----POV Blood Cleaver----So, I now have a student of my own. Gosh, how time flies. I thought to myself as I went further into the woods to find what I was looking for. It would take some time on foot so I instead decided to fly, I kept low as I didn’t want to cause a disturbance in case any of the ponies saw me. Ponies, as anthromorphs they still called themselves ponies. Weird.

I flew around the forest until I found a clearing that wasn’t too far away from our current camp but still far enough to not be found by Zecora if she was out to gather ingredients in the Everfree. A remotely out of the way place with an open area, only a few trees in the way.

I quickly got rid of the trees and grass after confirming that no animals had their home in the clearing. I flattened the ground and made sure it was sturdy and easy to stand on. I was making a special training ground. After that I unpacked some of my equipment and made sure we had all necessities nearby, like drinking water, food and the training equipment. I nodded to myself. It was quite the camp, even if it was only for two weeks… Two weeks, I didn’t like that. I had nothing against sleeping under the stars, but two weeks in the Everfree was bound to bring rain. We would also require shelter from wind and a few other elements of the forest.

I began assembling a shelter to protect us from weather and wind. Made sure to flare my aura some to keep away predators that could feel power levels like I could.

Seemingly done I looked up at the sun to see how long I had been setting it all up. I surprised myself by apparently having set everything up within an hour. Maybe I had time to check out the local Ponyville?

----POV Silver----

Both rainbow and I chatted between ourselves as we walked out of the forest. I told her about Cleaver, though not by much, and how she will be helping me train. I didn't tell her about my powers since, well you know, the whole Satan thing. But, I did tell her that she was a old friend that I haven't seen in a while.

“So anyway, after I was getting torn apart by the wood wolves and I was on the brink of death she came by, warded the things off and healed me with a damn bean.” She looked at me like I was crazy. “Its true!”

“Uh-huh, sure” I nudged her with my elbow and made an unhappy face. “Ah, shut up. So when will you be back?” she asked as we broke clear of the forest to see Ponyville in the night’s glory.

“Umm, around two weeks. Maybe more. It just depends on how well I learn and how much I can learn in general” I sighed to myself. “Its funny, back home I wouldn't even dream of exercise. Now I'm training with a master.” she made a snort at this.

“Come on, you expect me to believe that you did no exercise at all?” I looked to her and smirked.

“Believe what you want RD. I ain't stopping you.” We made our way towards the library since they are still there. Some of the ponies were still out and about, even at this time. It was...calm. I enjoyed it. Anyway we made it to the library and I opened the door. They were all still there and looked at us. I immediately spotted Twi and I spoke up before anyone else could.

“Listen Twi, I’m sorry I was rude earlier. I didn’t realise that you needed the Temptaint to see them at the time.” She shook her head dismissively.

“It’s okay. No harm was meant.” She smiled after saying this. “I’m just glad that you're okay and here with us again.” I mentally winced.

“Yeah, about that. I’ll be leaving for a bit. But don’t worry I’ll be coming back.” They all ‘awwed’ at this. They must be really friendly to miss me like that.

“But I didn’t even throw you a ‘welcome to ponyville’ party yet” Pinkie said saddened by that fact. ‘Should i tell her about Cleaver or wait a bit?’ I thought, unsure of what to do.

Suddenly the door to the library opened up again, and there she stood. Blood Cleaver. But before anyone could say anything she turned towards Pinkie Pie and spoke. “Yes Pinkie, I’m new here. To answer your questions the answers are the same as what you would answer if someone asked you. Except that my favorite colors are black and purple.” She then addressed the whole group. “Hello, my name is Blood Cleaver and I’ll be Silver’s trainer for an undetermined amount of time in the near future. Nice to meet you all.” She said as she bowed.

Twi looked between Pinkie and Cleaver wondering how on Equus this was possible. Well, thats what I would expect of her. “Wait, what? What’s going on and why do you look like Pinkie?”

“Wow, is everyone in this world so perceptive?” She asked back, looking at Silver. “I would imagine the lack of fur and flat hair and black color would make it harder.... But to answer your question as simply as I can put it, I once went by the name Pinkamena Diane Pie. I’m from an alternate Equestria where all ponies are humans instead.” She quickly concluded.

