…And into The Lava
You know people would say this is cliché but my life is just one big cliché but that in itself is cliché, cliché, isn’t it?
Anyway, normally once you die or fall into a massive sea of molten magma you would be dead, roasted etc. For me however that was not the case, not in the slightest.
My eyes slowly awoke to a vision of murky red as my entire body felt warm but not burnt. I realized that I was in fact, swimming in lava.
“Ok what the fuck?” I asked to no one in particular as I then noticed the faint purple glow emanating from my chest plate
“Fire immunity!” I realized in surprise as I sigh heavily “That 5 times now ive been saved just in time,”
I then felt my metal hand grasp something that was down here with me. I looked down and saw a wooden hilt with a sharp crystal that went from yellow to orange then to red as it glowed. What came next surprised me even more.
“Who… who are you?” The blade spoke in a female voice that was almost apathetic “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing miss blade,” I said in my usual tone
“Whatever it doesn’t matter, just leave me alone,” She said bitterly as that got me thinking, yes, I can think
“Why? Why do you want to be left here alone?” I asked expecting to get some reaction
“Because there’s no point in living in a world that takes away everything you care for, it expects you to be something you’re not and punishment for going agenst it is what ended in this conclusion,” She explained as I frowned slightly before giving her a big
“Nope.” I said simply
“What?” She asked in confusion
“Nope. You had a choice, sure it may have led to a bad outcome but still you live on,” I explained as I took her silence as my que
“If life really hated you, you wouldn’t still be alive, heck Ive been killed, Ive seen someone I care for die the same, but life kept me going, I kept myself going,”
“Heck I’m swimming in a sea of lava, talking with a sword and I’m still living!” I shouted as I smiled
“Don’t you see? You still have a choice, you can waste away at the bottom of this lake forever… or you can come with me,” I said simply as I heard a faint gasped
“You-you want me to come with you? Why?” She asked as I laughed
“Because I’m an idiot who landed himself and others in a big mess and I’m tired of letting people suffer for it,” I said with a smile as I held the blade up to my face
“Who…who are you?” She asked sounding more confused but less apathetic
“I’m Blaze Hawk, amazing name I know, and I smile in the face of death!” I stated proudly as I heard a slight laugh
“You really are something, aren’t you?... are you serious in wanting to let me join you?” She asked more calmly as I smiled
“Sure, but the choice is yours,” I said as the blade glowed more brightly
“Ok then, but first I’m guessing you weren’t sent down here my your own will?” She asked as I rubbed the back of my neck giving her a sheepish grin
“There’s about 10 guards up there, and I don’t really think this on chest plate is going to cover it,” I said pointing at the armour as she gasped
“That’s… my armour…” She said in a whisper as my mind soon realized who I was talking to
“Wait, YOU’RE THE GODDESS!!?” I yelled in surprise as the glow dimed slightly
“Yes, and might I wonder how did you acquire my gear?” She asked suspiciously as I actually began to sweat in lava
“I may have broken into your fortress, and broke into the vault and took the gear with me,” I said slowly as I forced a smile “But the chest plate I found in the over world not here,”
“Really?... fine, at least this will help in this fight,” She said in defeat as I raise my brow
“What are you planning?” I asked more in fear than curiosity
“My Rebirth.”
*Above the sea of lava*
*Third-Person-Narrative*
Redblood or Crimstone pinned Solar agenst a wall as the guards all kept watch for anyone as he smiled at her as she wore a very pissed look on her face.
“Alright I’ll give you one chance, you can live and have all charges dropped, only if you become my faithful servant forever, oh and not just the normal kind of one,” Crimstone said as he licked his lips as Solar gulped slightly
“I rather burn with Blaze than be stuck listening to a spoiled brat for the rest of my life!” She snapped as his smile soon dropped as his right-hoof connected with her face sending her flying
“You pest, don’t you dare talk to your superior that way!” he snapped as Solar spat blood from her mouth but smiled as he grabbed her by the neck
“No, killing you would be wasteful, so I guess I’ll have to take you by for-“
*BOOM*
Everyone’s eyes darted to the nether bridge cliff as a pillar of fire shot into the air before the body of a pony came walking out into view.
Her coat was a peach colour and her mane was a golden colour with orange mixed in, her cutie mark was two blaze rods crossing each other. Her eyes shot open revealing nothing but yellow and orange as they glowed.
She wore golden armour which had a purple glow to it. A horn glowed red as it gripped a crystal sword in it. 5 jagged blaze rods hovered around her as her head turned to the left with frown dawned her face as her eyes narrowed in disgust.
“You dare defy me! You are not worthy of being my guards, nor does your leader lack resolve or then means to lead!” She spoke as some guards fled the area as Crimstone spoke up
“You dare call me a terrible leader! I am Prince Crimstone and i-“
He saw cut off as the blade shot forward and cut his cheek before returning to the mare.
“I am Serafin, Goddess of the NetherRealm and you will all burn in the fires upon which you sent me to burn!!!” Serafin yelled as two arrows shot towards her but burned as they touched the sword
“Guards kill that pest!” Crimstone yelled as he ran away faster than anyone one pony could go
Serafin swung the blade in an ‘X’ formation as two wither skeletons ran forward. The first one brought its sword down as Serafin blocked and swung up, throwing it off balance. She then severed its arm and disconnected its head in an instant as it burst into flames.
The other one came from behind as the blaze rods defended their host and shoved it back as Serafin fired a ball of fire, setting the undead to fiery grave as it fell off the platform.
An arrow then grazed Serafin’s face as her head turned to see 3 skeletons preparing to fire again as she waited.
