Twisted Fate
Chapter 34: Mood Swings
Previous Chapter Next ChapterFinding Flick was a bit more trouble than the pair anticipated, both because the changeling they were seeking was still on the night shift and thus had gone to bed by the time they went looking for her and the fact that the two drones had appropriated a room. Or in this case, a closet.
"Huh," Max muttered, staring at the drone as she slept while curled up in a black chamber stuck to the closet's wall. It almost reminded him of the chambers of a beehive, only more oval-shaped and sized for a changeling to sleep in. A second chamber was slightly higher on the same wall, likely belonging to Crack. Max set the jar of emotion on the ground of the room before closing the door and walking away, motioning for Crystal to follow.
"Why did you leave her? We came to speak with her, did we not?"
"She's asleep," Max explained. "Golden rule and all that jazz. I'd rather not have her waking me up at all hours. There's also the issue of trying to get a sleepy, grumpy changeling to teach me something. I'll wait until she's up before I ask her. We still have Crack to talk to, then it should be time for lunch."
Crystal nodded, not truly paying attention judging by her tone.
"I suppose. I still find it odd. Drones were sort of...disposable in the Hive."
"Well I see two problems with that," Max shot back with a grin. "One, we don't have a method of resupplying. No new drones are being made right now. The second is that ponies and humans both put a lot of time and effort into keeping themselves and those around them alive. Even the injured, crippled, mentally unwell, what have you. Again, it's the golden rule. If you were in their situation, you'd want someone to help you, right?"
Crystal grunted in response but said nothing, looking around for the second drone. There were a few places he could have been, but they ended up having to ask around for a while before a serving pony managed to direct them to the proper room. A room that to Max's complete and utter surprise was currently being converted into a makeshift hospital.
"No no no! There has to be room between, can we remove the wall here? I need more room than this! I also want the room past that to be set up with multiple beds, yes I'm certain! Where are you going to keep the recovering patients? No, pods are easy and save room, I've already marked on the walls where I want them. Look, I can teach a pegasus how to remove a pony from one, it's easy enough. The issue is I'm going to be the only one making them so it will take time."
The pair found themselves amid a flurry of activity, several mares and stallions of different tribes scurrying around the room and setting up desks, beds, large stacks of clean linens, knives, thread and needles, and several empty bottles along with two that were full of an assortment of emotions. In the eye of the storm was Crack, his hooves currently stained with blood as he worked on a pegasus that was unconscious on a low table. Max recognized the pegasus after a moment, the stallion that had lost a wing during the raid on the bandit camp. The remaining wing had apparently not been properly cared for after the battle and the stallion was now suffering something terrible. Even from the doorway Max could see blistered skin through the missing feathers that Crack was attempting to drain of pus. It didn't last long though. Crack began growling in frustration before noticing the queen in the doorway and calling her over. Before Crystal could even think to object, he was shouting instruction to her and several other ponies. Pulling the wing straight in his magic, he marked a point on the stallion's wing and ordered the proto-queen to sever it. Crystal complied, at a loss as to what else to do at the moment. Max winced as there was a strange noise and several of the ponies helping all jumped back. Crack didn't slow a bit though, tossing the now-disconnected infected limb onto a second table and beginning to stitch the wound shut with a speed and precision that left the ponies staring with their mouths agape.
"The heck are you doing? I need grain alcohol, more thread, and another towel! And a new knife, this thing's almost too dull to use! Medical blades should be kept sharper than any knights sword, understand? A dull blade might not kill your enemy but you can still use it, a dull knife can cause more damage than the actual injury itself and for a medical drone that is unacceptable! Move, now!"
Seeing the changeling back off from the unconscious pony as two other ponies began to carefully move him from the surgery table, Max took the opportunity to approach.
"You have everything you need? I'll be speaking to Princess Luna shortly and be sure to pass on any requests. Including your request to get the room expanded."
"No, not that I can- actually yes. You can ask her to make this official. I had several of these so called doctors go on about how the wings would regrow with time, another was slapping leeches on his patients and calling it a day. I don't even know what those damned things are supposed to do, but I saw their jaws. No buzzing way am I letting someling stick one of those things on my shell and the fact that they swell up like that? Other than the queens', er-princesses' support, I want the knights who were on that expedition to stop in for a quick inspection, make certain there aren't any issues. It only takes one drone with a bad infection to start a wave of illness."
