Cole and his team of heroes re-appeared in the RV that was still on the highway, which was full of burning corpses and destroyed cars. Twilight immediately covered Fluttershy’s eyes so she wouldn’t see the black bodies that the boy had burnt. When Jordan was re oriented, he handed back the A-7 “Skullfucker” to Taylor. Taylor gave it a twirl and returned it to her de-atomiser, along with her other weapons. Cole noticed the strange looking gun and said, “I’ve never seen a gun like that before.”

Taylor gave a chuckle before she said, “That’s because it’s the only one of its kind. I made it myself.”

Cole was obviously impressed with her craftiness, Cole then said, “Before we play tourist for a bit, I want to congratulate everyone in here for doing an amazing job,” Cole walked up to Twilight and said, “especially you, Twilight.” Cole gave her a gentle hug before turning around and saying, “Off to a place that will be of slight interest! Preferably a restaurant because I am hungry as fuck!” Jordan gave a long sigh before dropping himself into the driver’s seat and pressing a few buttons. Before they knew it, the bus was being transported to another section of the city.

The voice in the speaker was crackly at first but managed to say, “Hi welcome to Mc Donald’s, may I take your order?”

Jordan, who was speaking into the machine, said, “Yeah, I’ll have four double bacon cheeseburger meals, one double bacon cheeseburger alone, and five medium fries alone.”

The voice responded with, “Okay, so your total is $42.98”

Jordan pulled up to the window to see the girl prepared to give it to a minivan, Jordan then yelled, “Up here, the heroes of the day would like their meals.”

The woman at the window suddenly gasped her eyes wide with surprise as she turned inside and said, “Hey, those guys that killed the giant snake thing are here!” She then poked her head out of the window and said to Jordan, “I’ll pay for this! Go on ahead!”

Jordan gave a half smile before saying, “Thanks, have a good day!” Jordan pulled the RV out of the Mc Donald’s drive thru and began to drive for the fanciest hotel they could find in L.A. That’s right, they left for New York. Since the author of the story hates describing long trips he decided to have them teleport to N.Y. instead. Jordan slowly pulled the RV up to the Four Seasons Hotel.

Before they exited, Cole reminded Twilight to change the ponies into human. When all of that was done, Cole looked at Spike; he had completely forgotten he came with them on the trip. He kneeled down and said to the dragon, “Have you ever changed into a human before?”

Spike shook his head saying, “No, but since I already walk on two feet, how different could it be?” Since Cole has never been a dragon before, he had to agree with him. He turned to Twilight and gave her a nod. Twilight sighed; it was a little tiring having to constantly change ponies from one form to another. Her eyes began to glow a bright purple while Spike began to float into the air. As Spike floated there he said, “This feels odd.” Before Spike could say anything else, his entire small body was wrapped in a ribbon of light. The ribbons acted as a form of cocoon as it began to change shape. When the transformation was over, Spike landed on the ground. At first Spike had a few troubles keeping balance on legs that long, but he managed. Spike stumbled for the bathroom mirror to see himself. He had bleach blond hair and striking green eyes, his voice was completely different, it sounded as though it was the voice of a ten year old. Spike walked back out saying, “How old do I look?”

Cole rubbed his chin before saying, “You look like your around nine or ten years old. It suits your personality. I’m going to guess your ages too, girls. Twilight, you look to be about nineteen, like me. Rarity looks to be about twenty one or so, thank goodness (now someone can buy them alcohol). Pinkie looks to be about nineteen as well. Fluttershy is twenty something. Applejack looks to be about twenty three, and Dash here looks to be eighteen. I think that suits you all well. Now when anyone asks, just say your actual names are your nicknames. Ready? Let’s go!” Cole then opened the door to see a huge crowd of people surrounding them.

One reporter shouted from the crowd saying, “People are saying you’re related to Cole O’Reilly, is that true?”

Cole gave a laugh as his eyes turned a solid yellow. He said loudly as to speak above the crowd, “We all know about that guy, Cole, who saved us from failed military bio-weaponry, to say that I’m related to him in any way is entirely false. I’m William Culford, I’m from Scotland, while he’s from Ireland.”

Another reporter, this one was a woman, shouted, “What about the rumours that you were involved in the terrorist attack on the highway?”

