"Dinner's ready!" Sonata shouted as she entered the kitchen with a bag of fast food tacos and a medium-sized pizza box.
As she placed the food on the table, she looked up and saw Adagio and Aria heading for the table.
"C'mon Jacket!" Adagio shouted as she took her seat. "Grub's here!"
Ever since Sonata called the blonde man Jacket, the man allowed the sirens to call him that from now on. His true name, however, still remains a mystery to them.
Jacket walked to the kitchen, looking emotionless as ever. He took a seat down and took a slice of pizza from the box. As he ate, the girls silently took the tacos from the bags and began eating.
"You...want a taco, Jacket?" Sonata asked, picking up an extra taco and handing it to Jacket.
Jacket shook his head politely as he reached for another slice of pizza.
"Um, not a fan of tacos?" Sonata asked.
"Sonata, stop being a nuisance to Jacket and just eat your stupid tacos!" Adagio ordered as she put down her food.
"I was just trying to offer him a taco!" Sonata shouted back.
"Shut up Sonata!" Aria yelled at the blue teenager.
"You shut up!" Sonata hissed at Aria.
Adagio slapped a hand on her forehead as the two girls bitterly argued at each other. "Can you two just shut the-"
The trio of girls were cut by Jacket, who slammed his fist on the table. Immediately, they all became silent with wide eyes as they stared at the angry Jacket. He crossed his arms and shook his head at the girls.
"S-sorry." Aria said to Jacket. The man simply replied by shaking his head at her and pointed at Sonata.
"Sorry Sonata." Aria apologized. "Sorry for snapping at you and telling you to shut up."
Jacket looked at Sonata and pointed at Aria.
"Sorry Aria, for telling you to shut up." Sonata said with an apologetic frown.
Jacket, at last, stared at Adagio.
"Sorry Sonata for calling you a nuisance." Adagio said as she looked at Sonata.
Satisfied, Jacket resumed eating his pizza as the Sirens looked at him and then each other before resuming their eating quietly. It still baffles them that this mute person became the voice of reason of the trio. Then again, seeing Jacket angry strikes fear in their hearts. Because of this, they fought less when they're around him.
As soon as dinner was over, Jacket retreated to his room with a roll of newspaper in his hand. Jumping on the bed, he opened it and read what happened so far. Not much, other than miscellaneous news, though there was this article talking about how this teenager attacked this arcade full of gangsters, which happened yesterday. She did all this without killing a single one.
As soon as Jacket was done reading, he threw it to the floor as he let out a quiet yawn. Laying comfortably on the bed, he soon fell asleep.
Those were the last words of the Russian mobster before Jacket punched him to the floor and brutally banged his head to the floor until his brains leaked out.
Jacket took the dead man's pistol and kept it for when he needed it. Walking forward, he came across a door that doesn't seem to be locked. Placing his ear on it, he could hear the faint sound of someone talking Russian. Stepping back, he kicked the door, causing the Russian behind it to stumble to the floor, his magnum clattering to the ground.
A nearby Russian spotted Jacket and lifted his lead pipe, ready to strike Jacket. Before he could do so, he was pushed to the ground by Jacket, who stole his lead pipe. The other Russian got back up with his magnum back in his hand. Jacket quickly spun the pipe at the Russian, splattered the nearby wall with his blood. The other Russian tried to crawl away, only to feel Jacket's foot on his back as the masked man bashed the Russian's brains out.
Jacket looked at the lead pipe, blood and bits of brain were stuck to it. He threw it away and picked up the magnum. As soon as Jacket equipped both the pistol and magnum, he walked into the next room, filled with four Russians playing poker in a round table.
They became shocked to see Jacket, who lifted up the guns and fired at the Russians. One was shot multiple times in the head, causing his chips and cards to scatter all over the floor. The other was shot in the chest, his blood staining the pile of cash that was sitting on the table. The Russian who was about to shoot at Jacket with his Uzi was shot in the heart, causing him to fire his Uzi at the wall as he fell to the floor dead. The last one spat out his rolled-up marijuana as Jacket wasted his last ammunition firing at the mobster's stomach.
Jacket heard some of the nearby Russians rushing into the room, wondering what's causing the ruckus. He lifted up the poker table and hid behind it.
Five Russians rushed into the room, all of them equipped with AK-47's and pissed off looks on their faces. Jacket grabbed a nearby Uzi and jumped up from his cover, firing rounds at the Russians. One of them was able to jump out of the way as the rest were gunned down with blood splashing on the floor. Pulling out a knife, the mobster charged at Jacket who was busy reloading.
Both the mobster and Jacket wrestled on the floor, the mobster attempting to slice Jacket's throat. Just as his blade was close to the neck, Jacket grabbed the mobster's wrist and twisted it as hard as he can, causing the Russian to scream in pain. This gave Jacket to steal the knife and swiftly stabbing the Russian in his eye. The lifeless Russian fell to the floor, blood oozed from his eye.
Jacket got up and picked up the Uzi and reloaded it. By the time he finished, he turned around and saw an overweight thug with black clothes and dark skin. Jacket wasted no time pointing the Uzi at the thug and held on to the trigger until the magazine came out empty.
As soon as the thug collapsed to the floor with multiple holes in his chest and a shocked look on his face, Jacket left the room and spotted an elevator. He ran to it and pressed the button that takes him to the second floor.
As soon as the door opened, he saw a Russian with a machete about to enter the elevator. He stopped as soon as he saw Jacket and swung his machete. Jacket dodged the swing and punched the mobster's stomach. The Russian dropped the machete as he grabbed his stomach in pain. The last thing he saw was Jacket swinging the machete.
