On temporary hiatus while I work on other projects.
Equestria is not what it was meant to be. It is cruel, cold, angry and divided, which is fine by Celestia. She made it that way, after all. Now she has chosen Fine Crime to be her dark right hoof: the Mane Archon, whose name makes little ponies tremble for fear of being secreted away in the dark of the night.
But Fine has ambitions that go far beyond that of his predecessors. He has power now, power that comes with being the assigned leader of Equestria's secret police. He won't let it go to waste. Though limits have been imposed and the task is great, Fine will set the wheels in motion for the end of Celestia's dark reign.
But to do that, he's going to need some help.
Book I: Fine Crime
Fine Crime has been chosen to lead Celestia's secret order, the Archons. But before he can have the full job, she's going to test him. These tests will challenge his morality, his perseverance and his compassion. It will be the most brutal time of his life. If he succeeds, he will become the second most powerful pony in the world. But Celestia wants more than loyalty from Fine: she wants his hate, and she'll push every button he has to get it.
Book II: Vinyl Scratch
Vinyl knows Equestria's foster system. She's lived it her whole life, and the experience has toughened her up. But now she finds herself sharing a room with Amethyst Star, a filly who has been through far worse than Vinyl can imagine. As their bond grows, so to does Vinyl's sense of responsibility, and that tough exterior begins showing cracks. What she doesn't know is that Amethyst is being watched by some dangerous ponies. To protect her, she'll have to make some tough decisions... and maybe a few sacrifices.
Book III: Gulfstream
Recently orphaned Gulfstream Dust just had his hopes come true: his cousin Lightning has taken him in. But not all is well with the little pegasus with a talent for flying. Gulfstream feels a certain anger within him, a fire that refuses to go out and which threatens to burn anypony who comes near. With Lightning's help, perhaps he can tame the rage that constantly stirs within him. If she can't, Gulfstream fears what he may become...
Book IV: Fleur de Lis
Fleur Purpurnyj only wants to be a good filly. Good fillies don't speak unless spoken to, don't argue, don't look their father in the eye, does what they're told, never complains. She must be a good filly, to make up for what she did. But then, a Shadow Pony arrives in her life, and Fleur finds herself before a door leading to a whole world of new possibilities and freedoms. Fleur has the chance to do something she never thought possible: live.
Book V: Cruelles Caballeron
Archeologist and college professor Cruelles Caballeron and his best friend Silty have discovered the architectural find of a lifetime. But when tragedy strikes, Caballeron soon finds his career, his dreams, and his love life wiped away. With nothing left to live for, he devotes everything to taking down the young upstart A.K. Yearling, whom he blames for all his losses. Unknown to him, Caballeron's activities have caught the attention of a group of ponies he'd rather not get involved with...