Cole gave her a serious look before saying into the microphones, “That was not a terrorist; it was another failed bio-weapon experiment. A few lines of code were left out causing the droid to go haywire and go rogue. Now if you’ll all excuse me,” Cole spread his hands slowly as the crowd of reporters were suddenly moved aside, “me, my girlfriend, and my team are going to be staying here for the night.”

One reporter shouted over Cole, interrupting him saying, “What about your telekinetic abilities? These powers cannot be physically recreated by machine.”

Cole stopped in his tracks, he turned to the reporter and said, “Listen, there are things in this world that are beyond human comprehension, the reason I’m saying all of this bullshit is because if I tell all you stupid people.” Cole looked into one of the cameras for CNN and said, “That’s right, you stupid people out there won’t understand a single thing. But since you ask so nicely I will have to tell you. My powers are achieved through thousands of years of evolution, a small race of people have been slowly flourishing underground. We have a capability of using 32% of our brain. That little snippet of space gives us our super powers. Its simple evolution, and if you try to ask me to do a test, I will use you as a demonstration of my powers.” Cole gave the reporters a dirty look before sighing and saying, “Look, I’m sorry about that, but it’s how you treat what just happened that pisses me off. More than eighty innocent lives were lost today and all you care about is where I’m sleeping. Try investigating into the killings, find out where the enemy might strike next. And be prepared, were entering a new millennium people, one with threats far greater than we could imagine.” Cole then wrapped his arm around the human Rainbow Dash and walked through the doors. The bellhop decided to let Cole stay for free but only for the night.

When the group got into the villa at the top and once the girls returned to human form, Rarity immediately said, “The style, the elegance, the beauty. Oh this place is like a palace!” Rarity began to spin around the room.

Cole laughed and said, “Don’t get too excited, were only staying for the night.”

Immediately, Pinkie and Twilight rushed for one of the rooms while Pinkie yelled, “Called dibs.”

Fluttershy and Rarity rushed for another as Rarity said, “A Jacuzzi?”

Applejack followed after Rarity saying, “I’m pretty sure Rarity’s gonna fall asleep in the hot tub, so I’m gonna bunk with them.”

Spike rushed after her saying, “Rarity might need company.”

Cole and Dash dove for the last room while Cole said, “No way! Water beds!”

Once everyone was gone, and Jordan, Taylor, and Kevin were alone in the room, Jordan pulled one of the bacon cheeseburgers out and walked to Fluttershy’s room saying, “Hey Fluttershy, come try this, I think you might like it.”

Fluttershy poked her yellow head out of the door saying, “What is it?”

Jordan waved the burger in front of her saying, “Try this, it’s delicious!” Fluttershy slowly exited the room; she slowly approached the burger while taking sniffs at it. She then took a small bite out of it, at first she was slow to chew but that soon changed.

Fluttershy took the burger out of Jordan’s hands and began eating away, with her mouth half full she said, “This is incredible, what is it made of?”

Jordan tried his best to hold back a smile before saying, “Just made of cows and pigs.” Fluttershy immediately froze, her eyes wide with horror at what she was doing. She was mortified even more by how she actually enjoyed it! Flutershy’s hooves began to shake as the burger dropped from her hooves. Jordan and the other two burst out laughing at the sight as the walked into their own separate room.

As Kevin changed into his street clothes, he took off his helmet. Underneath the helmet was a man aged about 23 with straight black hair cut short. He had a clean shave and had brown eyes. Jordan had long black hair and a thick beard, he looked to be about 24. His eyes were a greenish color as he took off his glasses. Taylor’s hair had a bit of a Punk style to it. Her eyes were dark red and her face was narrowish.

Jordan Taylor, and Kevin were dressed in street attire as they watched the television. They were watching a news report on the events that took place in L.A. a few hours ago. The news anchor said to the camera, “People are saying this is the new age of the super heroes. Others are saying this is the new age of aliens. Both agree that what happened today will be a day no one will ever forget. Around noon today, a boy identified as Jack Swagger went on rampage, causing $30,000 of damage and killing eighty people, most of them children. The terrorism ended when an unknown man killed what appeared to be the boy’s giant pet snake and the boy himself. He was then found in New York a few hours later stopping at the Four Seasons Hotel. Some say that they were aliens he killed, others say that it was a monster, some even think that it was an ancient god that has returned.” The three’s attention was diverted from the television when they heard pounding on the door. Immediately, Cole burst through the door and grabbed Jordan by the throat, he lifted him up and brought him to the large window behind them. The window immediately disappeared as Jordan hung over the edge.

