Love's Hunt
Chapter 2: The Great Rewrite, Day 2.
Previous Chapter Next ChapterThe sun was assaulting my face. It felt as if I had been sitting in the sun for a good four hours. To make things worse, I didn't even pack my sunscreen! I can feel this cool tingling sensation sloshing against my feet, it feels nice. What doesn't feel nice however is the pain that has just made itself known very suddenly. I grimace in agony, my hand automatically finding its way to the bloody scrape on the back of my head.
"Jesus... bloody fuckin' arrgh," I said, my voice sounding all grungy and crusty. A small grunt ebbed its way out of my throat as I lifted up my head, peering down the river. There is absolutely nothing that I can even begin to recognize - aside from the fact that this looked quite like the Everfree forest. With great regret, I slowly start to stand up. Ow, ow. No, clearly something dislodged itself when I was out. Five minutes of pained grunting aside, I was ready to challenge the world. Wielding nothing but a sword and my three- ahhh wait, where's my sword.
I begin to panic a little, my eyes scanning the river shore in the shy attempt that I'll end up finding my bag. I proceed up the river, maybe it found its way up stream? That might just be the case. My feet snapped, crackled, and popped on its way down the shore and-- bingo! The blanket was still wrapped up, albeit soaking wet, but it still contained everything except one of the apples. Further down stream, I found my sword.
My body ached as I stood back up, the bag now securely strapped to my back with sword in tow.
"I need to make some headway before my marefriends end up finding me, I refuse to be killed by snu-snu," I planned out loud. My hazel eyes staring up stream as I then proceeded forth. Not even two seconds in and the bush to the left of me rustled, stopping me dead in my tracks. My heart had chosen to try to escape from my chest, beating against my ribs in its attempt to flee the situation. I drew my sword and crouched down low, eyes directly on the rustling bush. It sounded so goddamn loud when everything was this quiet.
I can almost hear the intense music building up as the creature in the bush revealed it self. I let out a cry that died as quick as it came.
"Angel?" It nods, looking sort of proud that he'd manage to scare the willies out of me. "Argh, don't do that! You damn near scared me half to hell!" I scolded, giving him a rather intense stink eye. After a few moments, I dropped the whole thing. I had bigger problems to worry about. One of which was definitely the distant sound of another ponies voice. It was quiet, but definitely had an edge to it.
Angel looked at me frantically, motioning for me to pick him up. Getting the meaning, I scooped him up and began to speed-hobble away from the voice. Intuition told me that that was definitely Butterbutts voice and that the heat was making her very very desperate.
"Angel! Come out! I wouldn't hurt you for anything!" she called out. It worried me that her voice was already so close. In a quick moment of speedy thinking, I slipped underneath a rather dense bush and cupped my hand over my mouth to keep myself from breathing too loud. Now, I know Angel has done some things- but I'm sure it's all in the sake of being raised with a silver spoon in his mouth. In this instance, we were life long friends in the middle of a great war. Neither of us moved.
"Angel- please. We were only having a little bit of fun!" Fluttershy said again, but it was deadly close. As if she was hovering right above the bush. I cupped my hand around his ear and whispered almost silently to Angel. "Don't move. Don't breathe. Don't even blink,"
He'd respond with a small but curt nod, staring outside of the bush with a glint of fear in his eyes.
"Angel! I can smell you, I know you're close!" her hooves landed right directly outside of the bush, causing the two of us to tense up. The pungent smell of flowers and musk practically radiated from this mare and whether it be magic or just how damn powerful her pheromones were it started to make me slightly dizzy. But before it got any worse and suddenly took off without warning, still calling out the bunnies name until her voice faded to nothing. The both of us sat there for another good 5 minutes before Angel felt it was safe to move. His body quivered a little, but he braved the trek outside of the safe-haven bush and looked about. Feeling that it was safe, he turned around and smiled at me.
Within the seconds that he'd turned around a pair of yellow hands snatched him up from the ground, a look of fright plastered on his face.
"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!" she said. Either I hadn't noticed it or we couldn't hear her wings. But she'd expertly juked Angel into thinking she was completely gone. Damn that mare!
