I am well away from the castle now I am sure I can hear my sisters screaming at my guards, and sending out patrols. From here on out I have to keep my head or else my efforts will be failed, because i'm in a wide open field flying while there are five dozens of patrols out looking for me let's just hope that I am small enough to not be noticed.

Today was a bit of a breeze. No patrols flew near enough to notice me, but it night time now and if i use magic to light up the area around me or make a fire i'm sure to be noticed, so I will have to wait out the night in the dark. Hold up I hear rustling in a few bushes nearby.

Overreaction it was just a small rabbit, but if there is  rabbit here there must be a forest near, because fields don't have much plants to feed them other than grass.

There is a forest near me, but it looks way too dark, and spooky. At the least it will be a good ge-

"THERE'S THE PRINCE AFTER EM!" Says one of the guards in the patrol.

They found me my only options are either go into this haunted looking forest or just surrender.

"GOOD LUCK WITH CATCHING ME!" I yell backwards as i move fast toward the forest hearing them chatter about not going into it.

I plunge into the dark forest with no regrets, and no second thoughts about what I had just done, and what kind of hell I was about put myself through.

It only took me a few seconds to lose them. I wonder how sometimes but they must have lost track of me in the darkness, or behind a dark tree.

I have only been here for at least an hour, and i have heard many things other ponies screaming a clucking of a chicken, and the loud bellow of a horrifying beast was it the hydra my sisters told stories about? I head in the direction of the screaming ponies seeing if I could help at all. I peak through a bush at the screaming pony, and it doesn't even look like a pony it looks more like a big Alicorn with holes all through it's body doing some things I don't understand, like what is that 2nd hole in that things rear, and what is coming out of it? Then it finally spotted me

"CHANGELINGS AFTER IT!" She screams with all her might looking at me, and pointing with a hoove that has a hole in it.

In that split second of fear I changed from an alicorn to a pegasus saving my life from a lifetime of I don't know what.

"Oh wait it's one of us let him be." Queen chrysalis says thinking that me changing from a alicorn to a pegasus was a perk of being a changeling.

I poke my head out of the bushes and sprint the other way. What had I just done? Why am I not an alicorn anymore? I have no idea how to get my horn back i'm just hoping i can figure out how to get my horn back.

Later on after a few hours of walking I stop near a cave with a few torches in it. I stop by the cave sit at the entrance, and open my pack. While my horn conveniently comes back making me an alicorn again. I take out a large rounded apple and chow down until its nothing but core, after that I take out a canteen full of water to wash it all down. Before i could take a 4th gulp of water a furry paw takes the canteen from my magical grasp.

"Hey pipsqueak what are you doing here alone? You lost your mom? Your dad? Or are you just plain stupid." The first diamond dog said all this with a mocking tone that i didn't like while two of others came up behind him.

"Can I have my drink back that all I need and i'll be leaving." I asked wanting to leave these poor fools alone.

"Hey what did  ya find?" Says the more chubbier of the three who clearly couldn't see.

"This pipsqueak sitting here drinking our water." Says the first one who greeted me earlier with a large grin.

"What do you mean your water." I say this with a statement and an air of annoyance. While slowly levitating a large branch behind one of the skinnier diamond dogs

"I see your an alicorn what are you doing away from the castle, or are you just one of those wretched changelings?" Says the one who hadn't talked the entire time.

"All I need is my canteen, and i will be leaving as i just said." I say with with a growing air of annoyance.

"Pipsqueak I'll be keeping this and you will be coming with me, because you can't just sit here lounging in front of our cave like it's some kind of hotel" Says the first diamond dog that talked to me.

That's when I finally ran out of every drop of patience I had.

"I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" I scream at them from where I sat.

That is when i launched myself at the first one while the large stick fell on the two others heads. I could feel his large claws ripping at my skin until i started bucking him in the face with me hooves, and i may not have been the strongest but i kept bashing at has skull until i didn't feel any resistance. I looked back, and saw a terrifying sight. The diamond dog's face was completely caved in and pieces, and bits of flesh brain and face lay on the ground. After all this I looked down at my back hooves and saw they were completely covered in blood that was already drying. It felt different ending a life a strange sensation that felt good, and bad at the same time. I think this experience changed me more than it should have.

I found myself in the heart of the forest with all kinds of strange creatures. I heard a twig snap, and I snapped my head in that direction. The fear levels sky rocketed as i saw a horde of changeling coming my way. Instantly I bolted in the other direction fearing for what would happen if I stopped I got caught by surprise by a few of them cutting me off from the right, as they tackled me down I casted a teleportation spell that drained me of most of my energy so I did the only thing I could think of in that split second I flew high into the sky above the trees, and away from the changelings. To my surprise the changeling's wings could actually help them fly I was just a split faster than them though.

I have been flying for too long and my wings are about to give out while the changelings are still chasing me with no signs of tiredness. 30 minutes of flying has drained me. I cant fly anymore my own weight topples me to the ground through the branches, and through the top of a hut. Next Chapter: Zebras in Equestria? Estimated time remaining: 35 Minutes
