Chapter 1: Orvosti Ostoba- La Spinta Verso la Caduta

Orvosti Ostoba- La Spinta Verso la Caduta

Orvosti Ostova, like always in that time of the day, was laying in his bed shifting around, crinkling sounds coming from him as he rolled himself under the blue blanket and mumbled gibberish to himself.

His rest was soon interrupted by the sound of the door opening with a squeak and the sound of hooves on a hard surface.

"Orvy, honey, wake up." The delicate voice of a mare spoke, causing  to flutter his eyes open, and see Arma Smussata, her mother, shape stand against the light coming from the hallway, making her look like a Chinese shadow.

"One minute mommy." He said, as he rubbed his eyes groggy "Me still a bit sweepy."

Orvosti's mother, after waiting a few moments, walked near the window in the room, pulled a string for pull up the shutter thusly inundating the room with light, and then she pulled the covers away from  body, causing him to squirm a little.

"Let's move now," She said, pulling  delicately out of the bed by his scruff and giving a quick check to his (clean) diaper in the meanwhile "there is something important we have to do today, son."

"Wat is dat?" He asked, a third tired, a third curious and a third annoyed, as he stretched his little forelegs, and darted his eyes around his light blue-and-green room color-schemed room.

"Princess Celestia wants us at her Palace," she said with a tone that tried to transmit sweetness but failed to do so, as she walked out of the room "she said she had to talk with me and you about something."

Orvosti felt his heart stop for a second at those words, as he kept walking behind his mother without thought

"What? Princess Celestia wants me? Why? Did I do something wrong? What did I do?"  thought as he walked forward "And what she will do to me? Maybe she will..."

He shook his head violently, as  put on her head a purple feathered hat taken from a bronze coat hanger near the door, and set her legs on the padded supports of her wheelchair made of poplar, copper structure and brass spokes.

"Ask it to mom, no? After all, she knows best!" He thought, as he turned his head to meet his mother's eyes for ask. "Mommy, why awe we going? Am I in twoubwe?"

Arma Smussata sniffed, as she opened the door and went down the ramp leading into the garden.

"I don't know, however, I'm sure you haven't done something wrong, and I can tell you for sure this is not a punishment for you. Understood?" She said in a tone that lingered on the border between a harsh and a sweet one, thus causing  to force himself to accept the answer as final and not to be discussed.

The colt and his mother kept walking for a long while thought the town, crowds upon crowd of ponies going about the streets. The sheer number caused   and  to almost separate a couple of times, to much of Orvosti's terror.

However, at the end of the walk, he  was still at his mother's side.

Once the colt lifted his head from the ground for look in front of him, in front of himself he saw four armour-clad and sword-wielding guard ponies standing in front of an iron gate leading into the Royal Gardens.

"Those guard look pretty cool,"  thought, looking at them as they put in front of the gate, two of them crossing swords and wings, the other two getting near Orvosti's mother "they have  over all their body, for talking out loud! I bet that nothing can hurt them, covered like that! In fact... I would like to have one! Maybe mom can..."

Before he could finish his thought, his mother poked his left should.

"Let's keep going, Orvosti, dear." She said, taking  left hoof and pulling him forward along with her wheelchair.

As the colt immediately started to walk again without any thought, he noticed that the guards had put themselves at the sides of the path, their weapons near their armored bodies and their left hooves up for the military salute. This sight made  chuckle a little as he passed between the four armed ponies.

The Royal Garden was wondrous. It contained, in the middle of the low grass. There were red and white roses put in hedges shaped like some kind of shield, with the red roses begin clearly more than the white ones. Daisies were placed in a line very near to the stone path around the castle proper. There were many bronze, stone and marble statues around, standing atop of pillars with complicated  engravings. Vines enveloping a wooden structure made for what it looked a veranda for outside banquets and general formal parties. Near said veranda, there was the main entrance, a huge brass door with scenes representing the history of Equestria, from its founding, where all tribes met and decided to unite themselves under one banner, to somewhere between the Banishment of Nightmare Moon and the current day.

