As Shards car slowly approached the tall clean white building Shard looked to Ditzy. "Ditzy, I need to ask you to do something for me."

"Sure Shard, what is it?" Ditzy asked in curiosity.

"I need you to wait outside until a man named Plas Proto comes out to show you around the building with Rayleigh, you'll be heading in through the back entrance, the main entrance is gonna get a bit...messy." Ditzy looked unsure as the last word came out in a darker tone.

"Shard, what's your deal with this place?"

Shard sighed. "A few years ago my family hit a ruff spot financially with my dad unable to work due to an injury in a tournament. When I was 13 CyCorp showed up at my door and offered a lot of money to me in exchange for something." He was about to continue when he reached his reserved parking space. "I'll tell you the rest after this, I'll see you later." He planted a kiss on her cheek before exiting the vehicle and slowly walked towards the automatic white doors. Ditzy noticed that all activity in the plaza had ceased and people were staying clear of the entrance.

As Shard walked through the doors he stopped and drew two blades from his back. He took a fighting stance before a the doors shut, blocking Ditzy's view of Shard and noticed that a metal sheet was covering the blocked entrance. "What do you think he's doing in there Ray?"

"I'm...not sure Miss Doo, he didn't give me any information about his link to this place other than two orders, don't let any of the scientists take me to the labs alone, and follow your orders once we got here." The robot explained. "But I'm sure that Master Shard is doing whatever it is he is doing with the best intentions, we need not worry about him."

"You're not even a bit worried?"

"Of course I'm worried, I'm a butler, I must look out for my masters best interests, and that's a choice that I made." Ditzy looked at him surprised. "Master Shard gave me free will with the only exception that I am programmed to follow his instructions. If I wished I could simply leave this car and go about my own business, but I don't, because I made the decision to stay with the young master and you Miss Doo." As he was about to continue one of his eyes moved to look out Ditzy's window. "I believe that the person Master Shard informed us of is approaching."

Ditzy turned around and saw a man in a lab coat walking up to the car. He had snow white skin with spiky purple hair and wore purple glasses that rested on the tip of his nose. He knocked on the window and Ditzy lowered it. "Hello ther miss, are you Ditzy Doo?" Ditzy nodded. "Excellent, I am Dr. Plas Proto, but you can just call me Plas. Shard has asked me to give you a little tour of our facility."

"Oh, ok." Ditzy opened the door and stepped out of the car. She opened the door for Rayleigh who crawled out with his arms before starting his hover engine and locking the car with the keys that Shard had given him.

Plas looked Rayleigh up and down. "Wow, I knew Shard was good with machines but I never expected him to actually be able to complete his project." Plas then started inspecting Rayleigh with great curiosity. "Outer metal layers are clearly not from our shipments, looks like recycled steel, smart choice for someone with limited resources, easier and cheaper to get parts for repairs that way. What of the power source? Would need to open it up to see that, I doubt he used a tiny nuclear reactor..."

"Um, Plas?" Plas blinked before turning his head towards Ditzy. "The tour?"

"Ah! Right, sorry about that, let's get going." As the trio began walking Plas tried to reach for Raylieghs pincher only to stop as a buzz saw moved up to his face.

"No touchies." The robot stated in a firm voice.

Meanwhile

Shard walked through the the empty lobby, the blue floor separating itself from the rest of the white room. He held two orange and black katanas in his hands, looking around cautiously. As he stood still he stopped trusting his sight and focused on his hearing, he closed his eyes and focused on listening. After a few moments her heard a faint buzzing coming from behind him. He quickly opened his eyes, spun around and sliced the air. Suddenly a small spherical robot appeared in the spot he had sliced and slowly fell to the ground where it split in half.

He heard the buzzing again and sliced another area. He stood in place, slicing up multiple cloaked robots as they approached him. After the final robot fell a sliding door on the left wall opened up, revealing the next room. "So it's that way is it? Fine, I'll do your damn puzzle rooms."

As he stepped into the the room the door slammed shut behind him. Looking around he didn't see anything that needed destroyed and sheathed his swords. In the room there was a platform about twenty meters up with a door leading to the next room, there were also two large blue cubes that seemed to be made of a jelly like substance. He jumped on one and it sent him about ten meters in the air. He landed and thought for a moment, looking for any points in the room that he could use as a cheat spot. He looked to the cubes and shrugged. He picked both of them up and slammed them together, creating a larger cube. He then jumped on it and it sent him twenty meter sin the air where he could reach the door to the next room.

As he entered he was presented a device that had a claw on one end and a trigger on the other, it had a straw that allowed him to wear it on his wrist. Knowing what the device looked like he aimed it at the wall above the next platforms door and pulled the trigger. The claw shot forward and clamped onto the wall, then a thick beam of energy connected the device and the claw and pulled Shard over to the other side. "Grappling hook, neat." As he was about to walk through the door he looked about for a place to put the gadget but found none. "Guess I get to keep it then."

As he walked into the next room he walked a few steps until stopping and looking about the large circular room with yet again another blue floor, except this one glowed on the spot your foot was placed.

"I'm getting the sense that this place is a lot like a boss chamber..." As he was about to walk further a large hatch opened up on the ceiling and a large figure three times the size of Shard dropped down, causing the ground to shake from the weight. Shard regained his balance and looked up at the new arrival, and all he could day was one phrase...

"Well I'm fucked."
