It was getting dark As we flew around looking for discord, well they were looking for discord I was following the trail of strange happenings, a snake with no head, a tree that was pink, and the occasional boulder that was moving by itself uphill, as i look further I hear a scream.

I rush to fluttershy, who had for some reason screamed, the others right behind me, and we saw something gruesome, a creature that looked like it was made up of whatever animals were around, and it was truly ugly.

As we hovered above the creature, well twilight, dashie, fluttershy and me, the creature noticed us, and when it did twilight told us to land, and me to hide until we go elemental. I hid behind a bush and watched as twilight approached the creature, "hello there twilight, good to see you" the creature spoke, its voice sounding to high pitched for its body, "hello, discord, we have orders to to exterminate you, resistance is futile". Says twilight, voice almost showing anger, " wow, you're pretty direct, ain't you?" Says discord who had stood up on his hind legs, "but before we fight I have a question, what released me?", " we don't know" was twilights response as she began to put on her element, and the others doing the same, me taking a couple steps into the woods so my light wasn't spotted as I changed, and we once again went elemental.

Discord seemed to actually wait until the change was over, and then took off yelling you can't touch me if you can't catch me, and we followed in pursuit.

I flew right next to him, perfectly hidden by my true black color, I was almost to the point of trying to figure out what in the hell fucked what to make discord, but my mind had to stay focused on discord at all times so that I wouldn't let him get away.

We had flown for several hours, everyone besides me and dashie had fallen behind, and discord began to land. I followed right behind him, staying in his shadow, and he started to do something.

But first he yelled at dashie, "get out of here runt, go back to your freinds!", this told me I hadn't been spotted, and to make things even better we were far enough away From any inhabited place that we could have a battle royal and not destroy anything important.

I watched him for several minutes before I made my move, creeping up behind discord, and I attacked. First I launched a lightning bolt at discords neck, sending him into spasms, and I unveiled what I had been working on for awhile, a sword made of electromatter, which is the hardest stuff in any universe, made out of pure electrons and only I could weild it, and I brought it onto discords neck.

The moment the blade cut into discords neck there was a flash of light, and the first thing that went through my mind was light wasn't ever good.

When my eyes readjusted I looked up, and saw discords head separated from its body, the body still twitching, when I realized I was glowing.

This wasn't any little glow, it lit up 50 meters around me brighter than day, and once again I think " FUCK, light is never good.

I made sure that discord was truly dead by tearing him into quite a few pieces, and I took off, carrying discords head as proof I killed him. I didn't even get close to the elemental castle before I was pelted with boulders, I didn't see what was even happening until a boulder hit me in the side and broke into a million little pieces, and I saw applejack launching another boulder at me.

When this one came at me I was prepared, carrying discords head in one hoof, nocking the boulder out of the air with the other one, and I quickly landed, showing applejack that it was me, and she was in shock to see discords head, and I took off again.

I was about fifty meters away from the castle when I was hit with a ball of magic, it nocking me several feet back, I blocked the rest that came at me with my magic, and when I landed twilight was took back, either by discords head or that I was lit up like a fucking beacon, and she quickly led me to celestia.

When celestia saw me I tossed discords head at her, and she caught it before she realized what it was, and she let out a high pitched screa and dropped it, one of the antler things stopping it from rolling away, " he's dead, just like you asked." I say, wondering what had scared celestia so bad, "so it seems, but how did you kill him so fast and why are you glowing?" She asks me, "I snuck up behind him and killed him, and I don't fucking know why I'm glowing." They had gotten used to my occasionally swearing, and celestia picked the head back up.

She looked it over, opening the eyes and just examining it, until she looked in the neck and she went a even lighter shade of white.

"You absorbed his power, wow... This is unexpected, so that's why your glowing, your so full of power and magic your body is storing it in the air around you, this is quite a development..." Says celestia, and right as she finished talking the other elements joined celestia, twilight and me.

