The song of summer
Chapter 41: A sea spray
Previous Chapter Next ChapterThe beach...
A Sirens home.
A paradise to normal and mythical sea dwellers alike, where they might find a warm day basking in the sun, resting in soft sand....Oooor a tasty land dwelling treat for lunch!
As Sunset shimmer belched like a fog horn and tossed her empty can of beer, it landing into the growing pile of its crushed brothers. She was having a hard time behind her thick sunglasses to tell which was more the case in the mid day sun soaked sand before her. Adagio was..playing. No really! Pla-y-ing!! The Alpha Siren, scantly clad in a two piece bright red bikini, completely ignoring how it had become a thong between her over sized rear and the firm jiggle of her soft tummy, was like a filly on holiday. Scooping hand fulls of sea water, soaked sand, anything she could find and hurling them at her youngest sibling. Sonata, the blue skinned giantess dressed in a more conservative but overly cute bright pink one piece..clearly built for a child as it groaned under the fast food workers girth, was having the time of her life. With soaked ponytail bobbing in the sea spray filled breeze, her snorted laugh like that of a foal. Danced away from her sisters attacks and made lude gestures in return.
Adagio cringed in mid throw, her normally bushel of orange curls. Now a sheet of soaked sheep skin, felt her left eye twinge at the sight of her Sisters "twin blue moons" and the upside down face beneath them, giving her the raspberry.
"You are so dead little one!"
"Naaaaaah!! Bring it on Dags! If you can catch me Mommy booty!"
The battle resumed, both females moving in the water in a way no human possible could. There legs cutting through it as if it was air. Adagio being her petie self was up to her waist, but running at almost a blur. Sonata who barely felt the water at her knees was flipping, splashing, cart wheeling and dancing away from her "enraged" sibling. Sunset found it..cute, she chuckled and glanced over at the female who shared her umbrella.
"What did you ever see in her?"
Rarity Dusk huffed. The proudly married mate of Sonata Dusk, lowered a pair of $500 sunglasses and glowered her perfect blue eyes into the brazen tomboy turned Mother. Unlike the gym shorts and tank top clad Sunset, Rarity was dressed in a form fitting, line cut, and french style'd swim suit, complete with smock and skirt. The gems running her shoulder bands gleamed even in the shadowed light of the two's hiding place from the sun. While her compatriot insisted on guzzling the putrid cheap beer, the lady of the group sipped a flute of champagne. The low born but high defined matron of the sewing needle, had taste, after all.
"I might ask you the same question, Dear."
"Uhh?"
Lowering her drink, she took the now empty can from Sunset's hand, properly put it into the bag she had assigned for recycles and replaced it with a chilled one from the over sized blue cooler between them. Clearing her throat in a dainty manner, the Madam of Fashion returned her shades to her brilliant eyes and turned back to watch the show between their wives.
"Surely you know how the others felt about you and Adagio all those years ago when we caught you two on a date?"
"Psh, ya..blew my phone up with texts for sure. And damn did you all give me a cold shoulder for a few days, especially Rainbow."
"Well yes Dear, you know how proud our little slugger can be. And while we felt dreadfully aful afterwards and thanked you for your forgiveness. I would dare presume you are casting similar judgement on ME!"
Sunset took that in for a moment, her jaw shifting as she popped the top on her new beer and leaned back, having found herself up in a defensive posture.
"Damn girl, I am sorry. I never ment it like that Rares It's just..just.."
"Just what Darling? Oh!..let me guess..."
The normal high class spark in pixie like diva's voice, turned ice cold.
"She is too silly for you Rarity, a klutz that ruins all of your finest works at the shop. She has the attention span of a dog, and is the size of a small barn. Oh and she is a moron!....You can guess the hosts of these comments I am sure...I have heard them all. None of them Sunset..NONE OF THEM. Are true. My wife may be a bit...unorthodox in her ways, but I love her, need her...she is my everything."
Rarity sighed out the last part of her speech, a warm smile splaying over her painted lips.
"Hey, I know love when I see it. I was your Maiden of honor wasn't I? Come on Rares, I am sorry ok I really didn't mean much by it, I was just making a joke. You know, like you do to me every time I come in for a sizing?"
"Well Darling! Teheh, you have well.."needed some adjustments" on more then, well, all of your garments these past few years."
"It's called having a pup Rarity!"
"I wasn't talking about your Maternity clothes, which mind you I had to CUSTOM make for you're..ahem, size."
Snorting and tossing the again empty can over her head, the mated Mother only smiled. She leaned back to let her buzz take over for a moment, as she watched her wife now play wrestling with her larger blue sister in the waters, there laughter hauntingly reminding her of her little girl. Sunset, perhaps lost in her slow brewing drunken state, or perhaps in nostalgia found her strong hands rubbing over the bubble that was her once six pack. She sighed openly and turned her head in a snap to Rarity.
"I miss it, you know."
Lowering the bottle she had been refilling her glass with, Rarity lifted a brow and returned the champagne to the ice bath it had come from.
"Really?! I..well, don't take this the wrong way Darling. But you..you..where so..so.."
"Fat?"
"YES! When you walked into a room your tummy lead the way! I spent hours just trying to create a proper nursing bra for those...ahem, lovely? Breasts of yours."
"Flirt..."
"It's the wine deary, but honestly?"
"Yes Rares, I miss it. And if you two would get busy, you could know what I am talking about!"
"Ohhhohhoohhh no!"
Waving her stick thin arms she rabidly pointed over at the other umbrella that was akin to there's. Gorrz loomed in his almost pale white flesh, the many claw and bite mark like tattoos that ranked his bear like body shown all the darker. His hair hooded down and loose, its white and black lines forming a curtain over a grinning Aria, who was looking up at the huge male that loomed over her, snapping her teeth playfully. Atop her heavily rounded purple stomach, sat Sunray, the year and some month old girl squealing in her Aunt and Uncles presences, a pink plastic shovel waving around as the two love birds flirted. The huge males paw like hands supporting along with Aria's, the tiny girl, his free, greedily petting at the fat womb of his mates.
"THOSE two have enough babies on board for ALL of us!"
"Psh, you are just all butt hurt about the idea that Sonata want's you to be the Mommy."
" I am NOT lossing my figure! Do you have ANY idea what I have had to go through to look as faaaabulous as I do?"
Toying with her can, Sunset muttered.
"I have heard rumors...:
Blinking, once, twice, then finally gasping, Rarity grabbed Sunset by the straps of her tank top, causing the braless Mother's bosom to tremble and slosh.
"WHAT HAVE YOU HEARD?!"
"Ladies? Are we interrupting, or just showing up at the right moment for a four way?"
The two, now nose to nose turned to look up at a soaking wet Adagio, and a giggling Sonata, whom was covered in wet sand and carrying a beach ball.
For once in her married life, Sunset was thankful for her mates overly flirty nature.
"I CALL BACK DOOR LICKS!"
Three voices boomed.
"SONATA!!"