*Swoosh, Swoosh, Swoosh, Hiss*
As the arrows shot towards their target they were quickly burned in a wall of flames as 3 small balls of fire came hurdling out as they contacted the skeletons, setting them ablaze.
“Who’s next?” Serafin spoke as the rest looked at each other and soon ran off as Serafin let out a breath before she was kicked into a pillar by one remaining skeleton “One more,”
It wore iron armour as it brought its sword down only for Serafin to dodge the attack as she rolled. But she just had to keep dodging left and right as she noticed the light-blue spirals emanating from it.
“Swiftness,” she thought as she jumped to avoid the next assault “What can we do?”
“You could try being reckless, that’s what I do,” Blaze responded inside Serafin’s head as narrowed her eyes in annoyance
“*Sigh* you better be right,” Serafin shot back
The Skeleton pinned Serafin to a wall as he brought his blade forward but it stopped as Serafin grabbed it between her teeth. She then lit her mouth on fire as it melted the stone.
*Bam*
The Skeleton’s skull connected with a nearby wall as Serafin kicked it flying off her as she spat the stone out of her mouth. The Skeleton tried to crawl away but a red aura surrounded it as Serafin lifted it towards her face as the skeleton seemed to be shaking in fear.
“Give me one good reason not to burn you to ash,” She dared as it began to point towards the fortress “What about it?”
It began to make lots of different clicking sounds with its bones as it was released from the aura.
“Go then, make sure you tell everyone of the guards that their Goddess has returned, that and kill that annoying brother of mine,” Serafin ordered coldly as the Skeleton saluted before walking off
“You can come out now,” Serafin spoke as Solar shakily walked out from behind a wall as she shook with fear “So you were the one that helped Blaze steal my armour, insulted my brother and injured a few of my guards?”
“Ye-yes Godd-Goddess, I am,” She spoke shakily as Serafin holstered her blade and nodded slightly before resting her hoof on her shoulder
“Thank you,” Serafin answered calmly as Solar’s head shot up in surprise “If you didn’t help him I wouldn’t be here speaking with you now,”
Just as she said that Serafin grabbed her side and yanked Blaze out of her body as he fell flat on his face. Serafin’s eyes diluted down to normal but no pupils showed, her tail became shorter with and spikier.
“Next time warn me when you’re going to do that,” Blaze groaned as he got to his hooves as he then fell right back down from Solar hugging him
“I thought you were dead you bloody idiot!” She spoke in a panic as Blaze smiled
“Na, told you everything would be fine, that and I really had no other plan,” Blaze said with a laugh as Solar shot him a glare
“Still, now that I’m back we need to solve this Endermare problem,” Serafin interrupted as Blaze nodded
“Yea but what about the Nether, don’t you kind of have a job to do?” Blaze asked as Serafin thought about it before nodding
Well I do have one idea,” Solar interjected as they looked at her “Well you could always make it that a consul can be made from the public so that you don’t have to always be here,”
“That might actually be a good idea,” Blaze added “I mean it keeps the place from becoming an actual hell again, no offence,”
“None taken and I do believe it would be sound idea too,” Serafin then paused as she began to walk as she waved a hoof “Well come on, unless you don’t want to save the world?”
“Nope, death Ain’t stopping me now!” Blaze cheered as he jogged up beside her along with Solar as they pressed forward, the only thing Blaze wasn't aware of was the small flame that rested on his head
After about an hour of talking with the higher ups and a lot of bowing the counsel of the Nether was established. The most suitable person to be put in charge was Solar as she knew more about the world than even Serafin knew.
Blaze sat on a balcony as he looked out over the massive city as the sea of lava radiated in the distance. Then a slight jab to the side got his attention as Solar stood there with a smile.
“So, how’s it feel to be all powerful?” Blaze joked as she rolled her eyes
“Oh, you know the usual power over people thing, nothing much,” She said sarcastically “But still thanks for everything Blaze you really are something,”
“Why thank you I do try my best,” Blaze gloated as Solar patted him on the head making him frown in annoyance
“Aww that’s so cute and here I thought you were joking around,” She said playfully as Blaze laughed half-heartedly
“So, are you ready to go or should I give you two more alone time?” Serafin spoke with her usual frown as Solar jumped back with a blush as Blaze grinned
“Yea sadly I prefer dinner first so that’s out of the question,” Blaze replied, earning i punch from Solar "so how did everything go?" Blaze asked as Serafin began to place obsidian down
“Well, we’ve decided to have a talk with some of the residents of the Over world to see if we can join peacefully, that and we might be able to spread are reach to the Aether if possible,” Serafin explained as she finished the frame
Then all eyes were on Blaze as a buzzing noise came from him as he pulled out the communication object Herobrine gave him as it pressed it.
“Pony, are you there?” Herobrine spoke quite hesitantly
“Yes I’m here Herobrine what’s up?” Blaze asked as he could here the sound of fire in the background
“It’s started earlier than we planned, the mobs are here,” Herobrine answered as Blaze’s eyes narrowed "We are keeping them back but i don't know how much longer we can,"
“She’s there, isn’t she?” Blaze asked coldly
“Yes,” Herobrine replied “Have you made contact yet with the NetherRealm?”
“Yes, were about to activate a portal, but don’t worry I’m bringing reinforcements!” Blaze declared as a long silence greeted them
“Alright, just hurry,” Herobrine responded as the message stopped and Blaze looked at Serafin and Solar “You ready Serafin?”
“Well, ive come this far haven’t I?” She answered as Blaze looked at Solar as she lit the portal
“Good luck Blaze, and thanks again!” She said happily as Blaze nodded as Serafin and Blaze jumped through the portal to the village… “Now then time for reinforcements,”
