*July 17, 3942. 6:32 A.M (Ponyville time)

Nearly two months had passed since the Canterlot invasion. Military protection has risen, as every citizen believes that there'll be more Doppelganger attacks soon, while the truth is, Sombra is out there, waiting for something. During the time, things have been really bright for Spike: He became a hero to the eyes of nearly every human, mage, angel, & any other species in Equestria's galaxies & planets, he was promoted to commander of division M6 after he saved Canterlot, and has been invited to many shows including "Hoity Toity's Half Hour Show", "Photo Finish Celebrity Photo shoots", "Trender Hoof's Terrific News", "Sapphire Shore's Singing Show", and, though his lowest for multiple reasons, "Blue Blood's Prince Past show". Spike sat next to Twilight, as they both remained silent with the exception being their breathing & the whirring of the shuttle they were in. Spike wore an officer's suit that was tailored for his tail to fit through while she was in her princess dress. The two were in a private ship, piloted by the Angel that Spike really despised, Flash Sentry.They were heading towards their old home & colony, Ponyville, as today was the day that Discord and Fluttershy were going to be married. While Celestia offered Canterlot to be the place where they wed, Fluttershy insisted that they're fine and that royal weddings weren't her thing, joking about Cadence's and Shining Armor's wedding. Celestia agreed and allowed the two to have their wedding on colony, just as long as she brought some security and allowed some cameramen to come & record this for everyone to see, as she'll be there and, if no one knew where she was at, everyone would panic. Fluttershy agreed to her offer, but insists that they won't need a lot of security.

In his mind, he remembered the stuff he did:

It was no surprise that, on T.V., he was truthful with many things except the fact Sombra was still alive, but, from time-to-time, he's performed many things with the hosts that many of his peers wouldn't be comfortable with. With the hosts on the show, Hoity Toity gave him a suit that looked a lit like scales, claiming that should relax a bit and not be so uppity; he may be a soldier, but that doesn't mean he can't unwind. Thanks to that, Spike's been wearing his suit around the other shows. Photo Finish was a funny experince for him, as he posed for his pictures to be taken, only for the pictures to be photo shopped, leading him to go on various 'adventures'. Trender Hoof was more of a game show host to him, asking him various questions about his favorite superheroes and getting first hand looks at clips from upcoming superhero films that'd be coming soon in a year or two. Sapphire Shores actually wanted to test his musical abilities, as her show was more of a singing show, but was surprised that her request, Abba's "Dancing Queen", was perfectly orchestrated as Spike played the piano and sang along with Sapphire. Blue Blood was the worst experience: Blue Blood was more of a critic, pointing at the flaws of Spike being lazy, being too childish, and, perhaps the worst, being called gay for doing something feminine on live T.V. Spike was actually saved by Twilight that day, who used the a bucket filled Canterlot kitchen's grease on Blue Blood, making him the laughing stock of his own show!

Alright... that was funny! Spike thought to himself again.

"Is there something wrong?" Twilight's voice interrupted Spike. He was snapped out of his phase, turned to Twilight, then smiled.

"Nothing's wrong," Spike replied "I was just remembering what you did to Blue Blood on national Television."

"I couldn't allow him call you out on that stuff, Spike! You may be a hero to most of the galaxy's residents, but you're still the little Draco I hatched & raised when I was only ten."

"I know, and I'm thankful for that... and I think the galaxy does as well."

"Oh yes! Already Fifty billion views in less than a week-"

"And with twenty billion likes beating the measly two million." They both chuckled together, remembering what happened and seeing it together online. True, while Twilight may have received some negative views as a 'too-motherly' and an impatient figure that lashes out on people, and Spike may have gotten some looks as a momma's boy that allowed someone else to fend for him, but, as Rainbow Dash would say, 'It was all worth it'.

"We'll be landing in a few minutes." Flash Sentry spoke.

"Thank you for the news." Twilight commented, then turning to Spike "Are you ready for this?"