"I'll talk to Luna, that shouldn't be any issue. You already know what you want in a medical facility so I'll gladly throw in with you on that. And yea, leeches are nasty. Can be used for medical purposes if you know what you're doing but just throwing them on the patient and crossing your fingers...hoping for the best doesn't work. They drink blood, so if the patient had a lot of bleeding in an area, fine. But just using them as a cure all? I'll back you on getting rid of that."
Max looked around the room, nodding his head to the pegasus the changeling had just been working on.
"I was there when he lost that wing, it should have been taken care of a while ago. Thank you, Crack. I know you were saying you didn't want to-"
"Stop," the smaller changeling said, holding up a hoof. "I was frustrated with the lack of supplies and the rules. I, the hive medical facility was...for most drones, for most of us it was a chop-shop. We looked at drones, saw if they could be helped quickly without any permanent damage, and if not we put them out of their misery. I didn't want to do that again. At least with this I can take a real shot at helping some of the injured walk out of here."
Max smiled at the drone.
"You do what you need to, Crack. I don't remember a lot of medieval medical practices but know enough about biology to be able to back you up or shoot you down in some instances. I'm sure Luna and Celestia would be delighted to hear they'll have one of the best medical facilities on the planet. Authority was one of the things I was going to be asking Luna about, actually, as it's difficult to help when ponies keep seeing me as some random shmuck who doesn't know what he's talking about. I'll talk to you later on about this if you like but all I ask is that you listen to what the pony doctors suggest."
As the drone opened his mouth to reply Max held up a hoof.
"I'm not saying to do what they say, I'm saying check their experience against your own. A lot of doctors in human history were just educated individuals who studied the body. You have experience, but it's with changelings. Be careful you don't make a mistake by confusing the two as there are tons of biological differences. For instance, you can't just throw them a ton of emotion and expect them to heal. Change out the bandage every now and again, check the wound, clean it if possible, that kind of thing. And for the love of god, boil your tools and wash them in soap or alcohol after each use if you need to re-use them."
"I thought most medical tools were disposed of?" Crystal asked, looking at the larger shape shifter in confusion.
"We don't have the tools. If I thought we could get away with it I'd tell them to smelt the surgical knives after each use, but we can't," he answered with a sigh.
"We don't have the supplies. So he'll just have to do his best with what he has."
Crack nodded in agreement.
"At least my tools are sharp and clean. I'd prefer a bit sharper, but we can't have everything."
"We'll see what we can get you. At the very least we should be able to get you some glassware and keep you supplied with bandages, and I know for a fact that at least one of those wound-care things was legitimate. One of the plants sounds like Aloe. If the plant they're describing is the same here as it was back home, that stuff was used for all kinds of medical purposes, especially burn treatment."
Max turned and left the changeling, hearing the drone beginning to yell more orders to the servingponies before they'd even left the room. One thing was for certain, that drone felt strongly about proper medical treatment.
'Which is good because with as many quacks as ponies likely have wandering around under the title doctor we need all the help we can get. I'll have to talk with him about biology later. That may help him quite a bit.'
"Sir?"
Max turned to find a serving pony standing in the hallway, nervously staring at the two larger changelings.
"Her highness Princess Luna has requested that you join her in an early lunch. If you would follow me?"
<-(0)->
"Hello Maximus, Crystal."
Luna was already seated and served by the time they had arrived at the dining room, a plate of bread, fruit, and cheese before her. Taking his seat, Max managed to hold off his question until they were alone.
"Tia?"
"Doing slightly better but she is sleeping at the moment. She is still very emotional, though. It is unsettling. I was beginning to wonder if I should attempt something similar with spells, a way to separate my emotions. Seeing her like that and knowing it was with an artifact like the Elements, I no longer wish to even consider the idea. If even the Elements of Harmony would leave one so...unwell, I do not wish to consider what my own attempts into such spells would yield."
"Recovery from most injuries is a long process. She has our support, Luna. She'll recover," the stallion assured her. "I started on my mapping today, trying to set up the roads. We're going to have several issues. The ponies in the way and my lack of, well, authority. The Knights know me and know I'm worked not for you and Celestia, but the peasants don't. I also had another run in with a noblemare. I like Redstreak, but she was trying to walk into your sisters room after I left you two alone. She wouldn't listen when I said to wait so I kind of, uh, snapped at her."
He felt a prodding in his mind before Crystal burst into laughter.
