Dear Readers,
I apologize for not updating sooner, but i have had a terrible case of writers block, and have had exams until earlier this week, so now i'm updating the story again, so as always, ON WITH THE CHAPTER!

P.S. i have now finished designing the light form's body, but shall not reveal the complete version just yet :P

Chapter 10

-_Cave home place that i shall now call the cave of origin, right after chapter 9_-

Upon exiting the darkness into the cave i call 'home,' I noticed it seemed a little empty. I shouted out for Aqua and Shade, when neither responded I walked/limped to the mouth of the cave, and saw 4 sets of footprints leading away from the cave, two I instantly recognized as Aqua's and Shade's shoes, but the other two were obviously human, but didn't belong to anyone i know, this left me curious, and utterly baffled, i mean we are the only hu-

Right then, my mind decided to begin to work, Oh wait, i thought, face-palming all the way they must be the footsteps of the other humans, who i think the wisp said... oh shit, are they trying to find others and force them to help awaken discord?!

Upon thinking this, i switched into my dark mode, and flew at my maximum speed (dark flight stabilizers ftw) right above the footsteps, to a point where they suddenly stopped, I looked around for more footsteps, or any sign as to which way they went. After a good thirty seconds of looking around, i heard something laugh above me, and i turned just in time to see a club hitting me in the face.

"Ugh, where am I?" was the first thing that escaped my lips when i awoke, i then remembered what had happened, and jumped up, opening my eyes to see where I was: i was in a cage, a few miles away from the mountain Canterlot sits upon. I heard a voice shout "Oi, Syth! The bastard woke up!" Followed by the sound of someone approaching from behind, I spun around to see a black unicorn, and a woman, with deep orange eyes, like two rising suns, she had silky, strait green hair, worn in a side ponytail, which i find a little weird. Her skin was a healthy red, and she was a little taller than me. She wore an outfit that seemed to be a bunch of cloths thrown together, and on her feet she wore ordinary sandals. I must admit though, that even though she knocked me unconscious, i do find her a little... i guess attractive would be the best word for the situation.

Upon her approach, i looked down, and immediately understood why i was in a cage: i was in my dark form. I looked up again at the approaching woman, and said, "Before you say a-"

"SHUT UP DEMON," she shouted at me, causing me to nearly black out again, oh, and my ears were bleeding. She continued with, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THIS WORLD? IT WAS PEACEFUL BEFORE YOU SHOWED UP!"

"I could say the same to you!" I yelled back, "I'm not even a real demon! I just change into this form when i use my power! Watch." I then began to slowly meld back into my neutral form.

Upon sight of the start of my transformation, she drew a small knife from her back, and dropped into an attack stance. But slowly left the stance as she saw my wings fold back into my body, my skin color going to normal, etc. Then, i got a 'devilish' idea, and began to channel the light only, i felt a rather different pair of wings sprout from my back, white an feathered, along with my hair growing, which turned white from what i could see, wherever i looked seemed to brighten on sight, and i also grew a few inches taller. I looked at my captor, and gave a warm smile. In immediate response, she dropped to one knee, and said, "forgive me for threatening you, great one." This pushed me over the edge, and i began to laugh at the top of my lungs.

"Oh, that was worth it," i said between laughs, "I never said i was an angel either, but i sort of am the one who brought you here."

"Wait, what?" she said, standing up again "what do you mean you brought me here?"

"Well," I began, "according to the wisp that brought me here, my arrival created ripples between dimensions or something, those ripples woke something up, which created more ripples, which led to more cross dimensional traveling, which is creating more ripples, which are soon going to awaken Discord, and it dosent help that one of the four humans that were dropped here is TRYING to wake him up, the idiot. Does that answer your question?" She seemed a bit shaken by the last bit, but was calm, and ready to respond.

"Yes, but now i have more questions."

"Which are?"

"First: who and what are you? second: what did you wake up?"

I sighed, "I only know the answer to the first one, I am Lumos the human, my ability is the control of light and darkness, as you can see, my physical appearance is directly controlled by how much of each i use at any given instant." After a moment i added, "Lumos isn't my real name, its more of a code name thats based off what my power is, me and two others don't use our real names around each other, and you are?"

"you know, i never considered using a fake name, but I've used my real name enough that it would only hinder me to use a fake one." She fixed her posture a little and gave an overdone bow, saying, "My name is Claire. That's all I've used and it's all I will use. I am from Canada, and am religious, so could you please exit that body."

I looked down and blushed a little, seeing that i had forgotton to change back, as i reverted, i asked, "So, I'm going to assume that you have a power too, as everyone I've met so far has had one, so whats yours? Aqua can control and create water, and Shade can do the same with smoke."

She looked at me, and began, "I-"

*BOOOOoOOoM*

I looked off to the side, and saw a rather odd explosion coming from Canterlot in the distance:

Akward... i thought, Wait... that dosent happen naturally... i think, so it probably one of three things, one: discord has escaped, two: his power is leaking out in a rather amusing way, or three, it is a natural occurance, i'm going to go with the first or second one for now, and if it is the third... I shuddered, and began to focus on creating my dark thrusters, i added some light tracker discs to it, blasted open the cage i was in, and said a single thing before i took off for the city:

"Follow me,"

After note: I AM NOW A VEGETARIAN! In other news, i will for a little bit only be updating my stories on this site, and not on Fanfiction.net Anyway, next going to be a bit less boring for those who actually like the story. Madman 12435/Cloud Nova Falling Out.