"I'm already looked up as a hero in this galaxy after saving Canterlot," Spike responded with a prideful tone in his voice "I'm pretty sure our old town's residents won't be as much of a problem as those Doppelgangers!" Twilight giggled at Spike comment

"I hope you're right, 'my hero'." The floor shook, followed by a low thump.

"We're here." Flash sentry spoke, turning his chair around "I hope you two are ready."

"We're ready for anything." Spike replied. The back of the shuttle opened, followed by bright light and massive cheering! The two exited together, their eyes adjusted, until they could see just about everyone in the colony had gathered together to cheer for both their local turned immortal princess, and their new Draco commander hero. Their shuttle left, leaving the two standing in front of the relatively new castle that Twilight has since redecorated to look more homey instead of a familiar king's castle. Both took a deep breath, locked arms with each other, and walked down, looking like a true sibling couple. With their free arms, they waved to the people, hearing the mass cheer by recognizable, but also new & younger faces, seeing the changes that have happened on this colony since they arrived. It's no surprise that the castle is a big change, but some include how Sweet Apple Acres now has a jump in technology instead of more traditional means, Rarity's old boutique shop has now been turned into a museum for tourists to learn about this colony's history, Rainbow Dash's old home has now been turned into a base for Angel soldiers, Cheerilee's school has grown much larger to be that of a school that teaches both elementary to high school, and the burnt grounds of where the Golden Oak library has changed to where a statue stands, showing Twilight & her friends standing together. Other than those, the rest of the colony has remained the same; new houses are there, and some of the everfree forest is now gone, but still, relatively the same.

A large shadow overcasted them, as even louder cheering came from the crowd. Spike and Twilight turned, seeing a much larger ship that could house this whole colony easily! Out in the front, the doors opened, and both Celestia & Luna came right out, waving to the now roaring crowd.

"Now I want that type of attention." Spike joked.

"Oh please," Twilight replied "if anything, I'm going to get that attention before you!"

"And I don't deny that." The two continued down, seeing at the end, they both saw two familiar humans: Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

Profiles:

Applejack: One of Twilight's best friends, Applejack runs the local barn called "Sweet Apple Acres" and is the third generation of humans living in Ponyville, first belonging to the founder & grandmother herself, Granny Smith. At her barn, ever since Granny Smith passed away a few years ago, her older brother (Big Mac), her little Sister (Applebloom), and herself have since changed the barn to fit most other colony barns, as a way to make their life easier, though it has since made them a bit lazier. A.J. herself is considered the strongest & most durable human in both the colony & her friends, and she takes pride in it. Because of her pride, she's been the most stubborn out of her friends, and it's landed her in some situations that she must then admit it's her own fault. Despite this, she'll always get up and has, with a few exceptions, has been the most strongest, honest, and dependable among her friends.

Pinkie Pie: Another one of Twilight's best friends, Pinkie Pie was actually an immigrant from a family of rock farmers (don't ask how) who now lives & works in Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie is a more... interesting part of the colony, as she wants to spread happiness among everyone else, doing things that are considered impossible in scientific standards, such as pulling things out of thin air, make everyone sing with music right behind her with no radio, and is still perfectly healthy despite eating purely nothing but sugary & sweet products. Depite her... questionable methods, Pinkie is actually quite intelligent for being hyper, keeping a mental list of everyone who's been in town, has settled a near religious argument against Twilight herself, and is rumored to be so smart, she can actually see into the past & learn from history's icons. But... that's just a theory. We'll just say she's random, but smart, and is always there for her friends and never means to hurt anyone at all, no matter what species they are.

Both Applejack and Pinkie Pie were in their familiar clothes: Applejack in her usual different shaded plaid shirt, tucked into a pair of denim pants, held by a buckle & the cowboy boots, topped by her hat she's been wearing, passed to her by her father. Her skin was a bit darkened with some wrinkles showing, but not a lot to make her look older, which was distracted by her green eyes and her really long, yellow ponytail. Pinkie, on the other hand, wore more casual clothing, sporting a pink T-Shirt with three balloons on it (Two blues on the sides and one yellow in the middle), a darker shade of pint shorts, and pink sneakers, topped off by her cotton candy looking pink hair and bright blue eyes. Both Applejack and Pinkie turned to the two, they both screamed with joy, and ran to the two! Twilight got out of Spike's arm lock and took two steps to the side.

