In the sewers of New York city are the The Morlocks, a group of deformed or outcast mutants who live in the sewers. Usually reclusive and rather unlikely to cause trouble if unprovoked, their powers are often not combat-oriented or just plain weird. They were anyways as the sewers are now the home of the few humans who survived the Reapers.

"Hey, I found something," a council member of the group Friends Of Humanity who managed to survived.

He and what survivors are left have been hiding underground after the reapers destroyed the army. There aren't any real fighting force left to stop the husks anymore. The reapers are stripping the planet of resources and the humans on it. The Sentinels were useless against the reapers as the reapers simply reprogrammed them, after they captured Master Mold and used it to download the new program. Now the sentinels hunt down the humans.

"What you found?" a man asked following the other man into a room that was hidden behind some wooden boards.

"Looks like a recorder of some kind," the council member said finding a table with a recorder on it, he switches it on.

The image of Sunset Shimmer appeared on the screen, a mutant who worked to bring mutants together. She had created a floating space station over Earth and called for all mutants and those with them to come, to escape a incoming alien army. But everyone knew that it was to do something once all the mutants were off of Earth. Almost all the mutants left but for some old ones who stayed. Many of the superheroes also left as well, like that Spider-Man freak. The space station disappeared into a portal, just as the reapers invaded. They didn't stand a chance against the reapers who slaughtered the armies of the world, took little more than a week before there wasn't any real army left to fight.

"This is the final call. There's a invading alien army on the way to conquer Earth. There is nothing we can do to stop them. So, I'm calling for all mutants to come to the final shuttles to Asteroid M. We will escape from the reapers. If you have any humans who are family members or love ones who are close to you, you can bring them. For the others there's no point they refused to listen to my warnings. No matter how many times they are saved by us they will always hate and fear us, so why should we stay and fight for people who will refuse to change. I repeat this is the final call," the recording said before stopping. (1)

"Too late now," said the man who entered the room with the council member.

"Those freaks left, when they should be here fighting to save us. No they should be here and we pure humans so be the ones escaping," the council member growled.

"THEY'RE HERE!" a woman screamed as a horde of husks came charging into the sewers.

"Well that Earth is fuck," Kasumi said.

"Why are the reapers harvesting Earth?" Naruto asked.

"According to the data, the reapers are actually doing all that to collect life energy from all the living beings they turn into husks. From there they bring the stored energy to Galactus, so that their creators world won't be eaten," Twilight said.

"Like those drones from the Ultimate universe?" Captain Planet asked.

"Yes," Twilight answers.

"Well we can't do anything to stop the reapers, even if we wanted to. Galactus is the spark for the new universe and he's the living seal to keep something worse from escaping," Trixie said.

1 - Seeing how no matter what the X-Men will always be hated and feared, because of the real life reason that they only work as long as that plot is happening. There's no point in saving the humans when they will never change because that's how the comic world works.
