Chapter 4.5 A Blessing For God Sake

White that’s all there was for miles and miles. Blaze had been wandering this place for what his A.I he now named KAI for 20 days. No sleep, no food or water and no weapons.

“Yep I’m pretty sure this is where souls that don’t exist go now” said Blaze as he continued to walk, his legs not feeling tired

“How can we be sure of that? Its not like we’ve seen anyone here and I highly doubt were alone” responded KAI now having a different tone of voice

Did I forget to mention he has a conscience?

“Well either that or we are stoned to no end” said Blaze with a smirk as he finally stopped and sat there and sighed

“Now what genius?” said KAI breaking the silence

“I don’t know; want to head east next?” asked Blaze as he blew his spiky hair

“No we headed east 7 days ago; lets head west” responded KAI

“Ok begin travelling music” said Blaze but they were both interrupted

“I think I can help with that” came a voice from behind them

Blaze then jumped up and turned to see a white figure with no facial features but eyes that glowed a beautiful golden color as it spoke again

“Well what is it you want to do?” asked the voice

“Um who and what are you? And why are we in a coliseum of sorts?” asked Blaze as he saw that the surrounding have changed to that of what he spoke but still as white as the world around him

“Well I am God to put it plainly” said God

“Yea and I’m an Alicorn” said Blaze with a (I don’t believe you look) before feeling something on his forehead

He then lifted his hoof and felt… a horn!

“ok what the fuck; no, no, no, no I do not want this sort of responsibility nope; ok I believe you just what the hell do you want?!” said Blaze as he felt it disappear and he let out a sigh of relief “oh thank celestia; never will I ever want to be a alicorn”

“Well I know what you did and why you are here but tell me why?” said God as he stood there staring

“But your God you know everything” questioned Blaze

“Yes but only what ive seen I can’t and won’t pry on the minds of others unless I need to” responded God

“well I guess I did it because I couldn’t just stand by and watch as the world fell apart due to me; and if that means I die so be it” said Blaze as he remembered the pain of death and the loss of life as he layed there bleeding out then his face was lifted towards God as he spoke

“There is no need to explain your reasons Blaze; the ones who love you understand and people with good intentions make promises but you have good character so you keep them and you never let them die; with that you have my respect”

Blaze looked at his eyes which showed compassion and understanding. Blaze then got up and smiled once again and said

“Well then I’m not going to stop being myself; besides if I did stop I wouldn’t annoy every person with my cocky attitude and that’s no fun”

“well then let me make you a deal” said God as he warped a few feet back “if you can show me your resolve and ambition and land a single punch on me I will grant you your life back”

Blaze’s eyes widened at this and began to studder then he closed his eyes and thought

I can’t believe I can return but then again I won’t be easy; hehe I like a challenge anyways; you with me KAI?

Yes let’s see what a so called God can do; activated air quotes

Watch it KAI he can read minds you dumbass

Oh ok then I’ll just keep up being annoying; activated don’t give one parameters

  “Alright I accept; but what’s the catch?” said Blaze as he could have sworn that’s what the God wanted to hear

“If your resolve fails you will be left to wander this place forever” said God

“Alright then… let’s dance!” said Blaze as he began to run then he felt his entire body drop to the floor as he struggled to lift his body

“I forgot to mention every time you make a move I’ll be increasing the gravity more and more” said God

“Oh ok that just made things interesting” said Blaze as he made to his feet and made 2 steps before collapsing as the air left his lungs “ok there goes a rip or two hehe…he”

As Blaze once again tried to stand he was thrown back to the ground by the shear force of gravity as his breathing became more jagged. Again and again he tried but was forted by the one thing that can hold him back gravity

10 Days Later…

Blaze laid there motionless and the God stood there and watched, eyes unblinking

“(sigh) I guess your resolve finally met its match; well if you can here me this is about as far as my gravity shifting can go; I’m sorry but looks like your done” said God as he was about to stop until Blaze moved, only a tiny bit then he began to slowly move his legs

“If there is anyway of me returning to my home, my friends then I will jump headfirst into hell itself. I still have questions that need to be answered and I will get them… even if it kills me!” shouted Blaze as he began to stand up

“Nobody, no God is going to stop me, No One!” shouted Blaze as he was completely up shaking and his breathing was ragged

“And now that your at your limit I can stop pulling my punches” said Blaze as he looked at the surprised God

“You, you were holding back?!” said God in surprise

Then Blaze began to move faster and faster, his bones feeling like they would shatter into pieces a million times over if he fell, but he kept going "not yet; im not going down yet"

As God's eyes widened more and more due to how close Blaze was getting he then forced as much energy from his hand as he could causing Blaze to slide back but Blaze planted his hooves firmly into the white void as he kept going, closer and closer then he somehow managed to run causing sweat to trickle down his face and he bit agenst the pain

“Bite this!” Said Blaze as his left hoof connected with God’s face then almost instantly the massive weight was lifted and his body felt… fine like nothing had ever happened, then he began to stand up from the fall shaking a bit

“I am never going to get use to feeling or seeing this weird shit” said Blaze as he cracked and stretched his limbs

“You said it; my circuits felt like they were going to rupture your insides” responded KAI in a positive tone

“well like I said a deal’s a deal” said God as he began to lift his hand and said “one more thing because of your sheer will power alone saving your soul I will offer you 1 answer to any question you may want”

Blaze stood there like his entire world came down on top of him like a meteor

This is it i… I could finally know who I am, why was I sent here, the truth… alright I know

“Ok then my question is… why? Why me of all ponies or people in this case? Why me and not someone greater than me, better than me?” said Blaze as he stood waiting for the answer

God seemed surprised by this question like he wasn’t expecting it; then he spoke

“Well your right why not someone else, why you of all others… well you may not agree but you are a hero; not for your strength or sword, not your armor or mind but what you believe in your heart and soul. That’s what makes you the pony and person I chose. That and I’m going on a whim”

Seriously Gods go on whims yea ri- actually I’ll just take his word I don’t want to be turned into something else; oh yea he can read mind if he needs to, shutting up now

Then as God’s hand came down Blaze began to disappear then Blaze spoke

“Well then let’s see what my heart’s made of”

Then as Blaze opened his eyes he was falling; the air felt cool and the moonlight was as beautiful as ever then one thing ran through his head

“Unite the elements; unite your heart; that is true power”

“Alright KAI are you ready to set things right?” asked Blaze

“Let’s do this mother f*****” responded KAI

Then Blaze began to fly and hover then he shot in the direction of Ponyville the wind now blowing his mane and tail in the air as his grin grew bigger and he shouted into the midnight sky

“LET’S DANCE...!”
