With tears in her eyes, Luna watched as the God of Chaos turned around to face her with fiery red eyes. He now looked twice as scary then before. His teeth were extremely sharp, his fur was matted and standing  on end, and his eyes burned with hatred and fear. Discord grabbed Luna by the neck and growled; Luna shivered.

"Discord, let me go!"

"And why would I do that?" Discord said in calm but scary tone. "We're just getting started...."

The Draconequus snapped his fingers and caused himself, Luna and the Prince to vanish from sight. He reappeared in front of the castle of the Sun Kingdom. Forming a lare portion of magic, he created a large barrier sealing everyone inside the castle off from the rest of his now very chaotic world. When he saw that was taken care of he went back to the Everfree Forest. He ran over to Moonlight and helped stand her up, her wings and horn were both gone. She was now a powerless, Earth Pony.

"See?" Moonlight said weakly. "Now all of Equestria is under your power again."

Discord looked around and smiled, she was right. Equestria was now under his power once again! And yet he still felt like he was missing something......

Twilight Sparkle woke up to find very strange surroundings. She was in a bed, with many blankets wrapped around her. She felt warm and secure, and yet at the same time she felt as if she were being watched. Then she heard the laughter.

"Discord? Where are you?"

"Don't worry dear, I can assure you I am very much here."

"Why won't you come out then?" The Princess asked.

"I'm not sure if you would......appeal to my new appearance......." Discord responded coldly.

Twilight sighed. Then she felt something on her shoulders, she turned her head to see Discord smiling at her, and it wasn't a very friendly one. When Twilight Sparkle was finally able to look at him, she gasped.

He looked terrifying.

"What happened to you?" The Princess asked in a scared voice.

"Aww, poor Princess Twilight," Discord said in a mocking tone. "You can't possibly be THAT afraid, can you? After all, I've always looked different......"

Suddenly Twilight found herself staring out at Equestria, only it wasn't how she remembered it. The entire Sun Kingdom was turned upside down. Chaos and destruction roamed free, it was everywhere.

"What did you do to Equesria?!" Twilight asked in shock.

"I simply gave it a few 'Discord' changes. I know chaos isn't your thing, but don't worry my dear, we'll fix that....."

Twilight felt herself being grabbed and was pinned to the ground. She kicked and struggled but Discord and his magic was stronger.

"Stop struggling Twilight........ You don't want to end up like your Mother do you?"

When Twilight heard that she stopped. Tears formed in her eyes, and a feeling of disparity washed over her. Discord smiled when he saw this.

"Oh, don't cry my dear. I promise in a moment all the pain will go away, and soon all you'll feel is love."

Twilight looked up at him sadly. "Really?"

"Why of course dear," Discord said. "Isn't that what YOU want? To feel loved? To have someone to be there for you?"

The Princess nodded. "Yes......"

"Then you must do exactly as I say, do you understand?"

"Yes Discord......"

Queen Luna was flung backwards from the intensity of Discord's magic. Prince Sombra helped her up.

"Come on Luna! Cant you try harder?"

"I'm trying all I can. But his magic is too strong!"

"I have to get to Twilight! She's alone with that  monster and his mind controlled servant!"

Luna stopped. "Listen to me young Prince. While Discord normally controls his victims, Moonlight is not under his spell, neither is she is servant. She has her own mind and follows every command given to her by him. I'm afraid there is nothing we can do to make her stop, there is no evil influence to remove from her. She is just as powerful and possibly even more powerful then Discord himself, but now that Discord has both their magic, there is no stopping him..."

"What would cause someone to be so possessive and violent just to cause all this madness?"

"Discord is in fact the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. It is his nature to corrupt what is orderly and to cause chaos and strife among others."

Prince Sombra sighed. "Come on Luna, we have to get to Twilight now! If we try hard enough we might be able to weaken the shield just long enough to get out!"

But before they could do anything the sheild vanished and before them was a familar sighg causing them both to gasp.

A burst of fire erupted  from the ground. Discord watched as a giant tornado mixed in with the fire, it spread wildly and flowed out as hot HOT SAUCE! Certain areas had hundreds of cotton candy clouds pouring out chocolate milk everywhere, but it didnt touch the hot sauce. The Draconequus laughed throught it all, nothing made sense anymore, just as it shouldn't. He looked down and noticed Twilights coat was now a dull shade of gray.

"Aren't you enjoying your new home?" He asked the now brainwashed Princess.

"Honestly, no. I feel like something is missing...."

Discord smirked. "Well don't worry about it anymore...."

He turned to Moonlight and whispered, "Take her the rest of the way where my plan will take action, then I want you meet me in the middle of the forest at nightfall........Alone."

Moonlight Chaos nodded. "Yes Discord."