“Wait, what do you mean other universes? They were all closed during the war of the alicorns to reduce damage to the cosmos.”

“Don’t you mean dimensions? I’m speaking about the whole universe, ever heard of the multiverse theory? The stuff about how every single action creates an alternate reality where you did something else? That’s what I meant.” Blood explained.

“Oh. Well, that still doesn't explain how you got here.” she spoke as a counter speech. ‘God damn it Twi, just drop it!’ I thought.

“Once again I’m going to explain this as simply as I can. I’m something known as a Displaced. Just like Silver. Us Displaced usually come from alternate realities where Equestria doesn't exist. But something that most Displaced discover in one way or another is that they can create tokens. Tokens are small items that spread between realities and let Displaced call upon each other in times of need or when they just want to chat. That reminds me, Silver. Remind me to help you create a token later on.” Blood explained.

“Silver, you're a Displaced?” Fluttershy asked me.

“Yep, apparently my mind got switched, but Cleaver said that the new memories were technically real.”I explained, silently thanking Cleaver about not mentioning the powers that I had.

“Now, with all that out of the way I would like to know if anyone wants to take a trip to Sugar Cube Corner. I’m starving for some cupcakes.” Blood interrupted.

“Here, here!” I agreed.

“Oh, we don't need to go all the way there! I’ll just open my stash” Wait, what did she say? Before I could vocalize my question she pressed on one of the books and the entire bookshelf opened, letting a mountain of cupcakes fall out. ‘Warning! Warning! Mind fuckary has reached over nine THOUSAND!’ No, but seriously how did she do that?

Blood Cleaver seemed completely unaffected by this turn of events and was already eating from the cupcakes. “These are really good. But they still got nothing on the Diabeetus bombs I once made with my sister.” She said before eating another cupcake.

“Oh, I’ve got one of those!” Pinkie dove into the pile of baked goods and resurfaced with a ‘Diabeetus bomb’ and threw it to Cleaver. The only thing I could do was stare into space as Shy waved a hand in front of me. The bomb in question looked like a cupcake with patches of different colored frosting.

Cleaver swiftly caught the treat and looked at it for a while before looking both disappointed and glad at the same time. “It’s not the same as the one I made with my sister, but it looks delicious.” She said and ate it.

Finally, I snapped out of it and looked between them before shrugging and picking one up and started to eat it. “Do you mind giving me a copy of the recipe for the bomb?” Pinkie asked Blood.

“Sorry, I don’t have the complete recipe, my sister has the other half and we agreed to never bake them unless there was a special occasion. Believe it or not, they would be too sweet even for you Pinkie. We didn’t sleep for a week after eating them. So therefore, I don’t think it’s a good idea.” Blood told Pinkie.

“I call BS for the ‘not sleeping for a week’ thing!” I proclaimed as I bit into another cupcake. This time, apple flavour.

“Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” She said, crossing her heart with a finger and then smacking a cupcake into her face. Then looked smugly in my direction with the cupcake still on her face.

A loud gasp came from Mt. cupcake over there before it exploded sending cake and frosting everywhere. “That means it’s true, and trust me nopony breaks a pinkie promise.” Pinkie explained.

“Well then I hope I never have to break a promise from you.” Something about her when she explained it made my blood run cold.

“Thanks for the cupcakes Pinkie. But I think it might be time for me and Silver to retreat and start the training. I already got everything set up in a clearing in the Everfree so we’re good to go.” Blood said as she finished up one last cupcake.

I looked at the cupcake in my hand for a few moments before sighing and got up. “Well, I guess this is goodbye for now.” I told my new….friends. I’ll be honest, I’m a little sad. Fluttershy walked over to me and hugged me with her arms and wings.

“Goodbye Silver” she said before releasing me from her grip. I smiled and nodded at her and the rest of my friends.

“Lets go,” I said before turning towards the door and walking out with Blood following behind.

“See ya girls after Silver’s training.” Blood said before closing the door behind us. “Okay, without flying it’ll take us a while to get there so we should get going now. Follow me.” She said as she took of in the direction of the Everfree.

