Thomas was biffing cars in the yard with Lady. Both of them were giggling when they accidentally biffed each other. The cars gagged and made noise with their mouths. Thomas rolled his eyes as they did. "Thomas, I really enjoy being with you." Lady smiled. Thomas smiled as well.

  "I enjoy being with you too, Lady."  Thomas said to his girlfriend before kissing her. Lady kissed back, lightly blushing. Thomas laughed. "You're cute when you blush." He said. Lady's blush turned to a deeper red. Then, her buffers started glowing. Thomas was curious. "Buffers again?" He asked. Lady nodded. "Come on." Thomas said. They chuffed through Lady's buffers, and noticed a line leading to a pair of buffers glowing.

  "That's new." Lady said as she chuffed closer. "These buffers have never glowed before....whoa!" Lady exclaimed as the buffers pulled her through.

  "Lady!" Thomas yelped as he charged in after her. Everything was dark, then, Thomas opened what he thought was his eyes. He glanced around his surroundings, and saw a pink pony with wings and a horn kneeling in front of him. He noticed the pony's eyes, which were a bright magenta. "Lady?" He asked the pony. Lady cried and hugged Thomas. Then, Lady looked at herself.

  "Oh.....my.....stars." She gasped at her new body. A gold star was right on her rear, which Lady assumed was a tattoo. She glanced up at what was now her mane. "Blonde, just like when I'm human." She guessed. Then, she gasped at Thomas. Thomas was a blue pony with brown eyes, a black mane and tail, and a number one on his rear. "Thomas, I don't know how, but we're ponies." Lady told him. Thomas was wide eyed.

  "Well, that's going to take some getting used to." Thomas said as he looked at his reflection in a pond nearby. He looked at his mane and saw he had a small bit of hair coming down to his face. "I have bangs." He said. "Huh, OK, liking the tail, voice is the same." Thomas checked all of him to make sure he was still him. "Might I say you look beautiful as a pony, Lady." He smiled. Lady blushed and kissed Thomas's cheek.

  "Still always know how to make me blush." Lady smiled, blushing a bit more. Then, a high pitched bubbly voice came from above them.

  "WOO! Two more ponies!" It yelled, belonging to a pink pony with a frizzy pink mane and tail, three balloons on her rear, and sapphire blue eyes. "Hi!" She smiled. "My name's Pinkie Pie! What are your names?" Pinkie asked.

  "Well, Ms. Pie, I'm Lady, and this is my boyfriend, Thomas." Lady said. Thomas waved with what he noticed was a hoof. Lady yelped as Pinkie Pie stared at her gold star. "Oh we were wondering what those were." Lady told her.

   "Pffffft! DUH! Those are you cutie marks!" Pinkie laughed. Thomas was confused.

   "Cutie mark?" He asked. "What the hay is that?"

   "Well, a cutie mark is like, I don't know, you're special talent or something, you'd have to either ask Dr. Hooves or Twilight about that." Pinkie explained.

   "Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a second." Thomas said. "You mean to tell me there's a pony here named Twilight?" He asked. Pinkie Pie nodded.

  "Yep! Twilight Sparkle, Celestia's star student and Princess of Friendship!" She smiled before gasping. "I HAVE SOOOOO GOT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO HER!" Pinkie yelled before darting off with Thomas and Lady.

  "Well, here goes another grand adventure." Thomas laughed. Lady did too. On Sodor, Diesel 10 was fuming.

  "They went through a WHAT!!" He fumed, his claw chomping. 'Arry and Bert gulped.

  "A magic portal to another land!" Bert said.

  "Yeah! Filled with colorful talking ponies!" 'Arry added. Diesel 10 pondered.

  "A world filled with ponies, eh?" He asked. The twin diesels nodded. "Hmm. I'll have to look into this, then, Puffball and his girlfriend will be history!" Diesel 10 cackled as he chomped his claw again.

  "Flash! Where the heck did I put History of Equestria?!" Twilight called from the library.

  "How should I know, you misplaced it!" Flash called back from the kitchen. He was making dinner for him and Twilight tonight. The two had been boyfriend and girlfriend for 5 months now, and they were pretty much happy. "Oh, wait, found it!" Flash called up. Twilight came zooming down the stairs like a bullet and snatched it out of Flash's hooves. "Well somepony seems eager to read it." He smiled and nuzzled his girlfriend's nose. Twilight nuzzled Flash back. Then, they heard the doorbell of the castle. "Now who could that be?" Flash asked. Twilight went to go open the door.

