Jason was a ordinary person, as ordinary as anyone else in the line up, and that dug into his mind. He wanted to serve his country and be different from the mold. Thankfully there's a anwser, kinda, Genetic Engineering and Modification nanites are too expensive unless you sign a contract for testing the military's out.

5 years into his deployment Jason is arguably not human, he has hooves instead of feet, a 12 foot wingspan, sky blue on the bottom and whatever colour he wants on the top (tan most days) due to his camo coat gene that allows him to blend into the sky, swiveling ears on the top of his head (He opted out of having a set of human ears too because he was already freaky looking enough, also flashbangs, nuff said.) A full set of human teeth and a few germs in his stomach allow him to eat hay, grass or flowers.

Many people dislike the use of the GEMs, worldwide protests over the militarys using such technology, even the soldiers who look like normal humans are hated for their choice to enhance their body with things like thicker skin, camo coat (No decent names for it other then that) and regenerative extremities. (Think lizards and their tails.)

The GEM nanites requires data input for certain mods, so all soldiers that are "GenEngModOrg" or GEMO's are equipped with a computer built into their left wrist that is able to order the nanobots that are attached to their DNA genome, these soldiers are able to update themselves with other animals traits as well, (provided they get a blood sample) a SEAL with a cats night vision is one such example.

Now, the only question left is, will Jason change to match the ponies, or will the ponies accept him for who and what he is?

This probably going to be incomplete for as long as it's in my possession. My second attempt at a story, left with a few blank spots on propose, grammar nazis are welcome.

This story will stop around 5 or so chapters, if you want to continue on with it, send me a PM and I'll let you take over, my only request is to make all sex scenes optional. I.E. no telling important story secrets in bed, and a heads up before any such scene