After a few moments of saying sweet nothings to him, she'd gone silent. The soft sounds of sniffing could be heard. "...Angel, were you with Anon recently?" Don't give me out, comrade. Don't let her know.
"You were? Where? His family is looking for him!"
No! Angel!
"Angel, we need to find him!" her tone was serious, but I wasn't moving. I'm not dying today, thank you.
For a few moments there was nothing, she'd gone very quiet. Without warning Fluttershy yelped, following the sounds of a slight scuffle. "A-Angel no! I just found you!" he plopped to the ground right in front of the bush, glancing back and taking off suddenly. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten, I thought to myself, watching as Fluttershy flew after him. I only saw it now, but she was completely buck naked. Don't get me wrong. But she is some serious eye candy when you're not at risk for being kidnapped and fucked to death.
Stone-mode, don't fail me now.
I sat there for a solid fifteen minutes. Any reasonable person would've stayed there only until she was out of sight, but I needed to play it safe. My leg hurt and running felt like I took a dragon claw and went ham on my tendons. There's points in your life where you need to ask yourself though- 'where did I go wrong?'
This is where it went wrong.
I shuffled out from underneath the bush, giving everything- and I mean bloody everything a detailed look. Feeling that I was safe I slowly stood up and began to hobble downstream. There was a fresh line of dripping arousal the other way, so I'd figured...
Drip.
Something warm and wet had just landed itself right on the back of my neck. It was warm, smelled like someone shoved a flower down my nose and it made my head a bit dizzy. I slowly turned around and looked up, catching sight of the naked yellow pegasus flapping silently above me. Her eyes screamed her lust and the way she licked her lips didn't help. I detached myself from the butter-coloured pony flying above me and realized exactly what's about to happen.
I made a break for it, my leg shouting in surges of pain with every footstep I'd made, but my buddy adrenaline knew how to handle that. I ran harder and faster, the pain coming to a light throb as I tore down the riverside. I could practically feel her breathing down my neck, even at full sprint.
"Where are you going, Anon~?" she said with a sultry tone in my ear. This distracted me enough to not notice the jagged rock that I was intending on jumping over, which I instead tripped very painfully on. A tree branch caught my arm, tearing open a new wound followed by the worst belly burner in the world. I am now the proud owner of one profusely bleeding gash and possibly the absolute worst scrape on my chest.
"Anon! Oh sweet Celestia I'm so sorry!" she shouted, her hands resting on my back lightly and slowly rolling me over. With the speed of a seasoned doctor, she's already got some old yarrow leaves from a dead bush and crushed them up in less than a minute. I tensed and let out a pained moan as she applied the yarrow dust to the wound. It more or less worked, but it was more for minor wounds. Whatever, it still slowed it down.
"I-I'm bringing you to my cottage, I'll have you fully patched up there okay?" she said quickly, taking me in her arms with a small grunt. It took her a couple tries, but we eventually got into the air and moving.
It didn't take long for us to get to her cottage. Around three minutes worth of random blackouts and many apologies from Fluttershy. She practically kicked in her door, rushing me to her bed. It was kind of surprising how strong she was when she had a dire motive. I had no intentions of moving, everything hurt. But I did feel bad for getting a bit of my blood all over her bed.
She moves back with several bandages, antiseptic and a potion. She looked and me, uncorking it and drinking it for herself.
"I-It represses my heat, it'll help me think far more clearly," she said. I have lots of respect for this mare. She gingerly takes my arm and examines it carefully. "I'm going to clear out your wound, but I will need to give you stitches,"
My world was already rotating around me, so why not. Within the first process, my brain had decided enough was enough for one day.
Thump thump thump. "Fluttershy, we have an emergency! We can't find Anon anywhere!"
...
Thump thump thump thump! "Fluttershy!"
I felt my body get scooped up roughly, the pain ebbing its way into my subconscious haze.
"Anon, don't move. If you do, they'll find you and Celestia knows what they'll do," she whispered hastily.
I lolled my head about and found myself falling back into the murky darkness.

I was severely dis-satisfied with how the last chapters turned out. So this is where I come in around three years into the future. There shouldn't be any more comma parties now. Maybe.
