Toxigo:

At that moment, the three Dazzlings appeared from the different sides of Toxigo, all singing along in perfect harmony.

Now, I understand you learned some revelations (oh-wuh)
It's nice you care not the safety of yours (oh-oh-oh-oh)
But if I don't win this war
Well then we'll be near done for
She'll explode and take us all right with the core

If we lose then we're to blame...
that Queen had used us, and she abused us

Toxigo:

Soon the four Shadowbolts who were still awake along with Echo started singing along as well, all on board with Tox's plan as well. They circled around the group showing their serious expressions on their faces, along with standing beside Toxigo showing their commitment.

Shadowbolts:
(Oh, wuh-oh-wuh, oh oh, wuh-oh-wuh)
Unleash the magic, unleash the magic
we're not enemies after all
our only reason, for our actions
is praying Toxigo will not fall

Soon Toxigo began moving away from them, and the 6 girls that were singing along with him, had to do their best to keep everyone away from him so they didn't get hurt.

Toxigo:
What I am saying's very simple
And since its saving the lives of yours
I only want to keep our world away from
Being in the claws of hers

We only want to stop that evil spawn

Adagio and Indigo then had to try their hardest to keep Sunset from charging right after Toxigo, and soon Twilight and Flash had to hold onto her to keep her from chasing him.

Toxigo kept on walking to where the Queen was, who was destroying more buildings attempting to search for them.

The Queen's attention was drawn towards Toxigo who grinned evilly as she stared down on him.

Tox: And what gates might open if she tries to take it...

"Tox! No!!!!" Sunset yelled trying to charge after only to be held back by Twilight.

Tox: And my friendship's all I really want to see...

Toxigo stood before Queen Chrysalis with a determined look on his face, showing no signs of mercy or backing down.

"You given up yet?"

"No..."

Toxigo held his hands onto the Alicorn Amulet and his eye changed back to dark red illuminating in her face. As if the light wasn't enough pain, she began to feel it in her heart as she felt and saw a stream of energy fly out of it, going right into Toxigo's heart.

Soon his body began glowing bright minty green with the magic. His ears transformed back into pony ears again, his hair grew lustrous and long, and he began floating up into the air once again.

And as he floated, he pulled out from underneath the waist coat a small envelope, and ripped off the amulet around his neck, holding it in his prosthetic grip. As more magic came flying into his heart, the pain was now beginning to grow. He couldn't hold in all of that power.

Toxigo began screaming in pain as the magic filled into his system, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, his prosthetic hand just shot right out of its socket firing towards the ground and crashing underneath some rubble. Soon he felt one his synthetic ears fire itself right off, and following that his prosthetic foot exploded into nothing but spare parts. His demise had begun...

Weakly and slowly, Chrysalis opened her green eyes to face Toxigo still glowing with the energy inside his body, beginning to make him suffer.

"Why... save... me? You know...there's no saving yourself...." Chrysalis weakly asked.

Toxigo faced her with one eye glowing due to the power, while the other one kept firing another laser beam.

"Because I don't want myself saved. I want my friends safe, and that means keeping you safe from the power overload." Toxigo wheezed.

"You knew I was going to die?"

Tox gave a nod replying to her question.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Chrysalis asked.

"Would... y-you have believed me?" Tox asked.

Chrysalis sadly shook her head no. She didn't think any of it would be happening.

More energy beams kept blasting from him. Cracks of shining green and yellow were forming on his chest, and pieces that were falling off were firing off energy. His eye kept blasting laser beams, more bits of metal started falling off, and he began screaming in pain.

"Agh... THIS... HURTS... SO... MUCH!"

Soon the magic began emanating from his fists and he launched magic balls like crazy which started destroying more of the buildings and causing more explosions and destroying more of the city. Not only that, but changelings burst through the buildings as well trying to escape their impending doom.

By now, the Royal Sisters had come back and heard about what was going on. Luckily they had all citizens evacuated from the area, and they received the order to head back towards their ship.

"We must leave now!" Celestia ordered.

As everyone was about to head onto the ship, Sunset turned around and began running back.

"Sunset! No! We have to leave!" Princess Twilight pleaded.

"You go! I have to go back for him!" Sunset yelled not looking back towards them.

Rainbow groaned and was about to charge after her, until--

"No, you guys keep going, I'm getting her back!" Indigo barked and she chased after Sunset.

Not questioning her demand, the group activated the ship and began to take off into the air as Indigo ran after Sunset.

As fires erupted, and explosions went off, the wind blew past their hair as they ran over to the middle of the street as they watched Toxigo slowly fall apart.

"No.... Toxy..." Sunset whimpered.

Chaos and destruction surrounded them, offering no relief or chance away from the impending danger. Sunset in a bit of fear latched herself onto Indigo who held her tightly.

"Sunset I'm so sorry we ever hurt him in the first place! I never thought it would end for him like this and I wish I could take it all back!" Indigo quickly confessed, under stress of the destruction around them.

"Its okay! I'm just happy you came back to help him at the last minute when he needed it!" Sunset shouted back.

Soon both of their attention was onto Chrysalis who weakly stood up looking furious. "There's no where to run! And now... you will join him in death, only this time...you'll die by me!"

Sunset wept into Indigo's shoulders, and Indigo held onto her staring savagely at Chrysalis. It looked as if their end had come soon enough.

But as luck would have it, the CHS Wondercolt came down hovering right above the streets, extending a loading stairs from the side for them to run up of, going another door leading to the main control room.

"Look!" Indigo exclaimed.

Suddenly Twilight hung on the side and gestured for them to get in.

"Come on!" Twilight shouted over the explosions, extending a hand for them to get up.

Sunset and Indigo quickly ran towards the stairs and climbed up, looking back at Toxigo still falling apart.

"Don't look back, just keep going." Indigo said trying to keep Sunset calm.

All three shook as they got inside and another explosion went off shaking them. The explosion hit the ship, slamming it sideways, its landing legs getting tangled in some tarps for some of the restaurant covers. The landing legs retracted from its parking mode, ripping free, but still trailing some debris.

As Indigo grabbed onto the side in the main control room with Flash behind the wheel, human Twilight held onto Sunset tightly who was still shaking.

"Punch it Flash!" Twilight shouted.

Flash did as he was told and hit his foot on the gas pedal which made the engines roar with power. They took off from the ground and blasted through the city as more explosions went off, Sunset and Twilight slammed against their seats, Flash gazing as everything was burning and going up in flames around him, and everything was just going in a blur.

The ship made it through the city going up in flames, and soon a bright flash of light shined and soon enough....

KABOOM

The explosion shook their ship making everyone almost fall to the floor just from the shock wave. They had made it out from the destruction, of Canterlot. Their ship was a little scorched, but they had made it.

"Well... its over. Equestria and Earth, are safe." Indigo said taking in what just happened.

As Sunset breathed heavily from the intensity, she looked at Twilight with a weak smile.

"He did it. He saved us." Sunset said.

"He did, didn't he?" Twilight said. She held Sunset in a hug for comfort. "Don't worry, once the smoke clears, we'll head over to find him. I'm sure he's okay."

Twilight didn't really know if she was okay or not, but anything was possible. She just hoped there was still some glimmer of light for him.
