I was sitting on the train the babies were crying and I was the one who had Cobbler in my arms just bobbing him up and down. "Shh, it's okay buddy. We're just going to see uncle Shining, Aunt Cadence and your new cousin." AJ was still a bit upset at me but Tia explained and she simmered down a lot. The babies were eight months old by now and are growing their own personalities. Cupcake is nice and quiet, she gets along well with Fluttershy, but she loves a game of peak-a-boo. Surprise is a lot like Pinkie when she was a foal, and she loves her stuffy. Her stuffy is a stuffed animal that Aunt Luna got Surprise and she can never go anywhere without it. It's a stuffed ursa minor and it's enchanted to change star patterns depending on what time of day it is. Popper was a bit of an unknown at this time, he loved to explore but he almost is always with Cobbler. Speaking of Cobbler, he is a biter. He loves to just chew on things to gum them up. That's why we keep spare pacifiers on our bodies at all times.

Finally there is Applejack's little girl, Tart. Apple Tart was as sweet as a button, she loved to be with her mommies, Pinkie and AJ especially. Because Pinkie is funny and AJ will coddle her. Scootaloo and Spike were a hell of a lot of help, they helped us destress after the babies wear themselves out. Rainbow and Fluttershy were more patient than saints, and I always commend them for it, with Rainbow I gave her the good stuff........ For Fluttershy I gave her back and belly rubs. Rainbow was also incredibly pissed that she couldn't fly anymore. The doctors told her that she would injure the baby if she did.

When we stepped off the train everyone was so excited to see the new baby. The guards were ready to escort us to the palace and Luna had arrived the night before to help Cadence and Armor relax. "Damn it's cold up here." I said while holding Cobbler.

"Watch your language around the kids." Twilight scolded me.

"It's not like they can understand what I'm saying." I replied.

"That may be true but they will be learning soon, it's better to get off that habit now before they learn it." She said.

"You and your pension for teaching the children at an early age."

"It worked for Spike."

"Whom you never thought of being family until several months ago." I retorted.

"I have been doing my best to make that up to him. I've been spending more one on one time with him, though yes I do admit that I should have done something much earlier." Twilight said while holding Popper.

"No one's perfect." I said. The guards let us ride in a carriage while we changed the babies into warmer clothes. "I thought it was supposed to be nice and sunny out here today."

"It was, but the Empire is so far to the north that a rouge snowstorm could blow in and they'd be defenseless against it." Rainbow said and all the girls looked at her. "You all keep forgetting that I'm a part of the weather team back in Ponyville, it's sort of required to know these things." She said.

"I don't think that's it." Tia said. "Mickey's right, and so is Dash. I feel like there's something else at work here."

We soon arrived at the palace and we arrived in the hall where Armor was pacing. "Hey bro, you alright?" I asked.

"No I'm not." He said. "Can I talk to you alone Mickey?"

"Ummm, sure." I said and handed Cobbler over to Tia, and walked with Armor. "What's going on?"

"It's Flurry, she's an alicorn." He said. "Her magic is getting out of control, she's been causing this crazy weather patterns. Cadence has been thinking putting a inhibitor ring on her to calm it down. I don't want to do that to my baby, but I would have no choice."

"Shining, look do you what have to, but think about if it would hurt her."

"It shouldn't but when she gets over it we'll take it off when she gets more in control." Armor said.

I gave him a hug, "It'll work out."

"How do you do it?" Armor asked.

"Have a hell of a lot of patience." I said as we walked back.

Armor talked to Cadence and they put the inhibitor ring on her horn, that caused the clouds overhead to pass by. Flurry got a lot calmer from the ring after she met her new cousins. Surprise and Cobbler started to nom on her wings and Flurry was curious about that she looked at Surprise's wings and was looked at her mommy. She started to throw a tissy and Cadence picked her up and bounce her. "Flurry has been confused about her wing and horn size since she has seen other foals."

"Do you think that we should shrink them so that she'll be able to fit in?" Armor suggested.

"I think we should, and when she starts to really grow we'll increase the sizes while she sleeps." Cadence said.

"Normally I wouldn't condone something like this to a child, but I honestly think it could really help her. She won't be labeled as a freak, so you're saving a lot of trouble." I said.

"Yes, I must agree. It's very shocking and the magic is too powerful." Twilight said.

"Actually to tell you the truth, I'm still pregnant." Cadence said. "This is a changeling."

"Then why is she an alicorn?" Tia asked. "Why did you take her in to begin with?"

"She's a changeling queen, and we found her on our balcony one night." Shining said.

"Normally we would have gotten her tossed out on her tail, but when we looked into those innocent little eyes. We just had to help her, she never did anything wrong." Cadence said. "The reason she's an alicorn is because of my magic, she attached to me and we had an artist draw up an redition of what a child between the two of us would look like and had her shift into that."

"Then why all the deception?" Twilight asked.

"You know our history with the changelings, but this is a chance to start over. You forgave Starlight after she took your cutie marks away, maybe we could do the same." Shining said holding Flurry.

"It does make sense." Pinkie said. "You just announced that you were pregnant like what 6 weeks ago?"

"Yeah, trust me and Pinkie you cannot have been pregnant and given birth that damn fast, alicorn or not you haven't experienced the pain of childbirth." Applejack said and Pinkie agreed.

"Let's just have a nice visit and let the babies get to know each other." I said. "I'll watch over them." Needless to say I was in for one long ass night.

MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well I'm back, with a vengence and I'm not gonna break until I reach over 100,000 words. I had hit such a writers block but when I saw those views and likes just keep going up I knew I couldn't give up. I had gone over this chapter several times (90) but who keeps count? Anyways, thank you. You guys are what help me continue this story, I know I need an editor. But I could really just use some support right now.
