Chapter 5 Twivine’s Reign

“Finally I found it” came a ghostly voice

As the cave let in a fraction of light, it was not was illuminating the cave but the pool in the centre of the massive cave. As a shadowy figure stood in front of it he levitated out a book and began to read the manuscripts and then the pool began to glow brighter and brighter until it stopped

“Wake up your time has come to twist this world and take what was rightfully yours” said the figure as he then dropped seeds into the pool then the pool began to move

Then a body came out of it but as soon as it saw the figure a plunder vine shot towards it and stopped

“Why did you release me?” came an all too familiar voice

“To help you make this world pay for defying Omega” said the figure, sounding worried

“Oh forget him that we have alicorns to hunt down” said the alicorn

Her color was purple and her mane was black except for the 2 strands of hair that were mint green and purple; the same on her tail. Her cutie mark was a mint green 6 spiked star with smaller black ones surrounding it. And her eyes were purple with predator like pupils; she also wore a tiara on her head and then she spoke again

“The reign of Twivine Sparkle has come ahahahaha!”

Her voice echoed through-out the forest; but as Twivine began to prepare the one thing standing in her way was enjoying his time on a sunny summer day.

As the sun shined on another day In Ponyville; ponies were enjoying this day like no other as the sound of laughter was heard through the park and Ponies sat around talking with each other as the day went by. The flowers bloomed a variety of colors and the trees where as bright as the sky above as birds chirped in the leaves. Then a certain Pegasus was walking through the park his mane blew in the calm wind and his metal limbs lightly clanked against the ground. But all was not so great as a certain earth pony gave him a disgusted look then the Pegasus took notice and rolled his eyes as the pony approached.

“So you going to slander me some more or can you just move please?” said Blaze as he gave an unamused look

“Well, well, well the traitor returns; I thought I told you to stay away from theses ponies?” said the pony

His mane and tail were gold and his coat was grey and had a cutie mark of a golden bar; as his angry brown eyes looked towards the obvious cyborg as he spoke  

“Well first the princess told you to well in my terms fuck off but I guess you have trouble hearing my friend so please move” asked Blaze as he began to try and walk around then he was blocked again

“Just because you slap wings on a weak and utterly useless horn head does not mean she can tell me what to do. I work a lot harder and I consider that keeping a monster around the town is a bad move” said Goldenbar then he noticed Blaze’s expression, it was calm but his eyes weren’t

“Let me through or else” he said in an angry tone “and if you ever call my friend useless again I’ll make this scene you pulled more remember able”

“Just like a mon-“then he noticed that Blaze was already behind him as he continued to walk off and everyone went about their business

“(Sigh) I really need to get something sorted with him” said Blaze as KAI spoke

“Well next time just show him why existence is so irrelevant to him” said KAI in a positive voice

“Yea I guess I could but until then lets just get what we came to get” said Blaze as he continued to walk

He continued to walk through the town as some ponies called out to him and others waved as he then continued to smile again.

As he continued to walk through the market a certain earth pony came up to him wearing a hat.

“Howdy Blaze; watcha up to?” asked Applejack as she walked beside him with a smile

“Nothing much just going to get a certain book from Twilight, why?” asked Blaze

“Well I was wondering if you could come by later and help me out with a task” said Applejack

“Well I just need to do a few things but after that I could come help” said Blaze as he began to think but shrugged it off

“Hey what is it Blaze? Something bothering you?” asked Applejack with a concerned face

“Oh nothing just…” said Blaze but he stopped and continued to just walk, then he felt a nudge at his side to see that he was about to be questioned. Great

“Was it him again?” asked Applejack

Blaze nodded not wanting to face her as he faced down

“Why don’t you just get Twilight to deal with him sugarcube?” said Applejack

“Well unless you want me to make a scene again; no” said Blaze as he remembered back to a day where he insulted Rainbow Dash

*FLASHBACK*

5 days after Blaze’s return

“How dare you interfere you wrenched Pegasus; you’re just as bad as him; you could have gotten us killed when he attacked you winged freak!” shouted Goldenbar as he stood in front of Rainbow as she began to get angry from his comment

As the crowd of ponies formed around them Blaze then stepped in front of Rainbow as he stared directly into the jackasses face

“If you ever insult my friend again I’ll make you pay; now go you grounded worm” said Blaze in a grim voice as his eye shown a glimpse of purple but then he looked around confused

“You. You freak you’ll pay for that next time” said Goldenbar as he took off

“What the hell just happened?” said Blaze as he looked around confused

*FLASHBACK ENDED*

“Hey now don’t let that so in so get into your head; you’re better than that” said Applejack as she noticed Blaze smile at this

“Thanks just it’s not him but who ive been acting lately; ive become more violent but I don’t seem to remember what” said Blaze as he face hoofed

“Arg so many questions! I’m not cut out for this! And where did the ground go aha?!” shouted Blaze before he realized that they were now heading down hill and he began to tumble

(Thud, thud, thud)

“Ow why me?”

