Gilda was a mean griffon. She only cared about being cool and would beat up or bully anyone around who wasn't up to her standards, clearly the epitome of a bully. One day, somewhere in Ponyville where everypony could see everything, she yelled and verbally abused Fluttershy after the Pegasus accidentally bumped her while guiding some little, much more content, ducklings. Shortly afterwards, she abused Spike in a similar manner for accidentally falling in her path. This proved to be Gilda's undoing. Why? When Rainbow Dash, her old friend, was there to see the whole thing, called the griffon out on her actions, the griffon tried to trot off. Rainbow Dash whistled, summoning the rest of the Mane 6 and Apple Bloom. The dragon and seven ponies surrounded Gilda, all now wearing sunglasses and swag.

"Who's ready for some chicken," Fluttershy had butterfly knives equipped in her front hooves and wings. (You know, for the kids!)

"You meanie-pants, you're going to get it," Pinkie had an actual cannon (not her party cannon) equipped and her mane was straight.

"Y'all know we don't accept your kind o' attitude here," Applejack had her lasso while Apple Bloom was ready to charge.

"I simply can't believe you would do that to Fluttershy and Spike!" Rarity was in a fighting pose.

"You should not have done that to my drakefriend," Twilight had her magic at the ready.

"You are aware you messed with a dragon, did you not?" Spike was still bruised, but had his flame breath ready.

"I see you have met with a terrible fate," Rainbow coldly replied as she scoffed and prepared herself to charge.

Gilda was terrified and tried to run and flee but Twilight's magic held her down. Soon, a lasso was thrown around her by Applejack. After some setup by Applejack, Rarity and Apple Bloom played a game of tether-ball. As Gilda whizzed past him, Spike blew a flame, causing the griffon's feathers to go alight. Fluttershy declawed Gilda as well as sliced off any remaining feathers as Gilda whizzed past. The citizens of Ponyville cheered them on for ridding it of this despicable tourist. Fluttershy finally sliced the rope to the "Gilda tether-ball", sending the now naked griffon flying into the real (not party) cannon. Pinkie Pie aimed the cannon at the griffon homeland. Rainbow Dash had some words to say before Gilda was shot all the way back to her homeland.

"Don't ever mess with my childhood friend... and crush... again!"

Luckily, Spike was not close enough to hear that one otherwise the order of Harem inductions would have been severely messed up. Rainbow Dash pulled the string causing the cannon to fire. There was a great round of applause from the Ponyville residents which caused the Mane 6, Apple Bloom, and Spike to all take a bow. The eight of them then returned to the Golden Oak Library. After sending a note to Princess Celestia detailing this... incident, they all sat down in the library contemplating what to do next.

"Ya think the Princess will be alright with our actions?" Applejack inquired.

"You never know," Pinkie replied with her usual cheerful attitude, her mane back to normal.

It was then that the Princess replied with a note that had an "OK hand gesture" on it. They all just laughed at their luck.

The Mane 6, Spike, and Apple Bloom all gathered with a whole bunch of Ponyville citizens to go see a magic show. A Unicorn named "The Great and Powerful Trixie" had come into town. At first it seemed very impressive, but when looked at closely, it was just a fancy light show that Pegasus and Earth Ponies could recreate. That being said, some Earth Ponies and Pegasus did so to prove to Trixie they could do the same. She wouldn't have any of it as she had a big ego, so she sabotaged their attempts. The citizens of Ponyville who were the same ones who cheered during the griffon removal by the Mane 6, Apple Bloom, and Spike were now laughing at the misfortune of the Pegasus and Earth Ponies who now had blackened faces. Speaking about ego, Trixie went as so far as to say she vanquished an Ursa Major.

Applejack, Rainbow Dash, then Rarity also tried to prove Trixie wrong. This resulted them getting tied up, self-rainbowed, and a messy hairdo respectively. Twilight would not have any of it and secretly sabotaged Trixie back by tying her up after Applejack hopped off the stage, rainbowing her after Rainbow Dash's antics, and lastly changing her hat into a pile of snakes. Trixie made it look like she did those three things on purpose. The rest of the Mane 6, Apple Bloom, and Spike giggled at Twilight's shenanigans. The very rude and ungrateful Ponyville citizens laughed at all the misfortunes of both sides.