"You threatened to adhere her to the throne room's ceiling?"
"I was suffering from emotion overload at the time!" Max said trying to defend himself. "I had just filled a vase with the emotions Celly was radiating, not to mention Luna herself came into the room like a second sun! I almost didn't manage to stumble out of the room and that mare was about to blow past me and walk in unannounced because she's puffed up on self-importance!"
"Redstreak is far from the worst," Luna said, frowning.
"She still thinks that someone who's part of your flock is to be ignored by virtue of lack of status. I know she's not the worst but I swear that if a bunch of Knights tell a noble a wild animal may be in a building some of them would walk in because 'what do the peasants know.' Celestia was just calming down when that mare tried shoving her way in. What do you think her presence would have done to Tia?
"I'm far from a psychology expert, an individual who studies emotions and the mind, but I know what Tia's going through at least in the broadest sweeps. Redstreak's presence was the last thing she needed."
The stallion blew out a breath, deflating a bit. He knew it was only how things worked at this time in the world. The fact that someone who was educated was not of noble blood would be unthinkable, much less having an individual who would stand against nobility or even stranger, step out of their own gender or social roles. Certainly Shimmering Barrier was a stallion noble who had an important job but he was the exception, not the norm.
"I must agree," Luna finally relented. "I shall speak with Redstreak as soon as possible. She may have my ear when it comes to the crops but this does not give her the authority to enter into our bedrooms. I- is that why the guards were present outside the door?"
"I asked them to keep others out in the mean time. Shimmering backed me on it but he was kind of cautious in doing so. I'd appreciate it if you could either send him a note thanking him or even personally telling him that it was me helping the two of you. I know you two are big and important but that..."
Max trailed off as the door swung open, a very flustered Redstreak walking in the door. The mare looked a little unsure of herself as her eyes tracked over the changelings but she puffed herself up when she found Luna was present.
"Your highness. I need to discuss with you the lack of ponies that are working the farms. They-"
Luna frowned, quickly levitating a Scroll to herself from a nearby bag that she had begun to carry with her and looking over the script written out on it.
"You requested twenty ponies for the initial preparation, a group that will be expanded or shrunk as the amount of labor required is properly adjusted. You even had our permission to draft twenty ponies, though not from the Knights. What is the problem?"
"The problem is that only half of the ponies we have are Earth ponies. Pegasus and unicorn ponies are-"
Luna stomped a hoof, cutting the smaller mare off.
"We have said before, Redstreak. We have not the time to specialize our workers. If they volunteer to do the work we require, they shall be accepted."
Taking the momentary silence as an opportunity, Maximus stood up. He walked around the table to stand before the noblemare.
"I don't regret my decision to stand in your path, but I do regret losing control of myself. I apologize for lashing out at you, and for threatening you."
"I understand you may take offense to Maximus' actions but we agree with his actions. Our room is not a place to invade unless the emergency is desperate. The fact that both Celestia and myself have already dismissed this complaint only affirms my belief that Max took proper action. That was why you did not wish to discuss it with him, is it not? He already knows my answer as well as the fact that Celestia agreed with me. Unless there is threat to...uh..."
"Lives or the kingdom?" Max offered.
"That sounds appropriate. We are usually available for most of the day. If we are in our room, we would prefer a little privacy. Unless you would like for us to intrude upon you when you are retiring for the night?"
To everyone's surprise, Luna giggled after the threat, drawing a look of confusion from the mare she was speaking to.
"I do understand the that you mean well, Redstreak, but there are times that I will wish to rest. Be it after seeing to the removal of bandits or a simple illness as Tia now suffers from, quiet and isolation are sometimes best for us."
Crystal frowned and was about to open her mouth but Max cut her off, giving her a quick blast over the link to interrupt her.
"Maximus and Crystal are of our flock and as such have our trust. If I was to fall ill, I would trust no other with my health."
"I appreciate that, Luna. Thank you," Max almost whispered.
"You have been aiding Celestia and myself almost constantly, even before we formed a flock. It would be foolish if I did not support you in turn, especially as I ask things of you. 'Twas foolishness on my part to send you out into the hamlet to see to the planning of the roads without making certain the Knights and peasants understood that you act in our stead. My stead, at least. I will not speak for Tia."
"So you do not plan on punishing him for his actions?" Redstreak balked.