“Hey! Wait up!” I shouted after her before running towards her. It didn't take long before I was next to her, hell I even went further than her and slammed into a tree. ‘Wait, I reached the tree line already?! Jesus, I need to control myself.’

“Okay, you know what, this will take to long. Transition!” She yelled out and spun around. As I was about to ask her what she was doing I noticed that we were now standing in a clearing in the middle of the Everfree.

“Da, fuck?” I asked before rubbing a sore spot on my forehead. “Ow, you know what, I don't care.”

“And neither should you. So here we are. This is where we’ll be staying for the time of your training.” Blood said and reached out with her arms to show me the clearing.

I whistled as I looked around the clearing. “Big place.” I stated before unclipping my holster and hanging it on a branch and placed some clips on a sawed tree stump.

“So, now I’ll just need to assess your abilities and we can then let the training begin.” Blood said, standing there fully equipped with training clothes, sweat bands and a whistle.

“Okay.” I slipped of my sword and removed the cover, exposing the blue metal sheath. “So, what first?”

“Everything, you try and attack me while I dodge and assess your abilities. Don’t worry, I’ll be able to dodge, and even if I can’t it’s no biggie. Feel free to fight with or without the sword. You’ll have to learn both.” She said as she took a stance that said “Come at me.”

“Hmm, I think I’ll try without my sword.” I put my sword on the ground and leaned it against a tree. I cracked my knuckles before running at her. But, I’m not stupid I’ll go with a plan. I prepared a simple attack and tried to punch her. She dodged as planned and I faked to go further. but instead of falling over, I placed a foot on the tree behind her. My other foot was placed before I sprung from the tree and roundhouse kicked her in the back. Only to discover that I was kicking air, my foot sailing through an exact copy of her.

I landed on the ground and bits of dirt exploded around me. I was honestly expecting for some mortal combat music to start. Instead we got a montage of me trying to hit my teacher while she was dodging my every move.

“God damn it hold still!” I swiped at her again only instead of a punch a jet of flames came from my hand. the flame just barely touched her. Well I did burn a bit of her clothes. My victory was short lived as I noticed that she was, of all the things, sleeping!

“Wait, what? She can do this shit in her sleep?” I tested this out by picking up a small rock and threw it at her. And she did the impossible, she dodged it! “Right, that’s it I’m getting my sword.”

At the mentioning of sword Blood suddenly woke up. She stretched her body and yawned. “Sure thing. But I’ll be blocking as well as dodging then.” She said, as if she hadn’t been asleep.

“You suck, you know that?” I walked over to my sword. Picked it up and pushed it in front of me sideways before grabbing the handle. I pulled on it and slowly my sword was pulled out. As I moved it to my right side it left a trail of flame. Like before my body was consumed in flame. My tail sprung out and instead of a poofy end, it was a split tail with fire at the end where the fur used to be. My pupils turned from a black colour to a deep red as my horns grew longer, and my teeth sharpened. the blade glowed blue and flames covered said blade. I wielded my katana, sword, whatever with both hands.

“Has anyone told you how absolutely awesome you look like that?” Blood Cleaver asked.

“No, but I already know that I look awesome. If by watching the series is anything to go by.” I replied. I twirled the blade in one hand before getting into an attack stance.

“You really need to help me get some of the dvd’s then. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the Dragonball series to get a better understanding of my powers, but have yet to stumble upon them, what series are you from?” Blood asked, getting ready for me with her own stance, one different from before.

“I’m from the series called Blue Exorcist. Its really good to watch.” I answered as we began to circle each other. “Hmm, now I wonder if something from the movie will happen some time?”

“It’s possible. We actually had the Dragon balls. However they were the crappy black star ones and no one dared to use them. Some idiot even decided to blow them up.” Blood replied.

“Did it work?” I asked before launching myself towards her. I lifted my blade and when I was close enough I brought it down upon her. But she blocked it with a piece of thick wood that appeared out of nowhere. We were like that for a few moments before she answered.

“No, the Dragon balls only got sent far and wide over Equus, one of them however fell into another universe and was forever lost. So we don’t have to worry about anyone using them at least.” She then jumped up and landed behind me, backflipping as she did.