"What are you-" Before Spike could finish his question, he was lifted by Applejack, who proceeded to give him a bear hug that, though felt a bit painful, felt pretty good when his bones cracked. Pinkie, on the other hand, fired her signature party canon, making A.J. drop Spike to the floor, only to be hugged by Pinkie.

"I'll go check on the two," Twilight spoke "don't be late!" Spike nodded, but struggled to get out of Pinkie's grasp.

"Please!" Spike begged but chuckled "Enough with the hugs!"

"But we miss you so much!!!" Pinkie exclaimed, failing to hold back tears but smiling "Nearly two years felt like an eternity for me!!!"

"It felt like that for the both of us." Applejack added, parting both Pinkie and Spike away. "'sides, Twilight's been keeping tabs on us, remember?" They were both released from each other with what sounded like a 'pop!'.

"I do! But it's not the same with our real Spikey Wikey!!!" Spike watched her cry for a few extra seconds, but extended his right claw and placed it on her left shoulder. She looked at his hand, then to the Draco.

"Don't worry," Spike spoke "we can catch up with each other after the wedding, how does that sound?" Pinkie sniffed, then hugged him again.

"That... sounds great!"

"I'm sure it does." Pinkie released Spike and sprinted away, heading to where a bunch of band members, gleefully pulling out all her instruments to be her own one woman band.

"I swear," Applejack commented "she more hyper than a cartoon character on sugar during a Black Friday deal."

"You know I still don't really get your human metaphors." Spike spoke with a chuckle.

"Sorry. Do... you need any help?"

"Other than knowing where the bride & groom are at, no, I don't."

"Oh... good. Care to join; we have plenty of time until ya'll need to catch up with our love birds."

"I don't see why not." The two walked ahead around town, heading to a punch bar area. Applejack pulled out a bottle of flask from her right boot and took a quick sip from it. "You drink that much?"

"Ever since Granny passed, yeah... Ah have."

"It's... really tough, isn't it?"

"Hell yeah. Since when have things been easy around ma family's barn?"

"Point taken."

"Care for a sip?" A.J. handed Spike the flask

"A.J. ... I'm only 19. You know what the law says."

"Ah know, and ah think it's complete B.S.! Yer already a commander in the army, yer a hero to Canterlot, and ya'll protected not just Twilight, but Rainbow and Rarity too, so I say shut up and drink to it! 'Sides, I may represent honesty, but I can keep a few secrets." Spike looked at the flask she held to him. Nervously, he took the flask and took a quick swig of it. He spat it out and coughed to it!

"It taste awful!!!"

"...oh! That's the hard stuff. I... think you may want to try Miller Light first before drinking what I'm having." She placed her flask back into her boot."

"You think!?"

"Alright... I know! Ma apologies for that." she extended her hand to him. Spike took it and got up.

"I accept it. Just... try to keep your drinking in check and, if this happens, let me 'grow' in drinking, okay?"

"Yes sir!" She saluted to him. "I ain't gonna drink during Fluttershy's wedding and make a fool outta mah-self... yet."

"Let's avoid that at all costs." Spike turned around to where the bride & groom were at, but stopped & turned around. "Say, where's Applebloom and Big Mac?"

"Those two? Big Mac's on Appleoosa right now, helping with cousin Braeburn in a project of his, and Applebloom, along with her friends, took a job at that fancy robot-sentry buildin' F.I.S.T."

Organizations:

F.I.S.T. is a short term for "First Intergalactic Sentry Team", and is considered both the most powerful company and most corrupt. They are known for selling state of the art robots to other companies and wealthy individuals who need some non human protection, but also research in weapons development, medicine, and ship engineering. While making many breakthroughs, most of which are now used in the military, F.I.S.T. has gained the reputation of taking employees considered 'lazy' or are handicapped to act as guinea pigs in these experiments, leading to horrifying discoveries and, ultimately, death. Their boss is none other than Ponyville's resident and famous businessman, Mr. Filthy Rich (or just rich in his case), which will soon be ran by his daughter, Diamond Tiara.