Cole then said, “I just found Fluttershy trying to drown herself, mind telling me what the fuck you did to her?”

Jordan gulped before saying, “It was a simple prank, calm down.”

Cole dropped Jordan but immediately caught him again while yelling, “A simple prank doesn’t result with someone trying to kill themselves. You knew damn well that she was a veterinarian and a vegetarian.” Cole then threw Jordan across the room while saying, “You people disgust me, and I thought my best friends would actually accept these incredible ponies as friends too. But you’re too stubborn to see past their colors to learn that they actually have incredible qualities. They’re so innocent and you go on and try to get them to commit suicide, how soulless are you.” Cole then stormed out of the room, the window reappeared in its original place.

The news reporter then said, “In related news, a man who goes by the name Sethisto is being interviewed for his knowledge on military information and spreading it across his blog.”

Kevin looked down at Jordan and said, “Cole’s right, you know. I’m going to apologise to her. That was really cruel.”

As Kevin walked out of the room, Jordan said, “Whatever, he’s gone soft.”

Kevin walked to the door that was filled with the sound of weeping, he then said in a soft voice, “Fluttershy, listen I’m sorry for what we did, that was horribly cruel of us to do that to you. Please let me in so I can explain.” Slowly the door opened up, inside there was Fluttershy in the corner. The lights were off as she sat in the corner crying, Kevin walked up to her slowly and kneeled down.

Fluttershy sniffled before saying, “Why would you do that to me? I love animals and take care of the, and you just made me eat two at the same time.”

Kevin sat down next to her and said, “We didn’t know you enough to know that you were this sensitive, it was mostly Jordan’s idea to do this. But I’m taking responsibility for it, we didn’t take the time to learn about you and understand that you are one of the most interesting things to happen to us.”

Fluttershy wiped a tear from her eye before saying, “What’s so interesting about me?”

Kevin shrugged as he said, “Well to start off, you’re kind, you’re generous, you’re thoughtful, you’re delicate, you’re cute.” Kevin felt his face grow extremely hot as the last word escaped his mouth.

Fluttershy’s ears immediately flicked into a perk as she said, “You think I’m cute?”

Kevin took a deep breath of courage before saying, “Yeah, you have this innocent look in your eyes and the way your hair covers one of them is just… adorable.” Slow at first, Fluttershy rested her head on Kevin’s arm.

Fluttershy took in a deep breath, the crying over now as she said, “I forgive you, Kevin.”

Kevin then had a sensational idea; he turned his head to face Fluttershy as he said, “How about I make it up to you, you like animals right?”

Fluttershy perked up when Kevin mentioned animals, “Oh yes. I love animals, every animal in Equestria is my favourite!” she said with a smile on her face.

“Well how about we visit Earth’s animals? You and me.” Kevin gave her a wink with the last sentence.

“That would be wonderful!” Fluttershy spread her wings and began to hover above Kevin, she brushed the hair from her eyes as she rose.

“Then let’s go.” Kevin immediately got to his feet and headed for the door.

As they exited, Cole and Dash watched them, Cole turned to Rainbow Dash and said with a large smile on his face as he said, “I knew Kevin was a good kid, his heart is in the right place.” He then kissed Dash on the lips before saying, “Soon he’ll know what it’s like to love a pony like you.” Dash blushed at the not so charming thing Cole said. Cole brought an arm around Dash as they cuddled in bed together. Soon Dash was asleep in Cole’s arm, the sight of this made Cole want to vomit a rainbow of candy (even magic can’t do that) but he couldn’t. Instead he cuddled closer and kissed Dash on the forehead as he drifted into his dreams.

Kevin looked up at the large gates and said, “Well here we are, the Central Park zoo!”

Fluttershy was a little nervous looking up at the menacing structure before her, but after looking back at Kevin, she calmed down a little bit and said, “Nopony is here…”

Kevin then said with a gentle laugh, “That’s because it’s closed, I know how uncomfortable you get in crowds so I brought you here when it’s empty.” Kevin then began to climb the fence and before either of them knew it, they were both on the inside of the zoo. Fluttershy immediately broke into a canter towards the nearest animals. Fluttershy was in her own little world as Kevin looked at the snakes.

Suddenly, one of the snakes looked at him and said, “Hello, Kevin Rowd.”