There was a  collective voice of " what in the hell, why are you glowing?", all this wondering about me glowing had made me self conscious, so I tried to hide myself in plain air, and it would've worked if I wasn't glowing because I was still my elemental black and there was plenty of shadows nearby, but the glow lit me up to much.

Dashie instantly rushed over to me and started flying around me, looking me over, "so your glowing, lets put you in a tower and use you to light up equestria!" Dashie was just joking, but i had a weird feeling in my stomach that they shouldn't be around me, like I was dangerous, so I voiced this, " I don't know why but I have a feeling that you shouldn't be around me, like I'm dangerous or something." I say, " oh please, the only thing your a threat to is elkondrians and discord, and you already beat discord" says dashie, waiving a hoof towards discords head, "and I can prove it!", she comes in to hug me, I try to take a step back but trip, and the moment she puts her arms around me I hear a WHOOSH! Sound.

Right after I hear the woosh sound dashie falls back, and to our horror we see her color drain away, literally drain away, leaving her completely a shade of grey, before I could even react twilight threw me to side with her magic, picking up the unconscious grey dashie, and she says " what did you do to her?, go, just leave!" Says twilight, who was yelling at me, "what do you mean?" I try to ask, but I was interrupted when twilight throws me out the window with her magic, literally throwing me out.

I hit the ground about 100 meters or so below, not even stunted by the impact, my mind trying to figure out what just happened, and I decided to go for a flight and let them cool off before I returned, the only thing on my mind was trying to figure out what had happened to dashie.

As I fly I realize some more strange things, like boulders following me on the ground, flocks off pure black birds trailing me, and the occasional feeling I wasn't alone.

I had been flying for about twenty minutes when one of the little black birds came up besides me, I stuck my fore leg out to give it a place to perch, and it must have sensed my intentions because it lands on my leg, but I hear the whooshing sound again and it falls, a pure grey.

I fly downwards as fast as I can and catch it with my magic, and something occurs to me, if I touch it again will it get its color back?, I land and set the bird down carefully with my magic, slowly I walk up to it and put my hoof out, and as I touch it there is another whooshing sound, and the bird got back up, its color slowly reappearing,  this excited me because it meant I could help dashie, plus I got a new friend, the bird found a perch on my back and staying there, and together we flew back to the elemental castle.

As I approached the castle it was easily quiet, and as I land a noise breaks this silence, a scream of rage.

I approached the room I had heard it come from and was encountered with a strange sight: the still grey dashie was strapped to a wall with Applejacks rope, twilight and fluttershy were holding dashie wings and pinkie was nowhere in sight, as I walk in twilight turns to me and her born starts glowing, but before she could do any magic I used mine and threw all of them into the walls and held them there, as I walked through the middle of the room, everyone stuck against the walls besides dashie, who was tied up anyway, and I stood in front of her.

As I stood in front of dashie I look her in the eyes, even when she kicks me with a free leg, and slowly I bring my horn to her head.

The moment my horn touches her there's that whooshing sound again, and slowly dashie color comes back, when it does she no longer tries to hurt me, if anything she seems tired, and as I untie her she falls onto me and I catch her, glad she was back to normal.

I took the sleepy dashie to her room and laid her down in her bed, moving out as quietly as possible, the moment I was out of dashie room all eyes turned to me, wanting a explanation of what just happened, but I didn't answer any questions, I just took off from the castle again.

I fly around for most of the night, just thinking about my new power and how much of a threat I was, and my little bird friend stayed on my back, tweeting now and again as I talk to myself out loud, almost like it was agreeing with me.

When I finally decide to go back to the castle it was close to morning, dawn just breaking as I land on the little balcony, as I walk in I see everyone had just woke up, dashie included, they were sitting in a circle and talking, but the moment I walk in everyone falls silent.

"Where have you been?", twilight asks me, " just flying and thinking" I reply, just as I finish these words dashie comes up to me and pokes me, like she wondered if happened will happen again, and I was able to breath easy when she didn't change at all, I think we were all kinda happy for this reason, and I sat down with them so we could talk.