“Hahahahaha you alright Blaze!” laughed Applejack as she came down the hill and found Blaze face down in the dirt as he grumbled in annoyance

Applejack then helped into his hooves as he stood rubbing the dirt off his face he then turned to see Applejack still laughing slightly before he smiled also. Then without warning he tripped up Applejack who then impacted the ground and then it was Blaze’s turn to laugh his ass off. He then realized that was a bad move as she rose she had a cocky grin as she held in her teeth her lasso then Blaze began to run towards the castle as he was almost caught each time she whipped that thing his way

“You better hope you keep running or else you varmin!” shouted Applejack as she noticed Blaze had stopped in front of the castle door and was holding a note and a book

As she began to catch her breath she asked

“So what’s the book and where’s Twi?” asked Applejack

“Well she said that she’s away practising magic somewhere and the book is about all thing tech and magic and thirdly to avoid getting my backside handed by you I will just disappear” said Blaze as he began to warp away with a grin on his face “see you later”

“Bye you jerk” said Applejack as she turned around and began to walk back to town

As Blaze walked the long road back to his home he pondered on what he said before about the angry personality he developed and why he acted that way. As he continued to walk the dirt path over the hills he approached his outcove of a home; the house built into the cliff and the falls heading over the cliff’s edge and as he crossed the bridge he felt something deep within himself and if felt dark and cold.

As an empty library sat dormant; the endless hall of archives collected dust but one pink alicorn with a mane of pink, yellow and purple sat there reading. But as the minutes went by without a sound only pages turning the loose pages began to fly around the area as it lit up in aura of white light and as it subsided an alicorn fake, Twivine stood there with a grin of delight. The other alicorn stood up surprised but then her expression became one of confusion.

“Uhh Twilight is that you?” Asked Cadance is confusion  

“Hehahahaha hello Princess of Love ive come for something that belongs to me” said Twivine still giving her that crusade grin

“What would that be?” asked Cadance now feeling more weary

“Oh nothing just THIS!” said Twivine as plunder vines shot up from the ground and ensnared her and as Cadence tried to escape she just felt weaker and weaker until they dropped her to the floor

Her eyes became cloudy and he cutie mark gone completely then she stared up at what she thought was Twilight but felt something was certainly wrong-

“Ok seriously of course something is wrong the only comparison to Twilight is well… hardly anything; there colors are completely different. Please don’t do that again” said Blaze as he shouted at the narrator

“Hey I’m telling the story now be quite and wait your turn”

“Fine whatever just don’t be pointing out the obvious…dumbass” said Blaze as he walked away

“Thank god”

“Who- who are you?” said Cadence weakly

“hahahaha the real Twilight now if you excuse me ive got 3 more to find; see you real soon” said Twivine and then she was gone and the vines retreated into the ground leaving Cadence to stumble around towards the exit

“I need to warn the others”

As Blaze walked around the multiple desks in his home he kept glancing at the holographic screen that floated there. He was in the mechanical part of his home; the floor, wall and ceiling were a grey but along the walls a red stripe ran across it.

The tables were covered in books, blueprints and parts as Blaze continued to grab and walk over to the centre as a metal suit stood, suspended in the air as parts were exposed showing the wiring and circuits; other parts plated.

As his metal leg continued to weld and bolt parts together he spoke

“Right we need a hydraulic stabilizer and 2.75 grams of Uranium for the ports”  

“Well don’t you think it would be safer using fire crystals?”  Said KAI as his voice echoed around the building

“Well I guess but if I catch alight again you’re being burned as well” said Blaze as he continued to modify his armor

“Fine but how is the armor coming?” asked KAI

“Well the modifications will be finished by the end of today; I added the ability to negate any magical projectiles and fields that try to encase it” said Blaze as he added the chest plate back in

“Oh and something will be here about now” said KAI as a body teleported in front of Blaze as he flew up and hit the ceiling with a thud

“Ah god dam- wait what’s this?” said Blaze as he flew down a checked to see a letter

Blaze then walked down the hall and began to read

Dear Blaze Hawk

This is very urgent and I require you and Twilight Sparkle to come to Canternlot to meet with me and my sister concerning a threat to Equestria. I wish for you and Twilight to avoid mentioning this to the rest for I can’t risk them being involved. A warp crystal shall be arriving soon to take you here

Blaze looked over the note one more time his expression never changed from his usual oblivious face and continued to walk before saying

“Note to self make better security for some dumbass A.I’S can’t seem to intercept teleportation” said Blaze with a disinterested voice

“Note to self hit you through a brick wall” said KAI

“Yes well notify me when that crystal gets here I’m going to catch some z’s” said Blaze

“Noted have a painful sleep” said KAI

“Still I get why the rest can’t be involved?” thought Blaze out load “meh more head smashing for me”

*Location Unknown*

“Well sir the plan is falling into place it’s all ready for your arrival to-” said the dark figure from before but he was interrupted

“No; let them have their fun but your job starts now Trumpet” said a figure in the darkness

“But I don’t understand” said Trumpet in confusion

“I mean go have fun, fuck with there heads and such I don’t care GO” said the voice clearly unamused by this

“Ok as you wish” then he disappeared and the grim voice became more sarcastic and laughed

“Oh that moron is going to have his entrails around his throat and he doesn’t even know it hahahaha and the name is so perfect; who knew a guy whose crazy enough to build a wall around Mexico would be such a funny name ahahahaha!” said the voice as it echoed

*Location Ponyville*

As the night approached Ponyville; the sky had turned an array of purples as they wisped across the sky becoming darker as the night began to grow. Lanterns lit the streets and the town became quite but 2 entities walked through the still town. One an alicorn with black and mint green hair and purple fur along with black crown and eyes of mint green and purple with purple vapour trailing out from them; the other a black humanoid creature, skin of black and the only features on its face was its blue eyes, void and empty but full of mystery it then spoke

“How much longer before we get to have fun? Like seriously I’m here to cause trouble not lag around with you” as his voice sounded bored and disinterested in the company

“Look you may have brought me back but you have a job to do after that you wait until the rest come then you can have as much fun as you want. All I care about is the last 3 princesses” said Twivine as he scowled at the spiritual entity

