Ponyville: Assault

Hellcat and Chaffee were with the 5th Platoon that would follow the charge to Ponyville. Sherman Fury was with 1st platoon leader. Sherman Jumbo and Easy Eight were with them along with Wolverine. The American division were hiding behind trees with Stuarts in the front marking out targets. M37's were called to pound the Equestrian village. Hellcat saw dozens of M37's lining up behind each other and firing volley after volley. In the night, flashes of explosions were seen. Then a burning Equestrian Chi Ri rumbled out of the village and into the firing line of the US TD's. T28 Prototype fired shell after shell at the tank. T28 laughed as he continued firing at the burning tank whose crew was being incinerated by the flames. T95 unloaded a large caliber HE shell at the tank blowing up its ammunition. Soon, Equestrian Japanese tanks rolled out of cover and charged at the US armor.Hellcat fired his gun at a Chi Nu Kai and tracked it. The M37's fired and hit their targets. One by one, the Equestrian tanks exploded. An enemy Ch To fired an AP round towards a Sherman's turret. The round penetrated and the the Sherman fired back with his APCR shell at the Chi To that hit his ammo rack. Hellcat and Chaffee saw the Equestrians retreating. M34 fired a few more volley's at the retreating tanks hitting them. The charge was devastating. A few artillery and tank destroyers were destroyed. T32 and T34 were aflame and Sherman Fury's 1st platoon was nearly wiped out. Sherman Fury had 6 tanks total. He fought against a Tiger 1 that took out four of his tanks leaving himself. There was destruction for miles, wrecked tanks everywhere smoke from the wreckage was thick and was hard to see. Fury moved forward.

As he drove for miles the fog was clear he saw a small farm in which he could hold position. He drove near the farm an explosion erupted on his tracks immobilizing him. He looked around and didn't see a tank or hear its shot. It must of been a mine Fury thought. His crew wasn't equipped with a small repair kit to repair the damage and looked at his wheels and saw that the mine had cut one of his wheels in half leaving him immobilized. Fury dozed off for a few minutes when he heard marching in the distance. He took out his binoculars to see a battalion of royal guards marching his way. He quickly pulled leaves and twigs and poured a small amount of gasoline to start a fire disguising him as a knocked out tank. As the ponies marched closer Fury opened fire. The guns hit some ponies at point blank range ripping them to shreds. Some ponies dashed for the farm house in which Fury responded with Willy Pete that soon filled the house. The ponies screamed as the phosphorous burned them and their comrades. Fury fired his machine guns at the ponies killing many in minutes. Fury aimed at a supply wagon and set it on fire. The ponies used their new weapons that were powerful enough to penetrate a tank. Fury noticed that these had a close resemblance to Panzerfausts. He fired his machine guns at the Panzerfaust teams to prevent any assault. One flanked him and fired at his side killing his loader. Hours past turning the day into night. Fire lit the battleground as Fury fought on. His crew was running out of ammunition and began to use his 50. cal and grenades killing more of the Royal Guards. Fury used AP shells that tore through the ponies as the 76mm shell hit them. Soon, he used up more and more of his shells that killed more Royal Guards. Fury was closer to defeat as he was low on ammo and his crew were killed on by one. Soon 5 of his crew were knocked out leaving bow gunner/assistant driver.

Fury looked around him and saw about 200 ponies lying dead on the ground. Cartridges lay on the ground and on himself. Dead bodies were everywhere and were covered in mud. A Sherman column found Fury and Armored Recovery Vehicles (ARV) tended him. One of the ARV's said to him, "You're a hero buddy." Fury was slowly dying with the ARV's words echoing in his mind. The other Sherman's looked at the carnage and death surrounding the infamous Fury.
