Adamant stared at his friend with his eyes wide open, his gaze switched to the stage for few moments and then back to Star, he repeated that process a few times before finally comprehending the situation.

“That’s your little sister that you talked about?”

Star nodded.

“Duude, your sister is a stripper, high hoof!”

“What? No!” Star shouted out and stood up, dimmed lights seemed to be enough to hide him from his sister vision, which was rather weird considering she was a batpony.

“What is she doing here? I thought she’s working as a waitress in a café in town called Ponyville.”

“Well I don’t know why would she lie to you, she does a pretty good job up there.”

Star growled at his friend “Sky, is there a way I can talk with her?”

“Perhaps, after a show if you have some connections that could lead you to backstage.”

Star cocked an eyebrow. “Well do you?”

“Sure I do, we can go there after it’s…. oh wow Star your sister has a really nice a….”

“Don’t you dare finish your sentence.”

“Okay I won’t.” Sky said and smiled, Star nodded and started to leave, he stopped after few steps and turned around “What are you doing?”

“What?”

“Dude that’s my sister.”

“Hey, I won’t miss a good show just because she’s from your family ok?”

“Guhh fine, I’ll wait at the bar.” Star said and left the place with an angry frown on his muzzle.

Vinyl stood frozen, few last tears fell from her eyes, she wasn’t sure what she heard.

Void almost as if he knew that repeated his question “Are you doing something on next Friday night?”

Vinyl wiped those few tears that still were hanging from her eyes and finally a small smile made its way onto her muzzle “No, I don’t have any plans.”

Void cleared his throat “Well then, what would you say about going together to a nice restaurant? I’ll pay of course.”

Vinyl opened her mouth to respond but she couldn’t find her voice, they stood there in calm silence, the only sound they could hear was a gentle whistle of wind blowing through the window.

“Are you asking me, on a date?” She finally asked.

“Yes, but this time, no loud music, no drugs, no cupcakes, how does that sound?” Void asked with a hopeful smile.

Vinyl could swear that in that moment somepony lifted a huge stone off her heart, that pony was standing right in front of her.

She smiled widely and cheerfully answered “Sure I do! So at what time should I expect you?”

She already sounds more like herself, good. “How about 8 p.m?”

“Sounds good to me, well then I guess I won’t hold you here anymore, this captain of yours might get a bit angry.”

Void chuckled and nodded “See you on Friday.”

Vinyl nodded and started to walk towards the doors, only to stop near Void and give him a quick peck on a cheek “I can’t wait.” Were her last words before she left the room, leaving Void alone with his thoughts.

Which were soon interrupted by the intimidating voice he knew way too well.

“Soldier! I can’t see your guest here anymore! But the real question is, why I can see you here?!”

“Sorry Sir!”

“Don’t you sorry me, get your ass back on your post this instant!”

“Yes Captain!” Void saluted and quickly left the room, he closed the doors behind him and noticed something weird.

Did Captain just, smile? No, no it was my imagination.

Star sat down at one of the bar seats and slowly drank his beer. More or less 10 minutes passed since he left the stage, but for him it felt like 10 hours.

Finally he felt somepony’s hoof on his shoulder, he turned around and saw Sky, smiling dumbly at him.

“If you’re here, that means it’s over, right?”

“Yes it is.”

“Can we go and see my sister now?”

Sky nodded and motioned to follow him, Star did so and after few moments of walking, and going through doors that they shouldn’t be allowed to go through they finally made it to the backstage.

It was bigger than Star expected, staff members were in constant rush, running from one place to another, he saw few mares and even noticed the earth pony mare that mesmerized him so much with her performance.

After few talks with bodyguards and a bit of walking they made it to the changing room.

“They said she’s in here.” Sky said.

“Thanks.” Star answered and moved closer to the entrance, he raised his hoof and waited few seconds before finally letting it fall down on the wooden doors.

“Who’s there?” They heard a soft voice coming from the inside, Star had no doubt who it belonged to.

“Oh nopony special, just your older brother.”

“Dreamland?” Nova asked confused.

Luna nodded “As you may know, one of my duties is to guard dreams of my subjects. It’s my duty because I’m the only pony who can access a dreamland, in simple words it’s a like a huge hallway with a door to everypony’s dreams.

Nova pondered on her words for a few moments before coming to a simple conclusion “So you basically can spy on everypony’s dreams?”

“What? No!” She replied offended “I don’t spy on my subjects! I only go into one’s dream when I know he or she needs my help with her fears and nightmares.”

Well that’s a huge relief I’ll say. Nova thought to himself remembering some of his previous dreams about Princess of the Night. “I suppose it sounds interesting, how would that work?”

“Honestly, I’m not sure myself, I never before took anypony in there with me, but I have few ideas how will it work out, so what do you say?”

Supernova thought for a few seconds before adorning his face with huge smile “I’ll say it sounds amazing! When do we do that?”

Luna chuckled “How about today? You sleep through the day right? So I’ll go into your dream and try to take you with me into the dreamland.”

“Sounds good to me, but knock first, who knows what will be going on before you enter.”

Luna laughed and shook her head “I really like your sense of humour Nova.” She said and trotted away towards her chambers, leaving Supernova alone once again.

Nova stood there for few moments pondering about her last words Sense of humour? I didn’t even tell any jokes tonight.