Arma Smussata, while pointing at the small steps in-between the door and the ground, turned around to her son and said.

"Orvosti, please help me pass these stairs."

"Suwe, mommy," he said, putting himself behind the wheelchair "I can do ."

Naturally,  begin a little colt, his little hooves failed to push the wheelchair forward up the stairs, just moving it and  body forward a little and with a lot of sweat pouring from  forehead. As  momentarily took her legs off the supports for get the wheelchair moving, she turned around.

"Are you okay, son? Are you sure you can do that?" She said, as he grunted and kept his hooves on the back of the wheelchair as fixed as javelins jabbed inside a shield.

"No, I can do dis, mommy, just..." he grunted a little harder, as the wheel hit a step again, only to be pushed back weakly.

"Let it go," she said, as she pulled the wheelchair forward with her freed rear legs and her hind ones up the marble stairs. "Still, nice try."

"Tank  yoo mommy." He said panting as he also walked up the steps to the door proper, where , after putting her legs and tail inside the wheelchair, pushed the door inwards, opening it. Inside, on the gray stone floor, there was a soft red carpet stretching for all the alley's length. At the sides of the carpet, vases, statues and paintings decorated it all.

All these things combined together made Orvosti stop more than once for look at them, asking what they were or what the figures painted/ sculpted represented, only be answered with a pull and a "Don't stop, I will tell what's that to you later" from his mother.

And so, after navigating through the richly-furnished alleys, he and his mother finally reached the open bronze door leading the inside of the throne room, where, at the sides, in the space in-between the simple columns, some armed guards stood in position. The throne in itself was atop of a staircase.

Orvosti caught the glimpse of two red-robed ponies walking outside the room from a side door, but, before he could properly identify those two ponies, the Princess' solemn voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Oh, welcome, Ma'am Arma. I was waiting just for you and your son." Princess Celestia said, as she got up slowly, for then flutter with her wings down the stairs, all while Arma bowed along with her young son "I think that we should hold out meeting in a more... private environment."

Orvosti backed down a little at the sight, before instinctively clinging to the right hind hoof of his mother. However, his clinging was short-lived, as  moved said hoof forward, forcing   the grip, and move at  side to follow Princess Celestia to the red door behind the throne on the left side of the room.

"Wait, why Princess Celestia doesn't make me meet her in the throne room?" He thought, as he walked down at his mother's side, inside the dark alley with its floor covered in a washed-out red carpet.

"Well, that's kinda a dumb question to ask..." he noticed that Celestia had stopped in front of a bronze door with sun-shaped handles.  also noticed that Princess Celestia was wearing a kind of grin he had never seen, one that appeared to stretch up until her ears, showing off all her teeth, like a hungry predator giving the very last sight of their life to the prey. Also, the Princess' eyes slightly shone due to something Orvosti could not understand or know. These two factors made  him quiver and tremble slightly as he walked behind the squeaking wheelchair of his mother.

"Okay, maybe that isn't so stupid..." he thought, while Princess Celestia opened the door, and gestured for Arma and Orvosti to come in "she is looking at me weirdly."

"Ma'am, do you mind if I have a quick chat with your son only?" She asked.

"Not at all, Her Majesty." Arma said "Your words are my orders, after all."

This exchange made the colt perk up his ears and grab his mother's other leg with one of his hooves.

"Maybe she wants to... eat me?" He thought shivering, while looking at a chuckling Celestia, and felt his mother glaring at him. The former caused him to relax a little, as he thought "Actually... no. She doesn't look all that interested in swallowing me. But I think that I should play it safe, and stick with mom."

"Guess you are a mummy's boy, Orvy?" Princess Celestia said with a chuckle, as she stepped inside the room.

"Yes... he is."  Arma said with a sigh, before trailing into the room,  following very shortly after, and closing the door behind him.

