Dawn shifted her eyelids. With a noisy yawn, she lifted her head and groggily looked around her. Beside her was the little pony that had been annoying the crap out of her.

"You're awake!!" Scootaloo cried, leaping on top of the Indominus with a delighted squeal. Dawn grimaced and calmly lifted the happy pegasus off of her. "I saved you!" Scootaloo said proudly, puffing out her chest. "I saved you from the weird green dude." she repeated to the exhausted unicorn.

"What are you talking about?" Dawn growled in confusion, looking herself over.

"Scootaloo here says that a gryphon planned to make a meal out of you." a doctor said as she entered the room. "You were mighty lucky to have survived. You were bit. By the looks of things, by something venomous." she continued.

"Whatever." the hybrid grumbled, rising to her hooves.

"NO!" the nurse commanded. "You need some rest! The antidote is still doing it's work!" she said, placing a hoof against Dawn's chest with a stern look.

"Get out of my way!" the unicorn snarled, pushing the mare out of the way with an irritated snort.

"At least let me take you to Princess Celestia!" the nurse called after her. Dawn swung her head to face the pony. With a deep growl, the dinosaur stood aside for the pony to lead the way. "Thank you." the doctor said.

-Canterlot Throne Room-

"This is Talon." Rex said with a smile, introducing the mare to Celestia.

"Talon isn't, you know, like you, right? A carnivore, I mean?" Princess Celestia asked, a look of nervousness ever so slightly crossing her normally calm face. She had seen what a stallion like Rex could do when angered, so she felt a little nervous to meet another carnivorous pony.

"No, Your Majesty. A piscivore, would be the correct term." the Spinosaurus said, bowing down to the celestial alicorn. "A fish eater, in other words."

Princess Celestia let a deep sigh of relief escape her throat. "Okay, good." she said with satisfaction. "So, you don't eat meat, if I understand correctly?" she asked Talon.

"Not unless the opportunity presents itself." the ridge backed mare said reassuringly.

Rex brought a hoof down onto Talon's back. "How's THAT going to help." he growled into the mare's ear.

"Sorry!" Talon replied, rubbing her shoulder bone with a hoof.

At that moment, a loud knock echoed throughout the room. "Come in!" Princess Celestia called. A doctor entered the room, followed by an excited foal holding something. She was holding a mare's hoof.

"YOU!" Rex snarled as Dawn entered the room.

"Well I'll be d***ed. If it isn't Microarmosaurus and his long snouted friend." the Indominus Rex chuckled with a smirk. "I will take great joy in killing you both." she continued.

"SHUT UP!!" the large stallion bellowed furiously.

"Maybe this was a bad time." the nurse said with a guilty smile crossing her face. Princess Celestia nodded in agreement. "Okay. I'm just gonna go now." the doctor said, turning to leave as the two dinosaurs took a step toward each other.

"Please don't fight." a tiny voice squeaked. Dawn looked down to see Scootaloo pressed against her front leg. "I don't want you to fight. Please don't." she said, looking up at the unicorn with sad eyes.

"Aww. Does the wittow Indominus Wex have a fwend?" Rex taunted the hybrid. "Awwwww." He then began to laugh.

"Shut your trap, before I tear your esophagus out, you overgrown LIZARD!!" Dawn snapped, her eyebrows forming a glare. If the Indominus was angry before, it's NOTHING compared to the rage that was swelling up inside her now.

"This is getting interesting." Princess Luna said with a small smile. Celestia nodded in agreement. "I've never seen dinosaurs go at it before, you?"

"Nope."

Talon's expression remained that of anger the entire time Rex was taunting Dawn. Until, finally, she spoke. Well, more like yelled. "BOTH of you, SHUT UP!! Can't you two get along?!!"

Rex and Dawn glanced at the spinosaurid with wide eyes. "Nope." they then said in unison.

Talon rolled her eyes. "Why do you two hate each other SO much?! Why can't you get along?" she continued, rambling on about fighting and other stuff.

"Well, I could ask you the same question about why you and that other Tyrannosaurus couldn't get along. I mean, you KILLED him. Killed him!" Rex asked

"That was a territorial thing." Talon stated, matter of factly.

"EXACTLY!" the stallion shouted.

"Please... Don't fight." Scootaloo begged Dawn, tightening her grip on the hybrid's leg. For such a small pony, she had quite the tight hold. The Indominus looked down at the pegasus.

"Could you possibly loosen your grip. I can't feel anything from the shin down." Dawn asked Scootaloo with a slight smile crossing her normally rigid face. "I won't fight... if you get off of me, okay?" the unicorn asked politely.

"Okay!" Scootaloo chirped happily, instantly letting go of Dawn's leg.

"There so cute together." Rex teased. Dawn shot a glare at the tyrannosaur but kept to her word. With an irritated snort, the hybrid let herself out of the room, Scootaloo following close behind.

Princess Celestia impatiently tapped a hoof against the marble floor. "Ahem." she spoke up, gaining Rex and Talon's attention once again. "What were you two saying?"
