Aniese stared at her master as Ditzy applied her makeup. She didn't actually wear makeup on a daily basis, as she didn't feel the need to wear any since Shard already thought she looked cute on her own. But today was different, since it was Halloween she and her boyfriend had decided to not go to their friends party as some crappy monster or something, they would do a couples cosplay. One option was Cortana and Master Chief, another Shadow and Maria, or some other character pair from one of their shared favourites. So, they decided to go as One Piece characters. As she finished her makeup she looked herself over in the mirror.

Of course painting her skin was a bit of a pain and washing it off would be even more of a pain, she was very passionate about her cosplaying. She wore a wig as to avoid dying her hair. "How do I look Aniese?" She asked her little robot companion.

"Looking great, spooky." The robot turret replied cheerfully with an added 'yay' for adorableness.

Ditzy smiled and pat the little robot on her head. "Thanks, I know how much Shard loves the side characters in One Piece, especially the likes of Perona. But I wonder who he'll go as, probably Zoro."

"Hey Ditzy! You ready?!" Carrot Top called from down the stairs, wearing a zombie farmer costume that was slightly sexy, but didn't show too much. She wanted to at least attract the attention of someone but not come across as a tramp. Bon Bon and Lyra sat as salt and pepper shakers, Bon Bon frowning as she was acting salty about the choice in costumes. (See that?! I made a pun! Laugh! Laugh! Ahahahahahaha I hate my life!)

"Yeah, I'll be down in a minute! Come on Aniese." Ditzy patted open her bag at her side and the little robot jumped in. As she walked down the stairs Carrot whistled and looked her over.

"Damn Ditzy, you trying to get Shard to jump you tonight?"

Ditzy blushed, although it was hidden under the makeup. "Don't say stuff like that, it makes me feel weird."

"Would you object if he actually did it?" Carrot asked with a playful smirk.

"Carrot!"

"I'm just teasing you Ditzy. But seriously, you're gonna have to do it sooner or later."

Ditzy glared and folded her arms. "If we are going to do that then it will be OUR decision, we'd be doing it for our relationship."

Carrot smiled. "Good, don't you ever feel pressured to do it otherwise."

Ditzy groaned and walked into the living room to wait. "Can you stop doing these little tests of yours? They make me feel things I don't wanna feel..."

"Well, relationships will do that, there will be things you don't want to feel or think, but you have to, to keep the relationship going and learn from the mistakes you make, and you need to know when it's best for you to make steps to further the relationship. Just make sure you make the right steps this time." Carrot explained with a concerned expression. "You know what happened the last time you had a-"

"Carrot!" Lyra and Bon Bon yelled, cutting her off. "You've made your point, we agreed to never talk about that."

Carrot shook herself and facepalmed. "Sorry Ditzy. I just-"

"It's fine, just let it go." After a few minutes of awkward silence, the group heard a knock at the door.

Going and opening the front door, Carrot saw Time Turner walk in dressed as Doc Brown from Back To The Future. "Looking good Turner."

"Thanks, although I feel as if I should have chosen something more Halloween themed."

"Hey, nothing screams Halloween like a mad scientist." Turner nodded and walked in, next came Shard in his costume. "Woah dude..."

Shard followed Carrot into the living room where Ditzy's jaw dropped as she spotted her boyfriend in his cosplay.

"You dressed up like Dracule Mihawk?" She asked as she got up and looked him over. "How did you even pull this off?! And where did you get the huge black blade?!"

"I've been putting this cosplay together for months, and the blade it's just a prop made of cardboard, foam and tin, it can't actually be used as a weapon."

Ditzy's examination eventually led her to touch his exposed abs, causing her to blush before hugging her partner and nuzzling into hos well built chest. Bon Bon, Lyra and Carrot sighed with a slight hint of jealousy while Shard and Turner deadpanned.

"I should have just gone as Zoro..."

"Maybe..." The group walked out of the house and began walking towards CHS, Ditzy still clinging to Shard, but he could sense a little uneasiness witching her grasp of him, but he didn't mention it as to not potentially ruin a fun night. Whatever it was it could be dealt with later, right now he wanted to get the party over with and then deal with Mise, something that has been put off for way to God damn long.

"Hey, Shard, how'd you do that with your eyes?" Lyra asked as she looked to his eyes and tilting her head.

"Contacts." He merely stated.

"What's wrong?"

"They hurt like hell."

"Then why don't you just take them off?"

"Because I am a loyal fan and want my cosplay to be perfect, also, I need Rayleigh to take them out." Shard kicked himself hard in his other leg to distract himself from the pain on his eyeballs. "Work through it Shard, you've been punched by a giant robot you can handle burning eyes."

Carrot shook her head while Bon Bin rolled her eyes. "You need a better lifestyle man, I know you love Kenjutsu and all, but you've got to get a more healthy line of work." Bon Bon stated as she shifted around in her salt shaker costume.

"Trust me, after dealing with Cybe for the last time I'm looking for something else to do with life. I'm not happy with how things are going at CyCorp anyway."
