The explosion had gone off, leaving many things behind. The destruction of an entire city, several fires and chaos around it, including creating smoke in the sky, while an orange sunset was set off in the distance.

Once they could see it was clear for them to land, the CHS Wondercolt pulled itself into the damaged city of Canterlot, and from the look of it, the explosion took half of the city with it. Parts of the buildings toppled off, bricks and concrete were in shattered bits, and shards of glass scattered over the streets and in the shops. Everyone got off the ship, and slowly walked through the damage. Sugarcoat however had to sit in a wheelchair due to her leg damaged, and so Sour pushed her from the back.

As they walked to the pinpoint of the explosion, they could all see a huge explosion mark on the center of the road where the Queen and Toxigo last stood, the last spot Indigo and Sunset found him in as he was slowly falling apart. Without any hesitancy, everyone began to dig through parts of the rubble to see if there were any remnants of survivors, whether it would be Chrysalis or Toxigo.

"Hey guys!"

The two of them turned around to see Indigo pulling up a dark green crown almost the size of her head.

"I found Chrysalis's crown! Don't know what happened to her though, I don't see her!" Indigo called out, and then Sunset continued to go digging in the rubble.

Sunset continued to look through the debris, in hopes that the love her life was still alive.

"Toxy! Toxy!" Sunset shouted.

Sunset's eyes winced at a bright light, and her vision was turned as she found something gleaming in the sunlight. She found the Alicorn Amulet on the ground looking as if it was snagged off from someone's neck. Worried sick, she held onto it and kept looking for signs to see if he's alive.

Sunset threw some more debris out of the way, and found an object that stood out. Lustrous silver metal which revealed to be Tox's arm.

"I found him!" Sunset called to her friends.

Sunset and some friends rushed over to the pile of debris and got the rubble off of the prosthetic arm. Once Sunset pulled it out, she saw the limb incredibly damaged. Wires were hanging out, one of the fingers was almost near just detaching from the wiring, and the jewel inside the palm was shattered in just blue shards.

"Oh no... Tox! Toxy!" Sunset called out.

Echo then walked over to where they stood giving her report.

"No signs detected." Echo said.

"Don't you have any way to find him? Tracking? Heat signature?" Sunny asked.

"Affirmative."

This got Sunset's attention. Maybe they could find him easier than they thought.

"Echo, scan for his heat signature." Sunset ordered.

"Aye aye, sir."

Echo activated her heat vision, and began turning her head in a 360 motion scanning the environment around them, but alas coming across no signs.

"No signatures detected. Toxigo Paralysis, is not here."

Sunset's stress levels were growing higher, but she noticed something else on the prosthetic arm. She looked at the palm one more time and saw a slip of paper that was taped to the palm, which had Sunset's cutie mark on it. She pulled the paper off, unfolded it, and closed it back in a mili-second because she was unable to read it had said. Sour Sweet saw the paper she threw, picked it up and unfolded and saw why she threw it.

"Don't you want to see what it says?" Sour asked.

"No, I don't." Sunset replied.

"What's it say?" Sugarcoat asked.

Sour looked to Sunset who didn't look back at them, and Sour cleared her throat to read the letter.

"Dear Shimmer-cakes, Sparky, Royal Princesses, Pinks, Skittles, Rare, Jackie, Shy, Dazzlings, and Shadowbolts. Wow those nicknames are weird, anyways...

By the time you find this letter in the wreckage from the explosion, I will probably be in a million pieces or be dead, floating in a void of darkness and fear. I wrote this letter in ever the case this would happen, and honestly I knew this would happen when Chrysalis absorbed the power. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to be worried for me. I care for you guys so much I didn't want you to get hurt because of me. But to get the point as to what I wrote this, I wanted to leave my final words and wishes to you all. I give my thanks and love to Sparky, Pinks, Skittles, Rare, Jackie, and Shy for getting me out of my dark and grim shell into a life where I got attention and where I was cared for, I had never been more happier in my life. So I graciously thank you for helping me.

Dazzlings, I understand the position you've all been in, wanting more power and yet getting nothing out of it. But there is a greater power that you can get so much more out of. Under the teachings of Sunset Shimmer and her friends, I have learned much more from them, and if you learn from them, I can guarantee you a life of happiness. Shadow 5, I understand you all have been feeling guilty for what you've done to me, and I have forgiven you. I understand fighting in this long and tiring war wasn't what you had in mind, but I appreciate you making through it anyway. But if you all prefer to do a different form of making amends, here's what you'll do. You will attend Canterlot High School to learn the Magic of Friendship, you will try to be friendly to all of the staff and students around you, and you will do what Sunset says. And if you can, please rebuild parts of my home if you can, turn it into a haunted house for Halloween maybe, or at least, just spruce it up so Echo can be able to live there on her own, and do check up on her just to make sure she's still functioning.

