"Let me get this straight, all they had to do was to let you kill just one person and you would had done what was needed to be done?" Celestia asked the man standing before her.
"Yes, but instead that person was deemed more important than me who is the only one who could had prevented what's happening right now," the man said as the world around them is slowly dying as magic that in this universe was the only thing keeping this world alive.
Both of them are at the site where the man needed to do a ritual to prevent the world's magic from fading and the world dying as well. Around them is a crowd of people and the leaders of the world, with cameras showing the event all over the world. Where the man who was the only one who could, broke the cup that was needed to do the ritual, because the leaders of their world refused to let the man kill the one who wronged him. So he broke the cup cutting them all off of magic dooming them all, followed by a woman who could still use magic teleporting in front of the man. Asking what had happen as she had just arrived to their world and the man explained what happen.
"Is this person more important than you at this moment? Where they could do what you were needed to do or better?" Celestia asked.
"No, they're not. They killed everyone, I cared about and instead of having all of the people that did the deed. I had settle just having the one who have the orders. Bringing them before me so, I can kill them while the world watch. But they just think that the person is more important," the man said.
"Fools, nothing but fools, best leave them to be torn apart by the angry mobs who know it's their fault for the world ending just because they refused you when you were the only one who could have save them," Celestia said opening a portal pulling the man with her.
The portal closed leaving behind a dying world, with the people rushing the world leaders tearing away at them. As for the one who tormented the man, a mob storm the building where they were in, where their own men are turning on them. The world would die but not before the mob of angry people tore apart everything that caused the man who could had saved them to walk away, leaving them all to die just to save one person. Who in the end doesn't matter at all. (1)