I dolphin dived in front of me before rolling to my feet and faced her.“Well, it would suck if it ended up here.” I ran at her again to do a vertical swipe. She rolled to the left and I ended up cutting the tree in half, flames licking the side of the trunk.

“Nah, I tracked it down to a version of your Earth where humans had switched places with ponies, but no pegasi or unicorns. The ball itself ended up at the bottom of the sea. Some place called the Bermuda triangle or something.” Blood said, completely unfazed by the remains of the tree.

“The Bermuda triangle? There are legends from my universe that say that the Bermuda triangle is a gateway to another world.” I twirled the sword twice before getting ready for another attack. ‘Hmm, I wonder.” I directed some of my energy to my blade and made a horizontal swing. I realised my energy that was pent up in the blade and sent a wave of fire towards her.

Blood Cleaver could easily have dodged the fire, but she instead stood her ground and made the fire dissipate as it was about to hit her. She had flared her own aura and as the fire collided with her, the result got the fire extinguished. “Let’s hold off the ranged fire attacks, we don’t want to start a forest fire.” She said, gesturing towards the rest of the trees.

I was panting a bit. “Yeah, sorry. I wanted to see if I could do that.” I dug the blade in the ground and leaned on it. “Just give me a sec. That took a bit out of me.”

“I guess we could take a couple of minutes of rest.” Blood replied. “We might also talk about a few things I noticed. For example: You’re good at using your surroundings to your advantage, but the amount of time you use to note your surroundings is a bit long. You gave me plenty of opportunities to strike back. Also, the time you drove me to the patch of softer dirt was commendable.” She said, surprising me as she must have already been asleep at the time.

As she told me about what she learned about my movements and such I slid the sword into the sheath, deactivating my power. The flames disappeared and I returned to normal. I sat on a small stump and listened to her as she continued to explain. ‘Wait, what did she mean softer dirt?’

“Also, I noticed that with your tail out you seem more mobile, you were able to turn slightly faster and were able to pull a few more accurate strikes. But the tail is also a problem, I imagine that as many other creatures your tail would be quite sensitive and if someone was to catch you by your tail it could get problematic. The fires are a great offence as well as a great defence, but you need to learn to suppress or stoke them however you wish. This would give you great advantages over your opponent.” She continued to tell me about what she found. Offering me a cup of tea as I listened.

I took the cup and thanked her. “Yeah, apparently the tail is a demon’s weakness. Well that and the heart. And I can’t exactly control the fire at the moment. I mean, if i get pissed off enough the flames just activate immediately. I don't know, however, if the flames on my body can hurt others or not.” I then took a small gulp of the tea. letting the honeyed flavour liquid wash over my taste buds.

“I can think of a few methods to help you with the flame control. As to the fighting, I think we’ll have to prioritize your ability to see your surrounding out of the corners of your eyes so that your eyes don’t leave the opponent. We’ll have some non-combat related training as well. I will help you with many of these. If you wish to change or optimize the training to fit you more specifically you’ll have to tell me. I’m only teaching you what I know and I don’t know a lot about your powers. Heck, we might even learn stuff that wasn’t in the series, stuff you didn’t know.” Blood continued telling me what she thought.

“Hmm, I think the most important thing that I need is my movement, noticing my surroundings and to control my flame incase something bad happens. Then later, develop the others.” I would prefer not to roast my friends thank you.

“That is completely understandable. I think I’ll prioritize the ability to control your flames. If I’m correct in assuming that the flames work similar to my aura or ki then I can help you control it with a certain trick, and if you can obtain as much or more control over it as I have over my ki you could probably even create solid fire.” Blood told me as she finished her cup of tea.

“That would be cool. Creating fire that I can hold.” As I thought of what I could do with that kind of power my, tail twitched a few times. “So, I feel better. Want to continue training?” I asked her after finishing my tea.

I barely managed to catch the senzu bean she threw at me. “That my dear Silver wasn’t training. The real training begins now!” She said as I just about swallowed the bean and felt all my energy refilled. Damn these beans are useful. As I once again engaged Blood Cleaver in combat. This time trying to avoid her attacks as well as trying to attack her. And so my training officially began.