"F.I.S.T.!?" Spike asked in shock "Did you warn them about the dangers of working for them!?"

"Already did." A.J. replied "Go and meet up with Fluttershy and that freak. I'll be here... lookin' for... Twilight." Another sip. Spike rolled his eyes and walked away. A couple of familiar faces passed by, but he stopped at what was two tents, one blue & the other pink, both standing next to each other. He turned to the pink, but stopped as the blue tent's rustled a bit, and out came the alternate dimensional man himself, Discord!

Profiles:

Discord is an unknown species that's from a different dimension. Very little is known about his past, other than his name, his personality in being more of a trickster than most of Equestria's wannabe overlords, and his strange abilities to break the laws of physics, summon anything he wants, and hypnosis over anything with no training whatsoever. Originally, he was able to take over most of Equestria, turning the land into what many believe is his home dimension, but was foiled twice: One by the royal sisters themselves after he mocked them, the second by Twilight & her friends before she became an Immortal, and both turned Discord to stone by the Elements of harmony. Later, before Twilight Sparkle became an immortal, Discord was released and set in a reformation program with Fluttershy, who used kindness and made herself a friend to him, changing him to a more controlled being with his chaotic abilities, though everyone having to suffer from one of his tricks every now & then. When Tirek, a [Data Excluded] from the far reaches of space escaped from his cell in Tartarus , Discord was tricked by him into trapping Twilight's friends to lure the immortal herself, but had his abilities removed, leaving him weak. Twilight saved the day & was rewarded with her own castle, though Discord was full of envy when he didn't have a throne inside.

Since his reformation, Discord has been turning from a despised person to a beloved person on the Colony of Ponyville, and he has since fallen in love with the one who reformed him, Fluttershy. Only time will tell if Fluttershy can tame Discord's chaotic heart and if Discord, who's probably older than Celestia herself, can find love & remain pure when his bride passes away.

Spike stared at Discord, seeing all his features instantly: standing slender & about as tall as Celestia herself, a goat horn & crooked deer antler popping out of his head, a large canine popping out of the right side of his mouth, a weird white top of hair transitioning to the black on the back of his head, a matching white beard that was pointing out like a small pyramid, his arms transitioning to a lion's paw on his right arm & an eagle's claw to his left, a long & snake like tail ending with a white fluff appearing above his legs, mismatched shoes with a green sneaker on his right foot & a tan boot over his left, and his body covered by a long, brown coat that hung over his matching pants. The two stared at each other for a what seemed like hours.

"You know it's not polite to stare, right?" Discord asked with his mischievous smile.

"I know," Spike replied, keeping a straight face "I just hope you know that you're suppose to be in a black suit."

"I do." He snapped his eagle hand & he appeared in a suit in a puff of smoke, almost like a magician. "I must say, I never thought you'd be going to my wedding!"

"I'm not here for you! I'm here for her."

"Ah! Don't care for the groom, just seeing if the bride's alright. Hurtful. Hurts right in here." He pointed at his heart.

"I just want to see if she's alright. How you're able to win her without hypnosis is something scholars can only tell, but... even with you and what you've done before... I actually wish good luck."

"Good luck?"  

"Yeah. Good luck. Though with you, I'm sure you've already rigged the game, right?" Discord mischievously chuckled to himself

"Me? Rigging the game? Oh please, I make my own luck!" Spike walked to the pink tent. "And Spike." He turned around to Discord.

"Yeah?"

"...Thank you. I admit I've never been the best person in the galaxy, but I love her and I'll do anything to protect her and make her happy! That is a promise I'll never break!" Spike smirked.

"You Pinkie promise?"

"Pinkie Promise? ... Oh! That Pinkie promise! I do!"

"Say it with me." Discord stared for a second, then let out a sigh of defeat. The two both spoke together.

"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."