“Yes, yes mom I’ll get started with that spell now you just go play princess with the other ok” said Borrower with a sarcastic voice

“You watch it, I can easily break you; limb by limb so I suggest keeping you mouth shut around me darling” said Twivine as she patted him on the head a teleported away

On the other side of town a dark blue alicorn with a mane and tail that glowed like the clear midnight sky; her eyes were a cyan blue and had the cutie mark of a crescent moon. She slowly walked the streets checking every dark corner of the village intent on finding Twivine

“I must keep a look out for Twivine” Luna said to herself

Then a sinister laugh echoed around Luna as a flash of light shone behind her as she turned but seeing that an orb hovered around Twivine which held a heart with a golden bracket surrounding it

“Hello Luna” said Twivine who continued to grin “Now that Cadence is out of the way your next on the list”

“So you are the one who attacked her you shall pay for your crimes” said Luna her voice sounding threatening

“Hahahaha oh please your no match for me!” said Twivine as her voice echoed and then out of thin air vine coiled around Luna grasping her legs

“Grr ah let me go Twivine!” shouted Luna as she struggled against the restraints

Then Luna fired of blue magic towards Twivine but seemed to only be blocked by a forcefield  

“Oh so sorry but I have a job to do and now you magic belongs to me” said Twivine absorbed her magic also

“No Sister help me ahhhh!” shouted Luna but her voice was reduced to a whisper then it was over and she lay there too weak to move and only managed a few words “Sister she’s coming for you…”

“Don’t worry you will all be together soon but for now 2 down 2 to go” said Twivine as she warped away leaving Luna to lay there in the cold night as the darkness surrounded her

On another side of town Celestia stood in the middle of the street her eyes closed; the lanterns groaned as they swung slightly in the night and then Twivine appeared and Celestia opened her eyes revealing the pink eyes and seeing the monster just a few feet away from her as another orb this time of a moon hovered around her.

“So Twivine its you” said Celestia a hint of anger in her voice

“We meet again after so long Celestia did you miss me?” asked Twivine not expecting her to answer “the princesses of the Moon and Love can’t help you now; their magic belongs to me and I've become much stronger now”

“You may have taken their magic but I won’t go down so easily” warned Celestia then she fired off multiple shots towards Twivine just to be blocked by a barrier

“What did I just say?” mocked Twivine

“No this can’t be… I have to get back to twilight fast!” said Celestia

Celestia then spread her wings and flew off into the night then

“Plunder vines grab her… Now!” shouted Twivine as the vine once again appeared and grabbed Celestia by the wings and began ensnaring her and bringing her to the ground again  

Celestia then tried to bring up a forcefield but failed and then felt her magic being drained from her inch of her body

“No, let be go Twivine!” shouted Celestia

“This is the end for you Princess of the Sun” said Twivine as she continued to drain her magic

“No, No, Noooooo!” yelled Celestia as she fell to the ground utterly weak and struggled to rise to her feet

“Finally, I've consumed Celestia’s magic; now only 1 remains… Twilight Sparkle!” said Twivine “oh and I've left you all some energy to make 1 teleportation became I'm feeling generous” then she was gone

*Back at Canternlot*

“Soooo when do you think they’ll be back? I mean I hope they defeated Twivine but why leave us out of it we could help” said Blaze as he sat on the floor rubbing his hoof in curricular motions on the ground, completely hypnotised by the action

“I don’t know but they should have finished Twivine off by now and also if we headed down there to help we may end up messing up their plans, and by us I mean you” said Twilight as she pointed a hoof towards Blaze as he looked up

“Hay I don’t muck up all the time” said Blaze pouting his lip

“Name one” challenged Twilight narrowing her eyes

“How about, um ah, well that one time i-… um Shut up” said Blaze crossing his forelegs in disagreement

“Not so remember able mister cyborg” said Twilight smirking

“I hate you” said Blaze bitterly

Then as they continued to argue a flash of light caught their attention it was the three princesses; they all looked weak and tired and their eyes where cloudy, their cutie marks were gone

“Oh no” said Blaze in surprise

“Celestia!” said Twilight in shock as she flew over followed by Blaze

“Twilight, thank goodness you and Blaze are alright” said Celestia in a weak voice

“Did you defeat Twivine?” asked Twilight

“No we didn’t” said Celestia in defeat

“She is too strong for us” said Luna in response

“She drained us of our magic” said Cadance

No, how could she do this?” said Twilight who fell to her haunches and bowed her head; Blaze just stood there his expression now one of depression

“Do not worry you could still beat her with your rainbow power” said Celestia

“Yes, of course, I have rainbow power!” said Twilight in surprise and felt like they had one last chance

“Yes but be careful she has the combined power of all 3 of us it won’t be easy” warned Celestia

“Don’t worry I have Blaze to-”

“No” said Celestia interrupting Twilight “I need Blaze to handle her helper”

“And who might this be?” asked Blaze

“He is from another dimension and has been toying with your friends, I thought they could handle him that why I asked you 2 to come alone but it seems there’s more to this creature than even we know” explained Luna as she noticed Blaze’s expression become one of anger

“Well then I guess I have some crazy things to do” said Blaze with a grin

“Don’t worry Celestia will beat Twivine and return your alicorn magic” said Twilight as she felt they had a fighting chance

“The fate of Equestria is in your hooves you two” said Celestia “also if the time comes, Blaze you must fight Twivine”

“Wait…WHAT!!?” shouted Blaze in shock “Ok I know I’m strong but Omega was strong but Twivine? She nearly has the power of all of you!”