My last notes go to Sunset Shimmer. Shimmer-cakes, I love you with all my heart, and if I would, I would have loved to spend eternity with you. You cared for me greatly in the last couple of days, and I always cared for you. And I know it won't be easy for you to move on without me, so if you want, keep the Amulet I always keep around my neck, around yours, so you can have a reminder of who I was. Just be careful with the power, DO NOT let it corrupt you. But in case, there is a way you can wear it without being corrupted. Just slide the ends into a metal connection blocker which will not allow any magic to be used as you wear it. You're the only girl I trust with that much power now. And as for the arm, keep it with you just in case you might need it. It can be used as a weapon to defend yourself, remember that. And as for my final request, when you go back to Earth and explain this story, if you ever do plan on some funeral or something, instead, make it a celebration for the victory and for what you've gained, rather than focusing on what you've left behind. I know you'll be able to move on without me, and I hope that you can. I love you Shimmer-cakes, and I always have, and I always will. And always remember, you possess the most powerful magic in the universe, the Magic of Friendship.

Once Sour stopped reading the letter. Sunset walked back looking at the letter the whole way through, then folded it up and put it in her pocket. Human Twilight having concern for Sunset, walked up to her to check on her.

"Sunset? Are you okay?"

"*sighs*, I'll be alright. I at least know, he loves me. B-But, now I..." Sunset's lips quivered and her hands were shaking up. "I... I won't be able to see him again!" Sunset cooed.

"If you want to talk about this, I'm here for you." Twilight said.

Sunset then out of nowhere held Twilight in a tight embrace crying on Twilight's shoulder, and Twilight held her back allowing Sunset to let her emotions out. Everyone taking in notice Tox was dead all held their heads down in respect for who've they lost.

"Maybe we should say some words, to respect him?" Fluttershy asked.

"I think that seems like the appropriate thing to do." Indigo replied. "Who's gonna speak?"

"I think I should, I know how to speak at these things." Sunny said.

Everyone had set a fire to allow the remnants of both of them to burn. One of them was the bio-hazard belt buckle they salvaged from the wreckage, and the other was the Queen's crown. Everyone had gathered around and had tried their best to stay calm and collective. And for the most part, everyone was. Sunset was still tearing up from what had happened, and none of them stopped her.

Sunny cleared her throat, as she began speaking. "We commence, this child, and the Queen to your keeping, O lord. Their bodies have been taken from the shadow of our nights. They have been released from all darkness and pain...."

Soon, Sour walked over holding the belt buckle, and Fluttershy walked over holding the Queen's crown in her hands. Both of them were ready, and Sunny continued with her speech.

"The unicorn and the Queen, have gone beyond our world. They are forever eternal and everlasting. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust." Sunny finished wiping a tear away.

Fluttershy and Sour tossed the items into the fire and watched as the fire consumed them, burning them to ashes and dust.

Aria and Sonata looked at each other with concern, until Aria spoke up. "You know... you're not the worst thing to exist. The Queen was. I... I know I don't really show it but... I actually care about you. You're my own sister."

Sonata gave a weak smile. "Thanks."

Aria held Sonata in a hug, and soon Adagio joined in on them as all three were hugging one another, and none of them felt any remorse or distaste.

"We will never forget you, Toxigo Paralysis. Your sacrifice will be commended." Celestia commented.

It was later in the afternoon, and the soon was close to setting into the night. Everyone had gotten over to Twilight's castle, and the girls and boy were ready to go home. Sonata was carrying Lemon Zest in her arms since they couldn't move a stretcher through the mirror, and Indigo helped Sugarcoat walk.

"We're going to need to a hospital when we go back. We can just tell them I got bitten by a lion, and Lemon hit her head on a rock." Sugarcoat said.

But before any of them were about to leave, Princess Twilight spoke with them one last time just before they went.

"Adagio. Before any of you leave, I spoke with Celestia and she said you all are allowed to roam free here in Equestria. Since you all have helped fight for our freedom, the charges that have been placed on you before have been dropped."

