The Third and Fourth Spring Locks
Chapter 2: A New World
Previous Chapter Next ChapterNight time fell upon the land and both me and Sophia stood up, ready to search around the the town that was not too far away.
She looked at me, a little uneasy about my plan. "What if we are seen?" Sophia asked me.
"Let's try and stick to the shadows, keep out of sight." She nodded at me and we both started to walk towards the town.
As we walked along the path toward the town Sophia continued to ask me what I think we should do in some situations that might happen, like what would happen if we were seen, what if we were taken to another location in the world that was miles away, and so on.
"If we are seen I think we should play stupid. We might be able to pass off as normal animatronics." She looked sad at his suggestion.
"I don't want to go back. What is the point? Vincent almost never comes to the Pizzeria and even when he does it is only for a very short while." I felt my anger rise when I heard his name. Vincent was a total coward, he always left phone messages to help the new guards so he did not need to go. I started to think that he knew me, Sophia and the kids haunted that place and that is why he never comes to it. We could go outside but we have no idea where Vincent lives and even if we did, could we get there in time and would the kids know he was killed? Unlikely, so we stayed in that awful place, hoping he would slip up.
"It will all be worth it, We just need to be patent. Sooner or later he is bound to slip up." I heard her giggle and looked to her. She was looking at a sign.
I walked over to her and looked at the sign. "What a silly name." She said and I saw what the sign said. 'Welcome to Ponyville' I giggled too.
"This is almost as silly at that town that is called Batman."
Me and Sophia continued to walk towards the town and when were close enough we saw they were mostly made of wood and hay or straw. They looked like houses you would see in times like the bronze or dark age. There was castle close to the center that looked like it was made of crystals.
"So, what are we looking for?" Sophia asked me.
"Look for anything that can give us a idea of where we are. Meet me at the sign before sunrise." Sophia walked off to have a look around and so did I. Needless to say this place was impressive. I saw a house made of gingerbread, a large applefarm and the castle was just as, if not more, cool than the rest of the town. As I looked into the window of the gingerbread house I saw....a Pink pony heading up the stairs. "Pink pony? What?" I chose to forget it and continued to look around. I looked into more windows and I was always met with the same result. Pony after pony in each and every house. I started to wonder if I was insane.
I was now heading back to the ponyville sign to meet with Sophia as I saw the sun was starting to rise. I was a little amazed to see her already there.
I walked up to her. "How did your search go?"
"The town is more or less like a old age town, but the one who live there are...get this...ponies." I was happy to know I was not seeing things so I now knew I was not insane.
"I know, I saw them too. What do you want to do?" I asked her as I had no clue as to what to do.
"Can we just sleep? If we are seen it could be bad for us." I had did not disagree with her.
I looked towards the forest and then back at her. "Alright, but do you think we should go into the forest to sleep?" She nodded.
"Yes. But not too far from the town." I nodded in agreement and we both walked towards the forest. When we passed 4 trees going inwards we stopped and turned around to face in the direction of the town before we sat down against some trees. "Goodnight Tommy."
"Night Sophia." I closed my eyes as the suns light hit the town and I drifted off into another dream."
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. 2 Years ago.
All I saw was darkness and I felt nothing as I lay down. I tried to move but I found I could not but I did hear some voices.
"How did these locks fail. They were new and were the best they had in stock?" It was faint but I realized the voice. It was Fred the manager.
"It was not so much the locks. The screws were not in correctly." I heard another voice and I felt my rage boil. It was Vincent.
"Yes, I see it. The screws are bent and the locks are too. This was not a failure to hold the locks back, but to hold in place what prevents them from going off. Those locks are dug very deep into this body. I don't think we can remove them." I managed to get my sight back. I saw I was in the back room and I was looking at the roof. I tried to move my eyes too but they too would not move.
"So what should we do?" Vincent asked. Fred started to leave.
"Just hide them. We could change and use those suits in the future if they are needed. But try to cover up the smell and clean the blood from the backstage room. Also, money is getting to be a problem. We might need to close this room off or the full restaurant. I want you to be ready to board and plaster over the door to this room if it comes to it." Fred said before closing the door. Vincent giggled.
"I can't believe it. I got away with it. 2 more, and they are none the wiser." He pulled out a screwdriver. "Now all I need to do is get rid of you." He said before placing it back in his pocket. "Time to clean up the blood." Vincent got some bleach and a mop that was next to him and walked out of the door. When he was at the door he pulled out his phone and called someone.
"Uh, hello? Hello. Uhh, There's been a slight change in company policy concerning use of the suits. Um...Don't. After learning of a unfortunate incident at the sister location involving multiple and simultaneous spring lock failures, the company has deemed the suits temporarily unfit for employees." He closed the door and locked it. When he did I could feel myself being able to move again. I looked over to the side and saw Chica and she started to move.
"Tommy?" She asked.