“Yes but I know that you will prevail for as soon as we can we will come to fight along side you” said Celestia reassuring Blaze

“Alright then… let go kick some flank!” said Blaze in excitement then they were both gone in a flash of light

As Blaze walked through a part of town he wondered who this person was, why is he helping Twivine? And the most important what has he done to his friends?

He continued to walk until he noticed figures in front of him lying on the ground. At first he wondered why but then he recognized them, his friends

“Hey you ok Applejack? Come on wake up” said Blaze as he shook her awake but what he saw was fear not his friend

As he glanced around he seemed to have woken the rest the same fear and dread on their faces

“What happened?” asked Blaze now on edge

“The Burrower he, he did something to our heads” said Applejack as she shook the feeling off “he can mess with your head”

“Well then that’s new” said Blaze in surprise “Ok help the rest and keep your distance”

“Why?” asked Applejack

“I know you’re here show yourself!” shouted Blaze as he saw Applejack move the rest out of the way then a ghostly voice sounded out

“So you finally arrived; I was afraid you won’t make it to your… awakening” said The Burrower

“What are you talking about?” asked Blaze with his smile still on his face

“Oh still refusing to admit the truth that hides behind that smile?” said Burrower as he appeared in a cloud of smoke his black body and void eyes looked towards Blaze

“Let me put it in perspective killer; you refuse to let your sword do what it yearns for, what it drives for… blood” said Burrower grimly

“That not what it’s meant for it’s meant to help me protect everypony” objected Blaze

“Oh spare me the lies you knew what you felt when fighting the cyborgs now you feel the adrenaline pumping, you enjoy their pain; even now your acting more erratic are you not?” questioned the Burrower

Blaze began to quiver a bit as he shook his head his smile gone replaced with fear

“Blaze don’t let that bozo get to you” said Rainbow as she looked at Burrower in anger

“You stay out of this unless you want to still be a hero and risk the lives of thousands just over a petty grudge you weakling” snapped Burrower

“Shut up; don’t bring her into this and get out of my head” said Blaze as he felt the voices begin echoing in his head as he clenched in pain

Murderer, executioner, killer, monster, psychopath…

The voices got loader and loader as Blaze finally yelled in anger and fell to his knees and the voice stopped

“Don’t fear it’s only what your true colors are; and now its time to pay” said the Burrower

Then 4 cyborgs appeared 2 moving closer and closer to Blaze as they began to prepare for an attack. Time grew slow and a new voice echoed in Blaze’s head

Come on let me help you, let me be your wrath, your power, your vengeance, let me free

As time resumed the cyborgs stopped dead in their tracks as they heard Blaze speak his head low, unable to see his face

“Your right, about me” said Blaze in a gloomy voice

“No” whispered some of his friends behind him

“I knew something was off, for while actually” said Blaze “I thought I could continue being myself, my cocky, dimwitted self… but now I’m just waiting to die”

“So you finally came to terms with yourself?” asked Burrower

"You know i really have to thank you; you've shown me that no matter the person they always have a limit... and you just broke it" said Blaze grinning wider than thought possible

“As the days grew on It started to feel good, really good, the carnage the pain from wounds the… fun” said Blaze as an aura of dark purple faintly glowed around him “but now I see who I really am meant to be”

“Who?” asked Burrower

“I say its time for Neckros to have some fun” said Blaze his voice changed to a raspy more demonic version of his own as he stood up

Then before the bots could get an order Blaze slowly upholstered his blade and then what happened next sent panic and surprise thought everyone

Blaze stood upright and plunged the blade straight through his chest, as he fell coughing up blood and the blood oozing from the wound he shockingly stood up making a slightly gargled laugh

"Hahahahaha who knew this would be so much fun; the pain and suffering is sooo good hehahahaha i had strings... But. Now. I'm. Free..." said Blaze in fits of laughter

His friends said nothing

“What the?” was all Burrower could manage  

Blaze’s body then turned to his human form as his hands became black and his figures were like knives, his feet the same, his clothes changed to a cloak with a small cape coming off the end near his waist, trousers black with stitches.

Up the middle the cloth was stitched, he also gained a red belt and to red bands around the end of his arms along with red stripes on his shoulders. As more stitches appeared on parts of his clothing and the high sides of his collars surrounded his neck. He then began wrenching the blade out of his chest

“Hate, lies, fear, sadness, greed, disloyalty, cruelty these full my wrath” said Blaze as he relieved the blade from his chest splattering blood as he threw the blade towards his friends.

As a flash of purple light shone for a second and subsided they all saw… something not blaze. It had to tendrils snaking around his sides and a tail as well, spiked at the end. 2 massive black wings with 4 scythe-like spikes sticking out, the size of real ones.  

Then his face was revealed, black as the night and hair of black but his eyes were just purple, no other features just purple circles glowing in the night; but his smile was white as day and as big as his face would allow it

“This is my true nature” said bla- no Neckros "So like i said i must thank you ive been waiting for him to let go"

“No ki- kill him” stuttered Burrower

As the 2 cyborgs rush Neckros, he then dropped down and spun his legs slicing the 2 in half. He leapt up and crushed one’s head under his foot, the other was lifted and its head was crushed between his hands as he laughed

Neckros then taunted the others as they dashed forward, the first lost both its arms and then diced in half and kick flying into a building and the other was impaled with Neckros’s 2 tendrils and with a grown of metal it was ripped in half and each piece thrown away like trash

Neckros's Song

“Hehehehahaha your next for the slaughter” said Neckros as he pointed a finger towards Burrower

“I no you, you monster!” shouted Burrower now feeling fear instead then he stood his ground a staired towards the thing

