The Krawl; a race of interplanetary beings literally made of pure darkness. Their one goal? Eat the universe with their unsatisfiable hunger. Ordinary weapons cannot stop them, let alone hurt them. They are a plague upon the universe. People could do nothing but wait for their inevitable demise. Then, Spectrobe Masters arose, commanding legendary beings of light known as Spectrobes against the Krawl. But none were more powerful than the two legendary heroes, a young man and young woman, who absolutely annihilated the Krawl threat, and put the universe at ease. That is, until 100 years later...

In a galaxy there exists Equestria, a lonely but bountiful world filled with fauna, flora and magic. Sentience lies in small equine creatures known as ponies, and peace reigned thoroughly. During a mining operation a mysteriously glowing wolf-like statue is found in the rocks and taken to a museum to be looked at by a lavender mare named Twilight. Around the same time, a large metal object from the stars crashes down, carrying two aliens from an entirely different world! They explain to Twilight and her friends that the fossil is an ancient Spectrobe, and that glowing could only mean one thing:

This story came to fruition because I really like this series, and there needs to be more of these kinds of stories. Also, you see those monsters on the cover? Those are the main Spectrobes of the story.