"We would have him apologize of course, which he did of his own will. He is our seneschal, Lady Redstreak. I fully support his decision to block the bedrooms from invasion when the matter is complaints such as those you were bringing forth or regular petitions. We still require rest, after all. Should I become ill, I do not believe I shall have any tolerance for such things. You have become spoiled with constant court. I shall keep my herd in check, but do not allow your self-importance to become bloated just because you survived the cull. In truth it means little, as it means you did as you said you would. Do not expect special privilege for being one of the few who did not take advantage of our distraction and naivety."
"Now, if there is nothing else, Lady Redstreak, I would appreciate the opportunity to finish eating lunch. Maximus, if you could check on Tia for me, I would appreciate that. The Knights on guard have our orders to retrieve one of us in the event of her waking, however I would rather she have somepony she could trust nearby upon waking."
Max nodded.
"Take Crystal with you. If something comes up and I need you, she can pass the message. Crystal, if I contact you but can't get my point across, assume something has happened. Heck, use my eyes if you need to. I know you can."
The changeling mare nodded cautiously, looking about the room uncertainly as the two other flock members made their plans. Redstreak seemed to have deflated with Luna's warning and left, grumbling under her breath and giving off an irritated mix of emotions as she closed the door behind her.
"It's nothing personal, Crystal," Max soothed a few moments after the earth pony noble left. "Control of information is important. Sometimes that means under or overstating things. If I were to go into the village and tell those ponies Celestia had driven herself crazy with the Elements, they'd all panic. How quickly she recovers doesn't matter. In this case, Tia just needs some rest as her mind readjusts. She'll be better soon, and she'll likely taste better too. Luna, I will try to get her to dinner if it's possible. I don't know how long this will take, but we'll play it by ear. If you could also find Twist and...damn. I went out with two Knights to plan the roads. They knew my plans and knew the markers weren't important just yet. If you could back them up and help them I'd appreciate that."
"Crack has also taken several rooms for a medical facility," Crystal reminded him.
"Oh, yes. When you see Shimmering, tell him Crack would like to check the Knights that were just out with Tia and I for any sort of cuts or injuries that have become infected. If you could give that drone the go-ahead for his project to remodel some of the rooms into an infirmary, he'll keep working on any injured you send him."
Rising from his seat, the stallion made his way around the table and gave Luna a kiss on the cheek, followed by a quick nip on the neck that caused her wings to flutter. Even as the mares began giggling he made his way into the halls. It was best not to leave the solar alicorn unattended for too long.
<-(0)->
Max had dozed several minutes after arriving to watch the alicorn, having realized too late that unlike Luna he couldn't read or write anything the ponies could use. Sure he could have used English and had Crystal translate it, or at least he assumed he the mare could do that. But he hadn't slept all that well while sleeping in the guest room next door to Celestia. Perhaps he was becoming used to sleeping in a pony-pile?
He shifted a bit as he woke up, sensing a powerful source of emotion nearby and very likely directed at himself. He'd already managed to dampen his reception a bit, something that still bothered Crystal to know, so it wasn't overwhelming but it was definitely powerful. Opening his eyes, he found the alicorn he was minding staring intently at him.
"Evening," he yawned before looking out to the still-slightly bright light leaking in through the window. "Or afternoon."
"Afternoon," she corrected. "Evening starts around dinner time. Are you feeling well?"
"Fine. 'm fine, just tired. Think I got used to sleeping with someone else. Bed was a bit on the small side, too. I'll sleep better tonight. How are you feeling?"
"I am...not certain. I feel much happier, but there is something else, like I am perhaps too happy?"
"Better an upswing than a downswing," Max muttered as he sat up on the couch. He rolled his neck, slowing as he noticed the mare staring curiously at him.
"Anything you need?"
"I do not know. You said that I may speak openly with you, correct?"
"Absolutely. Anything you need to say, you can say to me. No judging. I may tease you a bit though."
"Do you think I'm pretty?"
Max froze. There was a hundred ways this could end, all of them being horrible outcomes that left the mare standing before him a broken mess. With Celestia's emotions running so high, he couldn't really pick up her full range of emotions through his filter. That left him with his wits and a bit of experience with two other emotionally distraught mares against a single mare who was not only teetering on the brink of a possible emotional melt-down but was also running on such high emotions that she'd gone from emotionally blank to mentioning suicide over the course of a few moments.
'I am so fucked.'