“oh come on now that’s harsh but then again your anger and the other negativities just fuel me inch by inch so please just give me some ideas” said Neckros sounding cocky

“I’ll kill you! So come on you necromantic demon!” shouted Burrower as he prepared to fight his void eyes narrowing

“Ooooh Necro demon I like it but instead of just fighting I'm going to do what this dimension does and that’s in song! And in the end you will only see my face as I rip your lungs from your chest. So sit back and relax everypony for it’s time for Neckros to let er rip!” shouted Neckros as he laughed…

As Neckros began to sing he was struck with multiple attacks, ripping and slashing away at his body and then one completely took off his right arm only to be back where it belonged in a matter of seconds along with the other slashes. He then teleported behind Burrower and grabbed his arm and in one twist he broke his arm forcing him to let out an ear piercing scream only to be silenced by a hand as it threw him by the jaw into the air. He then felt a sharp pain erupted from his back as he felt it break from Neckros’s legs smashing into him as he plummeted into the ground, even without a mouth his yells of pain echoed in the night and the only other thing begin heard was Neckros singing

Burrower then got up and held his arm in pain and tried to attack and was just shoved to the ground and as he looked for a way to escape purple flames surrounded the area making it impossible to flee.

Neckros was then sliced in half by a spike jutting out of a building but he just regenerated and kept going, his smile never fading.  

Then as he saw Neckros fly towards him he saw his moment, his lifeline, he jutted a spike from the ground impaling Neckros through the heart as he stopped only inches from Burrower’s face. He then began to laugh as he spoke when he heard Neckros’s voice die down as his head fell downwards.

You think you can kill me, no one can kill me, no soul too great, no blade too sharp, and I shall be your reckoning

“You foolish monster you thought you could beat me hehaha” said Burrower as he was about to walk over to the rest but something moved in his vision

He stood there unable to move for the darkness crept around him feeling like it shackled him to the spot he stood as he saw Neckros raise his head with a grin on his face but only said

“This is the end of you…; you could not get the best of me…, now justice will be served…, oh well live and learn…” Neckros sung sounding grim

Before he could react he felt pain explode in his stomach as he noticed a tendril impaled in his body, then another and then Neckros’s two hands. He screamed in agony as he saw the hole in Neckros disappear and he then began to feel his flesh ripping and tearing until his world went black. The last thing he heard was a song ending and the evil grin of a demon as the blood showed around them and not a single drop on Neckros…

“All I see is purple instead… Hahahahaha!!!” laughed Neckros in the cold night

As Applejack and the rest watched in horror, Fluttershy turning away as well as the rest only Rainbow Dash and Applejack facing “IT” as it tore Burrower in 4 pieces and chucked them away like it was nothing but an obstacle in his way. Then the fires died down and the pieces of Burrower disappeared forming into an orb of light which was crushed in Neckros’s hand then he turned still smiling away like it was normal

“Hahahaha I haven’t had that much fun in a long time, plus I guess I have to “cut him some slack" Hahaha oh that’s good” laughed Neckros as he saw the 2 just staring at him with fear and anger

“Bl- Blaze?” asked Rainbow in fear of what happened to her friend

“No, not Blaze, Neckros and besides I’m done… for now” said Neckros bluntly “Oh and before I go let me just clarify, I can’t be killed by any means and pain just makes it more… enjoyable”

“What are you?” asked Applejack wearily

“I am Neckros the Necro-demon and I. Am. Your. Reckoning!!” said Neckros before flashing purple and leaving only a wobbly Blaze in his place

“Oh god I think I’m going to be sick” said Blaze holding a hoof to his mouth he then put I down and noticed the 5 staring at him

“What?” was all that the 5 could manage

“What happened Blaze?” asked Rainbow sounding more concerned that anything

“I don’t know? All I could do was watch like I was being controlled and after stabbing myself I just felt the world around be disappear as I could only see darkness and laughter?” said Blaze as he shook his head in confusion then pinkie piped up

“Oh you went all loco and turned into some weird demon thing that sung as it beat the Burrower guy until he disappeared and turned into a weird orb which was gone in seconds, then he spoke about being unkillable and then disappeared and then you’re here now” said Pinkie at a rapid pace as she smiled

“Well look I rather forget about it and go help Twilight” said Blaze who began walking past the rest

“Why what’s Twilight doing?” asked Rainbow

“She’s fighting Twivine without any other help” said Blaze in a normal tone

“Wait what!” shouted everyone

“Let’s go everypony!” shouted Applejack as they ran down the street into the night but what they heard was their friend yelling in pain…

As Twilight ran towards her castle, now covered in plunder vines she slid down the hill and saw Twivine wait for her, smiling. Twilight did not share this emotion

“Hahahahahaha, your time has come Princess of Friendship” said Twivine

“Twivine, its you” said Twilight angrily “You’ll pay for what you have done

“Once I drain you of your magic I shall gain. My Ultimate Form!!!” said Twivine

“I will not let you get away with this!” shouted Twilight preparing to fight “Are you ready?”

“For your defeat yes” mocked Twivine

“This ends here Twivine!” shouted Twilight

As Twilight blasted a ray of magic towards Twivine she did the same and they clashed but it did not last long Twilight could not withstand the power of Equestria’s most powerful magic wielders and was shot back by the bolt. And then 2 plunder vines almost caught her off guard but she flew up and avoided their grasp

I got to be careful when she summons those plunder vines

As Twilight fired bolt after bolt it was just avoided or blasted by Twivine’s attacks, Twivine then fired half a dozen blast towards Twilight 3 were blocked with a shield the other broke through sending Twilight crashing to the ground with a thud

“What why can’t I lay a hit on you!?” said Twilight in disbelief as she heard Twivine laugh

“I’m more powerful than you can handle” said Twivine in a normal tone

Its no good she has their alicorn magic there’s no way I can beat her… no pull yourself together Twilight you can do this!

