(Outside of Maretropolis City)

“Not that I don’t mind spending time with you Amethyst, but is there a reason why we’re out here in the middle of the field of Maretropolis?” Derpy asked as she felt a gust wind blow past her, causing her cape to cover her face. "Gah! Help! Everything turned dark!”

“The cape is covering your face Aunty.” Amethyst said as Derpy quickly pauses and removes the cape from off her head. “Anyway the reason why I called you out here is to see how good you are in a fight.”

“Didn’t we already do that with that Raven person a while back?”

“Yes, but in this case I want you to go all out on me.” Amethyst said as she begins to power herself up. “And in return, I will go all out as well. Don’t hold anything back Derpy.”

“Um….okay….sure I guess.”

“Good, then let us begin!” Quickly standing on her hind hooves, Amethyst quickly launches herself at Derpy like a bullet being fired from a gun as she prepares to kick her square in the face. Inches away from her face, Derpy quickly dodges Amethyst’s attack by bending backwards at the last second.

“Whoa, that was close.”

“Dammit.” Amethyst shot a burst of compressed fire from her hoof to turn her around as she tries to spin kick Derpy in the face.Only for her to duck out of the way causing her to miss at the last second. Spinning off to the side Amethyst quickly Jumps into the air as she tries to kick stomp Derpy. Only for the mare to quickly jump into the air causing Amethyst’s attack to hit the ground causing it to erupt.

“Wow, I knew Amethyst was strong but not this strong.” Derpy said as she noticed a strange light coming from the dust cloud caused by the cyborg pony. As she watches a concentrated beam of fire heading towards her, she quickly dodges it and lands a few steps in front of her. “That was close. Good thing I dodged it in time or else I would’ve lost my clothes.”

“Dammit, I need more speed.” Letting out a puff of steam from her mouth, Amethyst’s front hooves began to glow as she slams them onto the ground. This caused her to float a bit off the ground before vanishing from Derpy’s sight. This in turn caused Derpy to vanish as well as they both collided hooved with each other as they began to fly around the gully they’re in causing small shockwaves to erupt from each collision. As they reached the wall of the gully, Amethyst quickly stopped her barrage once she notice that Derpy wasn’t in front of her anymore.

“She’s gone? Dammit, don’t tell me that was an afterimage I was chasing.” The cyborg pony’s eyes glow as she begins to look around the area she was in. In a matter of seconds, she soon noticed Derpy quickly flying against the ground. “Found you!” She yelled as she darted off after the mare. Once she was within range of Derpy, she quickly lands in front of her causing the pegasus to stop. “Incinerate!” Slamming her hooves together, they quickly formed into a cannon as she fired a large beam of compressed fire at Derpy. “No way in hell you could’ve been able to avoid a wide range attack like this!”

Before Amethyst could relish in her supposed victory, she felt somepony tap her on the shoulder. Quickly turning her head to the side, she was soon met with a hoof pressed against her face as Derpy appeared behind her with a cheerful smile on her face.

“I win!” Derpy said as she quickly jumped out of the way of Amethyst sending a powerful right hook. As she dodged Amethyst’s right hook, she quickly lands back onto the ground. “Whoa! That was a very strong right hook you performed Amethyst.”

“Derpy….You remember what I said about not holding back?” Amethyst asked as she glared at the cross eyed pony. “Take this fight seriously and no fooling around. Keep fighting until I’m no longer able to fight.” She said as she begins to power herself up for another attack.“This test will act to least prove something about Derpy’s powers. I just need to push it just a little bit more so I can scan how much power she has. If my hypothesis is correct, then no pony can match up to her. Not even the princesses.”

“Okay Amethyst. If that’s what you want.” Derpy said as a serious expression appeared on her face as she slowly makes her way towards Amethyst.

“Show no mercy Derpy. That was the agreement-.” Before Amethyst could finish, Derpy quickly appeared in front of her for a split second as the cyborg tried to buck her away. As she tried to buck her away, Derpy quickly vanish from in front of Amethyst as she appeared behind her. A sudden sense of dread washed all over the cyborg pony as she slowly turned around to see Derpy getting ready to punch her. Fear took a hold onto the pony as she saw her own death appear in her mind as she braces for the impact of her attack. As the hoof was about to hit her in the face, Derpy quickly came to a complete halt as the hoof was a few inches away from Amethyst’s nose as a powerful gust of wind from the force behind the hoof punch blew past her.

