Discord flew out of the old castle and found himself facing an old enemy. It was none other then Queen Luna. She and her sister had started the uprising of ponies who had overthrew him.

"Well, well, look who finally showed up! It's been a while Luna...."

The Queen of the Night grit her teeth. "DO NOT TEST OUR PATIENCE DISCORD! RETURN TWILIGHT TO US! ISN'T IT ENOUGH THAT THOU HAS TAKEN AWAY OUR SISTERS LIFE?"

Discord rolled his eyes. "Isn't it enough that you and your sister took away my kingdom and have forced me to fend for myself here in this rotting castle you and your sister once shared?" He said in a calm tone.

Luna narrowed her eyes. "You placed the entire kingdom in a state of unhappiness and destruction for almost two hundred years Discord!"

The Draconequus was a bit surprised seeing that the Queen had lost her 'Old English' speech.

"I prefer calling it 'reorganizing the place' or simply put chaos."

Then he noticed Prince Sombra standing behind the Queen. Discord smirked.

"I see you brought Prince Shadow......"

Luna growled. "Enough games Discord. I know you have Twilight Sparkle in your captivity, and I will not hesitate to fight you."

"Do you really wish to fight me Luna, I thought you ponies were all about love and harmony?"

Pushing Luna's temper over the edge the night Alicorn sent a beam of light from her horn towards the Draconequus who just barely dodged it. Her anger grew, and she sent three more beams towards him. One of them knocking Discord down. Luna was about to attack when Sombra interfered.

"Luna! Your power is greater, use it to find Twilight! I'll continue to fight this monster.."

At first Luna was hesitant, but she agreed. "Very well, but remember what I told you. You know what he can do, show no mercy....."

With that the blue Alicorn flew in through the doors. Just as Discord got up he noticed her enter, he wasn't too worried, Moonlight was powerful enough to face her if necessary. Now he had this thorn in his side to deal with.

"So Sombra? How does it feel, knowing Twilight's in there? Anything could be happening......"

The Prince began to use his magic to make small crystal shards appear. "Silence you beast!"

Using his magic he sent the crystal shards towards Discord, who only swatted them away.

"Is that the best you can do?" Discord asked smugly.

Prince Sombra sent more batches of crystals, these were bigger then the first and had much more density with very sharp ends. Which once again Discord was unharmed by.

"Better! Now let's see what you can really do with that power..... You want your Princess back don't you?"

And with that Sombra let all of his anger and rage forth.

"Twilight! Twilight!" Luna called desperately. Wherever Discord had hidden her, he had hidden her well.

The Queen started at the bottom of the castle where the dungeon was. It made the most sense as to where she would be hidden but to her dismay; Twilight was nowhere in sight. Next she tried the towers, which were indeed very old and were falling apart. There were mice everywhere! She searched every inch in all six towers but Twilight was still missing. The Queen was beginning to get very anxious and worried.

"TWILIGHT! Can you hear me!"

But there was still no answer. Suddenly a loud crash could be heard, Sombra and Discord were fighting hard. But even Luna knew Discord was more powerful then the Prince. She had to find Twilight fast! Next Luna checked the main floor, starting with the throne room. There she could see the spots where she and Celestia once sat. She looked behind everything, and even looked in very strange places, but this was Discord's realm now, and nothing made sense here. She moved into the hallway, and looked in every room. She even found Celestia's old bedroom, she had been given a large bedroom with a desk, many bookshelves, and large cozy bed. She could tell by the way it looked, this was now Discord's bedroom. The room was full of color, streamers and cotton candy clouds were everywhere. Some of the old books were open on the desk with a purple ink filled inkwell. As soon as Luna left the room she heard a small noise, she moved into the next room; it was her old bedroom. As a filly Luna had been given a very small room, but she had made it work, and made it even better then Celestia's. but now as she began to look into it, the room look old and not as wonderful as it had once been. Towards the side of the room she saw a pile of strangely colored blankets and lying in them was a midnight blue Alicorn.

"It can't be..." Queen Luna whispered.

Luna knew who that was. While Discord had ruled over Equestria, there had always been a blue Alicorn at his side. Moonlight Chaos...... She was his second in command. Luna remembered she always carried out his orders, she obeyed every command given, and had made sure Equestria was in total chaos. This pony was almost as awful as the one she served, she was practically almost half of Discord's power over Equestria. Luna noticed Moonlight looked upset, then she realized what was going on. Luna noticed Moonlight's eyes. They had the same look Twilight gave Sombra. That's when Luna realized what was happening, Moonlight Chaos was in love with Discord. Queen Luna smiled, she could use this pony to get her revenge, and be able to get Twilight back. Her anger consumed her, and she quietly snuck into the bedroom.

Discord was almost ready to finish Sombra off when a loud bang erupted from inside the old castle. Discord could see Moonlgt coming from the roof, she looked like she was trying to fly but she fell and skid along the ground. She was now only about ten feet away from Discord. Just then Luna burst out from the doors.

"Not another step Discord!"

Luna walked towards Moonlight and put her hoof on one of the Alicorns wings.

"Moonlight, what happened?" Discord asked.

Moonlight looked sad and said quietly, "She magically bound my wings together, I can't fly. And I can't use my magic either!"

Discord was mad. "Luna, let her go!"

Luna put her hoof down farther on Moonlight wing, causing her to wince.

"I have warned you Discord, return Twilight..... OR I SHALL DRAIN EVERY LAST BIT OF MAGIC SHE HAS INSIDE HER!"

Moonlight looked up at Discord. "Don't Discord! You love her, even without my power you can still rule Equestria!" Then the Alicorn stared at the ground. "I'm not worth it......"

"GIVE ME AN ANSWER DISCORD!" Luna barked.

Discord was silent, he had a very big choice to make. He could either let Luna drain the magic out of the one pony that cared about him, but still be with the one he cared about and have Equestria. Or he let the one he cared about go and still be with Moonlight in the rotting old castle. Moonlight didn't deserve either fates, but he was forced to chose for her.

It doesn't matter if I'm happy. I enjoy serving you, and being there to talk to you when you need me. Seeing you happy makes me happy. What matters to me is what makes YOU happy Discord.

"Discord, don't give in to her demands......" Moonlight insisted. "Don't do it for me......"

Discord narrowed his eyes. "No Luna."

The Queen shook her head. "So be it....."

Discord watched as Luna used her magic to take all of Moonlight's magic away. Colorful auras swirled from Moonlights horn. Just as she was about to be completely drained Moonlight directed all the magic into Discord. Light surges burst towards the Draconequus making him twice as powerful as before. Moonlight watched as her wings and horn vanished. Luna gasped in horror, she had her revenge but in return; she had made the most chaotic and evil being in Equestria more powerful then even the mightiest Alicorn.

When Discord gained his new power he sent a magical blast that traveled across all of Equestria.

The once plain dirt roads, where now made of soap, cotton candy clouds swirled everywhere, buildings were tipped and bent in different directions, random parts of the ground set on fire, and ground went from a deep green color, to looking like a multicolored chess board. Once again chaos was spread among Equestria.