“Alright then it’s time for Rainbow Power!” said Twilight as a bright light flashed and she turned into her form

“Rainbow Power? Really? HA!! My turn” Said Twivine as she two transformed into the same form “Ha how do you like that Twilight?” mocked Twivine

“No you got Rainbow Power as well!” said Twilight in shock her glimmer of hope gone

“Now you will know true pain!!” said Twivine “Now it’s my turn to attack!”

As Twilight prepared to defend she was caught off guard by a blast and almost lost her head had it not been from her reaction to put a shield slightly up but caused her to tumble back. She got up but had to fly out of the blast of a purple orb but it became clear it was worse than what she saw. 20 orbs waited for an order that came and they darted In Twilight’s direction as she attempted to dodge but was hit several times in the back knocking her to the ground with a thud.

As if togging with Twilight, Twivine then levitated Twilight and threw her in the air and ordered a plunder vine to lash out grabbing her back legs and slamming her into the ground with such violence and with every impact she cried out in pain.

Twilight was then dropped like a rock in water to the ground as she laid their in pain her cuts and bruises littering her body

“Sorry Twilight but I've got to save me energy for the real fights, its over” said Twivine

“No, Celestia, Luna, Cadence where are you!!?” said Twilight now panicking whiles trying to stop her ragged breathing

“Don’t worry Twilight Sparkle by the time they get here your magic will be apart of me!!” said Twivine smirking menacingly as her horn charged with magic

“No Twivine don’t do this!!” pleaded Twilight but that just seemed to make her smile more

“Now you shall be nothing but an empty shell” said Twivine

Then as Twivine’s dark purple beam connected with Twilight’s horn she yelled in pain as she felt every muscle tried to pull back but became weak and powerless

“NO TWIVIIIIINE!!!” Screamed Twilight “Noooooo!!!”

As the magic subsided Twilight grunted against the pain as she lay on the dirt ground unable to move, her eyes cloudy and cutie mark was gone, her face only showing defeat

“Yes I finally obtained Twilight’s alicorn magic!” said Twivine in glee “Now Equestria will bow to my will as it should have been long ago Hahahahaha!”

I feel so weak… Celestia…I failed…

“TWIVINE!!!”

“Huh what?” said Twilight as she looked towards the road seeing Blaze and the rest standing their, then before she knew it she had already been teleported by Rarity to the group

“Twilight are you alright?” asked Blaze in concern

“Yes but she did it, she won” said Twilight as she lowered her head

“No it’s not over yet Twilight” said a calming voice as Twilight looked up she saw the other 3 princesses standing there

“But what can we do as far as I can see she’s got all your magic” said Rainbow bluntly

“If you don’t mind I have an idea” said a voice that sounded all too real

“It’s… Neckros” said Fluttershy almost saying nothing  

“Ding, ding, ding, Now if you want to beat her just use your sword” said Neckros as he spoke from nowhere

“I can’t” said Blaze knowing the voice was emitting from his head

“Why can’t you?” asked Twilight

“Because she’s protected by 4 magical orbs my sword can’t cut through magic that strong, sure a lot of things but not that” said Blaze

“Then just unite the souls tin head” said Neckros “Look listen to me that’s if you want to be janitor until you die”

“Fine what” said Blaze annoyingly

Neckros then explained that if he focuses on sensing his own soul he can then sense the souls of others with Neckros’s help. Blaze sat down and focused his mind but asked

“Why are you helping me?”

“Call me a friend” said Neckros

As Blaze blocked every sound out he concentrated and then felt something, he didn’t know what but it was there

“Can you feel it?” asked Neckros

“Yes now I just leave it to you?” asked Blaze

“Yes”

Then after what felt like forever Blaze opened his eyes and saw his Blade glowing and morphing shape in front of everyone as they just stared.

What was left was a blade with a grey hilt and black stone with 2 spikes surrounding it at the bottom, the blade had to light and dark purple spikes poking out the sides pointing towards the blade. The rest ended in a slight curve at the top with a semi-circle missing from the side of the blade and it glowed the colors of the rainbow

Blaze lifted it and felt the power of every living thing beating through it in a rhythm

“I give you the soul blade!” said Blaze in excitement “right I need all of you to stay out of this”

“Why we can help, you don’t have to fight alone” said Applejack

“No I need all of you to recover your strength for the big finish to end this, for once I bring her power down and return your alicorn magic we can beat her together!” said Blaze  “trust me I’ll be fine”

Blaze then crossed his hoof across his chest and covered his right eye “Pinkie Promise”

“Ok then is everypony ready?” said Twilight with more determination

“I am!” said Pinkie putting on a serious face

“Ready for anything Twilight!” said Rainbow Dash

“You better hope you get your magic back because Twivine’s coming right this way!” said Applejack

“Ready when you girls are!” said Rarity

“I’m also um ready” said Fluttershy

“Soon I shall have the power to conquer equestria hehahahaha!!”  Said Twivine before hearing a voice

“TWIVINE!” Shouted Twilight  

“What Twilight Sparkle!” said Twivine in surprise

“Don’t forget the princesses and my friends!” corrected Twilight

“Hahaha what a lovely reunion for these cute little ponies!” mocked Twivine

“Oooooh… what are those thingies?” said Pinkie in fascination  

“These are the 4 orbs Pinkie Pie that contain the magic of the princesses” explained Twivine

“You may have our magic but we’ve got somepony who can stop you and that Blaze!” said Twilight

“Ok you say it like that I feel like the fanbase is going to kill me more for my OC but anyway I see you’ve got some new tings Twivine” said Blaze with a grin

“Blaze Hawk, did you have fun with my slave?” said Twivine but it seemed to go right over Blaze’s head

“Look I’m just going to say your gunna have a bad time now that I’m rocking this new blade!” said Blaze as he walked forward

“HA! With the alicorn magic I possess I can’t be beaten, you can’t win!”