"You, you don't...am I ugly? Is that it?" Celestia asked, her emotions swinging quickly enough that he could feel it even through the filter.
"No, you're not ugly. You're a very pretty mare, Tia. I told you that already, I will say it again, and I will continue to say it for as long as I know you. You. Are. Beautiful," he said, emphasizing the words with a poke to her chest with each word.
"You make Luna feel beautiful, right?"
"No, Tia. I am not going to do that with you."
"Why not?!?"
"Because you're recovering. In a week, if you're feeling better and you ask me? I'd be happy to. Luna and Crystal would both-"
"I did not ask about them! I do not care what they think, I asked why you found me to be unappealing!"
"I find you very appealing," Max snapped back. "Your wings are soft, your horn is smooth, your coat nearly glows, you're smile is wonderful, you really should smile more in fact. Do you want me to continue?"
Though the question was rhetorical the alicorn nodded vigorously, scooting closer to the couch.
"Uh, okay...you are physically strong, which is somewhat scary to people but I know you're on my side so it's a plus. You raise the sun, you're a powerful spell caster who will only grow stronger in time, you are maturing into a good leader, ponies look up to you, heck in time everyone may look up to you. You-"
Celestia put her hoof to his muzzle, silencing him.
"Go back to the others. About me. What makes me pretty."
"You mean what makes you beautiful? Maybe your eyes, maybe the sound of " He asked, causing her cheeks to tint but drawing no other reaction. Smiling at her; he poked her nose with a hoof. "A ton of ponies think you're beautiful, Sunny. Many would give everything they own just to see you laugh or see you smile."
"And what would you give?" She whispered, leaning closer. "What would you do?"
"I'd risk getting sick to carry you when you're hurt. I'd risk getting hurt to help you learn to fight. I'd risk my life following you into a battle to make sure you don't get ambushed. And I'd risk a night sleeping by myself to keep you and Luna together."
He pushed her back slightly and stepped off of the couch.
"I love you, Tia. I love you so much I'm willing to stay here with you when you aren't feeling well. I want to see you get better. But more than that?"
Max gave the mare's horn a quick lick, spreading a very thin layer of adhesive on the horn.
"More than that I'm willing to do anything to make sure you don't hate yourself later. What did I tell you earlier?"
"I don't care," the mare said, her mood swinging again. Tears began to well up in her eyes and she pushed forward, placing her hooves on either side of his neck. "You make Luna feel pretty, make her feel beautiful. I want that. I want you to make me feel beautiful. I-I want you to do...that to me."
"You still can't say it without falling to pieces can you?" Max chuckled, pulling the distraught alicorn into a hug. "What did I tell you earlier? I said that in a week, when you feel better, I'd be willing to do anything you're up for. If that includes making a beautiful mare feel beautiful? I'd be happy to help."
Celestia pulled back from the contact horn sputtering as she attempted to use some spell on him.
"What? Why can't I-"
"I'm not stupid, Sunny. You're in a very delicate place right now. You're scared-"
"I'm not scared!"
"-of how others will treat you and you want to be certain of their affections. So you know what? I'll give you a little preview."
Levitating the mare into bed on her back, Max jumped up and straddled her. Kissing her neck several times, he gave her a quick, venom-filled bite before she could struggle free.
"I'd start simple. A kiss on the cheek, the neck, maybe a nip to the shoulder or wing to let you know I'm there. It would be at night of course, closed windows that would leave the bedroom almost completely dark. With my shell you wouldn't see me very well, maybe a quick flash of moonlight off of the chitin. I'd kiss you on the lips, maybe teach you how to kiss someone deeply. You know, explore their mouth with your tongue. Check the shape of their teeth and their mouth."
The alicorn had looked angry at the bite, but that was slowly fading. Now she was staring at him intently, the mare's wings extending as her cheeks tinged pink.
"I'd start to trail kisses down your body, all the way down to you teats. May play with those for a little. Not as sensitive as a human female, but I still like them. That's hard-wired. Then I'd get to those wonderfully soft pillows of you have attached to your body. Nip and play with those for a while. Then we get to the fun stuff."
The mare below him swallowed thickly, her wings fully extended against the bed but unable to move with the effects of his venom rushing through her blood.