Kevin jumped back at the sight of this before saying in a shaking voice, “D-Discord? I thought you were gone?”

The snake laughed as it said, “My dear boy, I am gone, I can’t make any physical contact with this world other than through people and animals. Listen, I know why you’re working for that dreadful Cole.”

Kevin had a puzzled look on his face before saying, “Why am I working for Cole?”

The snake gave a flick of its tongue before saying, “Your sister, she’s sick isn’t she? I think your medics called her ‘terminally ill’, she has pancreatic cancer, doesn’t she?”

Kevin tried his best not to tear up at the thought and managed to say, “Every day I saw her suffer, I joined Cole because the salary would help afford possible treatments for it.”

The snake approached the window as it gave another flick of its tongue while saying, “What if I told you that I can make it go away, I can take that horrible disease from her and bring her back to her normal self again?”

Kevin couldn’t help but listen to Discord now; he wanted to do whatever he could to help his sister. Kevin said to the snake, “How would you do it? What do I have to do?”

The snake somehow smiled as it said, “I’m a god, I can do whatever I want, all you have to do is work for me. It’s as simple as that.”

Kevin lowered his head, his mind deep in thought. He then said, “I don’t trust you, Discord. You’re the devil and I believe Cole O’Reilly will help me.”

The snake’s eyes began to glow as it pressed its face against the window, the snake said in an impatient voice, “They lie to you, Kevin. Work for me and I will give her back her life.”

Kevin got angry; he suddenly began to make sense to him. Kevin then said, “What do I have to do?”

The snake gave a sinister smile before saying, “Kill the ponies. By any means possible.”

Kevin’s ears flicked as he heard a familiar shy voice yell, “Kevin, where are you? I’m scared, come on I want to talk to you.” Kevin then stepped away from the snake cage, Discord’s snake was gone now. When Fluttershy saw Kevin she gave a long sigh before saying, “I thought I lost you.”

Kevin gave a fake smile before saying, “Don’t worry, I’d never leave you.”

Fluttershy then flew next to Kevin saying, “So why did you work for Cole even though you didn’t really like us ponies?”

Kevin’s head hung low as he said, “I wanted to help find a cure to my sister’s disease before she dies. I would do anything to help her, so I joined the winning side of the battle in hopes that I can afford the cure someday.” By now, Fluttershy had her back to Kevin. His hand immediately went for his coat; he brought out a tactical knife as he approached her silently. Kevin continued his rambling, “Unfortunately, the winning side has changed. That means that I have too.”

Fluttershy turned her head before Kevin could react and said, “What do you mean?” As Kevin dove for her with the knife in the air, Fluttershy screamed and began to run.

Kevin grabbed her by the tail and dragged her to him while saying, “I mean, Discord promised me that my sister would get better if I kill you all. That won’t be a problem.” Kevin launched his hand into the air and began to drive it for Fluttershy’s heart. All Fluttershy could let out was a small scream as she watched the metal blade dive for her heart. Instead of feeling the pain of a blade inside her, she heard a loud thundering noise approach her at high speeds. She opened her eyes just in time to see Jordan in his suit jump over the wall of the zoo and land over top of the two. He immediately grabbed Kevin’s arm and lifted him into the air and threw him aside.

Jordan snorted as he said, “I knew you would betray us!”

Kevin brought his blade into combat mode as he shouted, “Its you whose betraying us! All Discord wants to do is kill those fucking horses. It’s Cole that’s causing him to kill humans.”

Jordan shook his head, his suit lighted up with color as he said, “Discord fucked with your mind too, huh?” Kevin didn’t respond, instead he ran for Jordan with his knife ready. Jordan simply transferred the energy from Kevin’s attack into a throw and brought Kevin to the ground. Kevin struggled; he was blind with rage as he squirmed. Suddenly, Kevin grew strength that was beyond human. He brought his legs in and kicked Jordan a few meters away and went for Fluttershy. Jordan got back up and dove for Kevin, Jordan and Fluttershy closed their eyes when they heard the sound of a knife penetrating skin. Fluttershy screamed but could not feel any pain. She looked up at Jordan to see him with the four inch blade deep inside his chest. Kevin laughed as he tried to pull the knife out of Jordan, but it was in there pretty good. Jordan looked up at Kevin and said, “I knew you would betray us.” Jordan then pulled the knife out of his chest, blood began to spray out after the knife. Jordan took the butt of the knife and used it as a blunt weapon to knock Kevin out. Jordan wailed on Kevin’s face for what felt like an eternity. Kevin just laid there, his face bashed and bloody, Jordan’s wound felt like it was on fire as he brought his fist up one last time and punched Kevin in the temple. Kevin’s head flopped to the side, motionless as Jordan got back up.