"Yes. Sophia?" She nodded I tried to move my arms but they seemed to be stuck so I tried a bit harder and managed to move them towards Sophia...and heard a sickening crack.
Sophia seemed to shake with disgust. "What was that?" I had a idea of what I might be but I needed more proof.
"Sophia, would you please move your arm to me?" She did it and the same kind of crack was heard. "Ok. It's likely our old body in these suits. The locks are...breaking the bones." If I had a stomach then I would likely be throwing up right now knowing that.
As I looked down at myself I saw my suit was wet and there was blood puddles on the floor. So me and Sophia were likely cleaned soon after these suits went off. We both heard some giggling behind us and we both turned to see Fredbear and spring Bonnie but only Fredbear seemed to be alive as his eyes were glowing.
"Another failure. That's 5." He said.
"What do you mean?" Sophia asked.
"I was the first. The first lock failure. Poor kid, got his skull crushed. A few days later. Again, me and another fazbear employee. Killed and crushed. Moisture set the locks off, and now you two. They thought of stopping the spring suits after the first 3 fails, but no. These suits are cheaper and they just got new spring locks, and look how that turned out."
This surprised me. I had no clue that others have died in these locks. But one the that Fredbear said I did not understand.
"You said you died in it after the kid got his skull crushed. Why would you go in it when something like that happened?" His eyes looked down to the ground.
"At the time I had no idea that a kid died. The company kept it silent and passed it off as a accident to these who saw it. Needless to say, when the other 2 failures happened. The ones in charge got in major trouble and both me and Bonnie were left here to rot." Now Bonnie's eyes started to glow.
"Can you two not move?" I asked.
"No endoskeleton. Can't move." I was going to get up and walk over to them until I heard footsteps coming this way. I looked and Sophia and she nodded. With that we both we back to how we were before and both Fredbear and Bonnie's eyes stopped glowing.
The door opened and both Fredbear and Vincent walked in.
"...and your sure that's a good idea?" Fredbear asked.
"Think about it. It would let us use Fredbear again. For important events like birthday parties."
"I suppose you're right. Got the gold spray cans?" Vincent held up 4 gold spray cans. " Good. Help me with Fredbear." They both lifted up Fredbear and carried him out of the room. The door closed and me and Sophia both started to move again.
"Spring Bonnie, How long have you been here?" I asked and his eye brightened up again.
"Around 2years." I heard the first part but his voice started to fade and the area around me started to become like a void. I looked over to Sophia and even she was gone.
"Puppet. Is this your doing?" I asked out to the void and received no answer. I heard footsteps behind me so I turned around to see...a purple pony looking at me.
She had a hair and tail that were sparkling like the night stars, her coat was a nice purple night color and her eyes were as silver color. She had wings and a horn and was also wearing some black armour. She was looking at me with curious eyes.
"Who are you?" She seemed to be a bit surprised I could speak as she took a step back.
"I am Luna, Princess Luna. Who or what might you be." I had no clue why, but I felt like I could trust her a little.
"Tom, or spring Foxy. Take your pick. I am an animatronic." She stayed silent for a moment.
"Well...Tom the animatronic. Your are currently dreaming. I must say I have never seen your kind before. Are you native to Equestria? She asked.
"Equestria? Is this not earth?" She shook her head.
"I have never heard of such a place. So you must be new here."
"What are you doing in my dream?" I asked her.
"As the Princess of the night is is by duty to see to it that those who sleep dream pleasantly." I nodded as I understood.
"Well. Why did you come to mine?"
"I wanted to meet you as something like you, a giant metal fox, I never seen or heard of. That and I was drawn to your dream by a large amount of anger." I thought back to when I was last angry and I remembered it was when I heard Vincent. I did not notice it by my eyes went black with red pinprick pupils and even the black of the void I was currently in turned a few shades redder. "Such...Rage." She said with a little fear.
"Well you would be insanely mad too if you met the one who killed you and your special someone!" I shouted, not quite in control of my tone of voice.
"Killed? You died? But you're alive. You're talking and moving." I put my hook on my lower jaw and my hand on the top and pulled them apart. I could still see Luna's face as I pulled them apart to show her the head of the corpse of my in my previous life. She turned from purple to white and froze with shock and disgust, them screamed.
The dream collapsed and I was thrown back to my body and woke up. I looked over to Sophia and saw she was still sleeping so I waited. I did not want to try to go back to sleep. I looked up at the sky and to my surprise, it was still daytime. The sun was in the center of the sky so it was likely around noon. Sophia suddenly jumped awake.
"Tom. You're awake?" I nodded.
"Yes, I had a strange dream about a pony named Luna" She just looked at me in surprise when I said that.
"You dreamed of her too?" I nodded.
"Well, we are awake now so we might as well stay awake. What do you want to do?" I asked her.
She stayed silent for a few moments. "Can we just go for a walk."
"Alright." We both got up and started to walk along the sides of the forest. Always keeping the exit in sight.