"I'd start off simple. A lick, a breath. All as I watched your sex inflate. It does that, you know. Gets swollen as you become aroused. I think it's to help catch the male, give him some directions to help find the hole. Yours might be getting swollen right now, actually. It will start leaking a little bit of fluid, too. Helps make penetration by the male easier. A wet penis just slides right into a properly prepared vagina. That would come last, though. First I'd explore your canal with my tongue. I can do it pretty well, too. Maybe even reach the very back. Anyway after that comes the actual intercourse. I'd likely use my magic to make sure it lines up properly, don't want to get the wrong hole after all. I'd push forward, and you'd feel all five rings scraping along your most sensitive points and setting off nerves you didn't even knew existed. That could last anywhere from a few moments to several minutes depending on our mood and experience. Orgasm soon follows, a white wave of pleasure that just seems to make everything else fade away. Then we sit here for a few moments, just cuddling and being close to each other."
He relaxed onto her stomach, ignoring the mare's attempts to move or speak. Instead he leaned into her ear.
"I'd do all of that. Maybe a bit more. And that would just be the first time. Any night you ask me to, Tia. But first you're going to heal. You will wait one week, as that is the minimum time I think it would take an alicorn to ride through their back-logged emotions, and after that I will do anything you ask. If you want to train in the yard, I'll do that. If you want to play chess, we can do that. Making paper airplanes? Sure. Asking me to force you to climax, to orgasm until you can't see straight? I'd love to. But not before I think you're all there. Until then, I'll sit right here. If you need to cry about something, or yell at me, or flirt with me, you can.
"We love you, Tia. Don't forget that."
It was several minutes of silence that followed, brought on by both the venom and the white alicorn's mental instability. When she finally did find the physical and mental strength to answer, she reached up and hugged him tightly to her barrel.
"I'm sorry, I don't- I was being horrible and-"
"You're mood and emotions are swinging all over the place, I know. I had to basically turn my ability to detect and eat emotions off or I'd get dizzy from your swings. But I'm still here, right? I'm still sitting with you because you're important to me."
<-(0)->
He kept his promise, staying with the alicorn through it all. Enraged shouting that only ended after a nip to a part of her body, lust-filled attempts to seduce him(one of those caught him off guard and left him drunk for several minutes. Luckily she couldn't find his equipment), and tear-filled nights of self-recrimination. As time passed the swings became less violent, less extreme. Moods could be triggered still and often were as part of the healing process as well as to test how well she was recovering. By the time Celestia was sleeping alone again, she was doing well enough to appear among the Knights and nobles. A few days after that and she was ready to help again. The task she chose to help with, however, left Maximus more than a little concerned.
She was going to oversee the clearing of the path for the new road out of the keep.
Some of the ponies would tug at her heart, others would anger her, still others may test her patience. The mare could be a walking bomb and she was going to be walking out into a town of matches.
"I'll go with her," Max offered, looking cautiously to the white alicorn. "Tia? Tia, look at me."
She turned to him curiously, ears perked.
"I'll back you up when you go to the town. If I say we need to leave, though, we head back here and relax for a while, okay?"
"Maximus, I'm fine. I don't need you to-"
"Please listen to him, Celly," Luna added, looking at the white mare with a hint of fear. "We only worry about you. You know that. He is only going to be there for your safety."
Max put a hoof on the solar alicorn's shoulder.
"One of those ponies threw a rock at me. I don't think they'll do the same to you, but some of them may try to fight for what they've claimed as their land. You know, even though it's your front yard."
She was silent for a moment as she rolled the thought around in her head before nodding.
"Very well, I shall accept your escort. Thank you, Max. Let us be off."
"Not so fast, Tia," Luna called to the retreating mare. "Breakfast first."
Celestia stopped in her tracks, her stomach rumbling in agreement. She giggled sheepishly before making her way back to her seat, filling her plate with a myriad of foods before digging in, radiating a warm happiness in an intensity the changeling had never seen from her before. It brought a smile to his face. A simple bout of curiosity on his part, possibly saving the solar alicorn an eternity of damage. Looking at the two smiling alicorn princesses as they ate their breakfast, he felt a smile break out on his own face. Three happy mares, where once there were none. He could do this. He'd see them through this first hurdle and he'd be with them for as long as life allowed.

Just as an FYI to all of you who enjoy seeing Canon get shredded before it even has a chance to be say hi, I recently came across another story that threw things out the window because of Discord. It just went about it differently. Discord's Rewrite's a pretty silly story, you may enjoy it. No sex so far, but there's definitely some waggling eyebrows.