  "HI TWILIGHT!" Pinkie Pie smiled, startling Twilight.

  "Pinkie Pie, you scared me!" Twilight said as she breathed heavily.

  "Sorry, sorry, I just wanted you to meet two ponies I found!" Pinkie Pie smiled as Thomas and Lady appeared from behind her. Twilight dropped her book in awe.

  "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" Twilight squealed as she went to examine them. Thomas yelped as Twilight touched his cutie mark. "A number for a cutie mark, that's new." Twilight said. "It's a number one. What does that mean? Spike!" Twilight called. A little purple dragon raced down the stairs. Thomas was shocked.

"Yes Twilight?" Spike asked.

"I need my book of cutie marks." Twilight said. Spike nodded and raced upstairs to get it.

"Which one was it again!" Spike called from upstairs.

"The one with the big cutie mark on the cover!" Twilight called up.

  "Found it!" Spike said as he raced back downstairs. He handed Twilight the book and she flipped through it's pages.

  "Let me see, number one, number one, odd, there are no number cutie marks in here." Twilight was puzzled.

  "That would probably be because we're not from here." Thomas told her. Twilight jumped in fright.

  "How, how, what!" She asked. Thomas laughed.

  "What? Never seen a talking horse before?" He asked. "Well, considering you guys are talking, colorful horses, I guess you have then." He said. Lady laughed.

  "Excuse my Tommy here, he's just very cheeky sometimes." Lady giggled. "Anyways, allow me to introduce us. I'm Lady, and this is my boyfriend, Thomas." Lady said.

  "Well, I'm Twilight, the Princess of Friendship here in Ponyville, and this is my boyfriend, Flash." Twilight said. Flash smiled and shook Thomas's right foreleg. "How did you guys get here anyways?" Twilight asked Lady.

  "Long story." Lady started, as she began to tell them their story.

  "Whoa, that is long." Flash said about half an hour later. The four of them were sitting and eating dinner. Lady nodded.

  "So basically you're a magic guardian from an island called Sodor?" Twilight asked.

  "Yes, see, there, me and Thomas are steam engines, along with the rest of our friends." Lady explained.

  "However, there, a diesel named Diesel 10, which you don't want to meet by the way," Thomas added, "is bent on destroying Lady and conquering the island. "I'm pretty much the only one who can protect Lady." Thomas explained.

  "So, you're like her personal bodyguard." Flash guessed.

  "That's one way of looking at it, I suppose." Thomas said. "I'm guessing you're Twilight's personal guard too." Thomas guessed. Flash nodded.

  "Well, look at that." Lady smiled. "The boys are comparing their jobs." She giggled. Twilight did too.

  "So Lady, I noticed that you're an alicorn." Twilight said. Lady looked at her horn and wings. "However, I don't know how an engine from your world can become an alicorn, even with you being magic." Twilight told her.

  "Well, I guess it is a little odd being a pony as well, but I'm sure I'll get used to it." Lady said. Twilight laughed.

  "Believe me, being a pony is nothing. Try being human for a few weeks." Twilight said.

  "Actually I have been human before. So has Tommy." Lady said. Twilight's jaw dropped. Thomas nodded.

  "Yeah, me and Lady got stuck as human for a while, once we got back to being engines, well, we were glad that ordeal was over." Thomas said. Meanwhile, in the Everfree forest, a blue portal appeared, spitting out a dark brown stallion with a spiked black mane and tail, blood red eyes, his muzzle was darker then the rest of him, and his cutie mark was marked D10. The stallion laughed, as two more followed behind him. These two were a hazardous yellow, brown eyes, brown mane and tails, one of them had a black goatee, and their cutie marks said Iron A and Iron B.

  "We made it!" Diesel 10 cackled. 'Arry and Bert looked at each other's new forms in awe.

  "Dude, you're a horse!" Bert said to his twin.

  "So are you!" 'Arry said. Diesel 10 cleared his throat.

"Enough, we came here to find Puffball and Lady, not mess around!" Diesel snapped. "Now, time to show this world just what I am capable of!" Diesel cackled to the air.

