One week has gone since I appeared in this new world with talking ponies, that still sounds strange. Sombra kept what he promised the guards have not tried to arrest me, yet. I found out who hit me in the head his name is captain Shield and when I find him he will find out how dangerous I can be.

When it comes to finding a way home, Sombra has been trying. He has gone through almost the entire library without finding a way to send me home but without much luck, he said he would continue to try.

There was one thing I missed and that was my cigarettes, I must admit that week was a living hell. I’ve had a couple incident where my temper took control, thank that Shyla was there to calm me down. Let’s get back to the story, it starts in a forest near the empire.

Why must it be so damn cold? I have myself to thank for this ever since I told Shyla I eat meat, she has looked at me differently but I need meat to survive. So here am I out in the cold and hunting with bow and arrow which I’ve borrowed from the castle, right now I’m hunting rabbits. I’ve already killed two.

I bent down to inspected the tracks I have been following the past ten minutes I’ve already killed two, they were heading father into the woods but I was not the one they were running from. Next to the rabbit’s tracks were wolfs tracks and blood, another wolf is hunting the same rabbits as I’m hunting? Irony, I hate you.

I followed the tracks for about five minutes before I came to an opening in the forest and there lay the wolf, he was lying on his left side and someone had shot him with an arrow. The wolf vas pure white so it was a bit difficult to see it, thank god for the arrow and the blood. I walked closer to see if the wolf was alive, the chest is moving so it’s alive and that’s good. Now I could just leave it her and let it die but I trying to be a better person so that’s not going to happen.

The arrow was in his right hind leg I bent down to try to remove the arrow but when I got to close to it the wolf tried to take a chunk of my arm so it’s awake, that can be problem.

“I’m trying to help you.” The wolf did look convinced. “I don’t know if you understand me or not but I not going to hurt you, I just want to help you with the arrow.” I tried to remove the arrow again while I followed if the wolf tried to bite me again, lucky for me did not try to bit my arm this time.

“This is going to hurt.” I told the wolf, I yanked the arrow out of the as fast as I could and wolf cried out in pain the wolf fainted. Blood started to flow out of the wound, I had to move fast so I took out the first aid kit I had with me luckily for me he has passed out.

I did not take long to groom his wound and rap it in bandage after I was done I sat down beside the wolf, I looked over it and he was still breathing I guess the pain was too much for him. What now? I looked around and there were some twigs lying around me, I may as well make a bonfire and roast my catch. I started collecting twigs until I had enough, I took them back there the wolf was lying and began to make a bonfire. Luckily for me fire was easy for me thanks to my lighter.

I skinned the two rabbit’s and started to roast the both, I began to drool by the smell I guess I was hungrier than thought. I was not the only one that was hungry the wolf woke up to the smell, I looked over to him and I could see that he was staring at my food so I threw one of the rabbit’s to him, the rabbit landed in front of the wolf and he started to eat the rabbit.

“You better enjoy that.” I told the wolf.

I’m pretty sure that he was so busy eating that he did not hear what I said, I stared to eat my rabbit and let me tell it was good. After I was finished with my dinner I guess you can call it that, I put out the fire with snow and was ready to head back to the empire then I heard whimpering. I looked over to the wolf and he just lay the with his tongue out and he was wagging his tail.

“What? What do you want?”

He stood up, I was about to stop him but then he walked over to me. You can sure that I was surprised that he healed so fast, I don’t know how so I blame magic, fucking magic. He stared to lick my hand, I did not know how to react to this so I just petted his head. I’ve lived on the wrong side of the law most of my life so I never had a pet, I’m not sure if I want one certainly a wolf. That’s sounded so weird.

As I stared to walked back to empire I noticed something behind me as I looked back it was the wolf, he sat on his hind legs wagging his tail. Is he following me? To be on the safe side I walked a couple of minutes to see if he was still following me, I think I walk about five minutes before I looked back again and he was still there.

“Why are you following me?”

The only answer I got was a bark, I mentally slap myself in the face by the question I asked the wolf. I can’t understand what he saying which is a pity for that would be cool.

“I don’t know if you understand me or not but you can’t come with me back to the Crystal Empire with me, I’m in enough trouble as it is so I don’t need you to make even worst.”

The wolf just cooled his head to the side, something telling me that he did not understand me but I took my chances and started to walk. I looked over my shoulder too if he was following me and he was. As soon I turned around he sat down on his ass his tail started to waggle and his tongue was hanging out of his mouth, he looked happy.