“Don’t worry Twivine he will!” said Cadence

“You just wait until he turns the tides of this battle!” said Luna

“What makes you think he can win?” asked Twivine

“He holds onto the power that everypony has and that’s the magic of friendship!” said Twilight

“That and a sword with the power of gods but yes” said Blaze

“We’ll see about that!” said Twivine as she began to change getting bigger and bigger. She looked like herself only the size of a 2 story building and her hair like the literal empty space; the 4 orbs surrounding her had become slightly bigger

“Alright” said Blaze as he activated his armor and held his blade to his side “Let’s Dance!”

“Prepare to feel my wrath Blaze Hawk! Hahahahahaha!!!” shouted Twivine as her voice echoed

As Blaze dashed forward he began trying to strike at Twivine but a forcefield kept him from getting closer only to end up with a plunder vine grabbing his leg and smashing him into the ground. He let out a grown of pain as he flew upwards and began to slash faster and faster at the bubble of light but failed and instead he was gifted with an explosion of magic engulfing him and sending him into the ground once more.

Blaze kept trying the same tactic but the same outcome occurred leaving him kneeling in pain as certain parts of his body flared with pain, the suit could take hits but he could feel them.

“Really? I thought you were smarter? I really don’t understand how Omega had such a hard time with you” said Twivine as she stood waiting for Blaze to make a move

“Well to answer that its because I don’t give up” responded Blaze “Now ill show you why”

Blaze then shot towards her Once again she prepared for his obvious attack but he teleported left, right, up, down and everywhere in between as he smashed into one of the orbs that began to shock him and as he yelled in pain and anger he plunged his soul blade into the orb making it crack and burst with a flash of pink as the Cutie mark inside returned to Cadance. Blaze slide across the ground as he grunted

“You didn’t think I would use the same attack again did you? Actually don’t answer that” said Blaze sarcastically  

“You- you dare!!” shouted Twivine as her eyes flared with anger and used her levitation to grab Blaze

Blaze was then slammed repeatedly into buildings and the ground as she began to laugh then she dropped him like a rock. Blaze laid there unmoving as the others watched but did nothing as they knew he would never break his promise.

“Oh maybe your not worth my time after all” mocked Neckros in Blaze’s mind

Ok then who about I end this in 5 moves

“Ok then deal” said Neckros as an image of his smile and purple eyes appeared

Blaze then stood up and faced Twivine as she smiled but it was short lived as she saw him dart towards her his blade in hand as he spun in a whirlwind and began repeatedly hitting the forcefield

“Seriously!? This again?” mocked Twivine as 2 plunder vines shot upwards but hit nothing but air

Then she saw Blaze dicing away at Luna’s orb and like the other broke it sending it back to its rightful owner.

“No! Stay away!” shouted Twivine as a dozen blocked Celestia’s and another dozen shot towards Blaze holding him in place as he grunted to break free

“I’ll crush you!!!” hissed Twivine as the vines grip tightened

As they applied more pressure pieces of Blaze armor broke off or were crushed completely and then his helmet broke in half reviling half his smirking face as he then said

“Time to see what my soul and blade is made of!”

Then he began to twist one direction causing some of the vines to twist and snap then he spun faster. Blaze then broke out in a burst of colors as he shot around the sky as a beam of colors and completely slashed through the vines and the orb once again sending it back to its owner

Blaze then landed in front of Twivine

“I call that Rainburst!” Blaze said with a smirk as he then noticed the 20 or so purple orbs hovering around him “Oh um Soooo I guess there’s no saying how very sorry I am?... No good I hate saying that anyway”

The mass of orbs shot towards him then everyone’s eyes went wide as they saw what happened next was just… well I don’t know let me explain

“Hey get back on topic!” yelled Blaze as the memory went grey “I’m about to do something awesome”

Yes whatever now go!

“Yea, yea” said Blaze rolling his visible eye

As Blaze jumped upward he landed on one orb then in a chain reaction he leaped from one to the next at blinding speed getting closer and closer to Twilight’s orb. Then a vine grabbed his leg but was quickly slashed into ribbons. He then plunged with all his might, his blade into the remaining orb as it began to crack as it spread like wildfire then with one final push it shattered sending it back to Twilight

Twivine then yelled in defeat as the shield plus her vines disappeared completely and Blaze landed as his armor disassembled and Blaze holstered his Blaze and walked over to the rest

“No you dare! Noooooo!!!”

