On Asteroid M, Sunset sat in a circle as she focus her magic on the horse statue that brought her to this world. Where an off shoot from the main dominate race on the planet Earth, humans called mutants. Mutants have special powers and the humans hate and fear them for it. (1)

"Is that it?" Sunset asked watching as the final shuttle to the asteroid docks.

"Yes," Xavier said having scanned the planet for any remaining mutant and the only ones left are the ones who are staying. "Everyone that is going is here."

"Good," Sunset said as she turns to Apocalypse and the mutants who had the powers to help her. "Alright people we're doing this."

"We will not be transformed into ponies?" Magneto asked.

"No, we won't as we're not going through the statue portal. Besides I have gotten to like having hands," Sunset said. "Wanda with me."

"Yes," Wanda said using her magic with Sunset's and the powers of all the different mutants which allows them to open a portal in front of the space base.

"They're coming," Xavier said as he felt the Reapers alien minds entering the solar system.

"Let's go before the humans try to stop us so they can save themselves by dooming all of us," Sunset said.

"Yes," Magneto said using his powers to move Asteroid M into the portal with the help of other mutants who could aid him.

On Earth the humans watched as the mutants and those who sided with them disappeared from the sky. Only to be replaced by a horde of squid like that filled the sky. The squids landed in cities, destroying and harvesting the human race. (2)

Equestria -

Asteroid M appeared over the planet of Asteroid M, which unlike Earth is the center of it's solar system and the small sun spins around it not the other way around.

"We can land on the badlands and setup our new home," Sunset said as she turns to the others. "But there's no need to rush as we can decide later."

"And what of your mother?" Xavier asked.

"She made it clear that she's not my mother," Sunset said with a growl.

"From our last meeting, you have already surpassed her in leadership. You got all of us to work together," Apocalypse said.

"Of course, I can't be a ruler if I can't get a bunch of people who have their own interest to all come together to work with each other," Sunset said.

She had became the leader of all mutants as she's the one who brought them all together and work with each other to escape the doom that the Reapers would bring to all of them. She had warned the humans of the danger but they had all ignored her warnings. As she was to them nothing but a mutant not to ever be trusted. Now all of the humans on Earth are being slaughtered and harvested by the Reapers. While she leads the mutant race to a new home, as their queen.