“Why are you following me?” Yes, I know I just asked that question but it is a good question why are the wolf following me. It must be because I help him and gave food and he must think I’m his leader or something, to be perfectly honest I don’t know how this work but the last thing I need is a wolf walking beside me.

“Stay.” Not very original I know but that was the best I could come up with, let’s just hope it’s work. I stared to walk again, I looked over my shoulder and thank god the wolf did not follow me.

When I finally arrived back at the Empire I got a warmed greeting then the first time that’s for sure, the first time I arrived I was met with fear but now they are smiling at me and waving at me. I guess they know that I’m not dangerous.

I open the door to Shyla house, Shyla was in the kitchen doing the dishes while Red was in the living room lying on the floor drawing., both of them noticed that I arrived. Shyla looked over her shoulder as I entered the kitchen.

“So, how did your ‘hunting’ go?”

I could her the extra weight on the word hunting I could also hear the sarcasm in her voice, I just rolled my eye.

“I don’t think you want to know.”

“You are right I don’t.”

She went back to doing the dishes, ever since I told her that I eat meat she has looked at me differently as she waiting me to eat them, after one week I thought that she would at least trust me but I was wrong. I have considered moving out as soon as I’ve got me a job if I can find one, it’s not easy to find one when the only thing your good at is killing.

“Hey mister Wolf, looked what I drew.” Red held up a drawing.

I could not help but rolled my eye. “Kid, how many time must I say it. Stop calling me mister.”

“Sorry.” He hung his head and ears folded.

I rude his hear. “Don’t worry about just remember to next time.” I too his drawing and looked at it, he had actually draw me, Shyla and himself holding hands.

The last week I have spending more time with Red, played with him as much as I can and let me tell you this kid as more energy than he needs that’s for sure. Then all of sudden we heard screaming outside, Shyla came running out the kitchen.

“There’s a wolf outside of my house.”

Did she say wolf, oh no. I got up and walk out the front door and just outside the house stood the wolf I had help in the forest and ponies was running from him, I could swear that I told the wolf not to follow me.

“Cool, a wolf.”

Red was about to go and pet it but Shyla stop him, then she looked at me and let me tell you she was not happy.

“Let me guess you brought this wolf with you.”

“What? Of course not. Look, I meet this wolf while I was out hunting and he was hurt so I help him, then he stared to follow me but I told him to not to follow me.” She was not convinced.

“I don’t care what you did or what happened I don’t want this wolf inside my house with my son, I already have one to worried about I don’t need two.”

“What’s that supposed to mean? That you already have a carnivorous living with you and you don’t need one more?”

Her eyes widen. “I did not mean it like that, what I meant….”

I held up a hand to silence her. “I don’t want to hear it.” I walked over to the wolf. “If is so hard for you that lived I am living with you and your son then fine.” I looked at the wolf. “Come on.” I guess this time he listened to me because he followed me.

It did not take me long before I arrived the castle and let me tell you I cast a lot of commotion on my there, hey you try walking with a wolf beside you through a mark with a bunch of ponies and see what happened.

When finally arrived at the main door the guard pointe their weapon at me, I guess the wolf makes them nervous.

“Take it easy boys, he’s with me.”

“How do we know that the wolf wont attack us?” Asked one of them.

“I think that he thinks that I’m his leader or something, so as long you don’t attack me your god. By the way, do any of know what kind of wolf this is?”

“I think is a snow wolf sir.”

Snow wolf, fitting name. “Is king Sombra available?”

“I’m afraid that he is a meeting with princess Celestia.”

I just groaned when I heard that. “Again? She was her three days ago, I’ll just wait like last time.”

They open the doors for me and the snow wolf so we could enter, once inside the castle I took a seat on one of the chair in the hall beside Sombra’s room and waited, the snow wolf sat down beside me. I don’t know how long I waited but I actually fell asleep, I was brutally awaken by a big bang I looked to my left and out of the room came Celestia.

“You’re making a big mistake Sombra, no one and I mean no one say no to me.”

She walked right past me and the snow wolf growled at her, I should give him a name. Then Sombra walked out of his room. “What a bitch.” Then he notices me. “Oh Wolf, I did not expect you today.”

“If this a bad time I can come back later.”

He waved his hand. “It’s no problem I need that distraction.” He then noticed the wolf. “Is that a snow wolf?”

“Apparently, someone had shot him with an arrow I help him and now he’s following me. Anyway, can we talk in your room?”

“Yeah sure.”

We walk into his room and sat down on a couple of chairs.

“What can I do for you Wolf?”

“I need your help to find a house.”