"That feels strange!" Discord commented

"You'll get used to it." Spike replied "You better get ready, the wedding will begin soon."

"The Wedding! You're right! I'll be ready!" Discord vanished. Spike saw that many people were now taking their seats, their chattering clearly heard. Spike walked into the pink tent, seeing the Blossom sisters around the yellow wing colored angel herself in a wedding veil, Fluttershy.

Profiles:

Fluttershy is another one of Twilight Sparkle's friends and was also an immigrant to the colony of Ponyville at a young age. She was accidentally pushed off by some angels on her home of Cloudsdale, but found herself a new home in Ponyville. She has a strange ability to talk to animals as if they were people & can understand what they're saying, calming down many of the galaxies giant beasts as if they were regular pets. While great with animals, she's actually really shy with everyone else, having little to no friends with the exception being Rainbow Dash in her early years, and now Twilight Sparkle with her friends. Thanks to her friends, Fluttershy's been slowly facing her fears in a lot of ways, going on adventures that she'd faint quickly when alone.

Celestia gave Fluttershy a task that was easier said than done: reform Discord. Thanks to her kindness and offering in being his friend, Discord has been reformed for the greater good, even if he still makes mistakes from time to time and will cause mischief. For some reason, she's slowly developed feeling for Discord, as, though not perfect with a past many consider 'evil', she see that that there's good in him and that they both are in love with each other! Fluttershy knows that she won't be around forever, but when she passes on, Discord continues being the good man she believes he can be and, if he passes, they will be together again.

Fluttershy stood in her wedding veil; her long, luscious pink hair covered the left back of her head and her right eye, reaching over her shoulder & over her hips. With the exception of being a few inches taller, time didn't seem to affect the angel, who was still young looking. She turned and gasped at the sight of Spike, her wings flailing a bit, but stopped as she saw who it was.

"S-spike!?" She asked

"Fluttershy." He returned with a simple nod.

"Yo-you came! You really came!?"

"I did. For you."

"Excuse me for a second."

"Of course." The twins spoke in unison, exiting the tent. F;luttershy walked to Spike and gave him a tight hug, sniffling a bit.

"It's been so long!"

"I know." Spike replied, hugging back as well "Two years feels like an eternity for everyone." She released her hug from him and smiled.

"Do you remember the time when we first met?"

"How can I forget that?"

"You were so small when we first meet, and a bit... um... how do I say it? ... chubby, as a child. Now you're about as tall as everyone, and you've gotten skinnier!"

"I can thank puberty and training for those." He chuckled at his own joke. Fluttershy giggled with him.

"I won't deny that. How's Discord? Is he doing anything wrong?"

"He's actually fine. He tole me that he'll do whatever he can to protect you and make you happy."

"Oh! I believe he will! Did you make him Pinkie promise?"

"I did." She sniffled a bit and hugged Spike again. Spike caressed her hair a bit, getting her attention. "Are you afraid of him?"

"What!?" She looked up to him and stopped her hugging. "No! I mean... I was when we first meet him... and perhaps our second time during his reformation...but he's changed!"

"And I won't argue with that. You've seen what he can do, and aren't you at least a bit afraid of what he can do?"

"Well... when you put it that way... I kinda am. But... I'm sure that he won't hurt me at all! In fact, he seems to smile whenever I smile! You should see what we're like watching many projects that the famous human cartoon maker herself Lauren Faust produced!"

"Really? Does that include-"

"Yes! We watched My Li-"

"Fluttershy!" Rarity's voice interrupted from the other side "Your wedding's about to begin in a few minutes!"

"Oh! Thank you, Rarity!" Spike turned around and began to exit.

"I hope you two have a great adventure together." Spike spoke.

"Wait!" He stopped and turned to Fluttershy "Don't you have someone you love, like Rarity?" Spike took a deep sigh, some sadness built in his voice.

"Sadly... I don't."

"Why? Is there something wrong?"

"Nothing but age and knowledge. I had a crush on Rarity, but that was a child crush, not real love like what you have with Discord. Plus, I'm not sure if my DNA can go well with a different species that isn't a Draco like me. I don't want to sound like a teenager, but I don't want to die a virgin."