Fluttershy was mortified by what she had seen as she said, “You…”

Jordan coughed up a pool of blood as he said, “You thought I was going to betray us huh? Well I know what I’m fighting for and I’m sticking with it.”

Fluttershy got under Jordan’s arm to help support him as she said, “How did you know I was here?”

Jordan let out a silent laugh from his bloddy face as he said, “It’s because I…” Jordan couldn’t finish his sentence, he fell to the ground unconscious. Fluttershy panicked, she tried her best to move Jordan, but couldn’t. Then she focused as best as she could on what Jordan just did for her and she grabbed under Jordan’s arms and picked him up. She managed to get him on her back but he was almost too heavy for her, it was only the adrenaline that was keeping her up. She then used all of her strength to take off back to the hotel. As she flew she cried and cried, she would never get over what she had just witnessed.

Cole was rudely awakened from his sleep when he heard the sound of a window shattering. Cole immediately jumped out of bed along with Dash. Together they ran to the source of the noise, Cole was ready to attack a monster or a robber, but instead found an exhausted pegasus with a nearly dead soldier on the ground. A trail of blood could be traced to the window, the man was still breathing, but barely. Cole rushed to Jordan’s side as he suddenly yelled, “Help! Somebody help!” The shouting not only woke up the other ponies, but shortly triggered the sound of alarms; the sound of an ambulance could be heard. Cole turned to face the window as a medic helicopter came into view and stopped at the side of the building. The medics made it into the room and got Jordan onto a stretcher, before long the medics were airlifting Jordan to the nearest hospital.

Fluttershy was panting when she said, “Jordan… Kevin… Discord…”

Cole rushed to her side along with the rest, Spike was hiding behind a shaking Twilight’s leg as Cole said, “What happened?”

Fluttershy wheezed before saying, “Kevin tried to… to kill… me.” Cole was shocked to hear Fluttershy say that. Cole didn’t think for long, he picked up Fluttershy and brought her into his bed where she slept for the rest of the night.

Cole stood outside in front of the broken window as Twilight approached and said, “I thought…”

Cole interrupted her saying, “I’m not too surprised to hear Kevin did that. He lived the worst life possible, he never knew his father, his mother died when she gave birth to him. All he had was his sister; it was just the two against the world as they moved from Germany.”

Twilight scratched her mane as she said, “Pardon me, Cole, but what does that have to do with Kevin’s decision?”

Cole looked at her and said, “His sister took care of him his entire life. He loved his sister more than anything in the world. She was his only company, a few years back; Kevin found out that his sister was sick.”

Twilight was getting more confused as Cole went on as she said, “What are you talking about, her being sick has nothing to do with Kevin killing Jordan.”

Cole kept calm as he said, “His sister is going to die, unless Kevin makes another eighty thousand dollars to pay for a very rare cure, she will have only a few more months to live. Kevin searched high and low for a job when I stumbled upon him going into a rage in a hospital. I figured out he had just lost his job and I decided to hire him. He seemed to have the drive necessary to do the job. And said that as soon as he gets enough mone, he’s quitting.”

Twilight then shouted at Cole in rage as she said, “Damn it Cole, what are you getting at?”

Cole then said with no expression, “He would do anything for a cure.” Twilight suddenly understood what he was getting at, her eyes widened with knowledge as Cole said, “He was probably promised a cure by someone or something as long as he tried to kill us. I’m thinking it has something to do with Discord wanting us dead.”

Twilight rubbed her hoof against her chin as she said, “Discord probably hypnotized him into believing that he was fighting the loosing side and joined Discord.”

Cole dawned a look of deep sorrow as he looked into the distance and said, “After seeing all of the powers that boy had earlier, I can only worry what Discord has given Kevin. Tell everyone to pack their stuff, were leaving first thing in the morning. Were getting Jordan and going to Equestria to continue our search for the Fountain of Luck.” Twilight nodded her head and returned to bed, Cole stayed there to watch the streets as he said to himself, “Kevin, I hope Discord does keep a promise. I know I would.”