Just as she turned around Discord stopped her. "If your going to hide again, try the garden......."

Moonlight didn't know what he meant, but nodded once again and turned around. Things were better and more surprising when they didn't make sense.

Discord watched as the Princess walked off with Moonlight. "Until we meet again, little Princess. I shall see you sometime soon..." He whispered to himself. Then he chuckled darkly. "And as for you, Moonlight Chaos.........this is something I've waited a long time for............ This will be a night you will NEVER forget......"

Moonlight helped guide the young Princess through the forest Discord told her exactly where to lead her. Why? She hadn't a single clue.

"T-t-twilight!" Prince Sombra yelled out.

There standing right in front of them was Twilight Sparkle. Alive, healthy and she had a small smile on her face. Luna and the Prince ran up to her and embraced her in a large hug. Luna gently touched Twilight Sparkle's lavender coat.

"Dear Twilight! You're alright!"

"Yes Aunt Luna, I'm fine!"

Sombra glared at her curiously. "How in the world did you manage to escape that monster, Discord, in the first place?"

Twilight stared up into the sky. "I'm not sure, I can't remember all of it but; as strangely as he came and took me he brought me back. He promised me all the pain would go away and would be replaced by love."

Luna shook her head. "That cannot be true, it was probably all a lie; a trick! He's probably going to kill us all!"

Just then they heard a familiar, gentle voice. "I wouldn't be to sure about that, sister........"

Twilight, Luna and Sombra jumped back. A small golden beam of light appeared in front of them, and in it's place stood Queen Celestia.

"Mother!" Twilight called, running up to embrace the Queen. Sure enough she could touch her mother's pale, soft coat, and hear her sweet voice.

"Twilight Sparkle! I have missed you so much!" Celestia replied.

Tears of happiness trickled down the young Princesses face. "Mother your back!"

Celestia smiled but she now looked stern. "Yes but only for a while Twilight....."

Twilight looked into Celestia's eyes. "What do you mean?"

"I can only stay for a certain period of time but...." Celestia used her magic to place a necklace around Twilight. "Whenever you need me, you may touch the crystal and I will be here."

The Princess nodded and shared a hug with her mother one more time.

"Luna, don't get into to much trouble ruling both kingdoms by yourself, I'll still be here...."

The Queen of the Night smiled. "We shall try Celestia, we shall try...."

Finally the Princess looked at Prince Sombra. "Take good care of my daughter, she needs you...."

The Prince nodded. "I shall try, your Highness."

Celestia smiled one more time. Then she vanished into golden sparks of magic and disappeared into Twilight's necklace. Just then Twilight saw her friends running out the door.

"Twilight darling you're alright!" Rarity called out with joy.

"Was that Queen Celestia?" Rainbow asked.

Twilight nodded. "Mmm, but I know now that no matter where I am, she's always with me."

Fluttershy smiled, "I'm so happy for you Twilight!"

Then the six friends shared a group hug, and as they did all of the chaos began to disappear. Everyone's eyes widened in amazement.

"But Discord's still free, how could this happen?" Luna asked.

"Don't worry Aunt Luna, I have a feeling we won't be seeing him again." Twilight giggled.

She looked up at the sunset and smiled. "Thank you Discord..... Even though you may still be an evil being of chaos, thank you for bringing me back to my friends..."

Just after the moon had taken it's position in the sky and Nightmare Moon had returned to the castle Moonlight Chaos crept out of the bushes she had been hiding in inside the garden. Once again her hair smelled of the sweet aroma from the flowers she enjoyed. And with that she headed towards the forest, she didn't like it without the chaos it was a bit too quiet. Not even the crickets were out! As she reached the beginning of the Everfree Forest she sighed. Moonlight wished she could fly again, and soar above the trees. But she still didn't have her wings, slowly she walked into the forest. As she got deeper inside she saw a glowing light. Walking towards it she found an amazing sight. There were fireflies everywhere, crickets were chirping, and small cotton candy clouds were flying all over the place sprinkling small storms of chocolate milk.

"What is this place?" Moonlight asked herself.

Then she heard a voice. "This is what you'be been waiting for your entire life my dear. This is your dream...."

Moonlight looked up to see Discord hovering above her. He gently flew downward and rested his lizard foot and cloven hoof on the ground.

"I think it's about time you got these back....." He said in a very charming tone.

He released a beam of magic and it swirled around Moonlight causing her wings, horn and magic to be returned.

"Discord," Moonlight began to ask. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because my dear, I have come to a desicion, one I should have made long ago but I never really understood what it meant. Until now....."

Discord caressed Moonlight's face and pulled her him. With a quiet moan Moonlight looked up at Discord, who smiled deviously back at her. Next Chapter: The Queen of Chaos Estimated time remaining: 9 Minutes