  

  Thomas headed out towards town for a little afternoon walk. He was humming his branchline theme as he did. "Where have I heard this theme before?" He asked himself as he continued humming. Meanwhile, in a nearby bush, Diesel 10 laughed quietly.

  "I've got you now, Puffball." He said to himself. Thomas's ears pricked up.

  "What? Who's there!" Thomas asked as he looked around. "I could've sworn I....." Thomas said as he was tackled by a dark brown stallion. Thomas groaned. "Uh, what was that?" Thomas's eyes widened as he saw the cutie mark on the stallion towering over him. "Ah! Diesel!" He gasped. Diesel 10 laughed.

  "Hello, Puffball, miss me!" Diesel asked his nemesis. Thomas kicked up, pushing Diesel off of him. Thomas landed back on his legs and looked at his arch-rival.

  "What are you doing here, Diesel?" Thomas asked his nemesis. Diesel 10 chuckled.

  "Easy, Puffball, I found that little portal you and the lost engine took. I went through with 'Arry and Bert, and soon enough, we ended up here. Now I get to crush you!" Diesel cackled. Thomas growled.

  "You will not lay one hoof on Lady." Thomas blinked as to what he just said. "Hoof? Huh, must be getting used to the pony terms here." He said as he got back in to position. Thomas saw that Diesel was Twilight called a pegasus. Diesel had the advantage of flight. Diesel snarled at Thomas.

  "Shall we do what we do best, Puffball?" He asked. Thomas didn't want to fight Diesel, but he knew he had to.

  "Alright, bring it on!" Thomas said as he charged. Diesel flew upward, coming back down fast. Thomas rolled out of the way, trying to kick Diesel with his back legs.

  "Valiant try, Thomas, but I have something you don't!" Diesel said. Thomas looked at something on top of his head, then realized that Diesel had a horn. Thomas gasped as a flash of green came hurdling towards him. Thomas jumped out of the way before it hit him. Diesel growled. 'Arry and Bert came from behind and grabbed Thomas.

  "Not you two!" Thomas said to them. Bert laughed.

  "Miss us, pipsqueak!" Bert asked him. 'Arry snickered. Just as Diesel approached, a rock hit him.

  "Ow! Who threw that!" Diesel growled as he looked around. Then, another rock hit him on the hoof. "Ow! Who keeps doing that!" Diesel growled.

  "Who do you think!" A small, bubbly voice asked from behind him. Diesel turned around to see not one, not two, but three more ponies. One was a bright red pegasus with a black man and tail, blue eyes, and a number 5 for his cutie mark. The second was a small green earth pony with a brown mane and tail with brown eyes and an envelope for his cutie mark. The last was a brown earth pony with a tan stetson, a black mane and tail, blue eyes, and a number 7 for his cutie mark. Thomas was shocked, then whooped in happiness.

  "James! Percy! Toby!" Thomas laughed. "How do you like that Diesel!" He asked his nemesis, who was growling.

  "Let go of our friend, Diesel!" James told Diesel 10. James dashed towards him, wings spread, and tackled Diesel.

  "Grrrrrrr!" Diesel growled. "Next time, Puffball! 'Arry! Bert! We're leaving!" Diesel said as he flew off in anger. 'Arry and Bert followed. Thomas panted and ran over to his friends and hugged them.

  "Man it's so good to see you guys!" Thomas smiled. Lady, Twilight, and Flash had just arrived.

  "Tommy!" Lady said as she hugged Thomas. "Are you OK? We heard fighting." She sounded worried. Thomas nodded.

  "Diesel 10's here." He said. Lady's eyes narrowed in fear. "However, if it weren't for a few ponies, I wouldn't be OK." Thomas smiled as James, Percy, and Toby appeared from behind him. Lady screamed in delight as she hugged them.

  "Oh it's so good to see you guys!" Lady smiled. Percy smiled as well. Rarity arrived as well, with Applejack.

  "What in tarnation is going on!" Applejack said before her eyes went wide at Toby. She looked away, slightly blushing. Twilight giggled. Rarity was awestruck when she saw James. James met her gaze.

  "Uh oh." Twilight gulped. Rarity walked up slowly. James did as well.

  "Hello." James smiled. Rarity blushed, heart racing.

  "Oh darling, your mane, what style!" Rarity laughed as she examined it.

  "Rarity has a crush on somepony." Twilight giggled.