“Yes we have our magic back!” Twilight said with joy

“Yes well I do feel like a Bus shaped strangely like a Banana and driven by a pig fell from the sky and crushed me but besides that yay!” said Blaze obviously in pain

“Now we have a chance to defeat Twivine” said Twilight but then…

“You… haven’t beaten me yet!!” Snarled Twivine as Thunder sounded out and she once again glowed white

“Looks like it’s not over yet everypony” said Luna grimly

“Ive got a bad feeling about this” said Fluttershy

“Well this could be bad” said Blaze rubbing the back of his neck

“Brace yourselves everypony!” warned Applejack as an more sinister laugh sounded out

As they look up they saw Twivine who was now as tall as Twilight’s castle her legs were that of a horse and the rest human with a black dress and massive wings of mint green, lavender and purple and horns that twisted to a point that held a orb of chaotic power and the black crown that laid on her head

“Know my name everypony, for I am Queen Tirevine Sparkle, the Goddess Of Dark Friendship!!” Said Tirevine as she looked towards the others like tiny ants “I have never became so strong before, it feels amazing that now I know how Tirek felt”

“It’s not over yet Tirevine. We have enough magic to stop you!! Blaze you ready?” said Twilight

“Yep ready as always!” said Blaze he transformed into his super form; his rainbow wings, extended hair, cloth covering his face and tail also appeared

The rest soon followed as they turned into their rainbow power forms and with the princesses behind them as well; they then flew into the air and hovered in front of Twivine

“Alright let’s finish this together!!!” shouted Blaze as his jacket blew in the wind

“No matter I’ll end all of you once and for all! Take this!!!” shouted Tirevine as she shot a massive bolt of mint green-purple-ish energy towards them

It was then blocked by a golden orb of light surrounding the group with caused Tirevine to curse

“No how- how is this possible!!?” questioned Tirevine

“Your dark magic is ineffective Tirevine, without the alicorn magic you stole your now one step closer to defeat!” Said Twilight

“NO! I can’t believe this is happening!!” shouted Tirevine “NO, I wont lose to all of you! Ive came too far to lose now take this!!” shouted Tirevine

As she shot another bolt the group yelled in unison

“TOGETHER!!!”

Then they shot back a bolt of golden light which connected and then it was the fight between dark and light as there bolts lost and gained ground in order to win then Tirevine blasted with all that was left into the bolt causing the golden bolt to fall back to the point of failure

No, we won’t lose not whiles there’s blood in my veins!

Blaze then shot his arms forward forcing the blast to gain more ground then more and more as the rest soon copied his actions then they all smiled as they shouted as one

“TOGETHER LET’S END THIS!!!” Shouted all of them as the bolt gain ground and shattered the purple beam and engulfed Tirevine who yelled in pain and defeat

“NO, NOOOOOOO!!!”

Then as the energy subsided they all stood around Twivine her now drained figure standing there in fear there forms gone and back to normal as she spoke

“All I wanted was Equestria for myself” said Twivine in a depressed tone of defeat “Why couldn’t I defeat all of you?”

“Yes because Twivine, Friendship is Magic” said Twilight

“Yea cause that doesn’t sound cheesy” Mumbled Blaze

“If that’s the case then I… surrender” said Twivine in defeat “Ive got nothing left to throw at you, I guess I’ll go back to where I came from”

“Oh yea the Magic Mirror Pool, yea” responded Twilight

“You know Twilight I really enjoyed being in this world” said Twivine

“What? But you tried to destroy it” said Twilight with a confused look

“Yea I know but if I ever come back you think you might be able to reform me?” asked Twivine her face a normal tone

“Hmmm… Nah” said Twilight with a small smile

“Oh Fiddlesticks!!” grunted Twivine

“Well now here goes nothing” said Twilight as her horn glowed magenta and engulfed Twivine in the same color

“Goodbye Twilight Sparkle” said Twivine, as she floated away back to the pool her laugh sounded out for awhile

“Oh just shut up already!!! I’m tired of you laughing!!!” yelled Blaze as he rubbed a hoof on his forehead

“Well I can’t thank all of you for stopping Twivine and especially you Blaze” said Celestia as she turned to face Blaze who just smiled

“Well I’m glad I had friends who could fight with me or else I wouldn’t have lasted long, then again I have been know to do stupid things” said Blaze laughing a bit

“Well then how about we celebrate at the Castle!” suggested Twilight as the rest agreed

Pinkie then brought out a party cannon and fired off confetti into the air as the rest laughed. As they began to walk away Blaze stood where he was and looked towards the now rising sun as It creeped over the horizon. Then he felt something grab his attention as he saw Rainbow standing there with a smile

“Hey you going to just stand there or are you coming?”

“Yea just thinking” said Blaze as he shrugged off his thought

“Oh boy that’s not good” said Rainbow jokingly

“Hahaha amusing Skittles” said Blaze with a grin

“I hate to interrupt your bickering but I’m back” said Oak as he stood their his wooden- metal frame glistening in the sun

“Well is it almost complete?” asked Blaze

“Yes just a few more components and were ready” responded Oak as he saw Blaze’s smile grow then he flew around with glee

“Why what is it?” asked Rainbow puzzled then she felt Blaze hug her tightly before letting go as he flew towards the entrance of the castle

“I’ll tell you and the rest for what it is, is something totally awesome!!!” shouted Blaze “You coming”

Rainbow stood there for a moment blushing and then shook it off and flew off “You coming oak?”

“Yes, might as well” said the wolf

And as he joined the rest the sun gleamed over the rustic village and the plains surrounding it as another day began but…

You said you would bring me back or did you forget out deal you freak!” snapped Twivine as she stood in a throne room, the red carpet floor and the stone brick walls and wooden ceiling ever so smooth and clean to the point it looked new.

A figure sat on the throne his figure covered in the darkness as he spoke

“Well I said I would bring you back but you didn’t say when” pointed out the figure

“Why you!!” snarled Twivine as she charged her horn but the end of a cane poked out and with a blast she was gone

“Oh whoops I slipped, oh well... everything is going according to plan…” said the voice in the quiet room

“Things have only just started getting interesting”
