, she's awful." Pinkie weakly said.

"Yeah, No kidding." Sonic added.

Wow, Pinkie, what happened to you?

"I don't know. Everyone started having fun after Twilight and I fired the party cannons and I ponied up." she replied

"Of course you did." Sunset chuckled.

"But then the magic just drained right out of me." Pinkie continued.

"Wait, what do you mean "drained out of you"?" Sunset asked.

"Hey. Where is that other Twilight?" Applejack asked.

"Oh. She's right... Uh, well, she was right here." Pinkie said really confused.