Kevin opened his eyes; his head throbbed with pain as he slowly got to his feet. He looked around to notice it was still dark out, suddenly he could hear a voice in his head, “Kevin my boy, I could see it in your eyes you wanted to kill Jordan more than anything in the world. Unfortunately I only expected there to be Fluttershy, without Jordan you could have killed her ne problem. So now the other humans have made it quite clear that they hate you. You need to kill them now, but you will need a gift in order to rival Cole’s magic. I give you a piece of my heart, Kevin. The flames of hatred burn deep inside your heart as you turn into a cold blooded predator.” Suddenly Kevin could feel his entire body cramping up. Mostly his skin as he felt it harden, his eyes began to see many more colors, and was that heat he could see? Kevin also noticed that his new vision granted him the ability to see the pulses in animals that traveled through their nervous system. Kevin felt his tongue begin to take shape as he dropped to his knees in pain. He let out a screech of pain as the pain stopped. Kevin immediately got to his feet and ran for the gates. His armour had been torn off of his body as the cramping took place so he needed to use conventional ways of entering and exiting. Kevin ran up to the iron bars and pushed as hard as he could, at first the gates barely moved, but suddenly he could feel the gates bending more and more until he broke through. Kevin then ran off into the distance to plan for his next attack. The voice returned saying, “Go to a bar in Manehatan called The Apple Orchard, they’ll be there before you know it, looking to kill you and your sister.”

Jordan could faintly hear talking going on around him, “He’s awake, but I’m afraid he can’t leave the place yet.”

Then another voice said with a cocky tone to it, “Don’t worry, he’s a trooper.” Suddenly Jordan felt a fist collide with his face as the pain brought him back to reality. Jordan looked around to see Cole, Taylor, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Rarity, and Dash looking at him. Jordan figured out it was Cole who punched him as Cole said, “Morning sunshine! Time’s ticking and we have to go.” Cole grabbed Jordan by the arm and pulled him out of bed, Jordan simply flopped onto the ground. The doctor said that Jordan still didn’t have enough blood in him to keep him supported. Cole took him to the RV anyways and plopped him in the bathroom and said, “The doctor also said that you have no control over your bowels either so we don’t want to take any risks.” Cole then shut the door on Jordan. Cole did some unnecessary back flips to the driver’s seat to find out Taylor is driving.

Before Cole could say anything Taylor said, “Shut up, I know what you’re thinking, I can drive.”

Cole then said, “But you’re a…” Taylor pulled out a pistol to Cole’s head which made him stutter. All Cole could do was say, “A good driver so we shouldn’t argue.” Cole then dove behind the reclining chair where Pinkie was sitting.

Taylor then said to the group, “Off we go, to Equestria! What do I press?”

Slamming could be heard from the bathroom door as Jordan burst out of the door and came storming into the room saying, “God damn it you make me sit in that bathroom one more time and I will cripple you!” Cole nodded with agreement as Jordan sat in the driver’s seat and pressed a few buttons. Next thing they knew they were in Equestria, The bus was in the middle of a huge city that resembled New York, but with a surplus of ponies and happiness. Jordan was still angry for the way Cole was treating him and “rage parked” the bus next to a store. He then turned his head almost as though he was possessed and yelled, “Everyone off the bus!”

As the ponies were exiting, Dash said to Pinkie, “Jordan’s acting like he’s lost his mind.”

Fluttershy was about to agree with Dash, when Twilight stepped into the conversation and said, “Remember my breakdown, he’s got nothing on me.” Both Fluttershy and Dash had to agree with that, she did go ape shit over that whole “no letter to princess Celestia” conundrum.

Cole looked around and said, “This isn’t where we left the last time we were in Equestria.”

Jordan then said as he struggled to get off the RV, “That’s because we have another problem. Something huge this time.”

Let’s time travel back a few hours, the Great and Powerful Trixie was at a bar, doing her low budget performances. She had really begun to hit hard times after she humiliated herself in front of Ponyville. Now all she does is perform for very few birthday parties and perform low budget magic tricks for the occasional drunk stallion that was down on hard times as well. One night, as Trixie was exiting the stage after being booed once again, she began to cry when she looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn’t stand the sight of herself, she was a failure. She sat down next to her boxes of props and cried. Nopony came to comfort her because of her reputation. Suddenly out of nowhere, a voice rang through her ear saying, “Down on hard times as well hmm?”