Later in the day after the show, Snips and Snails decided to see if Trixie was lying, so they woke up what they thought was an Ursa Major (really an Ursa Minor) and ended up bringing it to Ponyville. The Ursa Minor apparently only had a budget to wreck one building. Trixie freaked out and trembled as she looked at the Ursa Minor.

"Stop goofin' around and vanquish it, eh?" Snails got impatient.

Trixie attempted to summon a spell, but it was a dud.

"Come on! Where's all the cool explosions and smoke and stuff like earlier?" Snips questioned.

Trixie tried again but to no avail.

"Uh-oh," was all the dashed unicorn could say.

The Ursa roared and general chaos ensued. Twilight and Spike ran out to see what all the commotion was about.

"Alright, what's going on!" Twilight yelled.

"We brought an Ursa to town!" Snips and Snails dumbly exclaimed.

"You what!?!" Twilight and Spike yelled.

"Don't worry, the Great and Powerful Trixie will vanquish it," Snails commented.

Trixie, realizing the jig was up, sighed.

"I can't," Trixie spoke out.

"What!?" the colts yelled out in shock.

"Oh, I can't, I never have. No one can vanquish an Ursa Major. I just made the whole story up to make me look better," Trixie bawled out.

"Made it up!?"

Twilight knew she had to act fast, so she used cattails to lullaby the Ursa Minor to sleep and got it a nice big bottle of milk that was not Ponyville's water tower, then sent it back to its loving parent in peace. The rest of the Mane 6 and Apple Bloom who were awoken by the commotion along with Spike were impressed and cheered their friend on for being humble and just acting rather than boasting.

"Wow Twilight, how'd you know what to do with that Ursa Major?" Spike was impressed by his marefriend's intuition.

"I was so intrigued by Trixie's bragging that I was compelled to do a little reading up on them during the hours before," Twilight replied to her drakefriend.

"So it is possible to vanquish an Ursa Major all by yourself?" Spike curiously asked.

"That wasn't an Ursa Major. It was a baby, an Ursa Minor," Twilight matter-of-factly stated.

"That was just a baby?" Trixie exclaimed.

"And it wasn't rampaging. It was just cranky because someone woke it up," Twilight also matter-of-factly stated.

"Well, if that was an Ursa Minor, then what's an Ursa Major like?" Spike asked.

"You don't wanna know," Twilight matter-of-factly stated.

"Huh. You may have vanquished an Ursa Minor, but you will never have the amazing, show-stopping ability of--" Trixie tried to begin.

"No Trixie, boasting is not a quality I would want to have, not to mention lying blatantly to the crowd. It just isn't the right thing to be doing. Luckily, you can still redeem yourself," Twilight commented.

Trixie disagreed, still thinking that she was just shown up, then ran away.

"Maybe someday she'll learn her lesson," Twilight commented, then turned to the two idiot colts, "now, about you two."

Snips laughed nervously.

"Uh, we're sorry that we woke up the Ursa Minor," Snips nervously trembled.

"We just wanted to see some awesome magic," Snails honestly spoke.

"Yeah! And the way you vanquished that Ursa Minor was awesome!" Snips continued.

"We deserve whatever punishment you give us," Snails finished off.

Twilight pulled out a paddle.

After the Mane 6, Spike and Apple Bloom hung out for a while after all the chaos, Twilight and Spike were in bed.

"You know Twilight, you're talents are quite impressive, not only do you have the magical prowess, but you are also able to think on your hooves!" Spike complimented.

"Thank you, but it's nothing to brag about," Twilight sheepishly blushed while rubbing her front hooves together.

Spike gave Twilight a peck on the lips.

"I know, but that's one of the things I like about you ya know? Your contentedness even with all this excellence," Spike smiled at Twilight.

Twilight blushed some more and returned the smile.

Things like this is why we were meant for each other.

The purple duo cuddled up all cozy and such, being the most adorable bundle of purple ever, then fell asleep peacefully in Twilight's bed.