As the mobster's decapitated head rolled away, Jacket overheard two mobsters speaking Russian as they walked in the hallway. They gasped as soon as they saw Jacket. One of them charged at him with his hammer. Jacket rushed at him and swung the machete, chopping the mobster in half. The other mobster panicked and lifted up his double-barrel shotgun. He was unable to fire it as Jacket wedged the machete in the middle of the head. Jacket calmly took the shotgun from the mobster's hands as he dropped backwards.
Jacket took a right and stopped when he saw another mobster. This time, the mobster grinned as he revved up his chainsaw. As he ran towards his target, Jacket fired the shotgun. Much to Jacket's surprised, the mobster quickly dropped to his knees, avoiding the shells. Jacket fired once more, yet the mobster dodged that. Upon realizing he ran out of ammo, he threw the shotgun at the mobster. The Russian chuckled as he swiftly caught the shotgun with hands before breaking it in half.
Jacket assumed this was some kind of dodger. He just hoped he couldn't dodge melee kills. Jacket ran away to grab the hammer that was on the floor with the chainsaw mobster on his tail. Jacket swiped the hammer and swung it at the dodger's face, causing the mobster's jaw to be broken with bits of his teeth launching to the floor. The dodger fell to the floor, holding his jaw as he cried. His crying stopped when Jacket crushed his skull with the blood-soaked hammer.
Picking up the chainsaw, Jacket pulled the cord to give it a rev as he calmly looked to his left, eyeing a door. Without hesitating, he barged into the room with the chainsaw still running. A yell was heard along with the sound of someone being sawed in half. Screams were heard, sounding more terrified than surprised. Gunshots started firing, though they were drowned out by the engine of the chainsaw. Horrified screams were heard that paired nicely with the sound of furniture being destroyed and the gurgling sounds of death. After a while, the revving stopped and the sound of a chainsaw falling to the floor was heard. Jacket soon left the room without the chainsaw, covered with ample amounts of blood and some body organs. He wiped the organs from his clothes as he walked to the elevator.
Jacket got most of the organs out of his clothes as soon as the elevator reached the third floor. This should be the last floor for him.
As the elevator opened, he quickly ran into the hallway. In another room, a bunch of Russian mobsters huddled up with guns in their hands. Among one of them was their leader: a man with a black ponytail and a golden hammer & sickle earring in his left ear.
"Alright guys." The man said as he lifted up his katana. "This guy wants to fuck with us, we'll fuck with him. Got it!?"
The Russians responded by cheering at their leader.
Meanwhile, at the hallway, Jacket jumped the first mobster he saw and then snapped his neck. He grabbed the mobster's assault rifle and headed for the two doors in front of him. Knocking it down with his foot, he pull the trigger, firing at all the Russians in the room.
As soon as the magazine went empty, Jacket dropped the gun, seeing how all the Russians were all dead in this room.
All but one.
The one with the golden hammer & sickle earring jumped from his cover, unsheathing his katana.
"It's just you and me now, friend." He whispered as he tightened his grip on his sword.
He dashed to Jacket and swung his sword with a vertical slash. Jacket quickly jumped to the side to evade the attack. The Russian quickly looked at Jacket as he sprinted to him. Jacket looked behind him and saw a spare katana attached to the wall. He quickly ran to it and removed the katana from the wall.
As the Russian lifted his sword, Jacket lunged at his target with his sword in positions. Both swung their swords, causing their weapons to be stuck in a sword clash.
"Not bad. Not bad for the one who killed my father." The Russian said calmly at Jacket. "Yeah, I know it was you. The masked maniac people are talking about. I'm not here to avenge my father's death. I just want to see how far your bloodlust will take you!"
Jacket responded by gaining the upper hand and knocking the Russian's sword away. He proceeded to swing his sword at the mobster's face. The Russian let out a yell of pain as he stumbled backward with his right hand on the left side of his face. He soon removed his hand from his face, seeing blood on his palm.
Jacket stared at the Russian and the fresh scar on his face.
The Russian stared at Jacket, panting heavily as he stared at the masked man.
"FREEZE!"
Both Jacket and the Russian quickly turned to the two doors, seeing a group of police officers standing there with pistols pointed at them. The one who looked the most aggressive was the one with blonde hair and a stubble on his face. Judging from the pissed off look in his face, Jacket guessed this cop was born with thick skin.
Jacket dropped his weapon and slowly raised his hands up in the air. He turned to the Russian who was doing the same thing Jacket was doing.
"At least I got to spar with you."
Jacket woke up with a gasp, panting heavily as sweat covered his head. He stood up from his bed, a scared look on his face. He let out a couple of coughs before he laid back into bed.
Eventually, he got off of his bed. He didn't feel like sleeping now. He quietly left the bed and his room. He grabbed his pack of cigarettes and a gas lighter on the way. He entered the living room where he saw the three girls sleeping on the couch, huddled up to each other.
Jacket never understood how they end up a total shithole like this. He saw some of them start to shiver from the cold. He went back to his room and took the blanket. Returning to the living room, he placed the blanket over the girls, tucking them in. They suddenly felt a bit warmer as Sonata even smiled in her sleep.
Satisfied, Jacket went to the screen door that lead to the balcony. Opening it and standing outside, he took out his cigarettes and lighter from his pockets. He grabbed one smoke and placed it on his mouth, igniting it with the lighter.
He stood there smoking while watching over the city.