"But you won't." She placed her right hand on his left shoulder.

"How do you know?"

"This is a historical thing that's been going on, but remember when my species as well as the humans and mages were making Equestria?"

"...Yeah. I remember."

"Well... despite our differences and some rivalries, many of us actually found out that we loved each other and, though illegal at the time, got married, knowing it's an inter-species relationship. From out of those, it's been discover that, though rarely, two different species will give birth to a third altogether!"

"Wait... so you mean an angel and a mage can have a human, a human & a mage having an angel, and an angel with a human raising a mage!?"

"Exactly! This was a breakthrough in science, and, just a few years before Celestia was born, it was now legal for any of us to have a cross-species relationship as long as the other is sentient."

"Just like that?"

"Just like that." Spike smiled to Fluttershy

"Thanks."

"Anytime! You may want to find your seat, I'll be there in a few moments." She turned around and the twins reentered the tent. Spike exited the tent, seeing nearly everyone's taken a seat.

After a few minutes of waiting, the wedding began. Spike, Twilight, and her friends sat in front of the right side, Fluttershy's side, while Luna, & Cadence sat on the left side, Discord's side. Celestia stood as the preacher, keeping a close eye on Discord if he tried anything funny, but was surpised to see him standing mostly still, as Blueblood acted as the best man for him (probably as additional punishment after his grease shower on live T.V.). Plenty of cameramen were around, recording everything, as nearly everyone across the galaxy watched on their T.V.s & computers, seeing the once despised Discord being wed with one of the bearers of harmony, Fluttershy. At least twelve guards stood in place, preparing themselves for something bad to happen. Wedding music began to play, as Fluttershy exited out of her tent, dressed up in her wedding veil, but her hair tied together to stay on her right side as she did for the Grand Galloping Gala. Discord himself was shocked at how beautiful he was, fanning himself with his own hands & sweating hard as she walked to the stand. The two stood there, looking at each other in the eyes before turning to Celestia

"Ladies and Gentlemen," Celestia began "we are gathered here today, today to celebrate a great union between the once vile ruler of chaos himself, Discord, with the bearer of Kindness herself, Fluttershy. Though they started off as enemies, their love for each other has grown into something that's bizarrely beautiful and unforgettable!" She turned to Blueblood "May we have the rings?" Blueblood grumbled to himself, handing the two their rings. "Discord, will you have this woman to be your wife, to live together in the sacred estate of marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, and be faithful to her, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do!" He replied

"And Fluttershy, will you have this man to be your husband, to live together in the sacred estate of marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, and be faithful to him, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do!" Fluttershy announced!

"Then we shall hear your vows to each other. Please, begin." Discord took a deep breath

"I, Discord take you, Fluttershy, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

"And I, Fluttershy, take you, Discord, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

"If anyone wishes to object," Celestia spoke "please, speak up now, or forever hold your peace."

"I object!" A booming, dark voice spoke. Everyone turned, to see what was a man in a dark cloak, and what appears to be purple smoke coming out of his legs & chest area, with the smoke covering his face.

"Who's there!?" Discord yelled in anger "Who dares to interrupt my wife's and I wedding!?"

"...Discord... it's been such a long time, have you forgotten about me?"

"What!? No! Who are you!?"

"Hold on," Spike spoke "That voice... that smoke... my god!" The figure removed his hood, showing himself: standing in front of them was a mage in what looked like king's armor, wearing a red cape with white fur on the edges, as he wore a crown over his black hair that moved like fire, and his eyes were green with red pupils & purple smoke erupting from the sides, passing by the side of his head.

