Author's Notes:

Sorry if there is any spelling mistakes, it's quite late at night so if I screwed anything up let me know so I can change it.

We stood there staring at each other before we heard a rumble. I look at my stomach before blushing and realised how long I had gone without food. “O-oh dear, you must be hungry just let me go make something to eat. Meanwhile, you can sit down there.” She finishes by pointing at an oak wood table set with wooden chairs. I was about to protest but by the time I looked back in front of me I caught a glimpse of Fluttershy's tail ducking into the doorway.

Sighing I made my way over to the chair, took the sword off my back and placed it onto the ground while leaning it on one of the legs of the table. I have a look around the room. The room itself was wooden with little mini staircases, which was probably used for smaller animals to travel around in. There were also little bird houses decorating the room which I thought were ornaments but I was proven wrong when a small bird poked it's head out to look at me curiously.

My eyesight found a small white rabbit that was glaring at me and tapping its foot impatiently. “The fuck you want?” The rabbit blew a raspberry at me before showing me the back of its paw and hopped off to god knows where. ‘Wait, did that fucking thing just flip the bird at me!?’

Shy made her way back into the room with a bowl in her hands and a pepper shaker tucked in with her wing. She made her way towards the table and placed the bowl and shaker on said table before sitting down. “Thanks Fluttershy, but you don't need to give me anything.” She shakes her head.

“No, it's okay. I just want to help you and I couldn’t leave you out there when it's about to rain.” I give a toothy smile which shows my fangs…..it was a shitty move to make. As she looks like she just saw a ghost. I give her a confused look to which she says, “Y-you’re not going to hurt me are you?”

“Hurt you? Why would I hurt you?” She points to my teeth and I run a finger along the top row of my teeth and catch it on my fang. I pull it away and a small bead of blood slowly begins to form. Not wanting to speak my new secret I quickly make a lie. “Oh this? Uhh, it’s a birth defect. I had them since I was five I think? Yeah.”

“Oh. Umm, sorry for bringing it up.” She looked at me and grimaced but I waved her off while shaking my head.

“Nah, don't worry about it.” I look into the bowl and viewed its contents. It was a simple salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and salad dressing. It looked pretty damn good that's for sure. I lifted a big pile of it and placed it on Shy’s plate. When she gave a thankful nod I smiled again but this time not showing my teeth. No need to put her off her food.

The salad itself was fresh and crispy. It was the best that I have ever had but sadly it was gone shortly after I ate the first bit. But that was when Fluttershy spoke up.“So if I may ask. What are you? I mean you’re definitely not a pony. That is, you don't have to answer! I was just curious.”

“I'm a human, not a pony. As you can see I don't have a tail.” ‘Well, not that you can see.’ “And we are omnivores, but before you ask no I don't eat pony meat.” She sighed in relief. I reached up and scratched the back of my head, only to dig my nails in when thunder roared at the sky. Shy also seemed to be frightened as she instantly shot underneath the table. Then the gentle pitter-patter of the rain was heard from nearly every window.

It was a comforting sound. Well, at least to me anyway. I felt all my muscles relax, the sound and the lowering of the humidity made me a little sleepy. Well, I know for a fact that the coal tars love this.

Fluttershy peaked up from the table, only showing the top of her head and her deep blue eyes. ‘I swear you’re going to kill me with your cuteness’ I think to myself. “Oh my goodness. It's really starting to pour down. Umm, do you have any where to sleep?” When I shook my head she frowned. “Oh. Well, you can, ah, sleep here if you want.”

It was my turn to blush. Don't know why though. “N-no I don’t want to be a burden on you. Hell, you already gave me dinner. I couldn’t ask any more of you.” That's when we heard it. It was low, barely above the hearing range but we heard it. It was laughter. No, not laughter, more like growling or snarling. It steadily grew louder and louder. Fluttershy and I rose from our chairs, she slowly walked towards me, fear in her eyes. “Is there anything in here other than your animals and the coal tars?” I asked her. She shook her head and I placed a hand on my gun, flipping the latch so I could pull it out at a moments notice.

A pipe on the wall suddenly burst open and demons came out. They were hobgoblins, demons of mischief. Their body were green and arms red, three horns jutted out from its forehead. I pulled the gun out, aimed it at them, pulled back the hammer and fired five shots. Three of those five hit the goblins and killed them. Their bodies vanished in a pile of black smoke. Four more came out of the wall, making total of eight. Three more shots were fired, killing three in the process. I pulled the trigger one last time before having to reload.

With an absent mind I released the magazine and slammed the base of the gun on my belt where a second clip was. I cocked the gun and fired at the last five remaining demons, each bullet hitting its mark. After the last demon died I clicked the safety on and placed it back into its holster. I turned towards Fluttershy, who was in a corner shivering. I walked up to her, crouched down and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Shy. You’re okay now, the demons are gone.”

The second I said that she latched onto me, her head and muzzle buried into my neck as she began to cry endlessly. I closed my eyes and hugged her as she continued to release her tears into my shirt. Her soft fur ticked me as she nuzzled me. “P-please stay. *sniffle* I don't want them to come back.” She managed to squeak out. We stayed like this for what seemed like hours just losing myself in her embrace. Strangely her mane smelled like roses. Like that wasn't creepy enough.

After a while she began to loosen up and released me from her vice like grip. She sniffled a few more times before we decided to call it a night. She showed me to a guest room (that was right next to hers, which I could understand) that I could spend the night in. It looked like the the rest of the house, little staircases and wooden bird houses littered the wall but it was really beautiful. The bed mattress was plain white and a pink sheet was thrown onto it. I took the sword, that I picked up before heading up the stairs, and placed it on the wall next to it. I removed the holster and gun and placed it on the table next to the bed as well as three clips that had appeared about of nowhere.

I removed my coat and hung it on a peg behind the door. As I walked towards the bathroom I unbuttoned my shirt and threw it haphazardly onto the floor as well as my trousers, my tail springing out. All I had on was a bra and panties which I was going to remove before getting into the shower. Speaking of which………

I turned on the tap and received a blast of warm water. Giving it a few seconds I slipped my underwear off and flung them to the side, reaching back I gave my bra a quick tug and let it fall to the floor. I stood there stretching in the nude and smiled as my back cracked a bit. Stepping into the shower, I let the now considerably hot water blast my skin, just letting everything wash away.

Forty minutes later

I stood there looking at a mirror wearing a set of pyjamas and just staring at my reflection. My ears were now a bit pointy, looking like an elf. I pulled a few of Legolas’s moves before opening my mouth and took a look at my new teeth. My original teeth are now sharper but not by much. I had four fang like teeth, which looked awesome. Looking out of the bathroom I checked if Fluttershy was about before trying to activate my power. But nothing happened. I focused, trying harder to activate it but still nothing happened. "Come on! Work god damnit!" Suddenly I was engulfed in a thin layer of blue flames as well as two flame like horns protruding from the top of my head. My pupils turned from their naturally black colour to a deep red as well as shrinking a bit.

"Oh shit, calm down, calm down." After a few minutes of slow breathing and trying to calm down my powers deactivated. Thinking it was time to sleep I trudged over towards the bed before falling face first into the pillows and dragged the cover over me. I sighed as I slowly left the realm of the living and fell into the realm of dreams. Wait, how the fuck did I fire my gun?