Trixie stood tall as she said, “The Great and Powerful Trixie is never on hard times.”

“So you would consider eight ponies to be a good show day. If I were you, I would start calling that ‘every day’ because lets face it, your magic is getting old now.”

“How dare you insult the show stopping magic of Trixie.”

“How dare you be so ignorant!” The voice hissed with rage as it said to her, “Your magic isn’t doing anything for you. Ever since that Twilight Sparkle defeated an Ursa Minor, you have almost resorted to working as what a human would call a ‘whore’.”

“I am a pony, not a horse!” Trixie scoffed, she could barely take these sort of insults, but they were true.

“Whatever, I came to you knowing how you feel, being humiliated in front of millions for a huge failure. I’m here to give you your life back, and since you remind me of me, I will give you greater power. But before you can truly become the most powerful equine ever, you must do one thing for me.” Trixie immediately perked up at the opportunity to reclaim her fame, she truly would do anything.

Trixie then said, “What must I do?”

“See there’s this unwanted visitor in Manehattan that’s claiming to be the most magical creature ever, and since we know that title goes to you, I want you to show him who’s boss. Use your new gift and show them all what it means to hold the title, ‘The Great and Powerful’ now go. He’s on the corner of Sunlight Avenue and Trottston. He’s in a bar called The Apple Orchard.”

Trixie broke into an evil smile, the thoughts of showing everypony in the world, how powerful she truly was, was incredible. Trixit turned her head to look for the source of the voice as she said, “Might I ask, who are you?”

Trixie turned her head to see a horrifying monster; it had the head of a pony, the antler of a goat, and the horn of a dragon. Its skin was decaying and was extremely pal as it said, “I’m Discord.” Suddenly, Discords eye’s flashed a bright light and the face was gone. Trixie was left there, a feeling of chaotic rage burned deep inside her. She wanted to get rid of this other magical creature the most violent way possible. Trixie turned her horn to the wall and shouted out as loud as she could, the wall exploded outwards like a bomb onto the streets. Trixie trotted into the middle of the road pushing everypony out of the way n a violent manner.

Inside the Apple Orchard was what looked like a cross between a dragon and an ape. It stood perfectly on its hind legs and could bend its arms in ways a dragon could never. It had dark green scales for skin and looked like it had coal black scales fashioned in a way to resemble hair. It was wearing a suit that was not of this universe, it was rumoured to be what humans wore. It would be there, breathing fire into the air lighting the alcohol it threw into the air. It created fireballs and tested the hardness of its scales by having ponies hit it as hard as they could with anything to watch the objects break. It said to the ponies, “Turns out, I was fighting for the wrong side, I want to do whatever I can to make my sister better, so I joined the most promising side. Now all I have o do is take a few criminal ponies to justice. And take out a few others for personal reasons.”

One of the mares beside him was about to say something when suddenly, a large smashing noise could be heard near the exit. The doors were busted down to reveal that failure, Trixie, trying to do another spell that would lull the crowd to sleep. Trixie stormed into the bar, pushing security out of the way and approaching the fire breathing lizard and yelled, “So you think you’re more powerful than me? We’ll see about that.”

Te monster turned to the bright blue unicorn and said, “Go back to your low budget shows, these girls filled me all in on your show stopping abilities.”

Trixie’s face was red with rage as she said, “How about you run back to your freak family.” Trixie was most pleased with her insult towards the beast, but let me tell you, she fucked up.

The hybrid stopped in the middle of a gulp of water as he said, “Let me tell you about my family of freaks,” the monster threw his stool at the wall, making it break causing the commotion in the room to die immediately, “my father is dead, so is my mother, my sister is all I had, now that she’s dying I’m going to lose my last bit of family. You want a magic trick, you’ll get one.” The monster then took a glass bottle of soda and shattered it across her head. Everypony in the room gasped at the sight of such violence as the beast said, “Calling me a freak, freaks are people who bite off more than they can chew. You made me waste a good line for nothing.” The beast returned to facing the bar when all of the glass bottles flew at the beast, causing him to be thrown off of his feet towards the wall.

Trixie got off of the floor and said as her eyes began to glow a sinister yellow, “Bite this.” The beast simply grinned a sharp toothed smile at his first fight with his new abilities.