"SOMBRA!!!" Discord yelled

Profiles:

Sombra was once an ordinary mage that was born on an old, run down and freezing colony that would later become the Crystal empire. Though we're unsure if is his parents died or abandoned him, the young Mage lived as an orphan, and was teased by the other children on how he could only say one word, Sombra. His only friend that he had, which was also Cadence's mom, was Radiant Hope. He only became the tyrant everyone knows him for, was when he was lost in the frozen wastelands away from any home, and found a strange red crystal called "Umbrum". Scientists aren't sure if the crystal was sentient or if Sombra was hallucinating, but it spoke to Sombra and gave him his newfound abilities to turn into shadows, grow crystals using the planet's crust itself, make anyone see their deepest & darkest fears, and cancel any mage's psychic abilities that renders them useless.

Sombra took over the Colony on his own, made everyone into his slaves, and turned the colony into his own crystal empire that was believed to rival that of Celestia & Luna's might! Unfortunately, for Sombra, he was defeated, but he made sure that, everyone will be in a state of hibernation with him, dragging the empire & it's people down under the planet's crust, waiting for he time when one of Radiant Hope's children visits the planet and raises himself & his empire back from their sleep. While it did happen, Sombra was defeated by an unlikely foe: with the help from both Cadence and Shining Armor, Spike became the hero & savior of the Crystal Empire, disintegrating Sombra as the final result. We all thought he was dead, until now.

"Yes," Sombra spoke, walking to the middle "it is I: King Sombra!" Everyone got up and backed up from him

"How is he alive!?" Applejack asked "Ah thought we blew him up!"

"You did, but I am back! Unlike you all, who think only one or two steps ahead, I plan ahead a full five steps ahead! I knew that I would fall if I didn't win, so I did what I did."

"And that is!?" Twilight asked, preparing herself for combat.

"Removing my own hand." Everyone stared at him with a questioned look. "It is a risk I had to take. See, thanks to those years of studying before I became king, I learned of a trick that was been long forgotten, a simple trick of regenerating one's self from a single organ, which was my hand before I was vaporized. I won't lie, it felt like hell while I regenerated, made only worse with the cold around, but I came back, and I believe it's fitting that I get what I want!"

"And what is that!?" Spike asked, standing in front of the shadow mage himself.

"YOU!!! You will pay for what you did to me those years ago!!!" Rainbow Dash landed in front of Sombra, making the mage step a few steps back.

"You want him?" Rainbow Dash asked "You gotta get through us!"

"That will be easy." Sombra crossed his arms.

"Who say's it'll be easy for you!? You and what-" Loud screeching shook the area and everyone looked up, seeing what was a swarm heading towards them!

"Doppelgangers!!!" Pinkie yelled in fear! Two Doppelganger queens landed next to Sombra, both looking identical in many ways and both with Sombra's purple eye smoke, followed by swarms of Doppelganger landing around the wedding area!

"How did you-" Luna spoke in surprise

"It wasn't easy," Sombra interrupted "I had to start with weaker hives, then I grew in strength & numbers. Now, enough chit chat. Doppelgangers, ATTACK!!!" All the Doppelgangers charged at the Bearers of harmony & the princesses themselves, completely ignoring the bystanders. Celestia, Luna, and Twilight made a bubble shield around them all, holding off against the Doppelgangers that were trying to attack them!

"Guards!!!" Celestia yelled!

"Open fire!!!" One of the guards yelled. A barrage of bullets were heard, as Doppelgangers dropped dead after being shot in the back & head area, while other limped & continued to attack their bubble shield, obviously showing no signs of them giving up. Many of the guards were yelling "Reloading!" while the others continued to get rid of the attacking Doppelgangers.

"Enough of this!" Sombra yelled. "Attack those guards!" The Doppelgangers listened to their master and charged at the guards." The Immortals placed down their shield, watching as a few Doppelgangers turned into the soldiers & attacked the guards!

"We've got to help them!" Twilight yelled.

"No!" Spike replied "They know what they're doing. We have to escape!"

"Already ahead of you." Discord spoke, grabbing Fluttershy & lifting her in both of his arms. "Sorry honey, not what I was expecting one our wedding day." They both faded away until they were nothing.

"Where'd they go!?" Rarity asked

"Most likely to Canterlot." Celestia replied

"Everyone!" Luna yelled "To our ship!" Everyone began to run away from the carnage, heading towards the spaceship both Celestia & Luna traveled in. Soon, multiple screams & footsteps were heard, as the whole colony began to run behind the group in.  Sombra turned and saw the crowd escaping, but saw Spike with the crowd, running with them.