The room was big. It had blue walls with golden frames containing a bronze symbol from each region of  as decoration, and each frame had the interval between them filled by a small bronze candelabra with two currently-alight candles each, dimly lighting the room. Turning his head around, Orvosti could also see a blue old-fashioned sofa just in front of an equally old-looking glass tea table with two blue pillow-chairs as additional seating. On the opposite side of the room, a fireplace in white ceramic and a copper birdcage on a tripod rested, along with piles upon piles of papyri, parchments and books proper put in an orderly fashion in a huge  wall bookcase. A painting of what it looked like a younger Luna stood in an empty space of said bookcase.

He was left in looking in awe to all of that majesty and luxury for what it appeared to be hours. His little mind was still trying to process everything, when Arma gently shook his shoulder.

"Morin calls Orvosti, Morin calls Orvosti. Are you here?"

The colt snapped his head towards her mother.

"Yes, mommy?" He asked.

"Actually,"  Arma said, slight annoyance in her voice "Princess Celestia is the one that wants you. Go to her."

Orvosti looked at Princess Celestia, who was smiling with her teeth wide out and nodding slowly. With a gulp, he gathered his courage and walked slowly towards the Princess.

"Orvosti, my young subject, now that I've had a nice conversation with your mother," she said in a slow and  calm tone "I want to exchange a few words with you."

Orvosti Ostoba stopped himself just before the table and looked at Celestia's eyes pleadingly, like a dog fearing to be caned until its back was broken.

"Yes?" He asked fearfully, causing Princess Celestia to put her left hoof over her mouth for cover her giggle.

"There is no need to fear me," she said, as she stopped giggling "I am going to hurt you. I just want to know something from you."

Orovsti started to fiddle with his front hooves, as he now looked down, averting his eyes for look down, and seeing that his diaper was yellower and larger than he remembered, meaning that the sheer nervousness and fear had made him wet his diaper, thusly only adding fuel to the fire of his embarrassment.

"Wat is it?" He asked, his face now red.

"Well, it's about one of your friends in Kindergarten..." She said with a voice expressing vagueness, as she rolled her eyes wearing an ambiguous smile.

"Oh no,"  thought, quivering little and squeaking "Is it about Rusty's mane? That was an accident!"

"Do you happen to know a filly whose name is Twilight Sparkle?" Princess Celestia said, her cheeks going a little red.

"Mmm... yes, I do, Pwincess" he said after sighing of relief "she is no fiwwy, she as big as mommy but she stiww in diaapes, dunno why."

"Right, right," she said with a chuckle, as she got up and moved a little closer to him. "I forgot. But, tell me, what does she likes to do? Does she has any favorite playmates? Maybe you?"

Orvosti scrunched his face up and blushed even more, when Princess Celestia booped his nose lightly.

"Aehm, no..." he murmured, still baffled from Celestia's sudden action, "Hew favouwite pwaymate is Lecs Popoulli. She pways wiff her often."

"And... does she has accidents sometimes?" Princess Celestia asked with a little blush. Orvosti, unsure for the reasons for that question, arched an eyebrow and reclined his head, before answering.

"I dunno. She doesn't have many accidents."

"Very well, thank you very much Orvosti," Princess Celestia said, as she turned her head to , who was idly looking at the decorations now.

"Ma'am, there is something I want to give you, now that I've got the information I wanted, and thought up a solution for myself and you." Princess Celestia said as she walked to the bookcase, where she took a pencil and a piece of paper "I shall write the necessary material."

And the princess did just that, by taking stylograph and paper and writing. When she was done, she gave the paper to Arma, who had been glaring at Orvosit due to his accident in the meanwhile.

When Arma and her son  left the room, she muttered about the books on the list.

"De Educatione Puellorum, "I Have a Foal in My Bed!" "De Pederastia of the latest edition." She murmured "I think I can try to look for them later..."
