"Owwwwwwwwwch...." Zeno said as he picked himself up off the floor as the field began to vanish as well as the monsters.

"W-What happened to me?" Spark said groggily as he held his aching head in his hands.

"Jeez pal! When you duel you duel with a fire! That was flipping awesome we gotta do it again sometime!!" Zeno said with a child-like grin as he held his hand out to Spark.

Spark looked at him for a minute before swatting him away and getting up on his own.

"Heh.....You're not worth the effort." Spark said as he walked towards the door, however, before he left he turned back to Zeno with a smug grin.

"But if you ever wanna get your but kicked again you know where to find me."

And with that Spark left, leaving the whole cafeteria quite as everyone tried to process what they had just witnessed. Magic and monsters battling one another with traps and powerful beasts!? Needless to say......Everyone was pumped!!

"THAT. WAS. AWSOME!!!" Everyone seemed to shout as the entire crowd seemed to swarm Zeno with a flurry of questions.

Meanwhile, the three girls Aria, Sonata, and Adagio managed to leave the cafeteria without being spotted by the crowd, however, a group of six girls never lost their sight of them.

Later on, that day Zeno was sitting on the roof eating his lunch and with a loud burp, he pat is stomach in satisfaction.

"PHEW!! Everyone is super pumped! Gotta admit I thought today was gonna suck! But it turned out pretty cool in the end right pal?" Zeno asked as Mystic baby Dragon re-appeared.

"Did you forget the part with those three scary girls and the crazy guy with the bombs! Let me tell you that wasn't very fun at all as far as I'm concerned!" Mystic Baby Dragon proclaimed with an annoyed look on his face.

"Awe! Don't be such a Downer Bud! Besides it could have been a lot worse! HAHAHA!" Zeno shouted with a hardy laugh as Baby Dragon sighed in frustration.

Suddenly the door to the roof opened as Spark came walking out only to freeze as he saw Zeno watching him.

"Why are you in my spot loser?" Spark asked in a frustrated tone but Zeno didn't answer him instead he just gave Spark a big goofy grin.

"I guess great minds think alike! The view from up here is awesome so I came to eat some duel fuel!" Zeno said with a chuckle.

"Duel fuel?.........Really?"

"What!? It sounds cool to me?"

Spark laughed as he sat down and started to eat his lunch while Zeno started to throw a ton of questions like an excited kid at Christmas time. Spark listen a little to some of Zeno's questions but the more he tried to answer one question, Zeno followed up with another. At that point, it was best to just to ignore him.

"You sure do talk a lot...."

Suddenly Zeno felt someone poking him and he turned to see Mystic baby Dragon pointing to the door. Zeno turned towards the door and noticed that it was slightly cracked.

"Hey Spark? I think someone's watching us?" Zeno explained while pointing at the door.

"You just realized that? Jeez, you're slow..." Spark exclaimed as he took a bite out of his sandwich.

"HEY! YOU IN THE DOORWAY! COME OUT ALREADY!"

Spark nearly choked on his sandwich because of Zeno's sudden outburst. The door slowly opened as a girl with blue hair tied up in a ponytail and wearing a red and pink outfit with matching boots walked out with a slight blush on her face.

"Hey....you were one of those weird girls from earlier!" Zeno shouted without thinking on to get bonked by Spark.

"Seriously shut up..." Spark exclaimed as Zeno fell over.

"So why are you here?"

The girl looked down at her feet and after a moment of silence, she let out a frustrated sigh.

"I-I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for what happened earlier.... Cause are singing must have created a lot of problems for you both."

Zeno and Spark looked at one another with a confused look on their faces, however, after her explanation, they both started laughed uncontrollably.

"Naw! It was totally awesome!" Zeno exclaimed with a grin while Spark just waved his hand dismissively.

"For a duelist, it isn't anything new to fight over something ridiculous...But I never thought I would have to duel against a total loser like him."

"HEY!"

As Zeno and Spark argued with one another you could literally see the sparks fly between them. Suddenly the two stopped only to hear laughter coming from their new guest. They looked at one another for a moment and then they both started laughing along with her.

"So what's your name anyways?" Spark asked as the girl came over and sat with them.

"Sonata....My names Sonata."

"Nice to meet ya Sonata! I'm Zeno! And Mr. Grump over here is Spark!" Zeno exclaimed only to get hit by Spark again.

"Oh! I completely forgot! The reason I came up here was to get you guy's help!" Sonata shouted as she reached into her back pocket.

Sonata pulled out a small deck of cards that the two boys instantly recognized.

"You see....I sorta, kinda, really want to.....Learn how to play?" Sonata said with a light blush on her face.

"I see so you came here to get some helpful tips about duel monsters." Spark summarized as he reached over and took the cards she had and examined them.

"Are theses all the cards you have?" Spark asked with a raised brow as Zeno looked over his shoulder at the cards.

"Well....These are the only cards I could get my hands on, cause well my sisters and I aren't exactly rolling in cash." Sonata shakily explained as Zeno nodded his head understandingly.

"I guess that makes since! My deck was given to me so in the end, it must be difficult to get quality cards." Zeno said while rubbing the back of his head nervously.

"Ugh, you're both morons."

Zeno and Sonata's attention shot over to Spark as he stood up and handed her cards back to her and walked off towards the door.

"Meet me after school so we can finish your deck." Spark exclaimed in an annoyed tone as he walked down the stairs.

"Sorry about Spark he's kinda a grump but I promise he's a pretty cool guy!" Zeno explained with a grin as Sonata stared at him with a confused expression.

"Didn't you just meet Spark? How come you're so friendly with him?"

Zeno smiled and walked over to the edge of the roof and watched the horizon. Sonata watched him and felt something strange....Almost like a sense of otherworldliness. His bold smile while staring into the horizon with the wind slowly blowing his spiky hair made him appear much more, for lack of a better term, Free?

"Well, we dueled! And when you duel someone you tend to learn something new about them! Plus Spark and I have an awesome rivalry!" Zeno explained with a confident grin.

Sonata only chuckled at his childish explanation while Zeno sighed before laughing along with her.

Meanwhile In an unknown location....

Five large creatures fought with each other with unbelievable power. One of the beasts covered in a red haze shot out a blast of flames that destroyed everything in its path. Another beast shrouded in yellow light roared as the earth rumbled and broke while another monster covered in black fog unleashed a dark haze the killed all life that became ensnared in it.

"HAVE YOU ALL LOST YOUR MINDS!" A beast bathed in a blue glow shouted as the beast in yellow unleashed another flurry of stones.

"IT'S NO USE AQUARIUS! THEY HAVE ALL LOST THEIR SENSES!" The beast shining in a white light shouted as it unleashed a flurry of white beams.

Suddenly a giant explosion covered the sky as the five beasts were sent flying in different directions suddenly the monsters felt somthing pulling them away.

"IMPOSSIBALE! WHAT IS HAPPENING!"

Five seperate protals opened and started to drag the beasts away, however, just as the dark void sucked away the white beast it managed to escape and flew away.

"I promise my comrades! I promise I will save you!"