"Oh no you don't!" He growled.

After a few minutes of running, everyone began to enter the royal sister's spaceship. Both Spike and Twilight stepped to the sides, informing everyone to get inside, find a spot, and brace themselves for liftoff. They looked out and saw the Doppelganger swarm charging at them! Without any word, the two began to enter the ship, which began to turn on & prepare itself to open. But, before Spike could even enter, Sombra appeared right in front of him, grabbed Spike by the neck collar of his shirt, and threw him into the swarm.

"SPIKE!!!" Twilight yelled. Without looking back, Sombra pushed Twilight inside the ship as it's door began to shut and seal itself from the outside world. Spike watched the ship rise up from the ground and began, rather slowly, to a blink of an eye, get off the now abandoned colony's atmosphere to somewhere safer! He looked behind him and saw the swarm was only a few feet away! Sombra stepped up to Spike and held up his hand, stopping his army. The Doppelgangers stopped and hissed at Spike.

"I've been waiting a full decade for this!" Sombra spoke, levitating Spike as his hands glowed purple with a green outline, as his eyes turned full green. "Do you realize how embarrassing it is to be defeated by a mere child!? Cadence and Shining Armor may have helped you, but you took the crystal heart, you placed it inside the tower's core, you activated the city's positive electromagnetic fields! YOU KILLED ME!!!"

"...Well... Twilight sent me to do it." Spike joked.

"...Your humor eludes me." Sombra levitated dropped cameras, still recording, and held them in place with some crystals, ripping the planet's crust from the ground. Everywhere across the galaxy, including in the ship of Celestia & Luna, watched in horror as Sombra had the galaxy's newest hero in his grasp. "Attention Equestria! This is your new ruler, King Sombra, bringing you a simple message: surrender to me now, or face my wrath!!!"

"Don't surrender! He's nothing more than a wannabe ruler!"

"Just like how you're a wannabe hero!? You see, this, right here, is what will happen when you don't wish to follow me!" Sombra made two crystals grow from the ground, one of them growing & holding Spike's feet, and two more pillars extending out & holding his hands in place. Ten Doppelgangers, five in front and five in the back, stood around the trapped Draco. "The Doppelgangers now follow me! We outnumber you all easily, and this is what will happen to all rebels & all of you wannabe heroes. READY!!!" The Doppelgangers all pulled out different weapons. "AIM!!!" The Doppelgangers all aimed their weapons at Spike, who began to sweat very hard.

Come on Twilight!!! He yelled in his head Now's a good time for you to show up! A moments of silence fell with the exception of Spike on the verge of hyperventilating.

"Fire." And, just like that, multiple shots were heard, as well as sharp pains pierced his scale covered skin! Spike's vision began to blur, as he felt himself fall to the floor! Sombra leaned down to him, looking at Spike's now dying face.

"You... won't... get away... with this." Spike spoke weakly.

"I plan to not to." Sombra got up and kicked Spike, rolling him over to right side. Spike only saw in a blurry vision, Sombra walking away with his Doppelganger army, as a ship landed in front of home & took the tyrant in. Spike was alone, hearing only the wind pass by and his own now slowly beating heart. He blinked rather slowly, each time, his vision got weaker.

"There he is!"a woman's voice yelled. Spike reopened his eyes & struggled to keep them open. He only was what was pink high heels & black boots. He could probably tell that, dying has made him near deaf on everything that was spoken around him.

"There's no way he'll make it!" another voice responded, this one not sure if male or female.

"We know that, but project Phoenix will help him out." The obvious woman's high heels walked to him, followed by her kneeling to him. He wish he could see her face, but this woman placed her hands over his eyes and shut them for him "Shh... rest now, commander Spike, you're going to need it when you get up. Not wanting to fight anymore, Spike heart slowed, his nerves were now gone, and soon, everything went silent. Commander Spike of Division M6, died that day.