“I win!” The mare said as she boops the cyber pony’s nose. “Let’s get something to eat. I’m kinda getting hungry.” She said as she turned around and begins to hop skip towards town. “Know of a place that we can get our grub on?”

“.....I might know of a place that we could eat once we get back to town.” Amethyst said, blinking with a dumbfound expression on her face. Looking behind herself after feeling the gust of wind blown past her, her eyes widen in shock at how part of the wall behind her was blown away like a giant fist punched through it like it was nothing.

“Good! You’re paying for it though. I’m kinda low on bits.” Derpy said, continuing her way towards town. Amethyst quickly looked over at Derpy, then back at the wall, then back at Derpy again as she scanned the pegasus.

“Just how strong is Derpy?” She thought, before she notice an error sign appearing in front of her vision. “I might need more information on this before I can assume anything about her.”

“What’s the matter? Is there something wrong?” Derpy asked as she looked back at Amethyst who shook her head.

“No, just lost in thought. That’s all.” The mare said as she begins to follow after Derpy.

(Maretropolis City, Udon shop)

“Oh, this place looks nice!” Derpy said as she smelled the air around her as they took a seat inside the shop. “It even smells like food in here too!”

“Yeah, found this place while I was out on the tour of town. Seeing how we’re kinda low on bits, I figure we could come here to get something to eat.” Amethyst said as she took a seat in front of Derpy.

“Smart move on your part. Celestia knows I would’ve suggested a muffin or something to eat.” She said while looking around. Just as she looked over at the counter, she noticed a sign up top and begins to read it. “Hey Amethyst. Want to do another challenge?” She asked as she pointed a hoof at the sign next to them.

“Super-Spicy Mega-Monster Udon Challenge. Prize upon winning is 500 bits. Failure results in paying 100 bits…” Amethyst finished reading as she looked back at Derpy with a worried expression on her face. “You sure you want to do this Auntie? You know what happened the last time you tried to eat spicy foods, right?”

“What’s the matter? Scared that I might beat you in something like this~?” Derpy said in a sassy attitude. “Guess that means I’ll be able to beat you in anything, huh?”

“.......Alright, I accept your challenge Auntie.” Amethyst waved a hoof at the chef in the kitchen to get his attention. “Chef! My Auntie and I would like to do the Super-Spicy Mega-Monster Udon Challenge please!”

“You sure you want to do that? If you lose then you both have to pay 100 bits each.” The colt said as the cyborg pony simply nodded. “Okay! Two Super-Spicy Mega-Monster Udon Challenge coming right up.”

“I’ll be sure to pay for your meal when you lose my little muffin.”

“Oh you are so going to lose when I finish this challenge.” Amethyst said as the chef walked over to them and placed two blue colored buckets on the table.

“Here you go ma’am. The Super-Spicy Mega-Monster Udon Challenge. Make sure you don’t make a mess of thing while you eat it.” He said before standing on the sidelines to watch. Derpy’s eyes widen upon seeing the bucket filled to the brim with upon. Looking over it, she gulps down her saluvia as she looked over at Amethyst with a worry expression on her face.

“O-Okay….maybe this was more than I was expecting.”

“Gonna call it quits then?” Amethyst asked with a cocky grin on her face. Derpy simply shook her head as a determined expression appeared on her face followed by flames of determination surround her body. Don’t know how that is possible, but this is Derpy we’re talking about.

“No way! I’ll show you that I can beat you and gloat about it in your face for years to come!”

“Alright then, don’t blame me if you lose and humiliate yourself Auntie.” Amethyst said as she and Derpy prepare to get ready to eat.

“You two ready?” The chef said as both mares nodded. “On your mark.” Amethyst levitated a pair of chopstick over to her while Derpy uses her wings as hands to grab her own pair of chopstick. “Get set.” Both mares pulled their buckets of Udon close to them as they glared at each other in determination. “Go!”