Adagio thought for a moment. They were finally free to roam in Equestria, but they thought back to what Toxigo had done for them. He never killed them, he helped save Adagio's sisters, and he sacrificed his own well being just to keep them alive. She thought about this again, and decided to go through with his final request, and to go back and live out the rest of their lives in the human world.

"As much as that sounds amazing Princess, I think it'd only be... nice, if we stay in the human world to learn from Sunset Shimmer about...friendship. It would be the right thing to do considering what Toxigo had done to keep us all alive." Adagio replied.

"Very well. But the portal is always open if you want to come here." Princess Twilight replied.

"Thank you, Princess."

And with that, the Dazzlings entered through the portal back to Earth. The Shadowbolts then looked at Sunset, giving her friendly smiles.

"We'll be waiting for you guys on the other side." Sugarcoat said.

So the 4 Shadowbolts, Flash, and Echo Dash all made their way through the portal going back to Earth. Leaving Sunset and the human equivalents with Princess Twilight.

"Sunset, you sure you'll be okay?" Princess asked.

"I'll be alright Twilight. And I'll carry out Tox's last wishes and watch over his stuff." She said looking at the Amulet held in the grasp of the synthetic hand.

"And we'll keep an eye on the Dazzlings, and any signs of other Equestrian magic on the loose. I'm sorry we destroyed most of Canterlot" Human Twilight asked.

"Don't worry about cleaning up Canterlot, we have that covered. Stay safe girls. I'll be sure to visit to see how you're doing." Princess Twilight replied.

"Thanks Twilight." Sunset replied, just before kneeing down and accepting a hug from the small horse. She got back up on her feet and walked towards the portal, followed by the other girls entering through as well, thus returning back to Earth.

On the other side, the 10 of them were waiting for the group of 7 to come back, and they all saw them return back.

"So, I trust talking with the Princess went okay?" Adagio asked.

Sunset simply nodded still holding the arm and amulet with her. Their attention was turned to the sound of an opening door and they saw Principal Celestia walking down seeing all of them.

"Sunset, are you girls okay? Toxigo told me to keep an eye out for when you all return." Principal Celestia then saw the three Dazzlings all together, and they gave nervous smiles to the principal who wasn't happy to see them.

"Principal Celestia, its okay. They apologized and they helped us defeat the Queen who took us." Twilight responded.

"And what has happened to Tox?" Celestia asked.

"I'm afraid the poor darling has.... has..." Rarity started to explain but she couldn't get herself to say it.

"Tox died trying to save us and keeping our entire world from being destroyed!" Fluttershy finished, just before sobbing into her hands and being pulled into a hug by Rainbow Dash.

"Oh... I'm so sorry to hear for your loss. Should we send you all home to recover?" Celestia replied in a calm voice.

"No..." Sunset depressingly said.

"Well, shall we arrange a funeral?"

"No. He asked us to instead of mourning what has been lost to celebrate what has been gained. And from that, we just got three of our enemies reformed, and 5 former students of CPA coming to join us. So, maybe I don't know. Pinkie you think you have enough energy to make a victory party?"

"I would, but I just can't get myself to smile right now. Maybe next week? I should be better by then. Maybe we can invite Crystal Prep over, since he was on both of those sides." Pinkie asked with her hair just flat and deflated.

"Alright, thank you." Sunset sniffed.

Pinkie then walked over to Sunset holding her in a tight embrace to let her cry on her shoulder, and soon all of them joined together in a group hug, including the Dazzlings, Flash, Echo, and the Shadow 5. It would take some time for things to be okay, but they all had each other to get through what had been gained, and what had been lost.

As the night had struck, and everyone had gone home, something else had planned to arrive.

In the stars above Canterlot, four objects from outer space were soaring down into Earth's atmosphere. Burning bright, and flaming through the sky, the meteors flew right above CHS, right above the town, and through the city, and their trajectory was aiming into the grassy hill near a mansion. The meteors had finally crashed digging into the ground and rested right onto the front part of the hill, still steaming from the extreme heat.

The mansion the meteors crashed right near looked very old and rigid, as if no one had been living in it for many years. But that was only the exterior, what laid inside was the real question.

The footsteps of a heeled boots were hitting the mud as the figure ran over to see the meteors had hit the ground, and was were still steaming heavily. The figure shined their flashlight onto the gigantic rock getting a closer look and all she saw was darkness. Until a pair of scary demonic eyes illuminated in the darkness.
